Abide in the Lord…..How does that work?
–
We must understand that Jesus / Yeshua is called the Word of God because the Word of the Father God is in Him.
The Father is the source.

He who that does not love me does not keep not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. |
–
The only way to the Father is through Jesus.
This is because the spirit of the Father is in Jesus, and the spirit of Jesus is in the Father.
Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me.. John 14:10-11
But it can go further than that. We can share in this “in-ness”.
The command is to abide in Jesus / Yeshua, who abides in the Father.
At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. John 14: 20
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. John 15: 3
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. John 15: 4
Without the Spirit of God the Father, and Jesus who carries his Word and spirit, we cannot be happy.

This is how we receive the spirit of God and his Word:
1. We abide in Jesus, who has the Spirit of the Father, and he abides in us.
When we abide in Him, we receive everything He has, as a baby receives from its mother.
When He abides in us, He gives us the spirit of the Father.

2. Over time, the presence of God grows in us and we become more like Jesus, who has already has the spirit of the Father.

3. Finally, this will all continue, if we are obedient and abide in the presence of Jesus and the Word of God, until we go to heaven.
There we will all be the same in the holy spirit of God the Father.

This is the promise:
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;
[Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither know him: but ye know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14: 16-18

And obedience to the Word is the condition:
If you love me, keep my commandments John 14: 15
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. John 15:10

I would agree fully that we are to keep His commandments, because Yeshua only spoke what He was told to speak by Father God.
John 12:49,50.;
“For I have not spoken on My own [authority]; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”
John 14:24.;
“He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.”
John 17:8.;
“For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received [them], and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.”
Above within the post there is a heading which reads, “And Obedience to the Word is the Condition”, where then John 14:15. and John 15:10. is quoted.
John 14:15.;
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
And John 15:10.;
“If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.”
Therefore within the same discussion, Yeshua told His disciples three (3) times what “the commandment was that they were supposed to keep”.
In John 13:34,35.;
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
In the same conversation in John 15:12.;
“This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.”
And just to drive the point home again in John 15:17.;
“These things I command you, that ye love one another.”
Therefore to be a disciple of Yeshua, “We love one another as He has loved us” and these are the Commandments He is talking about in John.
If you love Him, You will keep these Commandments.
If you keep “love for one another”, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.”
Nuff said.
Yeshua is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Abide in Him and Him alone.
Praise be unto Yeshua and the Royal Law.
James 2:8.;
“If you really fulfill [the] royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself,” you do well;”

God is saying Let their be Light
EPH 4:28-33 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30. And GRIEVE NOT the HOLY SPIRIT of God, whereby YE ARE SEALED unto the day of redemption.
31. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
BEING SEALED – Only the Holy Ghost can get you off the 4 Horses of Death, Hell, and the Grave. Its by Christ redemption plan. We grieve HIM – Please notice – the things we Overcome in verses 28 -29 – 31-32
I PETER 2:4- ¶ To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but CHOSEN of God, and precious,
5. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a “spiritual house“, an “holy priesthood“, to offer up “spiritual sacrifices“, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

12. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

The Bride is the “Light of the World” — City set on a Hill cannot be hid —– On day of Pentecost the Light and fire of God set upon each believer – the great Light that gave Utterance – It was the Spirit that gave them Utterance and Light, Acts 2:4 —Light is Spiritual understanding.
LIGHT DEFINED IN OTHER SCRIPTURES – very interesting
Utterance defined takes you to — 5457 phos foce} (to shine or make manifest, especially by rays, compare 5316, 5346); The light and utterance “come down” to 120 believers on Pentecost.

REVELATION 18:23- And the LIGHT of a CANDLE shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
REVELATION 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain
upon the earth. The Above is the Babylon church of our day –
REV 21:24-26 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the LIGHT of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. —
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
The Holy Ghost is the SUN of righteousness In Mal. 4. With healing in its wings.
REV. 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither Light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them LIGHT : and they shall reign for ever and ever.
SAVED THE BEST FOR THE LAST
REVELATION 16:17- And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great VOICE out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, IT IS DONE .
Voice is the same word as utterance – a Voice as in Pentecost – starts with utterance and then right into all the Above of light. All the same
The Light of God came in Rev. 11:15
REV. 11:15- And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great — VOICES in heaven, — saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
VOICES saying the Kingdoms of this world have become the Kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ = Christ is the Bride that is full of light for their hour —– God is looking for truth Voices in this world.

Dear Last Post – All men will be accounted for what they have done in this life. Not just a teacher or the 5 fold ministry. Every believer should be a light and minister to the calling that they were called in.
Every believer will have to give an account to their sin which is =unbelief. Unbelief that will not study to show their selves approved workman righty dividing the word of God. That is to all believers a command. Maybe you will not listen to a prophet or teacher then that will be against you. God put the light in all of us and we are expected to let it shine and get brighter as we walk this walk not bury it in the Ground . Sorry to see you go but as far as I know I have never talked to you. But Lord bless you in all your endeavor’s is my prayer. And so hope you find the great supernatural things that are in the Bible. But we all have to pay a price just a Jesus did to see them.

I think each person has their own unique contribution. and light too.
All of those love commandments by john the Evangelist mean so much to me. We are washed in love. Thanks to the Father and thanks to Marianne for reminding us.
I had a blessed weekend, went to a place I would not ordinarily attend, Grace Vineyard Church here. The visiting preacher (all weekend, many hours, attended half of it) emphasized that we were to be the love of Jesus. People claimed they were healed and reconciled and relaxed from tension. This message was very good. I know the Vineyard has produced some far out things in the past, which the speaker brought up and acknowledged. And they have the Kingdom Now message, but I don’t think the speaker would deny the rapture will come.
UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF HASHEM FIRST
In the time of Enosh they made a great mistake, they erred in the concept of Hashem. The only man to arrive at the true concept of Hashem was Avraham through his intellect and rational. Even Bilaam agreed with Avraham and Moshe. The Tanach in several places declares what Hashem is not and it is through these negations that one may begin to arrive at a correct concept of Hashem. The difficulty is that most people have is that they view Hashem as a “superman,” where if something is impossible for Him this is a weakness on the part of Hashem. The truth is that being limited is not a weakness, it is actually a perfection, not a flaw. The impossible matters, such as Hashem creating a square that is also a circle at the same moment. If it is a square it can not be a circle, two opposite properties. Likewise, it is impossible that Hashem should produce a being like Himself or annihilate, corporify [tangible body] or change Himself.
Concept of Hashem from the Torah:
You can not liken Me to any equal nor can you attribute [assign] any equal to Me that we should seem like one. No human can obtain My knowledge nor can man see My shape and form. I do not have any form of a man or women. I do not get tired or weary and you can not calculate My knowledge. I am not a man nor a son of man, I do not sin or repent for I am not a human that needs to repent. I am the first and the last, there is no god with Me, I am One and I do not give My glory to another nor My praises to human sacrifices or idols. I am the One who wipes away the willful sins of man for My sake and keep them hidden. There is no righteous god besides Me nor any savior other than Me. I will not cede [yield-transfer] My glory to anyone, for My laws can not be removed from before Me, I do not change. Even though I conceal Myself, I am the Hashem of Israel and there is no savior other than Me. I speak to men in dreams and riddles, but My servant Moshe I spoke to him in clear visions and not with riddles. I am Hashem, G-d of all flesh, I only I am He who comforts you, I am Hashem there is no other, I am Hashem and there is no one like Me.

Great post M, some good comments, as with man we all do not agree with our understanding of the Gospel but that is how God made us all. You know a fellow believer by how they live. Have they been changed? does the Spirit of God live in them. Just because a group of people come to the front of the church and say, “I believe in Jesus” means nothing unless we see a change in their lives and they seek and follow Jesus. The Holy Spirit is given to those who obey God (Acts 5:32). Without the Holy Spirit you can not get into heaven (Rom 8:16).

Without the infilling of the Spirit – There will be no – Guide you into all Truth. As Jesus said. That is a evidence – Notice I said “a” After Disciples received the Fire and Spirit – then remembrance of the word that Jesus Spoke came into them. They crossed over the veil of Time and into Eternity. Living in another dimension all together. Not afraid of death, had a clearer understanding, had power to heal even with just their shadow at times. They could discern right from wrong, and darkness from Light. And they all agreed to not serve tables but lets get into the “Word of God” continually.
Not afraid to lay down their life for Jesus Christ – They knew He raised, And Acts 2 – they knew He lived in them as well. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What else can Christ do for mankind. He broke open their Seals of “sin and death”and put them in Heavenly places IN CHRIST –

I am 21 years old. My relationship with got started in 2011. My faith is very public and I am not ashamed to admit that Jesus is my savior. even my family ask me if I was being obsessive over Jesus…. i know in my heart i love jesus but the only issue I am having is i cant stop sinning and staying obedient to God. i cant stop my lifestyle and its been this way for 2 years… I want God to take control over my life but i know I have to be obedient. Can you please pray for me.
