Declaration of Faith
I believe the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God.
I Believe:
- In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
- In one God, the Father, eternally co-existing with the Son, and Holy Ghost. The Son and Holy Ghost are divinities above the angels, who share his divine qualities, yet submit and concede final authority to the Father.
- The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost were all were present at, and participated in, Creation. Thus, the term Elohim was used, instead of El, in scripture.
- But since the redemptive act of the Son, at Calvary, in which he gave his life as a perfect atonement for sins, paying the price for our spiritual liberty, this authority of the Father is shared with the Son, who is now the “Way” to, and Intercessor before, the Father.
- The Holy Ghost is all present on this earth at this time, and reveals the Son to us, and does what he sees the Father do in heaven.
- That Jesus Christ is the only begotten spirit Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus had no natural father, and his birth was a miracle.
- That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead.
- That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
- That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all, and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
- That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, understanding of, repentance of, and turning away from sin, and putting all trust in Jesus for salvation.
- We are saved by grace, and not by our own merits, yet good works should follow good faith. We will be judged for our works.
- In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost. We come out of the world, and become separate and holy.
- Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people. Materialism is to be avoided, except for necessities.
- In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
- In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. Ideally, it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Sometimes, personal inhibitions prevail, and it takes time for this to manifest.
- Each person has been given a special gift of ministry at salvation, and is to serve God in this gift, to glorify Him with their lives. The gift can be for public or private application, and be performed in a high level position, or a humble position. But in either, only God, not man, gets the glory.
- In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
- That the Holy Ghost comes to dwell with us in water baptism and salvation, and then dwells in us in a more intimate way in fire baptism, in which we receive special ministry gifts to serve God in humility.
- Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
- In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet.
- In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
- In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
Biblical position on Zion
- That Israel is the natural root of the Church, and we are its branches
- That Israel is the natural Woman which brought forth the Child (Rev 12), thus giving birth to the Church as well. This makes Israel the biblical “Mother” of the Church.
- That Israel is our natural family, and should receive our prayers, protection, and mercy.
- That the return of Jews to Israel is ordained by God, and they will never be removed from the land again.
- That the Galut, or exile, will be ended when Messiah brings back the remainder of the Jews to Israel.
- That Israel has to first be established in order to have a place for them to return to.
- That God is with Israel, who remains in the palm of His hands.
- Israel, as a State, and as a nation, has the right to exist in peace, without having to concede its land to do so.
- Israel is entitled to its land, which only it paid for, fought for, died for, and worked on , and developed from a barren wasteland, to a blooming desert.
- Jerusalem is the ancient and current capital of the Hebrew faith, preceding any other claims by other religions, and the city should never be divided.
