4 kinds of Curses

Do you feel cursed? Check to see if you have done something wrong against God, or if someone close to you is trying to harm you.

A curse is the effective action of some power, distinguished solely by the quality of adversity that it brings. A curse may also be said to result from a spell or prayer, imprecation or execration, or other imposition by magic or witchcraft, asking that a god, natural force, or spirit bring misfortune to someone.

There are different kinds of curses: (1) Biblical curses (2) Witchcraft curses (3) Curses by people who are not witches (4) Self-imposed curses

1.. Biblical curses: The Bible imposes curses when people sin. A lot of curses in the Bible are unto death. Take a look at Deuteronomy 28–it has many curses. These curses are there for those who do not obey God’s commandments.

family and labor will be cursed:

Deu 28:15¶But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

Deu 28:18 Cursed [shall be] the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

Deu 28:46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.
Deu 28:59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, [even] great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

cursed people turn against their spouses and family:

Deu 28:54 [So that] the man [that is] tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:

Deu 28:56 The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

mental disorder:

Deu 28:28The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:

bible says punishment to the 4th generation for unrepentant sin.

Deu 5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me,

Exd 34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear [the guilty]; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, unto the third and to the fourth [generation].

Num 14:18 The LORD [is] longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing [the guilty], visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation].

2. Witchcraft curses: Curses placed on us by witches, any kind of witchcraft. A lot of people are involved in witchcraft.

And a lot of people go to witches for the solutions to their problems, and if you are the problem, you will be receiving a witchcraft curse.

3. Curses by people who are not witches: People can place curses just by what they say or express about other people. I call this kind of curses “spoken curses”.

Of this kind the worst is what is called “Charismatic Witchcraft” or “Psychic Prayers”.

These are the curses which come from ignorant Christians, who pray their will instead of the Father’s will.

When a Christian prays a selfish prayer about another person, God does not hear that prayer but the devil does, and it gives the devil a legal right to send a demon to that person.

4. Self-imposed curses: What you say about yourself may become a curse.

If you say something negative about yourself, you are giving the devil permission to send you a demon.

Be careful also what you speak on your children and your family.

What to do about curses

Repent of your sins and the sins of your family. Bind all curses in the name of Jesus, and cover yourself with the blood of Jesus. Remove anything from the house that is a cursed or forbidden object – astrology charts, books, demonic pictures, statues, or games, etc. Avoid negative talk about yourself and others. Be faithful to do this daily. Pray. Seek prayer and support of others.
