Muslims have been told that Jesus predicted the coming of Mohammad. If one looks at the context of what Jesus said, one can see that he meant someone else.
Muslims are told that the Comforter to come that Jesus promised was Mohammad. Let us see what Jesus really said.
Who is the Comforter that Jesus promised?
Jhn 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Jhn 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Jhn 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me:
Jhn 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Summary of this part:
1. the Comforter will abide with them “forever.” Mohammad did not live then, and could not do this – be with them. Now that he has come and gone, he is not with anyone forever.
2. The Comforter is the Holy Ghost, not a man, who will “teach all things.” No man knows “all things,” only God.
3. The Comforter is a Spirit of Truth. Mohammad was a man, not a spirit.
4. Jesus had to leave so that the Comforter could come. That implied he was coming soon after Jesus left. Also, Jesus said that HE was sending the Comforter. Mohammad never claimed that Jesus sent him.
-
The disciples are to wait for the “promise” in Jerusalem.
Luk 24:49 And, behold, I [Jesus] send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
Luk 24:51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he [Jesus] was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
Summary of this part:
1. The “coming” of the Comforter occurred in Jerusalem. That is not where Mohammad was when he felt “called.”
2. The disciples were waiting and expecting the Comforter in about 33 AD. They could not wait until the 500s AD for Mohammad, because they could not live that long.
3. The promise would give them power.
When did the Comforter come?
Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Summary of this part:
1. Jesus died at Passover. He appeared after his resurrection 3 days later, and was with them about 30 days. He then ascended into heaven. Pentecost occurs about 45 days after Passover.
2. The disciples were given the power of the Holy Ghost.
Mohammad, again, could not have come at this time, and he gave no supernatural power to anyone.
The Promise of the Comforter was fulfilled 2000 years ago when the Holy Ghost came to the disciples in Jerusalem.

Marianne,
Hi hope you are well.
The moslems are very confused. They believe in the Koran. The best we can do is Love them and show them the differences between what God says in the Bible and what their false teachings are.
Muslims have been demonized. The Koran does sanction physical war among other terrible practices.
Love,
John
Hi John,
I hope my short studies, with scriptures, will help Muslims seeking the truth, about Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Hi Marianne,
these are about the same objections I also had, when hearing the claims of Muslims. This clearly refutes the idea. The idea that the Koran merely corrects somewhat the error in the bible is obviously wrong. The Koran rewrites the Bible, using some of the characters and events recorded in it.
Michael
I generally ask Muslims to explain how Moses’ law of tithing (10%) was reduced to zakat (about 2.5%) by Mohammad? Mohammad made a religion of his own from the Bible.
Regarding parakletos and Mohammd being the Comforter, I received an email from a Muslims. My answer is at
http://islam.vishwas.org/mohammad-and-parakletos-or-paraclete.html
I used the very verse they read (but do not understand)
John 14 : (15 – 16)
“If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father and He shall give you another Comforter that he may abide with you forever”
The Comforter will Abide FOREVER !!! Mohammad is dead and now dust !
Bible teached, “they have eyes but will not see!”
hi sandip
good points. God bless you.
Hi Michael,
Thanks. The idea here is to present an effective witnessing tool to help explain this issue, to get them to think more. Muslims claim they do accept the gospels, so I take the proof from there.

So are there any Messianic Muslims, like there are Messianic Jews? I have often wondered about this. If there are, they are probably a small number.
Hi Will
Yes, there are muslims who have accepted Christ as savior. But they are persecuted for their faith and killed, if they are discovered. There are also muslims who accept jesus in a positive way, that remain as muslims. they just need a full revelation of who Jesus is. I really hope this revelation comes to many of them in the days ahead.
Muslims accept gospels as much as they believe in all the prophets and their books. Unfortunately, all is not corrupted ! Muslims have their own Injeel (Gospel) and they choose what to believe based on Quran and not from the old Scriptures.
I draw attention of Muslims to the fact that Islam needs to declare all old scriptures as corrupted while Christianity is continuation of the truth of the old scriptures because it accepts old scriptures as authentic. Christians don’t need to reject old scriptures and that is its strenght.
With a faulty scale and a blind faith, the truth is measured as a lie !
Let them hear who has ears !
Hi Mariannne,
Islam has been set up by Satan himself, to be a thorn in the side of both Christians and Jews!
Once the Muslim population has reached 10% of any country, that country is doomed to be taken back to year zero and will lose any freedom or democracy it possessed.
Their ultimate goal is to destroy any other religion apart from their own, either by stealth, violence or by breeding!
Hi Glenn,
Then this is even more important to get the truth to as many Muslims as possible. Their salvation – and our lives and freedom – depend on it.

Glory Be To GOD! Many Muslims are becoming Christians today. They see the terrorism and works of the extreme jihads in the name of Islam and are sickened by it. Islam is today’s modern beast (false religious system). Islam is not of peace. The Body of Christ is growing.
Just the thought of Mohammed as the comforter is scary. He’s evil. His false religion is evil.
MARIANNE PRESENTED THE TRUTH AND THE LIGHT WHEN SHE PRESENTED THE LIVING WORDS OF JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND OTHER WORDS INSPIRED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT THRU HIS APOSTLE LUKE WHO WROTE THE FIRST TWO CHAPTERS OF ACTS. WHEN THESE WORDS ARE READ AND PONDERED ON BY MUSLIMS WHO OUR FATHER GOD AND OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST LOVE AND WHO JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR IT CAN AND OFTEN DOES CHANGE
THEIR HEARTS. TO SHOW HOW CRUEL THEIR FAITH CAN BECOME WITH IN THEIR OWN FAITH FOR INSTANCE WHEN A HAMAS PERSON IS PUT IN A JEWISH PRISON IN ISREAL HE IS TORMENTED, HURT AND EVEN KILLED BY HIS OWN HAMAS FELLOW PRISONERS FOR THE HAMAS TRUST NO ONE. THEIR WORLD IS A NIGHTMARE OF FEAR, EVEN OF EACH OTHER. THEIR LEADERS WILL DENY THIS OF COURSE. LORD I PRAY THAT MANY MUSLIMS READ YOUR WORDS THAT MARIANNE WROTE AND IT WILL PUT A SEED IN THEIR HEART TO WONT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT YOU AND BRING ABOUT THEIR FAITH AND BELIEF IN JESUS CHRIST AND GOD’S WORD UNTO REPENTANCE AND SALVATION. IN JESUS( YAHUSHUA ) NAME I PRAY . that’s not nice what you said it is an act of evil, you should love all god creation,do you think that god would punish some one who was so submissive, and gentle, and acknowledged the scriptures before him, peace
is this how christians talk lets learn from each other and then we would grow
Hi Alamin,
I respect the fact that Muslims are sincere in what they believe. I am just giving information from the bible about the correct comforter that Jesus talked about. I mean no harm to you. I only mean to explain the Holy Spirit sent by Jesus to us, for our comfort and inspiration.
I appreciate your efforts and comments. I agree that some people are not gentle enough when they discuss religion. They can be too critical, and they do not understand people’s hearts. It is sometimes a challenge to keep separate the person, vs the doctrine.
I can disagree with a religion or doctrine, but I still try to be nice to the person. Religion can be an emotional subject. I assure you that you are welcome here, and you can post your views as well.

Hi, very nice blog! I was wondering where you got the image of Pentecost? I am looking for a larger version of the same pic.
Hi LW,
Thank you. I just got the picture off the internet by using google search for images. Maybe try using search words like God, pentecost, holy spirit, etc. It has been a while, so I do not remember which search words I used. It looks like an old picture, which has been around for a long time.
I think that Christianity today doesn’t exist to an extent. For what reason? In 325 CE, a meeting at Nicea.. the apostles and people of power (the priests etc) admittedly did not know how to interpret what Jesus (pbuh) left behind! The first topic up for discussion at that time was ‘Do we take Jesus to be God? Or do we take Jesus to be a messenger, Prophet of God’ Of course, you had men on both sides. And your religion went one way. Imagine if it went the other way and your Bible would be completely different today! You’d be saying something very different.
The fact that Jesus (pbuh) said ‘the comforter would be with you forever’, look at it this way. Even Jesus is not with us today. Why? If you look at life, when somebody passes on and their memories, as well as what they left behind disappears, then that person disappears! However, when you view the Prophet Muhammad (saws), everything he did and the Revelation he relayed to mankind still remains as it was when it was brought! No other prophet was ever accepted by his people like that in their time. His messaged was memorized before He (saws) passed and from that time until 1430+ years later, the message remains unchanged in the slightest. The numerous examples of science and events that were told would happen after Muhammad (saws) passed, prove that he did not acquire that knowledge off of his own volition. Of course through the media (the same government which implements oppresion), they have certainly tainted your view for Islam, but no person that hasn’t already been, for lack of a better word, swayed by Christianity could look at the two religions and accept the fact that Jesus (pbuh) is God. Please respond! .. without harshness!
They DID know how to interpret what Jesus said. Being led by the Holy Spirit, they ultimately agreed with who Jesus really was and what He really taught – that He was and is God Incarnate. Bringing up “what could have been” is not a profitable discussion, since what happened is what happened, and “what could have been” is mere speculation.
If they knew how to interpret what Jesus said, there would have been no need for the meeting, and because of the ‘man made’ decision, the Bible wouldn’t contradict itself on so many accounts.
Dude, nice try, but you have it all wrong. All Islam has is a book and an organization. But Jesus rose from the dead, and He is, by His Spirit STILL HERE. Did Muhammed do any miracles? No, but even Muhammed said that Jesus was a worker of miracles – at least he got that part right…
I pray that Jesus will reveal Himself to you, my friend, as He has to many other people who have left Islam for the one true God. Have you ever read the book I DARED TO CALL HIM FATHER ? Very interesting. Blessings, and good-bye.
lol its funny how you want to use miracles now! even you see miracles and can deny them. yet you see it not.
Science from 1400 years ago. Unscathed literature (religious literature, nonetheless). The entire religion professes cleanliness and a way of life! You form your opinions from the same people that implement interest as a way of life, and media that is send us all to hell. You need to do your history. Instead of looking at religiously tainted documentaries, look into History. You’ll see that the Prophet Muhammad (saws) is undeniable, yet you profess to deny him! You’ve left your faith upto a group of white men from 1670 years ago who had to vote and argue to create the book that you swear is the truth! If they didnt understand it, why would you even try to understand me? Look at history.
God came and allowed his word to be tainted. but sent some brown dude who you guys cant admit is a prophet and will let his word go UNCHANGED until the day of recompense. funny how God works. must be the devil that beneficial way of life and science to the world!
It is you who is in the dark about true Christianity. I have been to the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, and Al Aqsa, as well and most of the masjids in my city. I have a copy of the Quran. I actually prayed with a (former) Muslim and led him to Jesus.
And I guess you have not heard that the Quran actually has been changed. In the beginning, there were different versions of the Quran, but some Islamic men set about to destroy the evidence. you can read about it here: http://www.answering-islam.org/Gilchrist/Jam/index.html
i actually think everybody is in the dark about true christianity. Good site listed below!! i have bookmarked it and look forward to reading it!
Dear UnDoubtful.
There is many times truth in what people say, even if they disagree on certain points. I am less traditional. I go by what the bible says, and what Jesus said about himself.
The romans who took over the church, I believe, did not read and interpret this well, and their interpretation has only caused 2000 years of confusion.
These are my thoughts:

Science is neither good or bad in itself. Quality of life means nothing compared to spiritual quality of life. And it is written that even the devil appears to some as an angel of light – just like many scientists do.
Isnt a Comfrorter some one Comforts you when your sad so any one can be a Comfroter a Freind, Family Member maybe thats what jesus meant they will be with you for ever meaning that at times some one will comfort you in your life
Hi Mitchell
OF course!….
We should all comfort each other.
The holy spirit is called this, because that is his main job. God knew the world would be cruel to believers, so when there is no help or comfort from the world, he is always there for us.
When I started studying Quran and Hadith and the life of Muhammad, out of curiosity, I found that Islam is not a true religion and Muhammad’s character is dubious. In total I would say, Islam is a false religion. If you compare other prophets in Holy Bible, they were very clean rather would say godly persons but in Mumahhad’s case he do not fit as a Prophet also. Then how he is Comforter or Holy Sprit? Muslims are afraid to accept Christ because they will be killed by their fanatic religious leaders.
MG
hi MG
Very true. That is why we should pray for the Muslims. Somehow, the truth must reach them, so they can at least know Christ in private, or know him in safety. Think of billions of people going to a horrible eternal destiny, because we did not pray for them. We will be held accountable if we ignored them. Preachers tend to only preach to the saved, not the unsaved. The unsaved need to be reached as well.

What Does “Islam” Mean?
The word “Islam” itself means “Submission to Allah.” The religion of Islam is not named after a person as in the case of “Christianity” which was named after Jesus Christ, “Buddhism” after Gutama Buddha , “Marxism” after Karl Marx, and “Confucianism” after Confucius.
Similarly, Islam is not named after a tribe like “Judaism” after the tribe of Judah and “Hinduism” after the Hindus. The Arabic word “Islam” means the submission or surrender of one’s will to the will of the only true god worthy of worship, “Allah” (known as God “the Father” in Christianity).
Anyone who does indeed submit to the will of Allah as required by Islam is termed a “Muslim,” which means one who has submitted to the will of Allah. Many people in the West have developed the sad misinformed trend of calling Islam “Muhammadenism” and it’s followers “Muhammadins.” This is a totally foreign word to Muslims and unrecognized by them. No Muslim has ever called his religion “Muhammadenism” or called himself a “Muhammadin.”
What Is The Basic Concept of Islam?
Islam teaches us that this life is a life of worship. We are placed on this earth in order to worship Allah and obey His command. During this earthly life we are subjected to a series of trials. We have the option of enduring these trials and conforming to certain laws, and our reward will be great in the next life, or we may decline to endure these trials and choose to not conform to the law, then we will be made to regret it in the next life.
Each person will be solely and completely responsible for their own final reward. We are also told that God has designed these laws to make this life a better, safer, and more tolerable one for us. If we elect to conform to them then we will see the result in this life even before moving on to the next.
We are told that the earthly life is a life of faith and work, and the next life is one of reward and no work. We have been placed on this earth to worship God, fast, pray, be industrious, good, kind, respectful, and a source of uprightness and morality. We are told that God has no need of our worship. Our worship can not increase the kingdom of God nor add to His power, however, it is in our best interests both in this life and the next that we do.
Unlike some other religions which claim that God entered in a covenant with a certain group of people and that this group is genetically better than all other human beings, or closer to God, Islam on the other hand teaches that no color, race, tribe, or lineage is better than any other. Islam teaches that all humans are equal in the sight of Allah and that the only thing that can distinguish them in His sight is their piety and worship.
“O humankind! Verily! We have created you from a male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that you may know one another. Verily! the noblest among you in the sight of Allah is the most God-fearing. Verily! Allah is The Knower, The Aware.” The noble Qur’an, Al-Hujrat(49):13.

isnt it amazing how the old testament is totally opposite to the new testament, in the old testament david had many wives, killed and fought great battles, and was loves, abraham had many wives too, but the new testament is like its from a totally differetn source then the one who sent the old testament, it proves to me that the new testament was in fact written by man, and all the men who wrote it did not even know jesus, they copied the religion from horus the sun god of the egyptians, thats why SUNday is the day christians made holy cause it is the same day that the pagan egyptians made holy, but in fact jesus was a jew who brought down the same religion as the old testament, but the people who didnt know him made up a new version of his life 300 years after jesus, and then persecuted anyone who had the gospels of the people who really did know him, google it, you will find its true, all who knew jesus and wrote a gospel there books were banned by constantine, and all who did not know him were the books that were chosen, if you study someting with truth you will see that christianity and its history dont add upp to the christianity we have of today, its complete opposite, you should enquire about who the unitirian christians were and why they used to be persecuted so much, …
dear Bill
The OT was very true.
It is a record of God’s commandments, how man sinned against those commandments, how God punished them, how they repented, and how God forgave them. Then man sinned again, and the cycle repeats.
This is the same thing we see today in man’s relationship with God.
What Jesus taught was true. Those who are true believers will know the difference between what man teaches, and what god teaches, directly, or through Jesus.
The men who lived before the new testament were as God himself said ” like one of us(satan) in understanding good and evil… These men stoned women, killed people for sexual sins, and for blasphemy,,,,practiced polygamy,. As god said in Gensis 3-22 they were like one of us ..(meaning the one who taught the Adams his idea of good and evil)
The new testament is to restore men to the likeness and image of God that Adam lost..Born again of THE WORD OF GOD..
So of course there would be a big difference in men’s actions…
The marriage between the Old and New Testaments is very simple: The Atonement Of Jesus Christ. All of this bickering can be silenced once people shine a light on the cross. Christ said that he came to fulfill the law. There is a song by Hazakim that goes like this:
“Pharaoh’s power has come to an end/ Yet mankind is still a slave to sin/ But there’s an exodus to the promise land/ So where do you stand with the Passover Lamn?/
Ricky
you have made wisdom simple to understand. I hope people read it and accept it.
comforter was the holy quran…
So you want to say that it took 600 years to Jesus to send the promised comforter while the church had been established and comforted much before !!!
Dear Brother, emotions are good but it should not blind you…
PEACE
Jesus did prophecy of mohammed’s coming in John 14.. It is verse 30…Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
This is satan in flesh.. i.e. the angel of light with the perverted gsopel..
Islam’s god was named after the ancient moon god named Sin..
.
And mohammed was so dumb he continuously said in the koran WE CREATED MAN,, we created this or that,, we ….He plagerized the Bible verse of Genesis 1-26 without a shread of understanding.. This verse was not about gods or a dual god creating man..It was in fact a prophecy about the remaking of man….
The seeds of Genesis 3-15 is a hint of this prophecy..
The actual creation of mankind was done by GOD ONLY..It is recorded in Genesis 1-27… AND SO GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS OWN IMAGE.. Plus the actual act of creation is in Genesis 2 and God alone did it.. Mohammed knew nothing but lies..was a liar and the father of the lie..
How do you know Mohammed was a physical man? just because you believe everything you’rfe told or read about, dose not mean that it is true, like people believe that Mohammed was a peadophile, but because you believe that Mohammed the prophet was actually a physical male, then you believe that he had sex with a 9yr old gil, when infact you have no concept of the meaning of Metempsychosis and the difference in the speed fo time and space beween the living and the dea! The same goes for you’re interpretation of the word Islam derived from the name Isreal, which in Old English mean’s “Terror” and relate’s to one’s own conscience. Yet you use these word’s from text’s for you’re religious hatred and war’s for profit out of the misery of the innocent, and this is what will be judged of all of you!
dude, u all shuld watch videos by syeikh ahmad deedat and Hassanain Rajbali. u all talks one sidedly when no one can disaprove anything u said and u just plainly reject the other side points just like that. Thats really not a fair nor intelectually good approach atleast for me to say,and an act of cowardice(sory ^^ but saying some theory true while condemning others without proper debate or facts is a coward act) .
if u want to convey, and disapproves others.pls do it in more proper ways.
( im not saying this for the author’s post but on the replies for the post )
The unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the holy ghost..Believing mohammed is the holy ghost comforter is that sin…
You are correct the Prophet of Islam was not the one that God promised to send in the last days of the end time. Neither was he the comforter predicted by Prophet Isaiah. The Prophet of Islam never set foot on the land of Israel. The true comforter that was predicted to come was sent to Israel and fulfilled the prophecies as ordained to do in the name of God in 2006 and 2007. The bible is clear that the one that God promised to the children would not be born in the middle east. Also they are an advocate of the spiritual law and the prophet of Islam introduced Sharia law that has nothing to do with the spiritual law. The prophet of Islam neither fulfilled the prophecies or the timeline. Nor did he have the name that was hidden in the texts.
Glory be to God
Ahava
Eliakim
I believe the comforter was the holy spirit.
Who do you think it is, that was sent to Israel in 2006 and 2007?
I was sent to Israel Marianne, that is how I know so much about the prophecies. After we had fulfilled the prophecies Abba and his Son would point me to them in the scriptures. God promised that he would plant her in the land of Jezreel and he certainly did that in 2006. The gathering was held in the Alonei Abba woods overlooked by Bethlehem of the Galilee. He kept me hidden in his right hand for his divine purpose and glory.
the prophet muhammed was real whether yourll believe it or not…and theres plenty of proof for your’s eyes to see..not to be judgemental or anything but if u have to find out more about the significance of islam, you shall see for yourself…ask god for guidance, maybe one day he will revert us to the right part…watch the arrivals, i heard it pretty much proves enough of facts that relates to islam…
as a matter of fact islam is the only religion with the most of different types of races u can even think of….just think about it..people cannot be confused when true revelations were brought down for prophets to preech…even the koran speaks about jesus so how on earth could it not signify anything…
“even the koran speaks about Jesus”
Yes it does. It reads Jesus was a prophet, not risen from the dead for human sin, and not the son of G-d.
You have denied G-d’s love for you. I wish you luck praying to Hubal, with your arse towards Mecca and the Kaaba.
Allah Akbar! Allah is greatest. Greater than all other gods at the Kaaba. Soon, the fingernail of the god will be in the September sky, and Ramadan will be over. But, the blood cult will have it’s victims.
Mohammad, who did live, and breath, was a mad man who married a 7 year old girl, and raped her when she was 9. A correct history book shows Mohammad enjoyed murder, and rape. That is who the religion of peace follows.
Good luck praying to the false god Sin.
I enjoy sights like this…they reveal insecurities. Do me a favour.Youtube Yasin Khalid..the comforter, He gives a great talk on the comforter, he uses the bible to substantiate his claims…As for the last comment..Allah have mercy on you.Marriane this is a beautiful website, visit the one im refering you to and get back to me via email
Zubair
I have heard him talk before. He misquotes the bible. Like this video….He claims Jesus said the comforter was named Muhammed. This is not true. He just made that up.
Read the bible for yourself.
When you want the truth, seek it yourself. Do not listen to a man. If you go to the scriptures themselves, which is the breath of God, you will by pass the interpretations of man.
Above, I have given the correct scriptures spoken by Jesus.
Read them again. Muhammed never gave supernatural “power” to the disciples in 33 AD after the departure of Jesus. Only God can do that.
The god of the Kabba does not exist. The moon god is as false as all the other 359. Allah means the god.
Allah does not exist, so how can it have mercy on Marianne?
All 360 gods at the kabba never existed, including the god.
Cheers
Zubair
I have no insecurities about my salvation, for the Holy Ghost, the real comforter, resides in me. I can tell you for certain, He is no mortal man. You should really stop believing what your Imams tell you to believe and search for the truth yourself; that is if you are allowed to.
We are Christians by choice, not by force.
dear bro/sis,
salam………islam mean submission, to will of allah(god),muslims will go to the kingdom of garden……..acoording to the mathew 7;21
please read..
tnq.
Allah in Arabic means the god, or my god. not G-d. The god, one of 360 false gods of the Kaaba where the black stone can take away your sin, is the moon god Sin. The moon is still on your Mosques. Muhammad, who married a girl of sevn, and raped her at nine, made the god the only god to worship, or else off with your head.
I support your right to worship whatever god you choose, but please do not try, and mislead anyone who the god is. A correct history book proves what I have written.
Also, your human logic is being used without the Holy Ghost to lead you in your understanding of Jesus Christ. The word of G-d the Father made flesh to die for all mankinds sins.
G-d the Father so loved his creation, he sent his only son to die for it. Therefore, only the grace of G-d the Father can get you to heaven. It is free, and the only thing in this world that is free.
I think you should focus your debate on who allah actually is ie…is he Yahweh? rather than focus on a human who started this religion. followers in every religion are guilty of sin.
With the greatest respect is no mention of garden in Matthew chapter 7.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%207%20&version=NIV
As far as the word comforter is concerned it does not mean what you think it does.
“For instance the English word ‘comfort’, used in John’s gospel of the Holy Spirit as comforter, has changed vastly over time. 900 years ago it meant to prod and poke, even chastise, to get someone to do something – now it is far more passive and means a mollycoddlying ‘there-there’ pat on the back.”
http://www.biblicalhebrew.com/wordstudy.htm
this passages says jesus(pbuh) is NOT god……..
1.2.2.12 A logical analysis
As we have seen at the very beginning of our analysis, Jesus (pbuh) has commanded us to “love the Lord thy God … with all thy mind,” Mark 12:30. We were also taught that “For God is not [the author] of confusion” 1 Corinthians 14:33.
So, if God’s nature is not one of confusion, then it should not be necessary to command us to simply “have faith” in the Trinity because it is a “mystery.” Is this not fair? Is this not what the Bible and Jesus himself say? So let us use our minds and be inquisitive. Let us ask questions so that we may indeed be able to truthfully claim that we have loved God “with all our minds.”
Now, most Christians today are taught that because of Adam, all of humanity has inherited sin. This sin was so great that it could not be forgiven by any normal means. This sin was so great that God could not simply say “You are all forgiven.” This sin was so great that even the sacrifice of a sinless mortal would not do. This sin was so great that it was necessary for God Almighty to offer up His only begotten son as the only possible purifying sacrifice for the sins of humanity. The only possible way for God to forgive humanity this tremendous sin was to have his son delivered to his mortal enemies so that they might beat him, spit on him, whip him, strip him, cut him, humiliate him, hang him up on the cross, and finally kill him. In this manner, God would finally be able to grant us the forgiveness He so wishes to bestow upon us. (1 Corinthians 15:3 “Christ died for our sins”, Romans 5:6 “Christ died for the ungodly” etc.)
However, when we look closely at this picture we find a number of problems. For example, if Jesus (pbuh) is part of a divine Trinity which makes up the essence of God Almighty, and if this God is ONE God and not THREE gods, and if Jesus (pbuh) died on the cross, then what happened to God Almighty?. Did the Trinity die also, or was a third of the Trinity ripped away from the whole, then tortured, killed, and sent to hell for three days, while the remaining two thirds (of God?) remained in it’s crippled form a safe distance away? Who was overseeing the heavens and the earth while all of this was happening? A crippled Trinity? No one? If I am made up of heart, mind, and soul, and one of them dies; what happens to the rest of me? Are they ONE or THREE? If God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are three names for the same being, (definition of the “Trinity” required by Isaiah 43:10-11 and many other verses) and not three separate gods, then the “death of Jesus” is just another way of saying “the death of God the ‘Father’,” which is also another way of saying “the death of the Holy Ghost.”
Some members of the clergy will object that it was not Jesus “per se” who died, but rather it was only “his human form” that died. His “godly” form was not affected. It is described as one describes someone removing his coat. This leaves us with a dilemma, because it leaves us with one of two cases:
1) Either Jesus (pbuh) “himself” did NOT die, but only shed his earthly body (as it were), and in this case we must ask, where then is the great sacrifice in this shedding of a useless shell? Did we not just agree a few minutes ago that the sacrifice of a sinless mortal was not sufficient in order to erase the sins of all of humanity? Did we not just claim that it must be a sinless “GOD” that must die? How then is Jesus’ shedding of this useless mortal shell which is not his actual essence an ultimate sacrifice in atonement for all of mankind’s sins? How is it any different than the sacrifice of any normal human being? Did the death of Jesus’ coat atone for the sins of all mankind? Can Jesus not simply make one thousand more human “shells” for himself to inhabit? Is his discarding of one of them an “ultimate sacrifice for the sins of all humanity”?
2) Or, Jesus (pbuh) “himself” died, in which case, since he is claimed to be part of the “Trinity”, and the “Trinity” is claimed to be ONE god, not three (required by Isaiah 43:10-11, Deut. 4:35, 4:39, 1 Kings 8:60, Isaiah 45:5 and many other verses), then God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are all claimed to have died, since they are all “the same essence.” Further, if all three are indeed ONE God then the death of this one God contradicts many verses such as:
“But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king.”
Jeremiah 10:10
Also, if the giver of life is dead then who shall bring Him back to life? The only way out of this dilemma is to accept the truth, that Jesus (pbuh) was not God but only an elect messenger of God.
Remember when Jesus (pbuh) is alleged to have died?:
“And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost”
Luke 23:46
When people die they go to their Lord to be judged. If Jesus (pbuh) was, as claimed, a part of a Trinity and the Trinity is only ONE god (as required by the above verses), then Jesus was with God in a Trinity before his death. It was only after his death that he was claimed to have left God, died, and gone down into hell for three days. However, this verse tells us a completely different story. It claims that Jesus’ essence was somewhere other than already with God while he was on earth (otherwise it would not have to go to Him) and was now going to God. Also read John 17:11: “…I come to thee. Holy Father.” And John 17:13: “And now come I to thee”…etc.
Sadly enough, most Christians are taught to brush off these matters with words like “It is incomprehensible, that is why it must be true,” or “believe blindly or you will lose your soul.”? Have we so soon forgotten “For God is not of confusion” 1 Corinthians 14:33 ? Have we so soon forgotten “thou shalt love the Lord thy God … with all thy mind,” Mark 12:30?.
Many missionaries attempt to prove that God is “three” by drawing analogies between God and His creation. They say: “There are three members in a family, father, mother and children. There are three states for water, ice, water and steam, etc. Don’t you see? God is three!”
Well, if this is the case then we need to notice that “Each person gets only one life. There is only one sun. There is only one earth. Each person only has one heart and one mind, etc.”
Similarly, “We all have only two eyes. We all have only two ears. Days are split into two parts, morning and night, etc.”
As we can see, following such tactics is indeed a frivolous pursuit. Such examples could be extended forever. We could say “There are four seasons in every year. There are five fingers on each hand. The Jews were only allowed by God to work for six days. There are seven days in every week, …” but you get the picture.
Now, God Almighty is claimed to have “begotten” Jesus (pbuh). He is claimed to be the “father” of Jesus. Naturally a father is present before he “begets” his son (no matter how you wish to define “beget”). Before Jesus (pbuh) was “begotten,” was the “Trinity” a “Duality”? Was God complete? Explain Isaiah 43:10-11. If Jesus (pbuh) was “begotten” then he is not eternal, but the definition of the Trinity which was first put together in 325 C.E. when the Trinity was first officially defined requires the “co-eternity” of God and Jesus (pbuh) (see below).
If Jesus is one face of a “Trinity” and the Trinity is one god not many, then anyone who sees Jesus has seen God, however, John 1:18 says
“No man hath seen God at any time.”
And we have just read in the Athanasian creed (Nicean creed) that “God” is a “Trinity” made up of “the Father,” the “Son,” and the “Holy Ghost.” We also read therein that God is not three gods but one God. If this is the case then anyone who has seen Jesus has seen “God.” But the Bible tells us that this is not the case.
Jesus (pbuh) claims to not even know when “that day” is
“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father”
Mark 13:32.
Is he not part of God? Is the “Trinity” not ONE god? The fact that one “personality” of God has knowledge not available to the other “two thirds” is a clear indication that they are distinct and separate beings, and not three faces of one being.
There are many such questions to be raised about this supposed Trinity which defy common sense. When someone loves God “with all thy mind” and they “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” are they not presented with countless contradictions regarding the “Trinity”? I am speaking about the logic of Jesus (pbuh) here and not blind faith. Jesus is beseeching us to use our minds but we would rather follow others who demand blind faith. Jesus (pbuh) tells us
“If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”
John 14:23.
Sadly, the same people who love him dearly have now been taught that in order to love Jesus they must completely disregard everything he ever taught his followers and must follow others who are better able to explain his message than himself. In effect, his words have been totally abandoned (see below).
“Say: ‘O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds [of what is proper], trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people who went astray in times gone by, who misled many, and strayed [themselves] from the straight path.’”
The noble Qur’an, Al-Maida(5):77

dear hymer
You raised some good points. I can answer them. But since there are so many issues, it would be better for us to discuss them offline, topic by topic.
You are basically protesting a doctrine put forth by the catholic church, when compared to what the bible says, does not make any sense. that is because it is wrong.
Part of this doctrine, along with its reasoning is wrong, and part is correct, but the reasoning has to be made clear as well.
I would have to quote half the bible to answer all the questions above. I can take it one topic at a time, and things will make more sense.
I will contact you offline.
The answers are actually easy, and simple, once the correct scriptures are looked at.
Dear mr.leatherneck, Confusion about the sacrifice(die for all mankind sins)
My Question Is-
If God knows and is in command of all things, He knew the outcome of Jesus’ death on the cross. He knew Jesus (his son) would not die. To have a sacrifice you must give up something. If Jesus didn’t die where is the sacrifice? And if Jesus is God, He knew the same. Sorry but I having a hard time understanding this
dear hymer
I know the Muslims are taught that Jesus did not die, but he did die. There were many witnesses. This also includes Roman execution records, as well as those standing there. When Jesus appeared to his followers after his death, he had the holes in his hands and feet, and a big hole in his side, where the spear went in, to make sure he was dead. Jesus had Thomas put his hand in the hole to convince Thomas that it was really him ( Jesus). While the rest of the followers saw Jesus in a glorified body after the resurrection, both John and Mary stood there and saw Jesus physically die, and take his last breath. Other followers were also there as well. There was no switch of persons on the cross. It was really Jesus up there. The Romans would have never allowed a substitution.
Once again the fact remains Jesus died, God does not die. Jesus rising from the dead, God never rises from the dead because God never dies,BUT he is ever living..but jesus died on cross isn’t confusing?

Oneness of God: The Ultimate Solution to the Trinitarian Controversy………………………
An Invitation to worship the only True God and Creator of the Whole Universe.
Allâh I (Subhanahu wa ta’ala, meaning: the Glorious and the Exalted) is the only God and Creator of the whole universe who Alone deserves true worship. Although Allah I has all the power to guide the whole mankind to worship Him, He I makes freedom of religion as one of the guiding principles of Islam. Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer, Allah) has given mankind to choose their own religion. He makes this very clear when He I says in His Book (the Qur’an) the following Ayât (Verses):
“Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error. Whoever disbelieves in false deities and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.” (Qur’an 2:256)
“Say: ‘O you that reject Faith! I worship not that which you worship, nor will you worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which you are worshipping nor will you worship that which I worship. To you be your religion and to me my religion.’” (Qur’an 109:1-6)
“Invite (all) to the Way of your Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer, Allah) with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for your Rabb knows best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.” (Qur’an 16:125)
“He is Allah besides Whom there is no other god, knowing the unseen and the visible. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful! He is Allah, besides Whom there is no other god, the Sovereign, the Holy, (the Source of) Peace, the Secure, the Preserver, the Powerful, the Irresistible, the Grandiose. Glory be to Allah ahead of anything they may associate (with Him)! He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Shaper. His are the Finest Names. Everything in Heaven and Earth celebrates Him. He is the Powerful, the Wise.” (Qu’ran 59:22-24)
“Say: ‘He is Allah the One. The Eternally besought of all. He begets not nor is He begotten and there is none comparable unto Him.’” (Qu’ran 112: 1-4)
“And behold! God will say: O Jesus the son of Mary didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah? He (Jesus) will say: Glory to thee, never could I say what I had no right (to say)”. Surah 5:116
“Say: ‘Will you worship besides Allah something, which has no power either to harm or benefit you? But Allah is He Who hears and knows all things.’” (Qu’ran 5:76)
‘Women have rights (over against men) equal to the rights (they owe men) – but men have precedence over them.’
(al-Baqarah 2: 228)
“Among His Signs are the Night and the Day and the sun and the moon. Prostrate yourselves not the sun and the moon but prostrate yourselves to Allah Who created them if it is Him you really wish to worship.” (Qu’ran 41:37)
“…Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him.” (Qu’ran 5:72)
“…The Command is for none but Allah: He has commanded that you (mankind) worship none but Him. That is the right religion but most men understand not.” (Qu’ran 12:40)
“Verily, the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, among Gardens and Springs; dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade they will face each other; and We shall join them to Companions with beautiful big and lustrous eyes. There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; nor will they there taste death except the first death. And He will save them from the Torment of the Blazing Fire as a bounty from your Rabb (Only Creator, Cherisher and Sustainer)! That will be the supreme success!” (Qur’an 44: 51- 57)
May ALLAH Bless you..
Thank You.
The fully human body of Jesus Christ died for all mankinds sin. G-d the Father raised the perfect human sacrifice back to life. Jesus Christ, the word of G-d made flesh, is now our high priest to G-d the Father. His perfect blood covers us from G-d the Father’s sight who demands perfection.
To die without accepting Christ as that which saves you from your sin, is to stand before G-d the Father with your works, and sin together. They will never be perfect, because only that part of G-d the Father called the word of G-d can be perfect while living inside a human body.
We humans are less than perfect, because Adam fell by trying to save Eve from her fall. Adam died to try, and save Eve, but two wrongs do not make a right. Plus, G-d’s greatest creation, us, repented. Lucifer did not repent, and was proud. he was given respite until judgement day.
Deuteronomy 12:31
“You must not worship the Lord your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the Lord hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods.”
So, does God support human sacrifice?
hymer
God does not suppor human sacrifice. God considers that murder.
Jesus was not a sacrifice…. he volunteered himself.
Jjust as you would “sacrifice” yourself to protect a loved one, Jesus “sacrificed” himself to save us.
The god of the Kaaba, or the moon god Sin is a false god, and is not the G-d of the Universe. I do not accept your blessing from the god, and do not eat food killed in your false god’s name.
This is a Christian website. You have made your faith clear, and we have made our faith clear. Both can not be correct.
Islam is just another religion that state works can get you to heaven. Works can not get you to heaven, only the belief in Jesus Christ who died for your sins, who did not murder, or lie, and rise from the dead can get you to heaven.
Sell your paganism elcewhere, as you have chosen to follow a man named Muhammad.

What Does the Bible Say About…Eating Swine?
“Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one who is among those who eat the flesh of pigs, rats and other unclean things—they will meet their end together with the one they follow,” declares the LORD.
Isaih 66;17
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven
Mathew 5;17
Hymer
It was God himself, in human form that died on the cross, not some child sacrifice of Yahweh. How is it that the Law can be “fulfilled”, except by the atoning sacrifice of a “pure Lamb”? for man is born to sin, but Jesus was born without sin, as he had not the seed of man, because he was born of a virgin.
Jesus is Yahweh, and the comforter is the Holy Spirit, or God with us. Jesus was present at the creation, As he was the “word” that brought about that creation. One cannot exist without the other.
The religion of Mohammad has no answer to the problem of man’s inherited sinfulness. It has no forgiveness of sin, and no blood sacrifice to atone for that sin. It only has the hope that ones good works will out weigh our evil ones. It is only through God’s divine Love that we are able to “fulfill” the Law by obedience with a pure heart. The pharisees of the NT were full of “Good works”, but that did not make their actions “righteous”. Righteousness cannot be obtained by man apart from the grace of God. Good works, and strict legalism do not make a man righteous, only self righteous. Faith is the belief that Christ’s sacrifice on the cross was the fulfillment of the atoning blood sacrifice, Spoken of by Moses. We must merely accept that gift, and his love for us. This is the only way man can find true “salam” (peace). For peace comes with knowing that our sins are forgiven.

People like Pasteur and Salk are leaders in the first sense. People like Gandhi and Confucius, on one hand, and Alexander, Caesar and Hitler on the other, are leaders in the second and perhaps the third sense. Jesus and Buddha belong in the third category alone. Perhaps the greatest leader of all times was Mohammed, who combined all three functions. To a lesser degree, Moses did the same.

John 14:6
‘After me there shall come the Last Prophet, Muhammad bin Abdullah.’
(saw)
“And if any man sin, we have an advocate (parakletos) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” (1 John 2:1)
Here we see that parakletos is a physical and human intercessor. It is significant that Jesus never called himself the last prophet, or even a universal prophet.
Examining each point;
Jesus said the parakletos is a human being:
John 16:13 “He will speak.”
John 16:7 “…for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you.”
It is impossible that the Comforter be the “Holy Ghost” because the Holy Ghost was present long before Jesus and during his ministry.[5]
Does this mean that the Paraclete is not present when Jesus is present? If this is the Holy Spirit, this is confusing. As mention of the Holy Spirit is made before Jesus’ birth, when his aunt Elizabeth is filled with the Holy Spirit. (Luke1:41) Her husband, the Prophet Zechariah is also filled with the Holy Spirit. (Luke 1:67) So the Holy Spirit existed before Jesus was even born. Did it exist while Jesus was in the earth? The Holy Spirit is said to have descended on Jesus in the form of a dove! (Luke 3:22) but above Jesus states that the Paraclete cannot come until he goes. Did the Paraclete depart from Jesus? Did the Prophet of Islam arrive when Jesus was still present? No.
John 16:13 Jesus referred to the paraclete as ‘he’ and not ‘it’ seven times, no other verse in the Bible contains seven masculine pronouns. Therefore, paraclete is a person, not a ghost.
Jesus points specifically to the coming of another prophet after him who would (1) be eminently truthful and trustworthy, (2) teach only what God revealed, and (3) honour Jesus by carrying the prophetic mission on to its logical conclusion.
“But when he, the spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you in all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear (from God) that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine and shall show unto you.” (John 16:13, 14)
Thus, additionally, this coming prophet would not spurn the mission of Jesus, but would recognize it and actually “glorify” Jesus by removing from association with him all the false doctrines with which others surrounded the name.
The Paraclete will glorify Jesus. The Holy Quran clear Jesus of the many charges raised against him: “And for their (Jews) saying, `We did slay the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah;’ whereas they slew him not, nor did they bring about his death upon the cross, but he was made to appear to them like one crucified; and those who differ therein are certainly in a state of doubt about it; they have no certain knowledge thereof…” (4:158)
No.
It is true that the Holy Spirit does abide with the people and in the people forever. Jesus speaks about his followers abiding in him and he abiding in them. (John 15:4), this of course is not to be taken literally, but symbolically. Likewise do Muslims claim that the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (sw) also lives with and in them, his legend lives on, and he is remembered by billions of people to this day.
The new Testament records Jesus as saying:
“Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in god, believe also in me . . . I go to prepare a place for you . . . and I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter (Greek parakleetos), that he may abide with you for ever: even the spirit of truth.” (John 14:1, 16, 17)Jesus says that the prophet who would come after him would be a true messenger commissioned by God who, like Jesus, would possess a heavenly Revelation from God, teaching, not words of his own composition, but whatever God gave him to speak:
If the Holy Spirit was to convince the world of sin and righteousness, what was Jesus doing? Was he not explaining what sin and righteousness was?
The Paraclete would teach all about sin and righteousness, something Jesus was unable to do. This what the Holy Prophet did, as he brought forward a complete and perfect teaching.
hi hymer
I do not think you understand who the holy spirit is, and what jesus meant.
True, the holy spirit has been around since creation and has provided the presence of God among mankind.
But there are also special moments when his presence is much more intense and dramatic, as when he fully envelopes the human spirit and causes the human to prophesy in the name of God, or perform other miracles.
Analogy: this is just to explain the difference between the existence of the holy spirit in the world in general, and the power of his presence.
We are communicating on the internet, so you have a sense of my existence. You have proof that I am here because I write back to you.
But then you were to meet me in person, and my personality or spirit overcame you to such a point that you immediately saw things as I did, and you began to feel a unity with me. You would then speak as I would, and act the same way I would. It would be like I overpowered you.
the holy spirit has been in existence since eternity.
But jesus meant that when he left this earth, that the holy spirit would come and have this powerful influence over us, such that we would speak as jesus speaks, and act as Jesus would act. our personality would be overcome, or submit, to the presence of God.
This is what happened on the feast of Pentecost, 50 days later.
jesus told them to wait in jerusalem until the comforter had come.
This means 2 things.
1. the comforter would meet them in jerusalem
2. to meet him, they would all have to be alive. so it would be in their lifetimes.
Clearly he did not expect them to wait over 500 years for Muhammed, because they would all be dead by then.
this is logic.
Now, many people have been born that glorify Jesus.
But the role of the holy spirit is to bridge the gap in communication between heaven and earth until jesus returns.
that is what he is doing now.
The fact is that before Jesus, Moses had also foretold of a great prophet in clear and precise words. When Moses went to Mount Horeb under the command of God he addressed the Israelites saying:
The Lord thy God will raise unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me, unto him ye shall hearken. (Deuteronomy 18:15)
And again, God’s words to Moses:
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass that, whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. (Deuteronomy 18:18-19)
Say,O Muhammad, I am a man like unto you: Only the word of God come unto me. (The Holy Quran 18: 111)

Moses was predicting Jesus, not Muhammed. Jesus was one of he bretheren, a Jew. Muhammed, although he may have had a distant relationship through Abraham, was not a bretheren. He was an arab, and considered a gentile.
No offence, but Muslims love Jesus as much as Christians do
All Muslims love Jesus not as a God but as one of His prophets. Abraham has been highly placed in Islam and we Muslim prayed for his prosperity in every prayers we did.
We believe in the authentic bible of Jesus but not the one that has been doctored. From that distorted version, many confusion were made to make people become distrustful. God was repeatedly ridiculed and made be like a fake. We Muslim really hope the true biblical scripture were made available for the society to understand. Muhammad name was mentioned in that bible to tell the coming of Islam.
Muslim pray and serve the same God as Jesus did. Jesus said “The most important one,’Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all you strength. Mark 12:28-30
Hymer
You will not convince any Christian who has the Holy Spirit (God) within them to believe that the comforter was a man! Especially a sinful man such as Mohammad. The Jesus you believe in is not the Jesus of the bible, which is a book that has been protected by the Spirit of Truth. Jesus Himself, in his own words proclaimed his divinity. To deny this fact, is to deny Christ and his sacrifice on the cross, which is the final atonement for sin which is needed. To have assurance of salvation, and not just some vague hope of being “good enough”, we need only by faith to believe in the atoning power of his blood.
That power comes from his divinity. He was fully man, and also fully divine. Human sacrifice, as you were so keen to point out is of no value to the forgiveness and healing of sin. In fact it is considered an abomination to sacrifice children, as did many of the early religions of the world. In Judaism, a sacrificial system using animal sacrifice was installed. this however was a foreshadow of the supreme sacrifice of the Creator God would make on our behalf. For without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin. What blood was shed by mohammad for your sins? There is none. They even believe, As you stated, that It was not Jesus who died on the cross. No blood shed= no remission of sin. No remission of sin = condemnation and death. You are welcome to believe this hopeless religion of Islam, and face the condemnation of sin, or you can repent from your ways and believe in Jesus and his sacrifice for sin. This is why Christians were called to preach the Gospel, which literally means “Good news”. Not to preach the hopelessness that is Islam.
I have heard all the arguments which Muslims make regarding the “corruption” of the Bible. They are all weak arguments, and at best false accusations. The dead sea scrolls threw a nice little monkey wrench in those arguments with regard to the Old tesament. The actions and example of the apostles, who witnessed Christ’s divinity first hand, and were willing to die for their beliefs does so with the New Testament. In fact, 99.99% of the New Testament has been verified by way of manuscripts dating to the first and second centuries AD, a time frame when witnesses to the death and crucifiction and resurrection of Christ were still alive. The fact that Christianity has survived this 2000 years is proof in the veracity of this Gospel. Despite the attacks of Satan and his minions, who have persecuted Christianity throughout the centuries.
Your religion of peace, has no true peace, because it offers no forgiveness for sin. They make up for the inadequacy with all forms of “good works”, which are not equivalent to righteousness as set forth in the Bible. For “the righteous shall live by faith”. For salvation is by faith alone through grace alone.
So before you, you have a choice. To believe that your works will save you from eternal condemnation, or that the work of the divine messiah can save you. I have made that choice, and I would be willing to die by that choice if called to. And I am at total peace and assurance of the outcome.
God bless.
I wonder if all those people Muhammad murdered, made slaves of, and raped think he is a lot of comfort.
Hello Mr. Leatherneck
Is Jesus Really God?
“Christ, the son of Mary, was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how God makes His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!” (5:75).
“He [Jesus] said: ‘I am indeed a servant of God. He has given me revelation and made me a prophet; He has made me blessed wheresoever I be; and He has enjoined on me prayer and charity as long as I live. He has made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable. So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)!’ Such was Jesus the son of Mary. It is a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute. It is not befitting to (the majesty of) God that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! When He determines a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is” (19:30-35).
John 14;6,,,Mathew 7;21.(LEATHERNECK)No More Mr.nice guy
“When Jesus came with Clear Signs, he said: ‘Now I have come to you with Wisdom, and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) on which you dispute. Therefore, fear God and obey me. God, He is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him — this is a Straight Way.’ But sects from among themselves fell into disagreement. So woe to the wrongdoers, from the penalty of a Grievous Day!” (43:63-65)

In response to Matt 7:21, Allah is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Therefore I will not submit to him. He is the Moon God.
THis is now the third time that I will pose the question, which you ignore. Without shed blood, there is no remission (forgiveness) of sin, where is the forgiveness of sin in islam?? Without forgiveness of sin, there is no true peace!
Dear Friend •There is no verse what so ever in bible in which God him self say ( YOU HAVE TO DO BLOOD SACRIFICE TO BE FORGIVEN ) this concept of blood offerings was done in the past by people just to come closer to GOD and not necessary means it’s the only way for forgiveness.. More over poor people used give even flour and wheat just to come closer to GOD. This is also recorded in bible. so the sacrifice is not what God wanted but he want the sincere heart that turns to God even if you did no sacrifice .
•There is no verse what so ever in bible in which Jesus says (I came to die for sins of people or unless you accept my blood you wont be saved) . But to the contrary we find so many clear verses on the tongue of Jesus him self and GOD and the old test prophets saying that the way for forgiveness is repentance. lets examine them and see for your self if the Islamic way for forgiveness is consistence with the teachings of GOD.
And we can see Allah in Quran telling us how to argue with non Muslims and one of the ways is by asking them ( bring your proof if you are truthful ) Quran 27-64: but unfortunately many have no proofs nor even worried to look for it , so we had to find them proofs in their books .
Now lets have a look at the Islamic way for forgiveness, its is simple and clear in the below verses :
Quran 20:82 am surely Forgiving for those who repent, believe, lead a righteous life, and steadfastly remain guided.
39:53 O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”
7:153 those who commit sin but then repent afterwards and believe; your Lord after that is Forgiving, Merciful.
42:25 it is He who accepts repentance from his servants and pardons misdeeds, and He knows what you do.
2:160 hose who repent and correct themselves and make evident [what they concealed]. Those I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.
There are so many verses about this subject in Quran to the extend that there is one whole chapter in Quran called Altauba (repentance ) but now let’s go to the bible and compare and see if this Islamic idea is also taught in bible but sad to say the people who believe in bible don’t accept this idea .
Bible Verses with comment :
But go ye and learn what [that] meanest, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Matthew 9:13)
Here Jesus tell us exactly what is the way for forgiveness – its so clear he said it ( I came to call sinners to repentance ) why did not he say I came to call sinners to have faith in my blood – because he never came for this and no need for this God is always merciful to those who repent .
“I desired not sacrifices; I commanded not your fathers, when I stretched forth my hand to bring them out of Egypt, to offer burnt — offerings to me, but only to obey my voice.” Jeremiah 7:21-22
“For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgement of God rather than burnt offerings” (Hosea 6:6);
Here God tell us that these sacrifices of people its not a command from him – its they who did it just to get closer to God – while he really want them to return to him and repent.
To what purpose [is] the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. (Isaiah 1:11)
GOD want our hearts to turn to him – God is merciful — just ask ur self this question – CANT GOD FORGIVE STRAIGHT WITHOUT BLOOD? Can he or cant he? he can of course God is able to forgive – and this is the truth if humans are able to fogive one another without any price for their mercy cant god do this ? even bible confirm this clearly
Matthew 6-12 and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us.
Simple – the bible put the example and show us how God forgive – its same as you forgive the one who sinned against you – if you slapped me then you felt sorry and said please forgive me – then I said ok you are forgiven – I cant say but come here pay the price I have to slap you back !! this is not called forgivness—there is no price for forgiveness – its out of the grace of the person who forgive … God forgive by his grace —you just need to repent to him and be a good person that’s it .
To do justice and judgment [is] more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. (Proverbs 21:3)
And to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” (Mark 12:30-33)
Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams” (I Samuel 15:22)
May ALLAH swt forgive us for our sins
When Moses asked G-d who he was, G-d answered I am that I am. When Jesus was asked if he was the messiah, Jesus said I am.
Jesus made all things new. He is the first human body to live a perfect life. He died for the humans that he loved. Because, he was perfect, G-d the Father raised the word made flesh from the dead, and accepted Christ’s sacrifice for human sin.
I believe in Jesus Christ as my only hope to make it to heaven. I am in the world, but not of the world.
Islam is of the world, and Muhammad brought nothing new to the world. The ruler of this world system, Lucifer and those of the world love Islam. It denies G-d so loved the world he died to save it, and they
worship all types of false gods including the god of the Kaaba.
Good luck to you hymer. While you use human logic to understand G-d, it will not be until you seek G-d the Father in Christ’s name that you will be able to understand your blindness.
The Kaaba is the first house built for the worship of God. It is in Macca. The Kaabah is used as a focal point for prayer only, to unify the Muslims in prayer. Not as an object of worship, Muslims don’t worship the Kaaba nor any object , the God of the Muslims is the unseen, powerful , merciful God who created heavens and earth and sent the messengers such as Abraham , Moses , Jesus , Mohamed ….etc, Peace be upon all of them .
Allah choose Ka’aba as a source of Unity for all the Muslims all over the world. Ka’aba was the First House of Worship to Allah on this planet earth. Adam and Eve were instructed to build Ka’aba. Angel Gabriel was sent by Allah to show them the way and to help them build the Ka’aba.
Muslims all over the world are being blessed by Allah that Ka’aba has become a source of Unity five times a day. It is also a source of Unity during Pilgrimage (Hajj). Ka’aba brings Muslims in their memories with Adam and Eve, and later with Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismail who reconstructed it again.so the kaaba accroding to Muslims was the FIRST house of worship built by Adam and rebuilt by Abraham:
“Verily, the first house (of worship) appointed for mankind was that in Bakka (Mecca), full of blessing, and guidance for all people.” Qur’an 3:96
According to bible : Bakka is mentioned by the prophet David (PBUH) in psalms :
“Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well, the rain also filleth the pools.” (Psalm 84:6)
Abraham was never close to the kaaba, and did not build it. Also, Adam was prior to the flood. Did the kaaba withtand the flood of Noah?
Mecca house of worship is a pagan shrine to 360 gods. The black rock at zero point can not take away sin.
Have you read a history book on the Kaaba, or just been told what to believe?

You need only read the words of Jesus himself in mattwew 26:28.
Or Ephesians 1:7 or how he is called the “Lamb of God” by John the Baptist. I will not even bother to comment on the rest of the scripture you took out of context, especially Mark 12:30-33. Perhaps you should read verse 34. Jesus said to the scribe who wisely answered regarding the law, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God”. So I will say that to you as well. You have answered wisely with regard to repentence, and but your beliefs are not quite enough to gain entry into God’s kingdom. For apart from the shed blood of Christ, there is no remission of sin.

hi hymer
Read Exodus 29. The entire chapter is instructions on atonement and forgiveness through the blood sacrifices of animals. Leviticus repeats the instructions.
http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible.cfm?b=Exd&c=29&t=KJV#33
The day of atonement was a day of repentance. Repentance was always required, but so was the blood sacrifice to accompany the repentance. The death of the animal was to remind the sinner of his own death that should have occurred due to his sin.
This blood atonement was only temporary, as it had to be made for each sin committed, and every time a sin was committed, it had to be repeated. The offering was not just for socializing with God.
All sin was punishable by death, and only a blood sacrifice would evade the death punishment. Also, the blood of animals was not an adequate substitute for the blood of sinners who needed punishment. God wanted more than just an apology.
Jesus made this method of blood atonement obsolete by offering himself as a pure sacrifice. Since he was sinless, his self sacrifice was acceptable to the Father. His covenant was to make atonement for all mankind, to achieve the Father’s forgiveness.
Jesus also said the night before his death:
The verses you quoted about mercy instead of sacrifice has o be understood in context. The people had offered sacrifices but were not sorry for their sins, and continued to sin. They were also mean. So God said he had preferred repentance and mercy instead of sacrifices and cruel behavior.
Assalamu Alaykum (‘peace be unto you’).
Dear Marianne
Islam is not a new Religion started by the Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) around 1400 years ago.It is the same truth proclaimed by all the Prophets who came before him, right from the time of Adam.Muslims believe in all the Prophets like (to name a few)Abraham,Moses and Jesus(peace be upon them all) and the divine revelations like the Torah(Jewish Holy Book) and the Bible(Christian Holy Book). But these books have been interpolated by so-called “saints” or “holy men” over a period of time to suit their whims and fancies for example, Pork is prohibited in the Torah and the Bible but these have been iterpolated and made into acceptable things over a period of time.

The Holy Qur’an clearly states-
This Qur’an is not such as can be produced by other than God; On the Contrary it is a Confirmation of (Revelation) that went before it. And a fuller explanation of the Book Wherein there is no doubt from the Lord of the Worlds. Holy Qur’an (Chapter 10, Verse 37)

I understand the religion fairly well. And I understand your sincere belief in it. I am just responding to the quotes from the bible.
That the bible was changed according to whim is not represented by evidence. It is just speculation. My experience with the bible is that it is very accurate.
My approach to prophetic truth in general is that if something is true, it will happen.
So I suggest to everyone to keep their eyes open to world events and watch. If they see something that requires them to change their thinking, then they should prepare to change their mind. If the event agrees with their prophecy, then it is established.
One main exception is that satan is here to deceive mankind. So we cannot believe everything we see or hear, and should question it and look to see if it is from god, or not.

18 Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. 19 Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.
20 When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?” they asked.
21 Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. 22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

In the Passion narratives, did Jesus carry his own cross or not?
Mark 15:21, Matthew 27:32, Luke 23:26 – Jesus gets help from Simon of Cyrene
John 19:17 – Jesus carries his own cross the whole way
Jesus is given something to drink while he is on the cross, but what?
Mark 15:23 – Jesus is given wine mixed with myrrh, but he doesn’t drink
Matthew 27:48, Luke 23:36 – Jesus is given vinegar, but he doesn’t drink
John 19:29-30 – Jesus is given vinegar and he drinks
Romans supposedly witnessed Jesus’ crucifixion, but what did they think?
Mark 15:39 – A centurion is cited as saying: “Truly this man was the son of God!”
Matthew 27:54 – A centurion is cited as saying: “Truly this was the son of God.”
Luke 23:47 – A centurion is cited as saying: “Truly this man was innocent.”
John – No centurions say anything
Mark 15:34-37, Matthew 27:46-50 – Jesus says: “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” — Matthew uses “Eli” and Mark uses “Eloi”)
Luke 23:46 – Jesus says: “Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit.”
John 19:30 – Jesus says: “It is finished.”
Im talking about Mathew, Mark,Luke and John. Each write different Bibles about Jesus. One of them states Jesus was ready to die for us on the cross then the other states Jesus was scared. They all Verse each other with different words.
And you still believe in it?
yes…see below for my answer where there is more room.
In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
There is no other god beside GOD
[7:187] They ask you about the end of the world (the Hour),* and when it will come to pass. Say, “The knowledge thereof is with my Lord. Only He reveals its time.* Heavy it is, in the heavens and the earth. It will not come to you except suddenly.”** They ask you as if you are in control thereof. Say, “The knowledge thereof is with GOD,” but most people do not know.
Messengers Are Powerless; They Do Not Know the Future.
[7:188] Say, “I have no power to benefit myself, or harm myself. Only what GOD wills happens to me. If I knew the future, I would have increased my wealth, and no harm would have afflicted me. I am no more than a warner, and a bearer of good news for those who believe.”
10:38 Or do they say, “He forged it”? say: “Bring then a Sura like unto it, and call (to your aid) anyone you can besides Allah, if it be ye speak the truth!”
57:16 Has not the Time arrived for the Believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the remembrance of Allah and of the Truth which has been revealed (to them), and that they should not become like those to whom was given Revelation aforetime, but long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard? For many among them are rebellious transgressors.

“Truly, truly I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my (Jesus) name, he will give it to you.”(John 16:23) So are you praying in Jesus name or in mohammad’s? Are you praying to Allah or Yahweh? Are you praying to the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, or the god of Ishmael? Was Jesus a Jew, and a decendent of Isaac and Israel (Jacob), or a decendent of Ishmael? His Father, therefore is the God of Isaac and Jacob, and not the god of Ishmael. Isaac was the child and heir of promise, Ishmael was not.
As for “changes” in the bible, The quran has been changed by Imams like a chamelion in a paint store. If you do not believe in the Holy Spirit and its ability to protect the Word of God, then how can you trust the quran is accurate? As I said, 99.99% of the NT has been corroborated by texts dating back to the first and second century. Much of it has also been attested to by multiple sources. If you were a late first and early second century Christian, (which is the time you are claiming the Bible was altered), would you willingly suffer persecution and Martyrdom for that lie, as did Polycarp, A leader in the church of Smyrna? Remember this is the church that was Spoken of by John in revalation. And Polycarp was “faithful unto death”. Or how about the testimony of Stephen (The Martyr in Acts) Who called out “Lord Jesus receive my spirit” upon his death. He knew the testimony of Jesus to be true, as he was a witness to the events, and had no bible to read. What he had was the comforter, the Holy Spirit, of which he had his fill (Acts 6:5).
You will see in acts that ALL the apostles, preached the death burial and resurection of Jesus, and they died for that belief. They preached the blood sacrifice on the cross everytime they celebrated the bread and the cup of the new covenent. And they all died for their beliefs, knowing what was true. That the power of the blood was in Jesus divinity. For in his blood is the power to forgive our sins.

Hymer,
If I could add one thing to Marianne’s reply to you above.
When Yeshua called out “My God, my God, why has thou forsaken me? and in Matthew it is recorded as saying “Eli”, that would be Hebrew, where “Elio”, (as recorded in Mark), would be the Syro-Chaldaic, or Aramaic, (the common language that was used by the Jews at the time). They both express the same thing.
What is more important though, is that Yeshua said it at all. For it wasn’t necessarily a cry of fear.
All of the Jews of the day knew all of the scripture of Tanakh by heart, so with those that heard Yeshua say these words, they would automatically recall the 22 Psalm. They would then realize, that this prophetic Psalm is now being fulfilled right before their eyes, just as it had been written hundreds of years beforehand.
As discussed earlier, the Quran clearly affirms that Jesus was a prophet, as well as the fact that he was no more than that. Prophets are indeed the best of creation. They are those whom God chooses to receive His revelation, yet at the same time, they are mere emissaries of God and do not deserve to receive worship. Jesus, as mentioned in the Quran, is no different than any of them in this respect.
Throughout the Quran, Jesus is identified fundamentally as a prophet of God sent to the Jews who had over time deviated from the teachings of Moses and other messengers.
“And (remember) when Jesus, son of Mary, said: ‘O Children of Israel, I am the Messenger of God sent to you, confirming the Torah (which came) before me…’” (Quran 61:6)
Jesus Christ, the son of Mary, was the last in the line of Jewish prophets. He lived according to the Torah, the Law of Moses, and taught his followers to do likewise. In Matthew 5:17-18, Jesus stated:
“Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the (way of) the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfill them.”
In this aspect, he and his message was no different than the previous prophets chosen by God, who all called to the worship of God and God alone, as well as to obedience to His commandments. As he was miraculously supported by God in his conception, birth, and childhood, he was also supported by numerous miracles to prove that he was a messenger from God. However, the majority of the Jews rejected his prophethood.
Not only did Jesus affirm the scriptures revealed before him, but he also foretold of another prophet to come after him. God says:
“And when Jesus, son of Mary, said: ‘O Children of Israel! Indeed I am the messenger of God unto you, confirming that which was (revealed) before me in the Torah, and bringing good tidings of a messenger who will come after me, whose name is the Praised One.’” (Quran 61:6)
This fact is also mentioned in the New Testament. Careful study shows that Jesus, peace be upon him, refers to the same prophet in John 14:16-17:
“And I will give you another Counselor (the Prophet Muhammad, may God praise him), to be with you forever, even the Spirit of Truth.”
(to be continued…InshahAllah)
Hymer
John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth, WHOM THE WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, BECAUSE IT NEITHER SEES HIM NOR KNOWS HIM. You (apostles) know him, For he DWELLS WITH YOU (in the form of Jesus, One part of the triune God) and will BE IN YOU (future, In Spirit).” (Emphasis and parenthesis mine)
Mohammad is known by the world, He was seen by the world, he was received by a large part of the world, He does not dwell with you currently and he is not “IN YOU”. Therefore Mohammad does not equate with the “comforter”. Five negatives do not add up to a positive. Your logic is flawed.
Sorry try again.
OK Hymer, we get it. You have chosen to believe Jesus was just a prophet, and not the son of G-d called the word made flesh. Also, you have chosen to follow a man named Muhammad who raped, and murdered.
Did I miss anything?
We do not know exactly the original Aramaic word that Jesus used for the Comforter. Other Bibles use Consoler, Advocate, Helper, and in Greek Bibles the word is Baraclete. There are different explanations for the Comforter: the Holy Ghost, the Word, a person, etc. In John 14:18, Jesus said: “I will not leave you comfortless.” This means that he referred to himself as Comforter. However, in John 14:26, the Comforter is referred to as the Holy Ghost! And Christian preachers assure their audience that the comforter is the Holy Ghost, without any mention to the following references from John 15:26: “…he shall testify of me.”
John 16:7-8 “…It is expedient for you that I go away, for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:”
John 16:13-14 “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth, for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”
Does the above descriptions fit the Holy Ghost, spirit, or a person? The comforter is described as to be able to hear and speak; does this fit a spirit or a person? Did a deliberate adaptation of the Bible add a few words here and there to alter the intended meanings that predicted the advent of a prophet after Jesus? Was the Holy Ghost absent when Jesus was on Earth, and it was waiting for him to depart, so it can guide the believers? Without any prejudice, one can honestly conclude that Jesus was talking about a prophet that will establish righteousness and Judgment. This is what Muhammad accomplished: righteousness and Judgment, faith and law.
Whatever the explanation is for the Comforter, we conclude that Jesus left unfinished work and that someone was coming to complete his mission.
dear Naz
At first I thought you had it right, then you went haywire.
The holy spirit DOES testify of Jesus. he is the comforter. He does speak and hear. Muslims do not know this, because they have no relationship with him.
The holy spirit speaks to me every day. And he does his job of glorifying Jesus to mankind’s hearts.
Jesus finished what he came to do. He said on the cross, “It is finished.” He did not say “This will be continued.”
Jesus also told the apostles to wait in Jerusalem for the comforter.
Act 1:4 And, being assembled together with [them], [Jesus] commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, [saith he], ye have heard of me.
The holy spirit came 50 days later on Pentecost.
This is called the baptism of the holy spirit, or the baptism of fire.
Jesus would have never told them to wait, if he was expecting a person to show up 500 years later. None of the followers could have lived that long.
The job of the holy spirit was to give the power to witness about Jesus to the ends of the earth, and give them the words to say.
Muhammed never received the holy spirit baptism. And while he mentions Jesus in the Quran, he did not spend all his time glorifying Jesus. In fact, he got the name of Jesus wrong, and called him Isa, which was the name of someone else. He also demoted Jesus from being the son of God to just a mere prophet. This is not glorifying him.
THere is also nothing comforting about Muhammed. He was a war lord, and spent most of his time killing people and forcing his views on them, under threat of death. He also had sex with a child, which does not glorify God at all, and breaks the commandments of God against impurity and lust.
Muhammad who murdered, and raped, did not do anything but bring a different version of an already existing pagan religion. It is called moon god worship, or the god of the Kaaba. One of 360 gods that were there.
That is why Muhammad did not have to explain who the god was. Everyone knew who it was.
The god is greatest. Greatest of what? Greatest of all other gods at the Kaaba. The kaaba which Abrahm was never close to, nor build. Also, the black rock can not take away sin.
Do you think Muhammad comforted a seven year old wife, then raped her at nine? What kind of comfort is that?
Islam is d opposite of d truth in d bible. Muhameed is not 4rm God. D holy spirit is d comforter. D bible says that any sin against d holy spirit can not be forgiven. Watch your tongues children
Why did Christianity take on so many pagan beliefs?
First off, I am a Christian. But I started to question it and look into what I was actually believing. These are questions…
I was looking at the trinity and found out that it wasn’t until 300 years later after Jesus died that Christians started calling Jesus God. How did the Nicea council come to this conclusion when no where in the Bible Jesus calls himself God?
Why did we adopt the belief Jesus was born on Dec 25th when we have no evidence of this? Did Mithriasm have this date first and Christians adopt it to help convert the pagans?
Why do we say the Resurrection of Jesus was on Easter but that day is a pagan holiday. Did we also use this date to convert pagans easily?
Did paul, known for prosecuting Christians and openly admitting it and also being a pagan too, think of it as some kind of joke to mess around with Christianity and get Christians to believe in a false god or did he really want to be a Christianr and God really did speak with him? (Paul wrote most of the new testament)
I am sure there are more pagan beliefs that have found their way into Christianity. Were these pagan beliefs adopted so Christians could convert pagans?
Again these are real questions, I am just questioning my beliefs.
hi matthew
Jesus and Christianity and the gospel message is real. You just have to go back to the bible to find it.
How Christianity got paganized and twisted up is a tragedy, and was predicted long ago by Jesus…that there would be a great falling away, that “another Jesus” would be preached…..so all along, there has only been a remnant that was true in their beliefs. It is this remnant that jesus is returning for. Constantine paganized the faith to make it appealing to his followers, and to help unite his empire under one faith.
Do not give up on your faith. Go back to the truth of the bible and read it for yourself. Do not accept any package of religion. What jesus taught was truth and holiness, repentance and salvation. We cannot come before a holy God in sin, and so we need to examine ourselves in the light of God’s teachings.
Jesus did say he was both the son of man, and the son of God, but you have to understand what he meant, and how this ties into the oneness of God. the way he meant it, there is no contradiction with this oneness.
Dear Matthew,
how are you? Hope all is well with you.
I read your comment and wondered what type of Christian you are? What is your definition of Christian?
I can see that you raised questions which are generally raised by Muslims from their ignorance and lack of courage to investigate the issue.
1. Who told you that Trinity was invented in council of Nicea?
2. Did you ever investigated about how 25th December was adopted? Do you know that no Christian who has little depth in his faith celebrates Christmas as tradition? Do you know that you are free NOT to celebrate Christmas?
3. It is quite interesting that you think St Paul was a pagan. Kindly do proper research before making such comments. It shows your lack of knowledge and raises no question whatsoever.
4. Do you want to say that St Paul was invoking name of Jesus and people were healed by that name is not pointing to something? Have you ever read St Paul’s words and studied them or just blabbering?
5. You mentioned Mithra. Are you also suggesting that as Quran mentions virgin birth of Isa Masih, Islam also have pagan influence?
Brother, your questions are not real. The real question is have you explored the topics with honest and unbiased heart and open mind so that you can embrace the truth?
For your information, I am a muslim.
Peace
For Christ say “Seek the truth and the truth shall set u free”. A word is enough for the Christians…
Indeed… Jesus said, “I am the truth.”
Seek the truth and truth will set you free… a blessing from God.
Jesus states in the Sermon on the Mount, in Matthew 7:
21 “Not everyone who says to me, `Lord, Lord,’
will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but only he who does the will of my Father
who is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me on that day,
`Lord, Lord, did we not
prophesy in your name,
and in your name drive out demons
and perform many miracles?’
23 Then I will tell them plainly,
`I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”
It would be good if we all examined our motives, to make sure this is not true of ourselves. thanks.
Salam,
Most people do not care to check the context. Kindly read from Mathew 7.15 onwards.
Matthew 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
And Jesus reject these wolves in v23.
Have a nice day…

I think Christ’s blood has power to save anyone, including a Muslim.
Muslim mainly reject Jesus as literal son of God. To that, we Christians can agree. Jesus was not literally son of God but he was Son of God (a title). All English translations use capitalisation for Son, Son of God, Son of Man, Father etc.
We need to make this point very clear to Muslims. But I see that we try to prove Jesus was a son of God. We are so afraid to accept that Jesus was a man.
We miss the fact that with Muslims we need to start with ONE GOD and lead them to prophesied Messiah, prophet Jesus. When they study and learn more about Jesus, they will realise that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of Most Holy. We can see such progression of knowledge among apostles, too.
We also forget that the thief who died with Jesus was promised paradise. Now, can we say that that thief knew Christian dogmas and doctrines??? It is simple faith and pleading from heart granted him the paradise. Not even baptism which is outward sign of inward work of God.
Is it not surprising that Pharisees were left behind when common people accepted Christ and entered paradise? We Christians have entangled ourselves like Pharisees in complex doctrines.
There is no surprise that Muslims reject such complexity and embrace simple Islamic faith of total trust in Allah for forgiveness of sins.
Jesus’ blood can save all, but we are not carrying the simple gospel but heavy doctrines!
Peace…
dear Truth
I agree. We should start out with common ground, and then explain simply from there, rather than giving complex doctrines.
Truth,
I respect your honesty in your approach. With that in mind, I would like to ask you a couple of honest questions.
What happens if Knowing Jesus as found in Matthew 7:15, and onwards is based on realizing that he is our Master (God)?
I am not saying this for hostility, or for doctrine, but rather from relationship. I know Muslims have a problem with the trinity, and I would like to express it in a different way to you, and see what you think? Mathematically the Muslims see the trinity as 1+1+1=3. This contradicts the fact that there can only be one God. What happens if instead of adding, we state it as follows: 1x1x1=1 1/1=1 God the father is fully God, Jesus the Son is fully God, The Holy Spirit is fully God. When together, they are one God, when Distinct they are one God. I know Jesus as Lord, the Apostles all confessed Jesus as Lord in their writings. The word Lord in Greek is KYRIOS, which means Master. Jesus said we cannot serve two masters. When Thomas Said to Jesus, “My Lord and My God” he was not serving two masters, but One. The Error we Humans make is that we Add and subtract God, when he Multiplies and divides. This may seem like doctrine to you, But to me it is Knowing Jesus, and his Love. His death on the cross was perfect love. And God IS Love. I think You will see that expressed mathematically, the trinity is not a complex doctrine, but a simple equation.
God Bless.
i agree. We should not condemn other faiths, but provide a holy witness to them, to help them receive salvation.
Jesus was a man and God.
Most Christians do not realise/discern this simple truth and indulge in complex doctrine. Most people do not need it.
When we declare (actually the Bible does) Jesus as man, we show that we truly understand God’s plan for our salvation. If Jesus is not man then he can’t be the Christ, the king of the kingdom of God. Thereby Jesus cannot invite us into the kingdom of God forever and be the path of our salvation.
good video
thank you
Hi Dru,
There is nothing wrong to project Jesus as the master but how can you raise human master to God’s level? We differentiate God as the Master and a human as a master.
The Bible teaches about Christ, the king who has the authority to allow someone to enter God’s kingdom. Based on that those who accept Christ and are permitted into kingdom of God, are no longer citizen of this world but citizen of kingdom of God. So they will not be judged with the world on the judgment day and will enter paradise.
As you can see that this teaching does not have any complex doctrine of atonement but a simple to understand story. Here you make faith in Jesus essential for entering paradise even without raising Him to God’s level.
Matthew 7:21-23 is actually used by Muslims to warn Christians for believing false things taught by false prophets. In fact, we have to tell them to refer Mat 7.15 and read everything in context. I do not see how can you use these verses to project Jesus as the Master (not the master)?
Now when you say 1x1x1 then you are creating a confusion. It gives an impression that there are three gods but they are one God. Actually when Muslims say, “1+1+1=1?” then I generally reply by saying, “That is wrong Math and Christians do not teach such. So i can’t argue on that but tell me 1+1=10 is true or false?” I add that I can prove 1+1=10.
Almost all Muslims say that 1+1=10 is false. So I tell them, “It is a true statement and in binary 1+1=10 where 10 is representing two. We need to learn binary and grow in knowledge to find seemingly illogical statement 1+1=10 as true, same way we need to learn and grow in knowledge to understand trinity means one God. With your current knowledge you cannot understand trinity just like you failed to understand 1+1=10. Trinity is totally logical and understandable if YOU learn and grow in knowledge.”
It is sad that most Muslims do not choose to grow in knowledge and remain away from the light of truth. Muslims are blinded by Islam and even simple illustrations cannot help them. We simply have to present the gospel and just pray for them…
