Dream: Worship, Not Tears
One is the remedy for the other.
17 Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
19 The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights.
I am very sad in my dream.
The Lord answers and shows me I am wrong, that I should be worshipping him.
End of Dream
Life can be very sad.
It is natural to feel the negative pain of these situations.
In the beginning, it is appropriate to grieve.
And YHVH God is there for us.
But we cannot dwell there.
It is not the right “place” for a believer to dwell.
If we stay too long, we lose our strength and authority.
Psalm 91 states:
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Most of us know, as humans, we cannot be in 2 places at once.
When we continue to dwell in sadness, we substitute that sad spirit for YHVH God’s spirit, the presence of YHVH God, and we become weak, and open to more attacks by Satan, and life in general.
This is what the enemy wants, but NOT what YHVH God wants for us.
So we have to choose WHERE we want to dwell
We cannot continue in sadness and be in YHVH God’s presence.
There is only joy and healing there, not continued sadness.
Sadness is healed.
Worship – the bridge to recovery
Worship is a conscious decision to move out of ourselves, and get “lost” in YHVH God.
However, we are not really lost, in fact, we find ourselves.
Joy is required in order to express praise.
And praise is good, if one is able.
YHVH lives in the praises of His people.
Praise opens the door to worship.
Praise brings us into the outer court.
Worship is much deeper.
Broken hearts are able to directly enter into the presence, and access the touch of YHVH God,
as all masks have been removed, all walls have been torn down, all resistance has been broken.
We walk into the holy of holies, and dwell there.
What is most important is once we get there, we stay there as long as possible.
