Does the Spirit of the Lord rest upon you?
Check yourself, and see if you have His presence. If not, pursue Him in devotion and love. Ask Him to be part of your life.

Really good!
When I start to get upset, I catch myself, and find a way to destroy the work of the flesh before it can manifest.
Before I had Christ in me, I was a man of wrath. Knew all kinds of ways to make evil devices. But God showed me there’d always be meaner, tougher people, and they come in groups. He also showed me His power and glory, and the absolute strength I’d have if I became weak in myself and rested in HIS strength.
What could be better then having the strength of the Living God???
When we are weak, He is strong.
We all need Him. We are all flesh, and we will war against it until we finally get glorified bodies.
and all this… we do not deserve, it is by the grace of God. (titus 3:1-5).
amen.
Hi
This is lovely, There is a time for all things see:
Ecc 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
Hi Bee,
Thank you for the extra scripture. Someday, also, we will have a time for rest, after a long life of testing.

Hi Marianne,
I love these verses from Isaiah that you quoted … if you continue just one more sentence … the Scripture says : ‘His delight is in the FEAR of The Lord.’
Here are the seven Spirit of God:
1. The Spirit of Yahweh.
2. The Spirit of Wisdom.
3. The Spirit of Understanding.
4. The Spirit of Counsel.
5. The Spirit of Might.
6. The Spirit of knowledge.
7. The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord.
Again His delight is in The Fear of The Lord!
I see in your post you only have 6 under the title of Spirit Present.
We see in revelation 3: 5
‘And from The Throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices.
Seven lamps of Fire were burning before The Throne,
which are The Seven Spirits of God.
I think this important.
Since His Delight is in The Spirit Of The Fear of The Lord (Yahweh).
Today in the seventh church there lacks ‘The Sprit Of The Fear of The Lord.’
Hi Abigail,
Isaiah mentioned only 6, which is where I was quoting from. Thanks for the complete list from the NT.
Marianne,
Isaiah mentions seven.
1. The Spirit of The Lord shall rest upon Him,
2. The Spirit of Wisdom,
3. And of Understanding,
4. The Spirit of Counsel
5. And of Might,
6. The Spirit of Knowledge,
7. And The Spirit of The Fear of The Lord.
Isaiah 11 : 2
Isaiah is in the old testament.
Dear Marianne:
Abigail is right, we’re looking in Amplified Bible and my husband’s NIV which also lists seven Spirits of the Lord. Keep up your good work on your blog, enjoy reading each day. Thank you, love & hugs from your Sister in Christ Jesus, Eileen
