His Features
Hadhrat Abu Saeed Khudri (R.A.) relates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, “Al Mahdi will be from my progeny. His forehead will be broad and his nose will be high. He will fill the world with justice and fairness at a time when the world will be filled with oppression. He will rule for seven years.”

* His facial features will be similar to those of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)
* His character will be exactly like that of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)
* His father’s name will be Abdullah
* His mother’s name will be Aamina
* He will speak with a slight stutter and occasionally this stutter will frustrate him causing him to hit his hand upon his thigh.
* His age at the time of his emergence will be forty years
* He will receive Knowledge from Allah.

I wonder if they think they are on schedule. I have not seen an Imam Mahdi yet. Notice he is to rule for 7 years. Does this sound familiar to Christians?
The Imam Mahdi is predicted to appear during 2 eclipses – first is the eclipse of the moon on the first night of Ramadan, and second is the eclipse of the sun during the middle of that same Ramadan.

Ramadan seems to start anywhere from the end of May and lasts until the end of August.
Eclipses in 2008 and 2009 precede Ramadan.
For years 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, there are no matches during Ramadan for eclipses in these years.
For 2018, eclipses occur in mid July to the end of July (partial sun and total moon).
For 2019, eclipses occur in early July to the middle of July (total sun and partial moon).
For 2020, no matches.

There are Christians using for example, the Bible code, showing that humans are always trying to put God in a box. We as followers of Christ must do our homework. There is another religion ( Buddhist) which waits for Maitreya. I ask you to search about it. They use the same way of thinking than muslims. And as we can see by looking in television, buddhism is the religion of celebrities, and as wallpaper , they have charities. and sahih bukhari and tirmidhi narrate a hadith that whoever does not believe in Mahdi(from my progeny, the ninth one from Imam Hussain a.s.) is a disbeliever. GO CHECK OUT THE FACTS FIRST AND THEN WRITE SOMETHING.

As Jesus said, we will know the tree by its fruit. Good tree, good fruit. Bad tree, bad fruit.
If someone comes, who opposes Jesus as the Christ, then this will be evident.
If this person works in harmony with Jesus, and acknowledges who he is and his role for mankind, then this is a good person.
Muslims believe the Imam will be a good person, and it seems like the 2 groups, Sunni and Shiite, have different ideas about him.
Christians not not really sure if the Imam is the Antichrist, or a positive person who will acknowledge Jesus as Messiah, and fight the Antichrist.
We try to decide this by the attributes assigned to the Imam, that we read about.

Christians have much prophecy about the end times. But there are also many mysteries to be revealed. The bible does not mention the Imam, so there is no way to know about him from the bible. So we guess.
Anyone who believes in Jesus for salvation at the final battle will be spared. However, it does seem to indicate that Jesus will appear suddenly, as the battle will be in Jerusalem, and with nuclear weapons, he will have to act quickly. Jerusalem will be the center of the Messianic kingdom to come, and it cannot be destroyed.

After about a 1000 years, if the Imam is still down that well, he must smell pretty bad by now.
It should be obvious to the average mind that only something supernatural would be down there that long, if true. Since God does not live in wells, but in heaven, that only leaves one other person. I hope Muslims wake up to this simple truth. It is interesting that an empty well is basically a “Pit.” The demons will come out of one to torment man during the time of wrath.

To be very accurate it is not Islamic at all. Conventional Islam prohibits the belief in numerology along with other mystical philosophies. (This applies to both Sunni & Shiites)
But generally speaking, yes, the people that believe in the 12th Imam Mahdi are predominantly Shiites. But even then they only represent a small minority within the Shiite community.

1-Who are Muslims waiting for?
Jesus Christ. We also believe that he will descend to earth and rid the world of the evils of the Anti-Christ. The main difference is that we believe that he will descend as a Muslim. (I know, there had to be a catch somewhere)
2-Then who is the Mahdi?
I’m not sure, according to Shiaa doctrine he will fight alongside Jesus Christ. Unfortunately since I was raised as a Sunni Muslim I don’t much about Shiaa doctrine.
3-What about this 12th Imam stuff.
Well the word Imam in Arabic basically means “he who leads”. In a religious context it would be more like “he who preaches”. In the Twelver Shiism (a branch of Shiia doctrine), an Imam is regarded more as a saint. You could read more at Wikipedia “http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelvers”, it has a very through explanation (you might have to get acquainted with some of the Arabic terms though).
4-And finally, what about the numerology predictions?
BS. The people who believe in such things exist in all religions. These misguided people believe that there are hidden truths in the sacred texts waiting to be revealed. Yet for all it’s worth nobody has ever been able to predict anything other than what has already been _clearly_ prophesied in the sacred texts. The strongest of such arguments starts with “well Nostradamus propheciesed that …”. Associating events that have _already_ occurred with past prophecies in my opinion should be readily dismissed in any intellectual discussion.
Sorry one last note, in my previous post when I said that

I meant to say that the small minority are those who believe in the numerological aspect of the coming of the 12th Imam Mahdi, not the 12th Imam himself.

I personally do not think the next Muslim ruler will be Shiite, although I could be wrong. The Mahdi is a Shiite concept, not a Sunni one, from what I can tell. I just present the information, and let people debate about it.
I acknowledge the sincere belief that many Muslims have. I do not agree with the violence or the beheading. God loves me very much, and I love Him back. He does not want me hurt in any way. I am his spiritual child.
It really does not matter to me what is growing fast and what isn’t. The bible predicted that in the last days, that wickedness would increase, and that violence would increase. That is why Jesus has to return, to stop the violence. Jesus is for peace.

The prophecies about end times are shared among judaism, christianity and islam. As with most domains of human knowledge and learning, like economics or psychology or physics, the frameworks/theories become better over time. Similarly, it is pretty common sense to realize that Islam must be a more evolved religion then the preceding two, each for a different time/stage of human development. Both Torah and the Bible clearly mention the coming of the last prophet.
As for the concept of Anti-christ (Dajjal) fought by Al-Mahdi and later joined by Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) who finally kills the “Anti-christ” and prays behind Mahdi to join Christians and Muslims into one nation that fight together against the Zionist Jews is something that most muslims believe in and should believe in if they don’t. We don’t need to be apologetic for this belief.
Islam is the last religion. The acts and weakness of Muslims should not reflect on Islam. In fact, it is mentioned in the Quran as the major reason for their oppression and troubles before the rise of Anti-Christ and Christ. In Judaism, many have replaced the Torah with Tamrud (A heretic deviation) and the Vatican tells the christians for centuries how to interpret the Bible. In both cases, authorities have biased what people believe to serve the church and the zionists. Islam is the only religion where interpretation of the Quran is left to the reader and there is no central authority in history that told people how to interpret it. It is the purest of books, and it is proven that it wasn’t messed around by a bunch of self-serving Religious Authorities, to serve their own interest.
Moses and Jesus both are from Ibrahim as is Mohammad. Both are most-esteemed prophets for Muslims. Jesus is believed to be a miraculous birth from Virgin Mary.
Infact, Allah spoke directly to Moses and not to Mohammad (PBUH) , and Moses helped Mohammad (PBUH) on his night journey to the presence of Allah.
Mohammad is the last prophet. Am sure thousands of years manipulation by the church and jewish elders has muddled what u get from your holy books and religion but do some research, study the Quran and its instructions and u will realize that in every aspect it is more detailed and refined then the first two books of God. Several islamic sects tell already have accomplished this prophecy, they stand out : “qadanis” , “aamanditas”(both believe that mirza gulan was mahdi and Jesus comes spiritually) and the “faith bahai” that is a islamic sect shia that believes that ali mohammad(bab) was imam mahdi and hussein ali( bahaullah )was the return of Jesus Christ.

The correct name for the god of the old and new testament is Yahweh.
The soul of Jesus was special. The Father did give Jesus his spirit, so that he could do the miracles that he did on earth, so he could rise from the dead, raise others from the dead, and so he could ascend into heaven. A normal soul cannot do this.
The soul of Jesus would also have to be special, because even the Muslims expect him to return to earth. And again, no normal person who dies is able to do this. This means that Jesus has special qualities that other people do not have.
This is something else to think about. Jesus is special. He has the ability to defeat the Antichrist. No human will be able to do this except Jesus. So how is this possible, unless the Father in heaven gives him a special soul, different from all others?

The Sunnis have a conception of the Mahdi too…. Please read Timothy Furnish’s book “Holiest Wars”. There have been Sunni uprisings where “holy” Sunni men have claimed to be the Mahdi. It’s a misconception to think that the Mahdi is merely a Shia belief.

The real Jesus has nothing to do with Horus. What we are dealing with is a BIG confusion created by the catholic church. The catholic church was paganized by the Roman Constantine, and we have had trouble ever since, trying to stop foolish doctrines from representing Christianity. Jesus was NOT catholic. He was Jewish. He was not born on Dec 25th, and he has nothing to do with eye of free masons. Then, 40 days later he ascended into heaven. 10 days after that, he sent the Holy Spirit to come down on his followers to give them strength and special presence of God.
Jesus taught us to love our neighbor, and to love our enemies. That means we love everyone. We do not hate anyone. We are allowed to reject and fight evil behavior and thoughts, but not hate the people doing it. There are people, however, who are upset because Muslims have killed innocent people. Many Muslims also take young girls – almost still babies – for wives. You will have to understand that they have a right to be upset. Even you are upset about these people.
What I would like you to do here is ask, what does the bible teach about Jesus (Isa), and who is he? This is just one page on my site. I have over 200 pages. I look at different beliefs, and see what they say. I also compare the beliefs to the bible. Is what people believe true or not true? I have to stay objective. If I had a Shia come to the site, then they would call you the kaffir, not them. I do understand and acknowledge that Sunnis are the majority. I think that if there were a future world leader of Islam, it would most likely be a Sunni, since that is what most Muslims are. However, people like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are real forces to deal with. And a Mahdi figure could arise from that area. So I do consider all possibilities.

It is a great blessing of Allah, that we have been given the ability today like every other day we have lived, to touch, smell, taste, see, and hear. What would we do if we were not born with these senses, we should thank Allah that he has given us our five senses. Every one of us are equal, nobody is better than another in the eyes of Allah. Allah loves a human 70 times more than that human is loved by his mother, whether he be a muslim, christian, jew, hindu, sikh, or any other religion. Nothing happens without the will of Allah, not even a blade of grass grows without the will of Allah, not even a rain drop falls without the will of Allah. Allah created the mountains when there wasnt a single grain of sand, Allah created the deserts when there wasnt a single blade of Grass, Allah created the sea, when there wasnt a single drop of water. Allah is the greatest, nothing is comparable to Allah, nothing is as perfect as Allah. Nothing is as knowledgeable as Allah. Nothing is as beneficient as Allah. Nothing is as wise as Allah. He is the sustainer, the do-er, the beneficient, the merciful, the all-knowing, the planner, the greatest. Allah is so great that our minds cannot comprehend how great Allah is. Allah created manking as the prime of all creations, we are the best of all creations. Allah has given us our eyes, mouths, nose, ears, Allah has given us so much. There are people in this world who are born disabled, yet we do not thank Allah for giving us our health, (All praise be to Allah). Allah is the one who gives respect, Allah is the one who gives disgrace, Allah is the one who sustains us. How often do we thank Allah for sustaining us every day? Allah sustains all the birds, fish, insects, humans, because it is the will of Allah, yet we neglect this fact amongst other things? How can this be right? According to our religion (I am a muslim), approximately 124,000 prophets came down to this earth, amongst them, was Moses (Moosa, peace be upon him), Jesus (Isa, peace be upon him), and Mohammad (peace be upon him). They all had a worry and concern for the population of the world, and they came to this earth as messengers, to convey a message, La-Illah-Ha-Illa-Allah (there is none worthy of worship, but Allah). After these 124,000 prophets, there are no more prophets to come, Mohammad (peace be upon him), was the seal of the prophets. Nuh (Noah, peace be upon him), conveyed the message of La-Illah-Ha-Illa-Allah for approximately 950 years. In our history of the prophets lifestyles, there are many cases of the companions of the prophets, known as the Sahaba. These were close friends of the prophets, and their issues and cases have been recorded in history. They went through so many hardships conveying the message of La-Illah-Ha-Illa-Allah, they were by no means messengers. But it is the duty of all muslims like myself, to convey this message, to not be selfish, and to invite others to good, and to Allah. This is the duty of all muslims. So, Inshallah (god willing), all of us should come to the mosque more often and perfect our salaat, and strengthen our yaqeen (belief), in the kalima, La-Illah-Ha-Illah-Allah-Muhammad-Ur-Rasullullah

I think what is most important is not what people say about a religion, but what is really true.
You do not need more than one religion. To accept one religion as true is to abandon other religions, as false.
You have to examine each religion for what it teaches. How did the founder of the religion behave? Was he holy or a sinner? Did he teach things that God would disapprove of?
Since God is holy, He only teaches holiness. So, is there a lack of holiness taught in the religion? Is the religion based on sex, power, money or holiness?
If the foundation of the religion – teachings and behavior is holy – then it is true. If the foundation is not holy – then it is false.
The truth amy hurt, but it is not an insult. Change history if you wish, but it will not change the truth.

Think for a moment. Begotten just means that someone becomes human, or takes on human flesh. In the history of God’s relationship with his people, he sent angels who took on human form. Why is it so hard to imagine that this happened with Jesus too?

I think everyone here has to recognize that the Muslims believe what they do, because that is what they have been taught since childhood.
Jesus is the only way of peace and life for anyone. They only understand him as a prophet, but they need to know that he is much more than that, and their understanding of what the bible teaches about Him is incorrect.

Muslims do not believe the present biblical record, as we know it.
They do not believe a true prophet can be killed by unbelievers, and that Jesus did not deserve this death, so a substitution was made by God. So, if he did not die, according to them, then there is no resurrection.

There are some scriptures that indicate the dead just sleep. Most of them were written before the time of Jesus, or before Jesus died, and went to hell to empty it. They were written by David, but this may just mean he expressed his impression. God had not given any teachings on hell in the old testament.
Remember also that Jesus told a story about a rich man and a poor man in hell. The rich man was suffering, but the poor man was “on the other side” and was at peace. Both of these were doing more than sleeping.
It seems like before Jesus lived, died and went to hell to liberate the righteous from it, there were 2 divisions. Once the righteous were removed, hell enlarged.
Maybe this would make a good study – When does hell start?
Paul once said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. This means more than sleep also. As your video indicated, the repentant thief was promised paradise that same day when he died. This means no “sleep” period first.
I think there is a preliminary judgment that all wicked might get from Satan when they die. Then at one time, all will be gathered for the final judgment, when people are either cast from hell into the lake of fire, or receive rewards in heaven.
For me, since i have never visited hell, I would rather imagine the worst situation, and avoid it.
I think what you are saying is that you hope there is a start time for hell, so that no one suffers longer than others.
Maybe this is just the human view. It seems reasonable to us, but may not be reality. The issue with Jesus is, that none of us should be there to begin with.

I wondered if the Hell is maybe outside of time, like God is.
For him 1000 years are 1 day, and vice versa- so he is eternal, for him there is no time. Time for us is the sequences of events, which can be defined and scaled (atoms in the atomclock/sun).
So maybe hell exists outside of “time”… without saying that i could understand what it feels like.

Maybe the wicked first go to hell, to suffer for their sins. Then when the white throne judgment occurs, they are thrown into the lake of fire and just annihilated forever. This way, there is a time limit to the punishment.
That makes most sense for me and gives me peace.
I simply cant imagine that my father in heaven, my loving and mercyful creator, has endless suffering in mind for my unsaved loved ones.

I have friends in Pakistan, who are very concerned about their country. I am sponsor for their son, so he can attend school there, and have what he needs. He is like a son to me.
He thinks war is not this year, but in a few years.
I want to help him leave there, but getting out of there, and going elsewhere is harder than it sounds. He got turned down once for a visa, and was told to wait 2 years and come back.

Matthew 15 is discussing how man has replaced God’s commandments with his own. So when people worship God, obeying the WRONG commandments, they worship God in vain. To truly worship God, we have to obey God’s commandments.
Matthew 7 is discussing false believers, who do things in the name of the Lord, but their heart is not with God. They do works for God, but for their own glory, for money, or for some other wrong reason. They do not obey God in their own lives, yet they want to be considered religious leaders. They are sinners, and need to repent.
Jesus was exposing hypocrisy in the religious behaviors of his day. This still happens now.

Which nation is this? I would think this is the nation of Ishmael as prophesied in the bible. For example Isiah 42 and Isiah 60; 1-7.

True, we should not be bowing to the sun or moon. They are just created objects in the sky.
Remember that the first believers in Jesus were Jewish. He came to them first, as promised. But because Jesus was “cut off” (Prophecy of Daniel) by the religious leaders, who represented the nation, the duty of preaching the kingdom of God, that was preached by Jesus was transferred to the new believers. This included Jewish and gentile believers. Areas like modern Turkey, Egypt and Syria were included, as well as other middle eastern areas. So yes, the sons of Ishmael were included in the gospel outreach.
Also note that not all gentiles became believers in what Jesus taught, and many today do not even know what he taught. The only way to understand the gospel is to read the 4 gospel accounts in the bible.

You ask a good question. When God states something, we have to look around, because He will repeat it again later, in another way to add clarity. God is also beyond our imagination, and his thoughts are not our thoughts. When He speaks, He speaks on both the physical, literal level, as well as the spiritual, symbolic level.
Isaiah 42 is a prophecy on multiple levels – Who is the Servant?
1. the first servant ever created was Adam, and he failed.
2. the next servant God called was Abraham, and he succeeded, bringing blessings to his descendants.
3. the third servant was Israel, as a nation, and we read about this relationship in the Old Testament. Sometimes, they did well, and many times they failed. However, we should not be too harsh judging Israel, because we, ourselves, have committed the same sins they did. Israel represented humanity, trying to serve God on their own strength, and failing too many times, because their human efforts were not enough.
Isaiah 42 first starts out describing the “perfect Servant.” One who carries God’s spirit and brings justice (the Torah) to the gentiles. He is described as gentle, quiet in manner, not causing harm to anyone, he will not even break a plant, he is so gentle. He will not fail or be discouraged, until God’s justice (God’s law- 10 commandments) is established on the earth. In seeing truth, gentiles will no longer be blind (verse 6) and they will be free.
God intends that the Jewish nation take what they have been taught and share it with other nations, to help them know God as well.
In verses 18-20 of Isaiah 42 describes this servant as blind and deaf. God then explains that this servant was unfaithful and had to be punished. Thus, Israel is not doing a good job as a group of people. They observe the law, but do not share it with the gentiles.
A servant can be a group of people serving God:
** see Isaiah 43:10- You are my witnesses (plural) says the Lord, and my Servant (singular) whom I have chosen.
God promises restoration to a fallen servant in Isaiah 43, and assures Israel that he is still its redeemer, even though Israel has failed God. God is very forgiving, and merciful.
In Isaiah 44:1-2, God calls Israel his Servant again, and gives it more instructions.
4. the prophets we read about – Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Joel, Nehemiah, etc – were good servants, but many times they could not get the people to repent, when it was necessary. This shows that even a good prophet can see a bad result, because people will not always listen, or believe them.
5. Jesus was a perfect servant who was part of the nation of Israel. He submitted to God, and obeyed him in every way. He then transferred his assignment to his disciples, and told him to finish going to the Jews, but then after that, to go the gentiles. Jesus was trying to teach the Jews as a group, to be proper witnesses and teachers. They already knew the law, and not it was time to share it. Jesus fulfilled the description in Isaiah 42. The mission of Jesus was to train a nation of good servants.
6. The next question is who else can be a servant of God? Can gentiles be servants too? The answer is YES – that anyone can be one.
In Isaiah 45, Cyrus of Persia is chosen as God’s anointed. He will use Cyrus, a gentile Persian, to serve His will. Cyrus, we know, did much to help Israel.
You asked about Muhammed. While I am not a Muslim, I will just answer in general here. You decide if the description fits.
ANYONE who serves God with their whole heart, their whole mind, and with all their strength, and obeys him the best they can, always repenting for any mistakes, and turning away from sin as a lifestyle. Jesus instructed his disciples in this way. As Jesus was a Perfect Servant in every way, if one patterns their life after him, and reads what he says, and does what he instructs, then they can be a servant too. Jesus made it so that we can go directly to the Father in prayer, and that we do not have to go through man or a special priest.
Isaiah 60 – the Messianic Kingdom.
This describes Israel during the time of the Messiah. Note it says in verse 3 that the gentiles will come there, and in verse 5, that the wealth of the Gentiles will come there too. The Jews will be re-gathered at this time (verse 4,9). It notes that in His wrath, god struck Israel (verse 10), but in His favor, He has shown mercy once again. Verse 18 says that violence shall no longer be heard in the land, which is not true of Israel today. It also describes a reunion of Israel and Lebanon, and other gentile nations in verses 13-15. Verse 14 describes this place as Israel as well, and refers to the city of the Lord, which is Jerusalem.. What we see most in this chapter is that there is peace in the middle east. The violence is gone. We see only cooperation, gifts and good will.
Thank You very much for your interpretation, but i would have to disagree on the location as you said being Israel. Verse 60:7 “All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.”
This verse clearly says the location being Kedar present day Mecca. Sounds to me like the annual Hajj “pilgramige” the muslims make.
Read it once again Isiah 60: 1-7

60:6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.

Questioner, I hope as you question Bible prophesies that you are open to see what you might not expect, even if it shows truths you were not looking for.
You pointed out Is. 42. You will find this prophesy similarly written in Is. 61: 1-on. Then if you look in Luke 4:18, Jesus is reading this prophesy in a synagogue. In verse 21, Jesus told them that this scripture has been fulfilled in their hearing. He revealed that this prophesy had been about Him. Thus, it was not about Islam and Muhammed. DavWms
Thanks, i am open to discussion. However i am still not convinced. To me when i read the prophecy in Isiah 42 i see clearly that it was foretelling islam. Let us look:
“Isiah 42:4.he will not falter or be discouraged
till he establishes justice on earth.
In his law the islands will put their hope.”
Jesus didn’t come with a new law, Muhammad did, another point worth mentioning is the islands. As we know today the country with the highest Muslim population is the “island” of Indonesia as we know before Islam they were idol worshipers and pagans.
“Isiah 42:6- I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles.”
Muhammad is a descendant of Abraham and came to Gentiles.
“Isiah 42:7- To open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.”

“To open blind eyes”. If we read verse 19 we will see more clearly that the word blind is used as idiom.
Meaning, he will show people the things that they did not know and will show people how to comprehend God and His message.
Prison is used as an idiom too. If a spirit doesn’t know God and doesn’t obey Him, then that spirit is in prison of Satan, and that person is prisoner of Satan. By accepting oneness of God and by obeying Him, the spirit of a person will be free and this makes that person free from prison of Satan. And in verse 8 God clearly states what He meant.
8- I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
(With explanation of verse 7) we understand that the person that God is talking about will come to a place that people worship idols as their gods. If we read verse 17, we may understand this better.
From verses 7 and 8, we understand that God is not talking about Jesus but Muhammad. Because Jesus came to Israelite s and they were not worshiping idols. But Muhammad came during the Jahilliya (ignorance) period of Arabs and destroyed their idols. If we read verse 17, it will be understood more clearly.
“Isiah 42:9- Behold, the former things come to pass, the new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
As we read in verse 4 and my explanation of it, the person, God is talking about, will come new law. And this person cannot be Jesus because of the reasons stated above. This person is nobody but prophet Muhammad.
“Isiah 42:10- Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles and inhabitants thereof.”
If you want to hear this new song please listen to someone reciting the Qur’an. The new song that God talking about is Noble Qur’an. If you hear how people recite the Noble Qur’an, you will understand what God is talking about.
“Isiah 42:11- Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.”
“Isiah 42:12- Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the islands.”
Kedar is son of Ishmael (Genesis 25:13-16), and has nothing to do with Jesus. This verse (verse 11) is not talking about Jesus but Muhammad. As you know Muhammad is descendant of Abraham through Ishmael. And the cities that they inhabited are in Arabia namely Telma (Tema/Teman), Yathrib (Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah), Paran (Makkah) etc. And if you observe the ritual of Muslims (especially during Hajj), you will see that cities (Makkah and Al-Madinah) lift up their voices** and people shout and glorify Allah from top of mountains, especially Mt. Arafat**. The rock is the rock that God sent to Adam from heaven, and it is located at the side of Kaba. As you know Muslim people make 7 tours around Kaba and kiss this rock while glorifying the Lord.
“Isiah 42:13- The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.”
“Isiah 42:14- I have long time holding my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing women; I will destroy and devour at once.”
Until Islam, God had never ordered any prophets to fight against unbelievers to destroy them. Believer were fighting only to defense themselves. But Allah ordered Muhammad to fight against unbelievers, and slay them if they don’t accept Allah. And if you study the life of Muhammad you will see that he was the commander of the army and he fought with his sword and he lost one of his teeth during the war. And God destroyed unbelievers at once (with only during of one prophet).
“Isiah 42:15- I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.”
Here God is talking about deserts of Arabia. In desert place, mountains and hills of sand are not steady, they diminish with winds and another one appears. And you can not find rivers but small water islands as described by God.
Also this verse has nothing to do with Jesus (
“Isiah 42:16- And I will bring blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked thins straight. These things I will do unto them, and not forsake them.”
As God says above, He did not send to pagan Arabs until Muhammad as stated in verse 22. Until Muhammad, Arabs were worshiping idols, killing baby girls, drinking alcohol, gambling etc. Allah a way (Islam, unity of God) that they did not know, made Qur’an and Muhammad guided (as light before) them, and made crooked things (mentioned above) straight.
This verse also has nothing to do with Jesus.
Isiah 42:17- They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that they say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.
This is exactly what pagan Arabs did, when they heard the message that given to Muhammad by God. They offered money, authority and many things to our prophet and he did not accept any of them. They ashamed, because they thought that all other Arabs will mock them, and will not visit the Kaba (at that time they were using Kaba as place of the idols that all other Arab tribes were using) and this would be their economic end. And they turned graven images and they asked help from those images.
This verse also has nothing to do with Jesus.
Isiah 42:18- Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
Isiah 42:19- Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the Lord’s servant?
“Isiah 42:20- Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.”
In this verses God talks to Christians and Jews.
In verse 18: Hear you (Christians and Jews) deaf, and look you (Christians and Jews) blind, you may see that above things are happening every day in Islamic world.
In verse 19: God says, “Who is blind or deaf? My messenger (Muhammad and his followers) or you?
In verse 20: You do see these things but you don’t pay attention, you don’t comprehend. You do hear the Qur’an and you know that Muslims sing new song and Muslim cities lift up their voices and they shout from top of mountains, they glorify Me, but you don’t pay attention, you don’t comprehend.
Indeed, Christians and Jews think that Muslims do not see the right path (blind). Even you wrote that “What Muslims do not understand…”.
These verses also have nothing to do with Jesus.
21- The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.
In Qur’an many places Allah calls Prophet as “My friend” (friend is not exactly translation for Habeeb/Habib, because Habeeb is closer then friend but I couldn’t find another word for this). And He magnified the law and people still follow his law. Jesus did not bring new law, and non of the Christians follows the law that he was following.
This verse also has nothing to do with Jesus
22- But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.
In this verse God talks about corrupted society of pagan Arabs. And, indeed, He had not send any prophets to Arabs until Muhammad. That’s why “none saith, Restore”. But up to Jesus, many prophets had been send to Israelites.
This verse also has nothing to do with Jesus
23- Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?
Who will become Muslim?
Conclusion:
Isaiah 42 describes Prophet Muhammad.

Questioner, as i showed above Is 42 and Is 61 are about the same One, and Jesus reading that scripture and claiming Himself to be that One, I wonder how you can read something else into the Word? I know it is hard to look without prejudice into the Scriptures. We Christians also have to be careful not to bring our previous teachings into dividing the Word properly. Many never succeed.

The Bible keeps bringing shame on the Messengers and Prophets. We have seen in this series that the Bible dishonors Abraham, Noah, Lot, King David and King Solomon; and herein, the Bible does the same with Ishmael. On the other hand, the Noble Quran states that Ishmael is a Messenger and a Prophet.
Herein, I will give you an example about the corruption of the translations of the Bible. I have referred to 19 different versions of the Bible looking for the translation of one word only; it is “wild X”.

This indicates that the translators of the Bible do not know the linguistic difference between the donkey and the ass and the bronco and the man.

If you look carefully, people are coming FROM Kedar to Israel in Isaiah 60. The scene is not in Kedar. Notice it mentions Lebanon. People are coming from there as well.
That is the point. The conflict in Israel is over, and people from all over are coming there in peace.
This is the God of Israel talking to Israel. The entire bible is about Israel, the God of Israel, and its Messiah. This is not the God of Kedar talking to people in Kedar.
Israel is told that Gentiles will come to it.

I think the number were accurate for the holocaust. They have a list of names for those killed from German records. Remember there were several countries where Jews were killed, not just Germany.
The denial is due to guilt. There were both christians and muslims involved in the holocaust. Some repented, and tried to be more fair later. But others persisted in refusing to feel sorrow over what they did.
Some want to cover up the guilt by denying it happened, or making it less than what it was.
It was a horrible tragedy, and I hope it never happens again.
In the meantime, we can judge a person’s heart by what comes out of it.
If people want truth in their lives, they have to be open to all truth, not just what is convenient.

But he did indicate we could know the “season.” We could do this by watching for signs he predicted.

Someone has said that Allah is one of many Deities symbolised by the Moon, and chosen by the family of Mohammed sallallahu alayhi wa alihi wa sallam.
This person should read the books he is reading more carefully. Because he is mixing Allah and Al-Lat. Al-Lat was a feminin idol in ancient Arabia, called the daughter of the supreme deity and symbolised by the moon. But the word Allah is nothing else than the word “al-Ilah” meaning “THE God”. It is the name used in the 1. verse of Genesis in its Hebrew form (which is another semitic dialect) “Elohim”.
When we say “Allahu Akbar” this does not mean that he is greater than other deities, but that He is the greatest in all the universe: greater than all beings that He has created.
You call Jesus “God” while he had no human-being whom he could call father. But is then Adam who had neither a mother, nor a father more worth being “God”, while his existence is more wonderful?
Mohammed did not come to change God’s law, but to fullfill it. Like all other 124000 prophets he preached the One holy law of the One and Allmighty God. So do you think that Meshiach of the Jews or Jesus are different persons? So why are you trying to interpret different persons in the prophecies of Mohammed? And why do you prefer to pick out the reviews of liars among Muslims instead of the truthfull ones who do not say anything else than Moses, David or Jesus said?
Did not Jesus say: “You can not change even a Yota in the law of God?”
And did not Simon (Petrus) order you not to eat unkosher food and to circumsize your male children?
I will tell you one tradition from Mohammed. He said:
“The people of Moses were divided in 71 groups and one will enter the Paradise.
The people of Jesus were divided in 72 groups and one will enter the paradise.
My people will be divided in 73 groups and only one of them will enter the paradise.” You got it?

I just am wondering where you get all these descriptions from of who the antichrist will be? I know in the Christian Bible it doesn’t say anything like that from what I can remember. I know it says that he will be as a man of light, not necessarily in those words. He will come as a man of peace and will promise things will get better but they’ll get worse. I cannot remember everything it says but I do know that when or if he does show up while I’m here on earth I will not follow anyone claiming to be Christ since Christ will take up his followers in the sky during the rapture. I will not assume anything unless I know it is a fact. I like that one show Revelation Now, that Jack guy explains the scripture really well. I know Jesus is coming soon, but how soon no one has any idea, we just need to be ready.

I read different descriptions from different sources. It is like putting a puzzle together. Very little about the Antichrist is peaceful. But he presents himself that way, in some aspects, to the world.
He is symbolized by the rider on the white horse in Revelation, representing false peace.
But then later, he appears as an ugly beast. In daniel, he is also a man of war, and a vile person, a beast. He is known for his “craft” (deceit) by which he tricks people into compromise, so they will be at peace themselves, allowing him to conquer them.
The muslims have their own views as well, which is where some of this came from. They believe in Jesus coming back but they have a Mahdi figure who helps him in some way.

The Shiite concept of Mahdi is totally false like the most of other concepts, they have changed our Islam into a Satanic religion. We consider them the biggest danger.
Our Islam is a religion that respects all the others religions (God ones), which told us to be peaceful. As an example, jews were living peacefully in Mecca (the place of the prophet SAAS) and all other the muslim cities and we respect them more than they do.
The reel problem that our Muslim countries are weak, not following the rules of our religion that is why you have an improper image of us.

It is true that muslims have messed up the whole concept of 2nd coming of jesus and the Imam Mahdi. Please spent some time to learn Ahmadiyya Islam interpretation (www.alislam.org) of this issue that makes much more sense than any other understanding of Jesus and Mahdi’s advent. The double eclipse sign has been fulfilled back in 1894 in the presence of a claimant: Hadhrat Ahmad. He claimed to be the Promised Messiah and the Mahdi as foretold in Islam and other religion’s literature. The idea of waging war to convert to ISLAM is also not true. Ahmad declared that there will be no religious wars now as it was prophecised my Muhammad 1400 years ago.

I would plead with Afsar and the other muslims to stop writing on this forum, you are getting nowhere.
The problem with Christians, Jews and others is that they can clearly see that the Quraan is the last and greatest of revelation, and that Mohammed(PBUH) was the last prophet.
However, wouldn’t it be great if you could go around commiting all sorts of wrongs (Rape, fornication, alcohol, gambling, pedophilea) knowing that you will be saved, because God incarnate in his son Jesus died on the cross for your sins, and you will be redeemed.
They cannot accept Islam because then they will be like all men, responsible and answerable to GOD only for their wrongs, with no Jesus to save them, and they’ll have to give up all their sinful indulgences that they love.
To Marianne and the others, did God come down on earth in Jesus’s body to die for a murderers’ sins?

I believe in the Bible, period. There is only one Bible. There are some “versions” that remove the king’s English from the King James version, and put it in more modern language, but the CONTENT has not changed. The message of each gospel is the original message.
Jesus died for all sins to be forgiven. THat includes even the sin of murder. But there is a condition to this forgiveness. You have to be sorry for these sins, and turn your back on them, vowing not to do them again. Since being perfect is impossible, as only God is perfect, Jesus has provided us with the Holy Spirit to guide us, and help us if we fall and sin again. He moves us quickly to repentance, so that our forgiveness continues.
Accepting Jesus self sacrifice for our sins is NOT permission to sin again. He took our punishment, because he knew, as sinful as we all are in our imperfections, that we could not bear the true punishment due us. Look at how harsh the law is. Under the law, everyone is condemned and guilty of something, at one point or another.
True repentance will show itself. The person will not have the DESIRE to sin anymore, and their heart will change.
Those that commit rape, fornication, alcohol, gambling, and pedophilia are not saved. They have not changed their lives yet and truly repented. But if they do, and they are sincere about their rejection of sin, and they pour out their heart before God in sorrow for these sins, then they are forgiven.
God does not want anyone to perish. He wants all saved. He knows that man cannot be holy on his own. That is why he sent Jesus to teach us and save us, and the Holy Spirit continues on today guiding people in their hearts.

On the same day, I returned home and I discovered my child had a fight with another in school, and he had lost his left eye
On the same day, my wife left me
I thought to myself that all of those things must have happened for a reason
I opened the bible and started reading
The next day, I stopped at Benjamin (the man who gave me the bible) house, I told him everything that happened to me
He was shocked and he said I can stay at his house for as long as I tried to find another house to move into
I would read sections of the bible every night for 2 weeks, with the thought that I would like to convert to christianity the following day
On 8th october 2009 I read about marriage and the punishments of divorce
On 9th october 2009 I read about how parents react when their children convert to christinaity
And so on… everything was relevant to my life, everything I was reading
I told Ben about it, and he believed me
He told me to convert
The next day, I opened the bible, and immediately read something along the lines of: If someone is ready to convert to christianity, they should convert immediately, because they dont know if they’ll be living the next day
Since that moment, I have been a christian
Ben is teaching me, and I am trying to get back with my wife, but she won’t listen, I am trying to find a new home for myself
I need some advice, should I tell my parents?
If they accept me, I can move in with them
But I want to be with Ben for as long as I can, because he has taught me so much, I really need some help, please help me

Your parents are still Muslim. I suspect they will reject you as an apostate for accepting Christianity. You know about what happens to apostates. I would not yet tell your parents. Just it some time, because you are new to the faith, and cannot yet defend your decision with scritpures. Build yourself up spiritually first. I would only tell them if you think they are secular muslims, and do not care much about religion.
We first have to find out why your wife left. What was her complaint? It is important to understand why she left, if you want to get her back. That is a different discussion. But for now, know that the devil has been breaking up many marriages, because he steals, kills and destroys. Christian marriages get attacked frequently, since the devil hates Christians.
It sounds like you have your child with you, so you have much to deal with, since he is injured.
