Charismatic Witchcraft

Witchcraft is the control of others, imposing one’s will upon them, usually for a negative result. It is bondage to the victim. Are you a victim?

  1. The Wiccan Rede specifically states, “Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill, An it HARM NONE, do what ye will. What you send forth comes back to the so ever mind the law of three”. I agree there are ‘black witches out there who do try to manipulate others with magick, but it is unfair to JUDGE all witches because of this. A white witch believes strongly in “Harm None” and will not, under any circumstances cast on anyone without their permission. We do not believe in love spells even because this is manipulating others will. Every spell I cast ends with “for the good of all and to harm none. The earth is our church, nature is our God and we believe in respecting it as should be done by all. I’m offended by your accusations. Being a Christian, aren’t you taught to judge no one, that is up to your Maker.

  2. HI Amy,

I understand good intent. There is no intent to offend here, and the article is specifically about those who intend to do harm, not those who just feel some bond with nature, or want to use herbs for medicine.

This article is about those who put others in bondage. If you do not do that, then this article is not about you. I had a friend 30 years ago who considered herself a white witch. She was a nice person. But my path is Christian, and my articles are about what my faith teaches.

But a spell is cast to control someone. This would take away their free will, which is harming them. White witchcraft does not ALWAYS ask permission. Suppose you are breaking the spell of someone else. DO you ask their permission? So control is still control.

A christian does have the right to judge, if it is righteous judgment. They are only criticized in scripture if they judge someone of error, when they are guilty of the same thing.

The reason we are given this right is for our own self protection. If we cannot discern (judge) that someone will harm us, then we will become a victim. We have a right to know about this harm, and prepare ourselves against it.

    I wish you well.
