    • I think David Wilkersons death was a turning point and every word from his mouth should be taken to heart. I believe this man to be a true disciple of Christ Jesus. It will all come together just like he said.

      • HI darla

I agree. This is one reason I dedicated a page to him. True, wise, untainted men of God are a precious gem, to be appreciated.

I all seems to be coming together quickly now. I pray we are all ready.

GOD HAS EMERGENCY PLANS FOR EVERY BELIEVER

No matter how unsettled the world becomes, God’s people can relax and keep
their joy flowing, because our Lord has promised special protection when it is
    most needed.

Didn’t God have an emergency plan for the children of Israel during the
worldwide famine? He sent Joseph ahead to Egypt, promoted him to prime minister
and filled the warehouses with enough grain to last out the famine. He then
transported his people within walking distance of those storehouses and fed
them to the full all through the raging famine.

Didn’t God have emergency plans for Elijah? While his nation reeled under the
impact of an economic collapse and food was scare because of severe
famine—and a wicked king had a ransom on his head—God put his emergency
plan for Elijah into effect. He hid him by a quiet brook and fed him by having
a bird deliver his food. The survival plan also included a mysterious barrel of
    grain that never ran out.

What about Noah? What a detailed survival plan God had for him and his family!
An ark—floating him and his family safely above all the death and destruction
    of a worldwide flood.

And Lot? God actually sent angels to personally pull him and his children out
of the doomed city of Sodom. God’s hands were tied until Lot was safely out of
the suburbs. It was more than a loss of his job, more than a collapse of the
economy, more than a downfall of the government—it was total annihilation of
his society. But Lot was delivered safely.

Paul proved God’s emergency contingencies over and over! This apostle was
shipwrecked, chased by thieves, imprisoned, accused of treason and plotted
against by assassins yet, in every crisis, God had a contingency plan for
deliverance. Only when God determined his race was over did he call in his last
contingency plan. He called him to his resurrection.

We, too, have an emergency plan for survival—designed specifically for each
    believer.

Let there be no question about it—God will see us through every crisis!

    THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

Most of America knows that the Supreme Court of the United States has ruled the
Ten Commandments cannot be displayed in any government courthouse. This landmark
decision has been covered exhaustively by the media. But what does the ruling
    mean?

A courthouse is where laws are enforced. The Ten Commandments represent God’s
moral law, which never shifts or changes. It is as fixed as the law of gravity.
If you defy that law, it’s like stepping off a high building. You can deny
that the law affects you, but there are consequences sure to be paid.

Simply put, the Ten Commandments are eternal laws designed by God to keep
society from destroying itself. Yet, amazingly, many sand-blasting companies
are at work right now grinding away those Commandments—as well as God’s
name—wherever they’re engraved in courthouse marble or concrete.

What a telling picture of the state of our society. These unchangeable laws
were originally engraved in stone by the finger of God. And now they are being
erased from stone by the law of man.

Some Christians are saying, “What’s the big deal? We are not under the law.
Why should this be an issue?” No, we are not under the Hebrew law, meaning the
613 additional commandments added by Jewish rabbis. But every Christian is under
the authority of God’s moral law, which is summed up in the Ten Commandments.

I wonder what goes through God’s mind as these sand-blasters erase his laws
from before our eyes. Some believers claim, “We don’t need these displays
of the Commandments. All that’s really necessary is for us to have them
written in our hearts.” That’s not what God’s Word says. Consider the
very visible presence God intended for the Commandments as they were delivered
    to his people:

“These words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart… and
[thou] shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou
walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou
shalt bind them for a sign upon thy hand, and they shall be as frontlets between
thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy
    gates” (Deuteronomy 6:6-9).

    RESTORATION

The days of the Gentiles are almost over. God has given us plenty of warning
that the Spirit will not forever strive with the rebellious. But before this
generation comes under the retribution of almighty God, a great restoration is
    prophesied.

“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the
cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent
    among you” (Joel 2:25).

The psalmist David said the righteous shall “be like a tree planted by the
rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit…with leaves that do not
wither…and whatever he does shall prosper” (see Psalm 1:3). But that promise
is only to those who have totally separated themselves from the wicked, and who
refuse to walk in the way of sinners. It is only for those who are devoted
students of God’s Word, meditating in it day and night.

“The ungodly are not so,” said David (v. 4). They become weak and withered,
blown about by every wind and wave of doctrine. The compromisers are likened to
withered trees, diseased and corrupted with every conceivable kind of worm.

This is a picture of many professing Christians in God’s house today. They
neglect their Bible reading; they become too preoccupied to pray and build
themselves up in the faith; they become cozy with the ungodly and take their
    seat among the scornful.

An army of cankerworms has been eating away at the lives of multitudes of
backslidden Christians. Outwardly they appear as trees planted by the
water—but inwardly they are corrupted, weak, diseased. They no longer bear
fruit! They are drying up spiritually. The cankerworm did its destructive work
with the bark of the tree. So it is with sin—it is eating away deep within
those who have strayed from the presence of the Lord.

God has told us how he is going to bring about this great restoration. First,
he will pour out his Holy Spirit in such abundant ways, it will bring health
and strength back to all the trees in his forest. The worm of sin will begin to
lose its power as God’s people get back to Bible reading. A powerful revelation
of the Lord’s new covenant will make God’s people as bold as lions.
Yes—believe it—a revival of spiritual strength and divine health is going
to be poured out from on high.

HAVE YOU FELT LIKE GIVING UP LATELY?

A number of ministers have written to me expressing their concern for
parishioners who are simply giving up. “Good honest Christians are so
overwhelmed by guilt and condemnation that it causes despair. When they can’t live up to their own expectations, when they fall back into sin, they decide togive up….”

Growing numbers of Christians are at the breaking point. Few Christians would even dare entertain thoughts of quitting on their love for Jesus, but in despair they consider giving up on themselves.

Some ministers today continually preach only a positive message. To hear them tell it, every Christian is receiving miracles, everybody is getting instant answers to prayer; everybody is feeling good, living well, and the whole world is bright and rosy. I love to hear that kind of preaching because I really desire all those good and healthy things for God’s people. But that’s not the way things are for a great number of very honest, sincere Christians.

No wonder our young people give up in defeat. They can’t live up to the image, created by religion, of a carefree, rich, successful, always positive-thinking Christian. Their world is not that ideal; they live with heartbreaks, hour-by-hour crises, and family problems.

Paul talked about trouble: “…trouble which came to us…we were pressed out
of [burdened beyond] measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life” (see 2 Corinthians 1:8).

Positive thinking won’t make these problems go away and “confessing” that
these problems don’t really exist doesn’t change a thing. What is the cure? There are two absolutes that have brought me great comfort and help.

God loves me. He is a loving Father wanting only to lift us out of our
weakness. • It is my faith that pleases him most. He wants me to trust him.

    GOING THROUGH A DRY SPELL

Even though I preach to thousands, there are times I feel very dry, far away from the warm presence of God. When I’m dry and empty, I have no great yearning to read the Word and little compulsion to pray. I know my faith is intact and my love for Jesus is strong, and I have no desire to taste the things of this world. It’s just that I can’t seem to touch God for days, maybe even weeks.

Have you ever watched other Christians get blessed while you feel nothing? They testify of God’s answers to their prayers and shed tears of joy. They seem to live on a mountaintop of happy experiences while you just plod along, loving Jesus but not setting the world on fire.

I believe all true believers experience dry spells at various times in their Christian lives. Even Jesus felt the isolation when he cried aloud, “Father, why have you forsaken me?”

Without the nearness of God, there can be no peace. The dryness can be stopped only with the dew of his glory. The despair can be dispelled only by the assurance that God is answering. The fire of the Holy Spirit must heat the mind, body, and soul.

There are times I feel unworthy, like the worst kind of sinner, but in spite of all that, I know he is not far off. Somehow I hear a distinct, small voice calling, “Come, my child. I am aware of all you are experiencing. I still love you and I will never leave you nor forsake you. We will face it together because I am still your Father and you are my child.” I have a flame in me that will not be smothered and I know he will bring me out of any dry spell.

“For the Lord’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance. He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye” (Deuteronomy 32:9-10).

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen” (Isaiah 43:19-20).

    MAINTAINING A PRAYER LIFE

I must maintain a life of prayer in order to overcome spiritual dryness. Why is it that none of us pray as we should? We know that our burdens can all be lifted when we are shut in with him. The voice of the Holy Spirit keeps calling us to prayer, “Come!”

Come to the water that satisfies that soul thirst. Come to the Father, who pities his children. Come to the Lord of life, who promises to forgive every sin committed. Come to the One who refuses to condemn you or forsake you or hide from you.

We may try to hide from God because of guilt and condemnation but he never hides from us. Come boldly to his throne of grace, even when you have sinned and failed. He instantly forgives those who repent with godly sorrow. You don’t have to spend hours and days in remorse and guilt or earn your way back into his good graces. Go to the Father, bend your knees, open your heart, and cry out your agony and pain. Tell him about your loneliness, feelings of isolation, fears, and failures.

We try everything except prayer. We read books, looking for formulas and
guidelines. We go to friends, ministers, and counselors, looking everywhere for a word of comfort or advice. We seek mediators and forget the one Mediator who has the answer to everything.

Nothing dispels dryness and emptiness more quickly than an hour or two shut in with God. Nothing can take the place of praying to the Father in that secluded secret closet. That is the solution to every dry spell.

“For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry
ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine
    offspring” (Isaiah 44:3).

  11. Mr. Wilkerson my mother told me about you when I was little. When God gave you this vision I wasn’t even born yet. But my mother told me to listen to this message, so me and my wife listen, and we were in shock. There is not a lot of pastors teaching the people this. As I watch the news these things are happening right before our very eyes. People that are not believers yet see that something is terribly wrong. I just want to thank our LORD and Savior for giving you that vision. It was a eye opener to me and my wife.

  13. Pastor David Wilkerson, The Catholic Church has been receiving the same prophecies you have been given. One is that Rome would lose the faith and become the seat of anti-christ. That natural disasters and man-made disasters would increase to the point where we will experience God’s sheer justice. The Blessed Virgin Mary, the New Eve has been sent by God and ahs been appearing on every continent saying that times are short and God is going to chastise the earth because it is now worse then the flood. God bless you in your work. Maureen

    • In my previous post I meant to say that the Blessed Virgin said that the times we are living in are worse then at the times of the flood. We are living in prophecied times. She also said that the economy would not be good and that America would become a poor nation because of the sin of abortion and homosexuality. We have lost God’s protection and He can no longer bless us. We will end up like ancient Rome which was destroyed. Maureen

  14. As you say Pastor Wilkerson there is hope. The Blessed Virgin Mary said that in the end God will triumph. We must all stay close to Jesus and pray unceasingly and hope and trust in Jesus. He has ordained that those of us living in these times are meant to be here. Jesus I trust in you!! Maureen

    AN URGENT MESSAGE
I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to send out an urgent message to all on our mailing list, and to friends and to bishops we have met all over the world.

AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE – EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US.

For ten years I have been warning about a thousand fires coming to New York City. It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires—such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago.

There will be riots and fires in cities worldwide. There will be looting—including Times Square, New York City. What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a depression. We are under God’s wrath. In Psalm 11 it is written,

“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (v. 3).

God is judging the raging sins of America and the nations. He is destroying the secular foundations.

The prophet Jeremiah pleaded with wicked Israel, “God is fashioning a calamity against you and devising a plan against you. Oh, turn back each of you from your evil way, and reform your ways and deeds. But they will say, It’s hopeless! For we are going to follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart” (Jeremiah 18:11-12).

In Psalm 11:6, David warns, “Upon the wicked he will rain snares (coals of fire)…fire…burning wind…will be the portion of their cup.” Why? David answered, “Because the Lord is righteous” (v. 7). This is a righteous judgment—just as in the judgments of Sodom and in Noah’s generation.

WHAT SHALL THE RIGHTEOUS DO? WHAT ABOUT GOD’S PEOPLE?

First, I give you a practical word I received for my own direction. If possible lay in store a thirty-day supply of non-perishable food, toiletries and other essentials. In major cities, grocery stores are emptied in an hour at the sign of an impending disaster.

As for our spiritual reaction, we have but two options. This is outlined in Psalm 11. We “flee like a bird to a mountain.” Or, as David says, “He fixed his eyes on the Lord on his throne in heaven—his eyes beholding, his eyelids testing the sons of men” (v. 4). “In the Lord I take refuge” (v. 1).

I will say to my soul: No need to run…no need to hide. This is God’s righteous work. I will behold our Lord on his throne, with his eye of tender, loving kindness watching over every step I take—trusting that he will deliver his people even through floods, fires, calamities, tests, trials of all kinds.

Note: I do not know when these things will come to pass, but I know it is not far off. I have unburdened my soul to you. Do with the message as you choose.

    God bless and keep you,

    In Christ,

    DAVID WILKERSON

  17. One of the David Wilkerson’s prophecies given in 2003 in London in an interview by Israel today newspaper in which he deals with partition of Israel and Jerusalem seems to be very much forgotten.
Israel today reprinted it yesterday and it’s worth thinking because of its serious message for this very year.

israel today: As an American Christian, how did you feel about the war in Iraq?
Wilkerson: I preached about Saddam Hussein’s fall and warned our President that everything revolves around Israel. Oil is not the main concern. Saddam planned to destroy Israel, with the help of other Arab nations. Saddam Hussein is a stubborn person, and I’m thankful that God gave our President this strong conviction to save Israel from him.
israel today: Do you really believe that President Bush will choose to be biblically driven instead of politically correct concerning Israel?
Wilkerson: That’s why I call on American Christians to pray for our President daily and also to pray against the anti-Semitism that still exists in the Church. God warned me when I first established Times Square Church that we must always remain faithful to Israel. And I always have.
israel today: You are here in Europe, where many Christians have no understanding of the US-led war in Iraq.
Wilkerson: Many Christians in Europe simply don’t understand God’s Word. Saddam’s rockets were only aimed at Israel, not at neighboring Arab states. Beyond that, rising anti-Semitism in the churches can be felt here, particularly in Great Britain.
israel today: Would you describe Islam as a peaceful religion, as your President did?
Wilkerson: I read the Koran and I am sure that this book is false teaching. Islam is a religion of destruction. I find it so strange that Gospel preachers don’t understand that God didn’t break His covenant with Israel. God gave the Land to Israel, and every nation that wants to destroy Israel will be punished.
israel today: You have great courage to take such a strong pro-Israel stand.
Wilkerson: I’m often criticized in the Christian world for this. But I feel God’s rich blessing for it, which is much more valuable to me.
israel today: After the war in Iraq, Israel is once again at the top of the world’s agenda. Do you think the ‘roadmap’ has a chance to bring peace between Israelis and Palestinians?
Wilkerson: No! How can Bush, who knows the Bible, have no fear of God and pressure Israel into territorial compromise for the sake of the roadmap? God will punish him for it. The dollar will fall, Bush will sink into depression and he could very well lose the next election. I pray daily that the President’s believing advisors will influence him more than his political advisors.
israel today: In other words, you’re saying there’s no human solution to the conflict between Israel and the Arabs?
Wilkerson: God has promised to protect His people. He’s made a covenant and given them the Promised Land. He set the nation’s borders and He will safeguard them. I don’t see a realistic hope for peace because I can’t imagine that Israel will relinquish the Jewish settlements, as the Arabs are demanding. The Arabs also say there won’t be peace unless East Jerusalem becomes the capital of a Palestinian state. But that’s strictly against God’s will. My friend, if the world forces Jerusalem to be divided, it will come to chaos.
israel today: We in Israel can thank God that He is our secret weapon.
Wilkerson: Please publish my warning to the nations that take a stand against God’s people and His city Jerusalem. God said this and He will fulfill it. Shalom and God’s blessings.

  18. And G-d says “well done, my good and faithful servant, WELL DONE”! 🙂

quote “4:00 PM – Is David Wilkerson’s Death A Sign For America?
It’s interesting to me that he died on the same day several states experienced severe destruction by tornadoes with the death toll over 250. Wilkerson repeatedly warned of impending judgement on America. And with Obama wanting to split Jerusalem giving the temple mount to muslims it’s going to get a lot worse.
I believe that his passing is a sign that the judgment is about to enter a new phase! ” quote

  25. DAve WIlkerson – a collection of sermons

  26. I have been reading this and came across your comments on David Wilkerson, You need to hear this…
In July of 1992 I was backsliding…badly. I cried out to God to help as He did when I was first saved. It was a few days later when my friend asked me to go along with him to Times Square Church (we ar from RI) to hear david Wilkerson preach. I agreed. As I said ‘yes’ the Holy Spirit said to me…it will change your life. Not audibly, but inside…never happened before. The night before we left for NY I sat on the bed with my wife and went over what I had been going thru for the last 2 years….how the Holy Spirit had left , I was wandering aimlessly, I needed a new job, etc….we talked for about an hour. The next day about 5 of us drove off to NY. We arrived at Times Square and I was immediately amazed at the size. The music started and the choir was awesome. Then, suddenly, David Wilkerson got up from his seat and stopped the music…even now I still get goose-bumps when i think of this. He said that he had been in prayer the night before for the service as he always does and the Holy Spirit told him to change his sermon. He said that He had never done that before. He then, for the next twenty minutes, went over in detail what my wife and Ihad talked about the night before….in detail!!!! he said that he did not know if there was only 1, 100 or 1,000 that this concerned, but he said that the Holy Spirir wanted whoever to know that He was still in control of my life. That He had not left and when He moved I would know it. His sermon was about the Jews walking in the wilderness for 40 years. And how the cloud and the pillar of fire led them. If the cloud/pillar stayed for a month, the Jews stayed with it….they never got ahead of the cloud/pillar. He wanted me to know that when the cloud moved that I would know it and that He was still in control even though I was backsliding. david truely heard from God. God led me there to hear this. he got my attention and my life has not been the same since. I preach the gospel now at a homeless shelter and I have witnessed God move in the same way. Amen.

  29. Thank you, Jesus for the years you gave us with this bold, honest, God fearing man.

  30. God still speaks to the generation of men. God still uses men. We still have faithfull men of God. This describes David Wilkerson.

  31. I started to listen to this guy and his first words gave me info that he is a false prophet, then I stopped listen. He said the economic crize will start in Germany. First of all it is not hard to predict economy. It can get worse, better and be the same. 3 ways is nothing to predict. One can better economy one can say worse and the third can say it will be the same. Germany is the country that has best economy in Europe and probably in the world during this crize. And it speaks against his words. I don´t like to talk positive words about Germans but the truth is that they have a good economy.

20 days remains of the Orthodox eastern fast!

  32. This guy is whacked out of his damn mind, Jesus warns us in the bible about false prophets like this imposter

  33. If this guy were a true prophet, everything he predicted would have come true right on schedule. Sure, some general predictions came true, but any sociology student could have predicted the same thing. But as for the big, biblical events… zip, zilch, nada. So clearly he is no real prophet, just a guesser like everyone else. It just goes to prove you can’t base your prophecy on the dreams of others, or even your own for that matter.
Jesus gave us all the signs we need. Just be patient – they will come to pass. On God’s schedule. Not some dreamer who thinks He’s got a direct line to the Father.
