
In the National Tribune, 1880, an article appeared giving an account of the “Vision of Washington” at Valley Forge during the winter of 1777-78. The account was told by a gentleman named Anthony Sherman, who joined the main forces from Saratoga in 1778 in New Jersey. Click here for more

The person peay, pythia who wrote the snopes article has no credibility with me. She is involved in the occult, which is forbidden by God, and would present anything of a Christian theme in a negative or false light. She is not an authority on American history.
It is also possible, independent of her opinion, that this may not be true, so we will just watch and see what happens.
