Dream About an Explosion

An explosion and a fire almost hits me.

–

I had a dream a few nights ago.

I did not think it was too important until the North Carolina legislature passed the fracking bill.

It made me think.

–

In the dream, there was an explosion that completely knocks me down, and I feel intense heat.

I fall into a ditch, and the heat passes over me.

I am not harmed.

I seem to be close enough to the explosion to be affected by it, but far enough away not to be hurt by it.

At first I thought it was a nuclear explosion.

But since I suffered no permanent damage, I thought it might be something else.

Yesterday, the NC Legislature passed the fracking bill, which I oppose.

I have read about the dangers, and don’t think it is worth it.

–

There have been several prophecies by those now deceased where America would burn.

Nuclear missiles have also been predicted, but my impression is that America someday will just go up in flames.

–

I have written before about natural gas basins being a source of danger during earthquakes.

Another source of danger would be man made activity, like fracking.

There are large gas basins under US soil

Those are the ones tapped into.

–

Here are the potential fracking sites in my state:

Different events could trigger explosions from all the gas basins in the USA:

Nuclear event

Man made activity in drilling / fracking

Earthquakes

Yellowstone eruption, which could affect the entire USA.

New Madrid fault line eruption.

I am within 20-30 miles of a potential fracking site.

–

I am not on an active fault line, but the East Coast Fault Line goes right up the east coast near me.

I have written my representative about this legislation that just passed, and discussed the dangers of fracking.

Dear Mr Dollar

I am shocked and dismayed that the legislature would pass this bill.  After all the dangers associated with fracking, one would think this sort of activity would be stopped.  This is reckless.

Cancer causing agents, 600 different chemicals, are infused into the well and ground water table, and methane gas escapes into the water and gets into the drinking water also.   I have seen videos of gas and fire coming out of people’s water faucets.  Methane gas is usually 17 x higher in wells near fracking sites.

There has been over 1000 documented cases of water contamination near fracking sites.

It also takes 8 million gallons of water for each fracking, which means you are removing drinking water from people.

Each well can be fracked 18 times, for a total of 72 trillion gallons of water, and 360 billion gallons of chemicals.

Volatile gases escape into the atmosphere when the fracking is finished.

Fracking also disturbs the earth crust, and makes earthquakes easier to occur.  The potential fracking sites are right over the east coast fault line.

This also endangers people’s homes, who will live close to the fracking sites.

All this for 300,000 barrels of gas.

Why is the legislature intent on destroying our environment?

This activity also does not create jobs, since most people in need of work do not do that sort of work.

Please consider reversing this decision.

God created the natural world, and it is a beautiful testimony to His glory.

Man is destroying it.

Man is also planning on destroying itself, for the sake of temporal power.

–

I will not be sure what causes the explosion, for sure, until it happens.

But the fact that it is a danger has to be considered and prepared for.

I have mentioned that we should store food and water for emergencies.

To prepare as well as possible, one must consider what kind of emergency would hit their area, as it would present unique challenges.

I have imagined a water shortage due to drought, or loss of power to pump the water.

I had not considered a water shortage due to contamination with methane, or the water being taken away to use for fracking.

Methane is flammable!!!!!

I live on well water, so what happens to the water table is critical to my health and the health of others around me.

–

Fracking sites around the world.

–

Fracking is a world wide problem, not just for the USA.

In case of activity that can cause any disruption of the earth’s crust, one should be prepared for an emergency situation.

Earthquakes are increasing, and becoming more intense.

And international political strife may bring war, and explosions, which may set off more explosions due to ruptured gas basins.

Literally, much of the world could go up in flames.

Dear Heavenly Father

Please forgive us for the damage done to this earth, both through sinful lives, violence, selfishness, and through irresponsible activity that destroys your Creation.

Please help us correct what we can, and bring back your glory once more to this earth.

Let all evil and destruction be destroyed.

And may we strive to sincerely repent, and receive your protection from the inevitable disasters that wait at our door, due to our own failings.
