Birds Do Not Sow

How does  your value compare to them?

Matthew 6:26

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not of more value than them? 

This is proof that sowing and reaping is not directly connected to blessing. 

This contrasts with teaching of prosperity preachers, who claim people are not blessed enough because they do not sow enough to the church, or to the personal preacher. They never tell you to give to the poor. They are the recipients of your sowing, not YHVH God in most cases.

Matthew 6 shows that birds in the air do not sow or reap, yet the Father YHVH God still provides for them.

So it should be with people as well, and you should not have to sow money to the church to get a blessing from YHVH God. This is the first interpretation.

According to Yeshua, Jesus, sowing and reaping is a spiritual concept, which is patterned after the natural concept.

The second interpretation of sowing and reaping refers to sowing the word of God, in order to reap a harvest of Souls. It has nothing to do with money.

The seed is the word of God.
