  1. Dear Marianne,

One of things I love so much about Simon Peter besides that he is the little rock translated and was given the keys to the kingdom.

When Jesus told Peter he prayed for him, as satan wanted to sift him like wheat. Luke 22:31-32 Jesus said he prayed that he fail not. Why do you suppose the enemy wanted to sift him, or Job or any of us?

When we are weak, the word says in; 2 Corinthians 12:10 “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

So I believe Jesus said to Simon Peter the things he said, regarding his love and feeding his sheep, to plant with in him or to leave with him this healing in the words of his questions.

Oddly enough it isn’t things said to you always at the moment they happen but it is the words that God sent to you earlier. The words some times came at another time, or were learned at another time but needed at the later time. All most like a seed going into the ground and waiting for the latter rain to have the life expectancy God gives in his promises. One being he will never leave us nor forsake us and secondly he is no respecter of persons. In other words the thing he did for Simon Peter to pray for him knowing satan had already ask or made it known to want to sift him and Jesus knowing the evilness of him. I believe he prayed for all who would go through persecution. He has finished everything, even preparing our way before it came. He said he would make away of escape. In the Old Testament God said he knows all of the enemies tricks, there is nothing new.

The Lord knew what Peter would go through, he knew he would be hung on the cross. I think he is the Apostle who asks to be hung upside down, he said because he was unworthy. What an example for all of mankind.

I believe Peter had a special favor with our Lord, because why did the Lord give him the keys to the kingdom of Heaven, why is his name translated as the little rock.

I don’t mean to imply that God loves one more then the other, but it is like a parent if you have 2 kids or 4 kids you love each and not one more than the other but there are things that set each apart. And yet all Apostles were special and without the sacrifices made by
them Christian faith wouldn’t have continued.

The Bible also says he will not do for one what he has not done for another. So when we realize we are in a place of thinking incorrectly according to the word. If we pray for help the same help will be given as our Jesus already did it. I believe as Jesus said upon the cross it is finished which means he did everything that we needed all we have to do is access it by prayer and trust believing knowing he did it all and paid it all.

  2. LOVE, LOVING is the LOVE that has no ending, it is the LOVE that never dies, it is the LOVE that never fades away. LOVE is being totally committed to our LORD, our wives, our husbands. LOVE is unchangeable, inseparable. 1 COR.13 (The socalled unlucky number) teaches us the Pre Eminence of LOVE. To be bonded together in LOVE is the expression of the LOVE of YAHWEH which is the witness of the true ECCLESIA. “Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” This is what true LOVE does even before marriage.
