Metatron (Hebrew מטטרון or מיטטרון) is the name of an angel in Judaism and some branches of Christianity and Islam.
There are no references to him in the Jewish Tanakh (Old Testament), Christian Scriptures (New Testament), or the Qur’an.
Metatron is another name for the Angel of the LORD – the One who appeared to Moses and said, categorically, “I AM WHO I AM.
Although he is mentioned in a few brief passages in the Talmud, Metatron appears primarily in medieval Jewish mystical texts and other post-scriptural esoteric and occult sources.

In Rabbinic tradition, he is the highest of the angels and serves as the celestial scribe, though there is no consensus as to his genesis, nor is there a Christian consensus on his position in the hierarchy of angels.
Metatron is identified with the term “lesser YHVH”, which is the Lesser Tetragrammaton, in a Talmudic version as cited by the Karaite scholar Kirkisani.
The word Metatron is numerically equivalent to Shaddai (God) in Hebrew gematria; therefore, he is said to have a “Name like his Master.”

There also seem to be two spellings of Metatron, one spelled with six letters (מטטרון), and one spelled with seven (מיטטרון).

It identifies him as the angel that led the people of Israel through the wilderness after their exodus from Egypt (again referring to Exodus 23:21, see above), and describes him as a heavenly priest.

2. Metatron as Melchizedek – this view is reasonable

Metatron’s position in the heavenly world is briefly and accurately summed up in the title ‘The lesser YHWH’; he is the HIGHEST of the archangels and GOD’S VICE-REGENT.
Like the Holy One himself, he has a throne and presides over a celestial law court” (p.243).
In a Dead Sea scroll (11Qmelch) the personage known as Melchizedek “appears as being exalted over all the angels,” and it is stated that He will “preside over a heavenly assize and exact punishment, with the help of the other angels” (p.249).
The Qumran community apparently regarded Melchizedek as the high priest of the heavenly Temple.

Thus Metatron is the same personage as Melchizedek – and the apostle Paul identifies Melchizedek as none other than the One who became Jesus Christ!
Paul writes that Melchizedek, to whom Abraham paid a tithe of all (Gen.14:18-20), was “without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but MADE LIKE the Son of God, REMAINS a priest continually” (Heb.7:1-3).

Notice!
This person had no parents, humanly speaking. He was KING of Salem, or Jerusalem, meaning, “king of peace” (verse 2). His name, itself, means “King of righteousness.”
He pre-existed the Universe, having no “beginning of days.” He is an ETERNAL being, having “no end of life.”
Thus His beginning had to be BEFORE CREATION, as “days” are defined as a product of the earth turning on its axis causing night and day.

3. The Jewish identification of Metatron with Enoch in first and second centuries after Christ – this is unrealistic

One thing that needs to be made clear is that these Jewish writings (2 and 3 Enoch) about Metatron came about only after Jesus departed.
The original Book of Enoch seems to have been written at the time of Enoch’s life.
But in the first and second century after Christ, 2 Enoch (written in Slovonic) and 3 Enoch were written by Jewish scholars, who were obviously not Enoch.
The purpose of the 2 and 3 books of “Enoch” is to identify Metatron with the man Enoch, and there are various “visions” and stories to accompany this claim.

Only the original Book of Enoch is considered consistent in time with the life of Enoch.
2 Enoch and 3 Enoch were written in the first and second century AD, by other people. So, the use of the name Enoch is not legitimate.

The Second Book of Enoch (usually abbreviated 2 Enoch, and otherwise variously known as Slavonic Enoch or The Secrets of Enoch) is a pseudepigraphic (a text whose claimed authorship is unfounded) of the Old Testament. It is usually considered to be part of the Apocalyptic literature.
Late 1st century CE is the dating often preferred. The text has been preserved in full only in Slavonic, but in 2009 it was announced that Coptic fragments of the book had been identified.
Greek is indicated as the language behind the Slavonic version. It is not regarded as scripture by Jews or any Christian group. It was rediscovered and published at the end of 19th century.

3 Enoch is an Old Testament Apocryphal book. 3 Enoch purports to have been written in the second century CE, but its origins can only be traced to the fifth century.[1]
Other names for 3 Enoch include “The Third Book of Enoch”, “The Book of the Palaces”, “The Book of Rabbi Ishmael the High Priest” and “The Revelation of Metatron”.

Some points that appear in Enoch 1 and Enoch 3 are:
Enoch ascends to Heaven in a storm chariot (3 Enoch 6:1; 7:1)
Enoch is transformed into an angel (3 Enoch 9:1-5; 15:1-2)
Enoch as an exalted angel is enthroned in Heaven (3 Enoch 10:1-3; 16:1)
Enoch receives a revelation of cosmological secrets of creation (3 Enoch 13:1-2)
The main themes running through 3 Enoch are the ascension of Enoch into Heaven and his transformation into the angel Metatron.

4. Hints from the Book of 3 Enoch that it had identified Metatron incorrectly, and descriptions that point to someone else.
In 3 Enoch, Rabbi R. Ishmael begins with a vision wherein he ascended to behold God’s chariot in heaven. He prayed for God to protect him, as he felt very insecure in this awesome place.
He relates, “At once the Holy One, blessed be he, summoned to my aid his servant Metatron, Prince of the Divine Presence” (3 Enoch 1:4).
In 3 Enoch, the overwhelming majority of chapters begin with a reference to “Metatron, Prince of the Divine Presence.”
*** only a divine, heavenly being can be a divine presence. A mere human cannot qualify.
In chapter 3, the Rabbi asks Metatron, “What is your name?”
He replies, “I have seventy names, corresponding to the seventy nations of the world, and all of them are based on the name of the King of the kings of kings; however, my King calls me ‘Youth.’”(3:1-2).
*** Notice that Metatron did not say, “I am Enoch.”
Metatron was called “Youth,” by God the Father, the Ancient of days.
This implies that as compared to the Father, the super-archangel Metatron has a beginning, a time when He was “youthful.”
It also implies a special relationship between the Father, the Ancient of Days, and the “Youth.”
** Daniel 7 notes a son “youth” figure appearing before the Ancient of Days. It is not Enoch, or Daniel would have identified him as such.
Dan 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, [one] like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
Yet He became the Prince over all God’s Creation, and Co-ruler of the Universe!
*** A mere man who was taken to heaven would not be given this position to be Co-ruler of the universe. This is a special heavenly being.
3 Enoch declares further of Metatron:
“These are the seventy names – each of them like the sacred name on the chariot, engraved on the throne of glory – which the Holy One, blessed be he, took from his sacred name and bestowed on Metatron – seventy names by which the ministering angels the King of the king of kings in heaven above. . . .
*** For God Himself to bestow his own name on this “Youth,” the Metatron, this Youth would have to have an intimate spiritual relationship with Him.
“The angel Metatron, Prince of the Divine Presence, Prince of Torah, the angel, Prince of Wisdom; the angel, Prince of Understanding; the angel, Prince of Glory; the angel, Prince of the Palace; the angel, Prince of Kings; the angel, Prince of Rulers; the angel, Prince of the exalted, lofty, great and honored Princes, who are in heaven and earth, said, YHWH the God of Israel is my witness . . . .” (3 Enoch 48D:5-6).
**** If Metatron has all this authority, and has many titles, he is not a mere man converted into a “lesser YHVH.” This “Prince” is the Messiah, the Son of Man seen by Daniel in heaven.
*** Also, as a prince over the other angels, his existence would have had to precede the creation of other angels, man and the earth.
When Genesis states, “Let US make man, Metatron, the Angel of the Lord, Co-Ruler of the Universe, was present.
Even though Enoch was just a mere mortal man, he is deified and turned into God by the writings. This is wrong, and has no biblical basis.
“Metatron is Prince over all princes, and stands before him who is exalted above all gods. He goes beneath the throne of glory, where he has a great tabernacle of light . . .” (15B:1).
** He has his own throne and tabernacle. Any mortal man is not worthy of this, no matter how saintly he is.
“The Holy One, blessed be he, said: I made him strong, I took him, I appointed him, namely Metatron my servant, who is unique among all the denizens of the heights. . .” (48C:1).
** Isaiah describes Israel as God’s “servant.” (chapters 41, 43, 44, 49, However, Israel fails at this mission (42).
He also implies the Messiah will be God’s servant, but he will not fail, but succeed at the atonement for sins, restoration of Israel, justice in the earth, and bringing God’s light to the world. (42, 49, 52, 53)
“I made honor, majesty, and glory his garment; beauty, pride, and strength his outer robe, and a kingly crown . . .
I bestowed on him some of my majesty, some of my magnificence, some of the splendor of my glory, which is on the throne of glory, and I called him by MY NAME, The Lesser YHWH, Prince of the Divine Presence, knower of secrets.’
*** Scripture says that God does not share his glory with mankind, so this would remove Enoch, or any mortal, as a candidate.
Every secret I have made known to him in love, every mystery I have made known to him in uprightness.
“As it is written, ‘So the word that goes from my mouth does not return to me empty: he carries out my will.’ It does not say here, ‘I carry out,’ but, ‘he carries out,’ which teaches us that Metatron stands and carries out every word and every utterance that issues from the mouth of the Holy One, blessed be he, and executes the decree of the Holy One” (3 Enoch 48C:1-10).

*** Jesus is the Word of God. He carried out every Word issued by the Father, and shared it with mankind. Enoch was never called the Word.

5. Coming back to reality about who can be YHVH, or carry the Name, and who can’t
Enoch did not go to heaven and become an angel, and then become almost equal to God, as a Lesser YHVH.
If God did that for him, then Seth, Abraham and Moses should be Lesser YHVHs also.
And why stop there?
Maybe all the prophets of the Old Testament and New Testament died and also became Lesser YHVHs. They were all as noble as Enoch, so why not?
But this is unrealistic, and unbiblical.

If Rabbi Ishmael did have a heavenly vision, the Lesser YHVH would not have said, “I am Enoch.”
And to assume it would have been Enoch is just presumptuous, and this makes the “vision” unbelievable.
In heaven, the truth should be very clear.
So why is Enoch picked out as a candidate, and no one else?
Did the writers just pick Enoch out because he existed before Abraham? So, this would explain the Angel of the Lord visiting Abraham, and others after him?

6. The NAME is a clue
The Tenach does mention the Angel of the Lord, and does not give a name.
When other angels are present, such as Michael or Gabriel, their names are given.
One time, Manoah, is told of the birth of his son Samson.
He asks the angel what his name was, and the angel replied that it was too wonderful to speak out.
Jdg 13:17 And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What [is] thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honor?
Jdg 13:18 And the Angel of the LORD said unto him, Why ask you thus after my name, seeing it [is] secret (wonderful, incomprehensible, extraordinary)?
** Hebrew word is pele פִּלְאִי
This incomprehensible, wonderful, unspeakable name is also connected with this verse, in a foreshadowing of the coming Messiah.
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
*** Hebrew word is pele פֶּלֶא
In both passages, the same root word is used. The angel of the Lord has a name which is too wonderful, too incomprehensible to even utter, or begin to understand.
This is also an attribute given to the Father, Ancient of Days, YHVH.
To this day, most Jews will not utter the name, out of fear of disrespect. It is too wonderful, too infinite, too holy to speak out loud.
To speak the name would put limits on the Divine Presence, which would contradict his limitless presence, power, wisdom, knowledge, essence, glory and holiness.
For this reason, Jews call God “Hashem (the Name),” rather than pronounce the Name YHVH.

The Angel of the Lord also supersedes Michael and Gabriel. He is not “anointed by them” into a position over them.
In Daniel 11, he mentions to Daniel that he is fighting the Prince of Persia, and only Michael is helping him.
Gabriel appears in other places, but does not demonstrate the power and authority that the Angel of the Lord does.
So, it is obvious that the Angel of the Lord is neither Michael nor Gabriel.
7. The Switch – Metatron, the Angel of the Lord, is Jesus (Yeshua), not Enoch
Only Yeshua is worthy.
What is happening in 2 and 3 Enoch is an attempt to identify the Angel of the Lord as Enoch, even though that makes no sense, because the Jews cannot accept that Jesus is Metatron.
This time significant written attempt follows the rejection of Christ, who claimed he was, in essence, this Angel of the Lord, and had the authority only ascribed to him and the Father YHVH.
Enoch was then construed as the Lesser YHVH, and Jesus was considered an imposter.
Jesus Christ said plainly that this great individual – the Angel of the Lord – was He Himself.
He told the Pharisees,
“Moses assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58).
In Daniel, we see the Son of Man (ie the “Youth” – the Messiah- the Son of Man) come before the Ancient of Days to receive the kingdom, on behalf of mankind.
Daniel did not say he saw Enoch, but someone greater.
Dan 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, [one] like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
Jesus was essentially saying that He was Metatron, the Lessor YHVH, the “Youth,” the Son of Man from Daniel’s vision.

8. Why the switch?
As there may have been some realization later of the devastating mistake in misjudging Christ, and this was a way to assure themselves that they did not kill the real lesser YHVH after all.
But they were wrong. They did condemn to death the Lesser YHVH, and for this they were to suffer.
*** This is not to single out traditional Jews as the only ones who have denied who Jesus is, because there are plenty of Gentiles who have done the same thing.

8. Tradition vs. the Denial
Apparently, there was something always present in the Oral Tradition of the Jews that supported the concept of a Lesser YHVH, but when they finally met him as the Messiah, they could not believe it was Him.
They had a history of making men, or demons, into gods, through the influence of pagan cultures, and were so severely punished for this, they feared acknowledgment of anyone who claimed a connection with the Divine.
They became spiritually blind, then, to the Divine Presence, and kept YHVH at a safe distance, so they could stay out of trouble with Him.
They therefore could not see Yeshua (Jesus) for who He was.

Only the heavenly “Metatron” could qualify as the Messiah, but any personality like Metatron was too scary, and too surreal, to seem true.
The heavenly Son of Man, seen by Daniel, was on earth, but the leadership could not recognize Him anymore.
Metatron had been pushed to the back of their subconscious until after the death of Yeshua.
Yeshua made them think…….and recall the oral tradition of Metatron.

Furthermore, Isaiah predicted that the Messiah child would be born as a human son, but he would also be called “Mighty God,” or from “Mighty God,” indicating His origins were heavenly, not earthly. He is from everlasting.
Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Attempts to cover this up, and substitute Enoch for this person is inconsistent with everything else the Tenach teaches about what YHVH would, or would not, do.
Enoch was never called these titles while on earth.
Apparently, after the time of Yeshua, the concept of Metatron crept back into the forefront of the Jewish consciousness.
By substituting another entity, Enoch, for Yeshua as Metatron, this helped to cover concerns about their rejection of the Messiah.

I’m happy you finally made a post regarding Metatron;
Originally, it was derived from tradition that Metatron was the one who took Enoch to heavens and made him into one of his categories in heavenly rank, hence the confusion;
The Talmud relates that Elisha ben Abuyah, also called Acher, (אחר, “other”, as he became an apostate), entered Paradise and saw Metatron sitting down (an action that in heaven is permitted only to God himself). Elishah ben Abuyah therefore looked to Metatron as a deity and said heretically, “There are indeed two powers in heaven!” The rabbis explain that Metatron was allowed to sit because of his function as the Heavenly Scribe, writing down the deeds of Israel (Babylonian Talmud, Hagiga 15a).
… the Talmud states, it was proved to Elisha that Metatron could not be a second deity by the fact that Metatron received 60 ‘strokes with fiery rods’ to demonstrate that Metatron was not a god, but an angel, and could be punished.
If we read between the lines – there indeed are no two divinities in heaven, otherwise it makes no sense that Metatron is allowed to sit in YHVH’s throne, unless we consider Metatron as Heavenly Messiah, or Saviour, humble image adopted by YHVH in order to become a Redeemer…

I saw that part about the two divinities. That was the interpretation of someone who did not understand who Yeshua was, and his relationship with the Father YHVH. This is also why Yeshua came, to demonstrate who he was. He made it clear that he was submissive to the Father, and not equal to him.
This concept is somewhat difficult for most people to follow, and creates a lot of doctrinal debates.

I have a book in Hebrew written in 1st century, called “Sefer Heichalot” (“Book of the Palaces”), which is the book inaccurately referred as “3rd Book of Enoch”, recording encounter of High Priest Ishmael with Metatron in Heavenly Palaces, originally it says that Metatron took Enoch to heavens in His heavenly rank, therefore Enoch is NOT Metatron;

Actually, term “Son of Man” indicates to divine, rather than human, origin…it’s Son of Man/Woman’s Seed made in the image and likeness of God, in opposition to Seed of the Sepent:
“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; they shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise their heel.” (Gen3:15)
In fulfillment of the prophecies:
“Surely God will smite through the head of His enemies, the hairy scalp of him that goeth about in his guiltiness.” (Ps 68:22)
“…Thou woundest the head out of the house of the wicked, uncovering the foundation even unto the neck. Selah” (Hab. 3:13)
Notice, it is GOD HIMSELF smiting/wounding the head of His enemies (Seed of the Serpent), therefore Son of Man is an indication to God Himself!

According to the Zohar, the primary text of Rabbinic Kabbalah, the term “Metatron” points to the “keeper” of Israel from Psalm 121:4:
What shall I do for him [Metatron]? I will commit my whole house into his hand, etc.
Henceforth be you [Metatron] a KEEPER as it is written (Ps. 121:4) “The KEEPER of Israel…” (Zohar; Amsterdam Ed. vol 2 Ex. p. 51)
It is therefore likely that “Metatron” comes from the Aramaic MATARA (keeper) -ON (our) or perhaps even Aramaic METATOR (guide) -ON (our).
The Zohar also tells us that Metatron is the “Middle Pillar of the godhead” and that this “Middle Pillar” is “the Son of Yah”:
The Middle Pillar [of the godhead] is Metatron, Who has accomplished peace above, According to the glorious state there.
(Zohar, vol. 3., p. 227, Amsterdam Edition)
Better is a neighbor that is near, than a brother far off. This neighbor is the Middle Pillar in the godhead, which is the Son of Yah.

Moreover the Zohar teaches that Metatron is not just the Son of Yah, but that he is “first begotten of all the creatures of Elohim”:
“And Abraham said to his oldest servant of his house” (Gen. 24:2). Who is this of whom it said “his servant?” In what sense must this be understood? Who is this servant? R. Nehori answered:
“It is in no other sense to be understood than expressed in the word “His servant,”
His servant, the servant of Elohim, the chief to His service. And who is he?
Metatron, as is said, “He is appointed to glorify the bodies which are in the grave.” This is the meaning of the words “Abraham said to His servant” that is to the servant of Elohim. The servant is Metatron, the eldest of His [YHWH’s] House, who is the first-begotten of all creatures of Elohim, who is the ruler of all He has; because Elohim has committed to Him the government over all His hosts.

Not only does the Zohar teach that Metatron is the Son of Yah, the Middle Pillar of the Godhead and the first-begotten one, but the Zohar also presents Metatron as the only mediator between Elohim and man:
“To keep the way of the tree of life.” (Genesis 3:24) Who is the way to the tree of life? It is the great Metatron, for he is the way to that great tree, to that mighty tree of life. Thus it is written, “The Angel of Elohim, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them.” (Exodus 14:19) And Metatron is called the Angel of Elohim. Come and see, thus says R. Simeon. The holy One, blessed Be He, has prepared for Himself a holy Temple above in the heavens, a holy city, a city in the heavens, and called it Jerusalem, the holy city. Every petition sent to the King, must be through Metatron.

I wish all this had been made more clear at the time, and since that time.
I am having one discussion where they complain that Jews see Metatron as an angel only….so that demotes him.
But what you say is contrary to this. The word “Angel,” in its proper usage regarding Metatron, still allows Metatron to be the son of Yah. If he is the “Middle Pillar of the godhead” then why did the Jewish leaders not see this, and why did Yeshua and his followers not bring this up?
Jewish teachers didn’t teach secret doctrines publically, neither did Jesus and his disciples…
And what is “an angel”? If you read the scriptures correctly, scriptures don’t make difference between God and His actions, whether they are carried out by God or through messengers (angels), or through His human servants…
Why is the identity of the Angel of the Lord not directly made – the archangels are all directly named – and yet Metatron’s identity as the one who appeared as the Messiah eventually is delayed and inferred. Aare we 100% sure that Jesus and Metatron are the same person / deity? Why did the Lord apply this caution in the scriptures?

The name Metatron was applied later on. Somehow, the name of the angel of the Lord was too awesome to pronounce, but I cannot give an explanation for why it was treated this way.
I cannot prove 100% that Jesus is Metatron. I just believe he is, because he matches the description. No one else does, that I know of.
While the Lord used caution in mentioning the name, scripture does mention the angel of the Lord multiple times, and mentions the Son of Man once. I wish that this presence was given more explanation.
Possibly, God intended for the presence to be spiritually discerned, rather than bluntly laid out for anyone – believers or non-believers. The prophecies indicated that the Messiah would come and be rejected. Those sensitive and faithful to God would discern the mystery of the presence, and those insensitive, unfaithful, and indifferent to the presence would not have this precious reward of knowing.
So, for those who were spiritually sensitive, they could “see” who this was, but for those who were spiritually blind, they could not “see” this.

The term Metatron was not used until after the time of Jesus, and it was coined by Jews, who did not believe in Him. The angel of the Lord in the OT was known about, and I think they were trying to give him a name.
It is their speculation I am presenting, not mine. From just the description of this heavenly person, I conclude it matches the description of Jesus.
One reason I wrote this is because this Metatron has now evolved into a mystical, New Age figure, and I wanted people to see the true biblical origins of the person, instead of going by fantasies on the internet.
Hopefully, they will abandon the occult concepts and think more about Jesus as the one who fits this description.

An angel in human form would not qualify as redeemer. The redeemer had to be a perfect man, like Adam, who, unlike Adam, chose to live a perfect life and die as a sacrifice for sin. After Jesus accomplished this, God was able to glorify him.
The Metatron myth probably arises from the fact that Satan, as Lucifer, once held this position before he chose to rebel against the true God. Jesus Christ now occupies this position because God exalted him to it, only after he accomplished the redemption.

The fact that more than one archangel had been attributed in rabbinical texts, aggadahs, hekaloth literature, aporcryphas with the same attribute as Metatron (see ‘Jewish Gnosticism_Merkabah Mysticism and Talmudic Traditions by Gershom Scholem). The first archangel to be referred to as Metatron historically was Yahoel before the Enoch traditions started. Shalom.

It is my belief that God created Adam to be the messiah (a king of men). He created another (Abel) to be a teacher of men. Adam was given the pride and drive to rule, while Abel was given humility so that he could find wisdom (pride is blinding) and provide that wisdom in the form of sciences, philosophy and law to humanity. The spirit of Abel is the “suffering servant” (Metatron: the archangel of Life and Death) while the spirit of Adam is the messiah.

I believe Metatron is the first born of creation and the firstborn always gets the double portion. Jewish oral tradition says Enoch became Metatron and Elijah became Sandolphon. Which I believe are the two witnesses of revelation. Elijah will come first as a forerunner to Metatron(Enoch). Metatron being the first born of creation will claim he is the first born son of Jesus. Just as Jesus was hated by the world so Metatron will be hated. I believe Jesus had a 42 month ministry just as the two witnesses will. He will gather the children of Israel around him, march to Jerusalem, and there, after overcoming the hostile powers, reestablish the Temple-worship and set up his own dominion. I believe in metatron, i saw his miracles in my life. it wouldn’t be Lucifer or the other kind of fallen- Archangels.

It is also in the Kol Bo Rav Pnimim (Zigelheim 1951), the Oahr Chudush (1978), The Machzor Rabbah (Eshkol), The Adler English translation (circa 1930s). And it is in the Artscroll In the Ashkenaz version it is on page 436 which has the Hebrew (Yud Shin Vav Ayin) and English translation.

The interesting part about Metatron is that his symbol, Metatron’s cube, defines an 8-dimensional multiplication that is used in string theory (our best candidate for a theory of all physics). I think you’re right in connecting Metatron to the beginning of days as he was there with Sandalphon. But every angel needs time as a mortal to become human and to learn on the educational playground that is “Earth”. Metatron oversaw the contract of Adam to the Earth, while Gabriel and Michael witnessed the signing. After Adam and Eve were sent from the garden Metatron left his post in the garden to someone like Raphael and another host of angels to become mortal for the first time. Enoch makes the most sense as he lived up until the death of Adam creating a righteous kingdom according to got as the earth had been overrun by evil. When Adam died, Enoch sensed his requirement fulfilled and began to retire away from the people only returning less and less frequently. Until he was eventually taken up to heaven by God in a chariot of fire after a giant horse came from the sky and took him to his place of ascension 7 days from his city. He was not granted the throne next to the glorious throne as a mortal. He was simply reinstated to the title. Although technically ones Devine self never perishes. It merely slumbers or is operated by another soul (any mortal life of an angel). I believe Metatron returned at the time of Christ, effectively giving up his throne at the right hand of God either to oversee Jesus as an apostle or to be Jesus. Though this epoch is ending so Metatron will return soon to his former status and Christ should descend to fulfill God’s will. I don’t really imagine there being hellfire and brimstone, just the beginning of a new age. But to return to a major point of this article, there are angels that have lived as mortals as it is a necessary part of holding the responsibility as an emissary of God, to know love and suffering. Enoch’s great grandson Noah is believed to be a mortal form of Gabriel. Which would make sense as Gabriel is like a little brother to Metatron whereas Sandalphon is his twin who didn’t become mortal until he was Elijah the prophet who fortold the coming of the messiah. I know Elijah was also taken up by a chariot of fire and I think Noah was taken by a kiss of God. Anyways. Don’t discount the merits of living a mortal life. You come across this teaching, which is derived from the Bible, already in the Books of Irenaeus (Bishop of the early Church, 130 CE – 202 CE.
GOD – who controls all things – reveals in the Scriptures that at ‘the time appointed,’ the “End Time World Order” will be destroyed and Jesus Christ (Heb.: Yahshua Messiah) will take over and establish His Millennial Kingdom.
Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our GOD, and of his Messiah; and he shall reign forever and ever.
But when will this happen? Are there any clues in the Holy Bible, which might lead to the year and maybe even to the season of His return (1.Thess 5:1, 4)? The answer is YES!

I was told to pay attention, but I’m stubborn. This angel told me that God wanted me to take part in his courts. I only know that its different from the courts on Earth. Akiana kramarik had a vision where a man came knocking at her door, and told her that he was a carpenter looking for work. She was seven years old and the carpenter was gone before her parents went to the door. She painted the carpenter and claims that he is the prince of peace. While in Heaven I received a stone from that carpenter. Its a long experience, and obviously people won’t believe me.

The word “pele” appears also in psalm 77 in “el asah pele” basically “the wonder working God”, the psalm talk about how God part the red sea through the hands of Moses etc
I’m from the caribbean and this psalm is used when you are a student, it’s most of the time linked and used when you need to call the patron of student, saint expedite…( but I guess can be used with saint anthony of padua or even moses for some ).

I have a prayer that someone gave me it state that all the angels sing to God by following the movement of their chief Metatron so I always linked Metatron somehow to the angel Michael or another aspect…

Nice and long winded one; however, Jeshua / Yeshua / Jesus is said to stand on YHVH’s right side whilst Metatron sits on YHVH’s left. How is that possible if Metatron is Yeshua? I know many secrets. As far as I know, the Creator (Father) Himself (YHVH) is not born of the flesh. As far as I know as well, Lucifer, the Fallen Star, is not born of the flesh either.
Yes, there’s much more, but as the prophesies state ‘A blind man shall lead them’. This was NOT and IS not Saul of Tarsus. An odd turn of events is that the Archive Keeper has worn eyeglasses in his present incarnation since age 4 / 5 but is also the one that the Creator (YHVH) has as his librarian. A blind librarian? Whou’d have thought? But maybe burying your nose in books all the time may not be such a good idea. Maybe it is. You never know until it happens.

Hopefully this helps further studies in this matter and expands on what I stated earlier. Jeshua / Yeshua / Jesus is in no way the same entity as Enoch / Metatron / Thee Ace Man.
According to the Zohar, Metatron’s first incarnation must ride a donkey. This is foretold in Zechariah 9:9 and Yeshua (Jesus) satisfies this condition in John 12:14. The donkey is symbolic of Abraham’s ordered sacrifice of his only son in Genesis 22. Yeshua, as Metatron’s first incarnation was meant to be sacrificed, and thus rides a donkey.
The second coming of Metatron will be in a time where the understanding of the written law of Torah will be complete. At this time Satan will be defeated by burning, from 248 commandments. This satisfies Revelation 19:15 where the Lamb has a sword coming from this mouth. For sword from the mouth is the spoken law. The bride of Revelation 19:7 is Malchut (our Universe, below Heaven), the vineyard of Mark 12:1. There is a time for the grapes to be pressed, and this is the treading of the winepress of Revelation 19:15.
In a broader sense, the true character of Metatron is described in 1 Corinthians 8:6:
“yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.”
This means all existence is literally the body of Christ, Metatron. The power of creation of the Father is manifested and taken physical form through Metatron. Now Matthew 26:26 is given deeper meaning, as the breaking of the bread is by tradition, an action done by the homeowner. As Jesus broke bread not in an earthly home, the action is implying Jesus is the home owner of a much grander home, namely, all physical existence. And all physical existence is his body.
Yikes. A lot of speculation and supposition here. A post by me to sort all this out should be done but would be HUGE. I’m gonna try to condense.
First, this is actually the post that brought me here to Heaven Awaits. I was searching the internet for ‘Metatron’ and I happened to notice this site and also noticed that both christians and jews for the most part sharing information amongst each other. Excellent.
Now for discussion.
In the First Book of Enoch (1 Enoch) there is mention of three parables. I only seem to find a translation containing two “The Son of Man” parable about the sacrificial one and “The Elected One” parable about the great ruler. Note, these parables are NOT about Enoch himself but are references to others that Enoch had in three visions. The Son of Man is no doubt Yeshua (Jeshua, Jesus Christ) and The Elected One is also no doubt about the Son of God. Does the text say that The Son of Man and The Elected One are the same person? NO. The text states that these are two different individuals and also states that these individuals are NOT Enoch. As far as 2 Enoch (Secrets of Enoch, etc.), very suspect as it seems odd that someone witnessed someone else being converted from being a flesh and blood person to being an archangel. Very, very suspect. About the only salvageable part MAY be the part about the name Metatron and to note from myself, Metatron does NOT mean anything in any language and was chosen because of the numerical relation to Shaddai in hebrew. That could sound about right IF it did happen (which is doubtful but you never know). As far as 3 Enoch, from personal experiences, the descriptions by Rabbi R. Ishmael do NOT equal the actual. A parasang is what? The description of the Throne of Judgement is false (four seasons my rump, it has 12 panels as described in the Bible, not 4 seasons) plus the names and all that. 3 Enoch is fiction.
Does Metatron actually exist? If he does, the guy typing this post is him in the flesh again (Enoch being the first incarnation, Thee Ace Man being the second flesh, and Metatron actually would not be a flesh name). If Metatron is the name ascribed to the Holy Scribe, then I am him. If not, I’m still Thee Ace Man, the second incarnation of Enoch (twin brother of Sandalphon and Elijah).
And wait a minute, no father or mother? Who was the Virgin Mary if Yeshua had no father or mother? Whatever.
I will now state more information on my own. First, Yeshua stated in the Gospels that he was The Son of Man which is a direct reference to the First Book of Enoch. Yeshua also talked about his father as being the Spirit of God (not God Himself, Peter said that, not Yeshua and this is why). Note, reread the New Testament now after I tell you these things to remember. Note, the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) contain references to words that Yeshua actually spoke. Read carefully and also note, Yeshua DOES NOT speak in any other text outside the four Gospels. Outside the four Gospels, others say that Yeshua said whatever, but DO NOT quote direct what Yeshua says (like “Peter said Jesus said” or “Paul said Peter said” and the like). Note as you read the Gospels and then note what gets said outside the Gospels. Many times you will notice that stuff in the Gospels is taken out of context outside the Gospels. You do not find Yeshua ever saying “I am the Son of God” in the Gospels. You find Yeshua saying “I am the Son of Man”. You also do not find Yeshua saying he is the Son of God in the Gospels either. You see Yeshua saying he is the Son of the Spirit of God who speaks in all languages. Outside the Gospels (Acts) you see Peter saying that Jesus said he was the Son of God. Yeshua did not say that. Also, you hear outside the Gospels that Yeshua said that the Spirit of God was the Word of God, but inside the Gospels, you see that the Spirit of God is Yeshua’s father and speaks in all different languages. So yes, when looking for truth, is it Gospel? Inside the Gospels, Yeshua speaks. Outside the Gospels, Yeshua is silent and others are noted as speaking on his behalf. Who are you to believe? Yeshua himself or others? Please read more carefully and things will begin to reveal themselves to you. The revelations being that the founding of the Roman Church is not as it seems. It is Roman, and not the Church as prophesied.
With that being said,
The Spirit of God is Yeshua’s father and is also referred to as “The Elected One” in 1 Enoch and “The Holy Spirit” and “The Spirit of God” in different parts of the Bible. The Spirit of God is The Son of God. God’s only begotten son, the Great Ruler, the Reaper of the Harvest.
Yeshua is the Grandson of God as he is the Son of the Spirit of God, the son of EMANUELLE (etc.) and is “The Son of Man”, the sacrificial lamb and the Sower of Seeds.
Shaddai is Almighty and God and the Alpha and the Omega and the father of EMANUELLE (to show that God is with him) and grandfather to Yeshua.
I am the second incarnation of Enoch, Thee Ace Man. You have heard of Ace haven’t you? There really is an Ace out there that aces things. How many others have realized this and how many times has this stuff been posted? Exactly. Sometimes the best way to work together is to realize both sides are wrong and start fresh.
I hope this helps… Yeah, there could be a lot more (scripture quotes, etc.) but hopefully the point gets across. Both sides (Hebrew, Christian) seem to be making up a whole bunch of stuff that leads to a lot of confusion, but isn’t true. If you compare Gospel quotes to what is found elsewhere in the New Testament, you will see a bad trend. Even though Jesus did not say he was the Son of God, Jesus must be the Son of God because Peter said that Jesus said he was the Son of God, even though you don’t see Jesus ACTUALLY saying that in the Gospels. A). “Hosts” was not refferring to Angels.
B). Spirits/Angels are beyond our physical space and time, thus a future Angel is also a past Angel as I already stated in my original post.

There are some really odd things out there about Metatron and seems to be more written about what has been written about Metatron than the original texts. According to what Edgar Cayce said in his readings, he spoke with Metatron and was told that Metatron had a unique characteristic, a double-nerved upper left bicuspid, that no one else has.
