I checked the media sources for confirmation, and the possibility of a food and/or water shortage is realistic enough to take appropriate measures.
From a secular viewpoint, even if the need does not arise, it is always wise to have something extra stored.
I have been following the news and other media about Homeland Security issues.
I tried to stay with credible sources.
There will be a need sometime this year for at least a 90 day supply of food and water, and other emergency supplies.
Since it takes time to accumulate that much material, I want you to know this as soon as possible.

There are several issues that come into play here at this time:

- the new Madrid Fault zone has been having some activity, causing cracks in surfaces. If an earthquake occurs, all available food water and fuel will be re-routed to the disaster area, causing local shortages. FEMA is currently buying up all the emergency food in the USA.

- the BP oil spill has caused a disruption of the Gulf coast ocean floor, which is now “heaving” up and down, as if to release a large burst of methane gas, and could split the ocean floor in doing so, causing an earthquake.
–

- World wide food harvests are down due to rainy weather and bitter cold. –

- an always imminent danger of an EMP attack, which would shut down the electric grid for the eastern US. Lack of power could open us to external attack by enemies, since our computers and radar will be down, and unable to detect incoming missiles.

- upcoming crash of the value of the dollar. Current efforts to switch to a new global currency. Before this, the dollar will crash in value by 50-70%. Obama and Sarkosy are working on a transition currency now. The UN is set to meet between March – July 2011 to devalue the dollar. Assets will drop dramatically in value

- Because of debt that we cannot pay back to China, China is buying up US banks. The new global currency will be compatible with the Chinese currency.

- News reports indicate that Obama is organizing the military for spring riots over food shortages, and other problems.

- Iran has moved warships into the Mediterranean to oppose US warships stationed there to protect Israel.
–

- The riots and violence in Egypt may spread, and cause instability in other countries, which might directly or indirectly impact the economies and behaviors of people. If there are riots in America, it would be dangerous to go anywhere, especially to public places like stores to try to compete for food in a shortage.

Solar cycle 24 will reach its maximum in 2011-2012. Solar storms are anticipated which could disrupt power and cause dramatic weather and disruptive earth changes. If the storms create a scenario like the one in 1859, there could be area wide, or even national, power outages for months.

Existence of Planet X seems to be in some dispute, but those that indicate they have detected it say it will come close to the earth and sun in about 2012. It is not known how large it is, but seems to be following a meteor like path. If it passes by the sun while the earth is on the OPPOSITE side of the sun, the damage will be less. If it passes by the sun while the earth is on the SAME side of the sun, the damage will be catastrophic.

The following excerpt is from FEMA’s website and I quote, “199 years ago, the first in a series of catastrophic earthquakes rocked the Midwest along the New Madrid seismic zone. Although the epicenter of the December 16th quake was in northeast Arkansas, the magnitude of the quake reportedly caused church bells to ring along the East coast…………a major earthquake in the New Madrid zone (of magnitude 6.0 or more) would severely affect Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Several other states would be affected, ranging from Minnesota to Florida. It’s hard to imagine a natural disaster on that scale today. For this reason, FEMA is leading a national-level exercise in May of 2011 (NLE 2011) simulating a major earthquake along the New Madrid fault. We’re bringing all the relevant team members to the table to make the exercise as realistic as possible-“
FEMA exercise in May 2011: Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee- items currently being purchased by FEMA:
While the plan is for a 10-30 day “exercise,” if a real earthquake were to occur, more supplies will be needed and pulled in from non-effected areas, causing shortages.
1) Fuel -support is needed to provide mobile refueling in the event of a disaster to and within a 300 mile radius of mobilization areas, staging areas and other points of distribution within the states of NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, TX, and LA. During a disaster the estimated daily quantity required for each state is 135,000 U.S. Gallons for diesel fuel and 24,000 U.S. Gallons for gasoline. The vendor will be required to maintain readiness capability and deliver within 24 hours notice.
2) Water – the purpose of this Request for Information is to identify sources of supply for hydration in support of disaster relief efforts based on a catastrophic disaster event within the New Madrid Fault System for a survivor population of 7M to be utilized for the sustainment of life during a 10-day period of operations. Primary Container – The water shall be packaged in single-service –bottles with flat caps or similar packages suitable for water consumption. Bottles shall be 1 liter in size; Now this works out to 210 million liters a day times the 7 days in the order for a total of 1,470,000,000 (yes that is a Billion)
3) MRE – Meals supply for meals in support of disaster relief efforts based on a catastrophic disaster event within the New Madrid Fault System for a survivor population of 7M to be utilized for the sustainment of life during a 10-day period of operations. 14M meals per day is the order. So..14 million meals times 10 days is also in the Billions of meals. At Gander Mountain these meals run 8-9 USD each. Assuming FEMA can get a volume discount of let’s say 50% that would be 4.50 UDS per meal times 14 million per day times 10 days equals a whopping …(well you do the math)
4) Blankets – The purpose of this Request for Information is to identify sources of supply for blankets in support of disaster relief efforts based on a catastrophic disaster event within the New Madrid Fault System for a survivor population of 7M to be utilized for the sustainment of life during a 10-day period of operations. FEMA is considering the following specifications 14M blankets per day for 10 days.
5) Training– So we can have all these meals, water, blankets and people in need without trained staff to handle the operations. They are looking for qualified staffing also.
The list was extensively longer, but you get the idea, a large of amount of supplies for a training exercise and what’s up with the 7 million people figure? It is too much for a training exercise but if, possibly, just possibly they know something the rest of us don’t and they are preparing for the real thing, 7 million “survivors” is a low number for that wide of state area leaving me to wonder what the causality projections were? It took some digging, but I found the stats at IDEALS, which is a division of the University of Illinois and it reads as follows:
“The results indicate that Tennessee, Arkansas, and Missouri are most severely impacted. Illinois and Kentucky are also impacted, though not as severely as the previous three states. Nearly 715,000 buildings are damaged in the eight-state study region. About 42,000 search and rescue personnel working in 1,500 teams are required to respond to the earthquakes. Damage to critical infrastructure (essential facilities, transportation and utility lifelines) is substantial in the 140 impacted counties near the rupture zone, including 3,500 damaged bridges and nearly 425,000 breaks and leaks to both local and interstate pipelines. Approximately 2.6 million households are without power after the earthquake. Nearly 86,000 injuries and fatalities result from damage to infrastructure. Nearly 130 hospitals are damaged and most are located in the impacted counties near the rupture zone. There is extensive damage and substantial travel delays in both Memphis, Tennessee, and St. Louis, Missouri, thus hampering search and rescue as well as evacuation. Moreover roughly 15 major bridges are unusable. Three days after the earthquake, 7.2 million people are still displaced and 2 million people seek temporary shelter. Direct economic losses for the eight states total nearly $300 billion, while indirect losses may be at least twice this amount.”

Iranian warships coming to Mediterranean and Red Seas
Less than 24 hours after the breakdown of its nuclear dialogue with the six world powers in Istanbul, Iran announced plans Sunday, January 23, to send a fleet of warships, including a home-made destroyer, on operational and intelligence-gathering missions to the Red Sea and on to the Mediterranean through the Suez Canal. Parts of the fleet will in fact be deployed in the three waters around Israel’s southern and western shores.
It is a rapid response to the arrival of the USS Enterprise carrier with a strike group carrying 6,000 sailors and marines and 80 warplanes in the Mediterranean at the end of last week on its way to the Arabian Sea opposite Iran. British ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair’s call on the West to stop apologizing and react to Iran with force was not lost on the rulers of the Islamic Republic.
The Navy Commander, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari spoke of three or four vessels including Iran’s first home-made destroyer, Jamaran, with back-up operational units standing by for urgent support missions. His deputy, Rear-Admiral Gholam Reza Bi-Gham said the deployment would last about a year and at some future time, long-distance submarines would join the fleet.
Iran recently purchased three Kilo class submarines from Russia and is using them in the Persian Gulf. For two years, Iranian military shipyards have been building miniature submarines, war ships and fast assault craft. Most Western naval give them low ratings in performance especially in view of their outdated electronics. However, if deployed in support of the warships assigned to the Mediterranean and Red Seas, those mini-submarines and assault craft could be extremely troublesome and give plenty of headaches to American, Israel and Egyptian naval commanders
Editor’s Note: It is self evident that Iran is positioning their naval forces for an all out war with Israel, and they clearly recognize they will be in combat with American and European naval forces in the region. These forces presently include the Israeli and Egyptian assets mentioned in the above news, but also include the French and German military which is positioned nearby due to the Iranian modeled revolution which just occurred in Tunisia.
Although military analysts rank these "mini subs" as antiquated, perhaps this would be a good time to remind the world of the tactical mindset of the Iranian military. During the 8 year long war with Iraq under Saddam Hussein, Iran commonly utilized suicide bombers, promised a place in Allah’s heaven, to destroy multi-million dollar hardware such as tanks and artillery emplacements.
It’s hardly implausible to think these Iranian manufactured mini subs don’t need the expensive electronics required to be state of the art, as Iran has plenty of martyrs to field suicide missions. Furthermore, If a suicide bomber is willing to die to kill 200 of the enemy with conventional explosives, why not kill 2 million with a nuclear device — the very capability that is stirring the conflict in the first place.
The fact is, all these steps have been thought out and planned for a very long time, and the fact that it is prophesied that Iran will lose this conflict is little solace, for in the process, the prophets also tell of a great world power that will receive a "deadly wound" — an event that will very likely occur before the year is out.

Wow, Marianne. Thanks for all the info. The task of preparing seems daunting, but I know I need to get started. It seems very expensive to purchase a kit, so I’m assuming it’s more affordable to piece together our own supplies? Can anyone recommend a good check list? Should I just try to follow what’s in a kit? We’re feeling a bit overwhelmed but my husband and I agree that we need to be ready and we want to start now.

I just bought a product for my son. He is 5 and hates vegetables. One serving is the equivalent of eating 5 or 6 servings of fruits/veggies. I mix it with yogurt or knoxblocks for him. My husband and I have been successfully using it as a meal replacement. Then I got to thinking that it would be an ideal addition to our food storage supply.
Our focus for food storage has been bulk (meaning food that makes you feel full) and variety of flavor. But I have been a little concerned that the nutritional content is lacking. This product is the missing link for me. It can be mixed with less water than it takes to swallow the equivalent amount of vitamins and your body has a better chance of absorbing the nutrients than from pills. Anyway, I just thought I would pass this link for others if they have had the same concern.

Regarding water, it seems God is making provision for some of us, at least here in the Northeast, where the stuff is being stored in great piles of snow and ice. To take advantage of it, however, it may be useful to have things like funnels, coffee filters, bleach (or else iodine) plus an eye-dropper for dispensing same to purify it. Plastic barrels (e.g., under down-pipes) may also be helpful. Not the kind of thing you’d want to drink ordinarily, but in a pinch it’s better than going to a polluted river or lake (where one is also exposed to other people and the danger they may present in such perilous times).

One thought I had was to get 50 gallon trash cans, with lids, and fill them up with a hose. Just stick the lid on. Good for 6 months at least, esp if have the bleach (1-2 drops per gallon) in them. Good for cooking and cleaning.
Also, if you ( one person) drank 4 bottles of water a day x 90 = 360 bottles of water. Water comes in a 24 pack, so that is 15 packs per person. The water is good for at least 2 years.

Thank you for your information and insight — the Lord has been calling us all, some in different ways than others. I have always stockpiled food. I have a large family and do alot of baking, canning and dehydrating. I would like to refer you to a web page that I find very informative with respect to what we need should we be confronted with a collapse or disaster. I have noticed that this food is actually on the shelves at Costco here in Denver. It may be higher in price but you can get it quickly. The Mormons are really good at stockpiling and putting together great cookbooks and survival books as well and Augason Farms has some of these items available. We do need to be prepared spiritually for what is ahead of us, as well as physically.

I had written a bit more. I’ll forward it to you. Two years ago before election Obama promised East Jerusalem to Palis and commanded them to organise riots that Israel would get fed up with East Jerusalem.
My understanding was immediately after the ultimatum to Mubarak that the whole thing is his handwriting. He has been years friend with Muslim Brotherhood leaders and now he has the opportunity to make them a service at the same time promoting NWO.
He has been pushing Arab peace plan long time with the requirement to get Muslim majority in Israel. Tactics is clear. Israel will not surrender voluntarily to Arabs so he organises his friends to run Egypt. He is a good speaker and talks about democracy knowing well that Iran of 1979 will be repeated.
The strongest takes the power and that happens to be Brotherhood. The future is also easy to see. He will ask Brotherhood to keep profile low and in return continues $1,5b annual military aid to the strongest army in the area after Israel.
In preparation for that he already threatened Mubarak that if democracy does not win in Egypt this aid will be stopped.
His clear purpose is to eliminate Israel but he cannot win the Lord.
I have seen also prophecies dealing with Israel in which the Lord says: because Israel does not accept the peace from God but wants to make her own peace Israel will have wars. Thus it is easy to see that this Obama’s operation in Egypt is allowed by the Lord and Israel pays a heavy price.
And it has been easy to see the Lord’s peace plan after 1967 war. Israel had all the legal rights to possess all the land west of Jordan river. Britain was the originator of Balfour, San Remo etc the treaties never cancelled. Israel should have annexed.
Instead Israel did not want to govern Arabs and have done her best to create an Arab state inside Israel. Israel leaders don’t even talk about their legal rights publically and the result is that the whole world is now talking about
Palestinian land which legally is Jewish land. And the Lord very clearly says in His Word about these times of return “and you shall possess the land”. But Israel refuses to follow Tanach, full of dry bones as Ezekiel tells and Rabbis concentrate in their man made rules of conversions etc

Another thing. I mentioned earlier that I wanted to know who was Nimrod. With which name he is recorded in history. In Sumer there was plenty of talk who was the rightful king according to promise given to Eve.
Rightfull king in Sumerian language is sarrukin, history knows this name there. Sargon II has been suggested, obviously corresponding sarrukin in akkadian language. I don’t buy that based on Bible text Cush begat Nimrod. Maybe Sargon II lived too late. I don’t know.
Its the same thing with Joseph. Which was the name used of him in Egypt. Now it is clear, he was Imhotep, builder of first pyramide and establisher of medical treatment in the world. One of his names Path is still used as pathology borrowed by Hippocrates from Egypt.

This advice is dangerous! Do not do this! Trash cans have plastic materials that are poisonous! ONLY FOOD GRADE plastic can be used for potable {drinkable} water. Also it would not last 6 months. One month tops if treated with bleach in a food grade container. And you would not put 1 or 2 drops of bleach, you would add 16 drops of bleach per one gallon of water.
Food grade container ALWAYS have an icon of three arrows making a triangle ususally found on the bottom of the container. If it doesn’t it isn’t food grade, that is the US law.
If you were in an emergency situation only and used a sanitized trash can to catch rain water and then immediately transferred it to smaller food grade containers that should be OK, but no more that a few minutes in a trash can.
Of course using a trash can would be fine for water to launder your clothes but not used for anything to do with human consumption.
I strongly advise the monitor, for the safety of your readers to delete Ultraguy’s post. A world-wide crisis is not the time to get sick!

You can quite easily gather 100’s of gal. of water from a rain by nailing a tarp to your roof, then funneling it into a PVC pipe which is lead down to a rain barrel. Then strain the water through a cloth twice, then a one micron filter and then add bleach and store in a sealed food grade container. I have collected 50 gal. of water in 4 1/2 min. from my roof.
Prepare for the economic collapse of 2011.
Get two yrs worth of food, 3 months of water and all the silver rounds you an afford, as the dollar will soon become almost worthless.

Just a short note – I am retired law enforcement and currently trained with our local CERT team in San Diego. (CERT = Community Emergency Response Team.) There are many resources for preparing for the 90 days. I am not associated with this web site, but there is an alternative to MRE’s, and they cost about $4.50 / meal in a case. There are about 4 types of “heater meals”, and the HeaterMealEX has a shelf life of about 5 years. These are also self heating meals: HeaterMeals Self-Heating Meals :: HeaterMeals EX Entrees . Secondly, some companies that “service’ local government and volunteer agencies also sell to the public. I strongly recommend this site: CERT Kits | Emergency Supplies | Disaster Relief I have purchased a lot of my personal as well as my “response” supplies as a volunteer with CERT. It is true that if you purchase all your needs separately, it is cheaper. However, I do recommend that you start with a kit professionally put together, then add to that for personal use (i.e. Rx medications, etc.) These sites also have great “lists” to work from in preparing your readiness kits. (For instance, if you wear glasses they suggest also having a second – perhaps old – prescription pair in the pack.) I could go on, I planned on sending you a “note” and this is already longer than I expected. People don’t need to panic. There are resources out there now. I wanted you to be aware of these alternatives to MREs.

Even under ideal circumstances with the best of care patients are difficult to take care of these days. They are older and sicker and families have really unrealistic expectations of their loved ones living on and on. I’m not making excuses, I wasn’t there. This is an Oncology Doctor that thought she was making the right decision. Supposedly it was palliative not meant to kill them. Most physicians believe in curing patients. They get the Palliative Nurse specialist to discuss end of life issues. They aren’t trained nor do they want to deal with death issues.

After having worked in the federal government for 35 years to include some time at the Pentagon, I have seen first hand that this country has been sold a terrible bill of goods due to greed, money, sex, and power. Also, our POTUS has so weakened our nation that we may never recover from his massive spending that will ultimately be the death of our dollar.
Someday China and the other countries that we’ve borrowed from will want their money back, and we won’t be able to repay it. Not now. Not ever.
Unfortunately our grandchildren don’t have a clue. They are so busy playing game-boy and texting one another, they will walk right into a mess that will catch them completely by surprise. Schools are so busy playing the “PC” game, they can’t teach things that really matter. Everyone passes just because they have attended class. Not good.
Well, we are getting what we voted for. A POTUS willing to bow down to every foreign leader and apologize for all the terrible things we have done to all the nations of the world. Never mind the fact that we rebuilt Germany and Japan after WW II. Never mind that we have been in Korea for the past 60 years to see that nation become as strong economically as we are. All that and more doesn’t seem to matter to this current administration.
Now we are at the final crossroads in our country’s survival. I seriously doubt that we will survive the economic disaster that is coming upon us, but we have hope. Jesus will return to call us home when he says to us, “come up hither” (Revelation 4) I believe we could be that generation. Let’s hope so, anyway.

Lindsey also emphasizes on the need to buy gold and silver so when the dollar is dead and we are changed over to a new currency then we can convert the gold/silver over to the new currency; been hearing that now for 4 years.
And he continues to emphasize that we are to keep our eyes on China and Russia.
He also reported that a good friend of his had dinner with Nancy Pelosi who told her to go home and stock up for at least 6 months; this was last fall.
So between Lindsey Williams, Alex Jones and Marianne and her sources, all of them seem to be saying the same thing and within the same time frame. There are a lot of consistencies.

This list is not totally chronological, but important things are at the top of the list and ones I would seek out first. You will need these items if and when a disaster arises. When disaster takes place, these items will also be very hard to find. The best thing to do is have these items now so that when the need arises, they are there for you and your family.
Another point I would like to make, you should try to have extra on hand for others you care about, trade and for sale; because if you need them, so do others.

I agree. Water is the most important resource to have on hand. people can go 30 -40 days without food and still live, and only a few days without water.
My water bill indicates we use about 6000 gallons a month. While I won’t be able to save that much, it does emphasize how much we depend on water each day.
My main concern is that if water is saved prior to an earthquake, if that were to happen, that all the food and water stored might fall off shelves, and crash and spill. Then it would be wasted. I have not figured that out yet, except maybe to put something in front of each shelf to block the fall.
Somehow, I want to pray that God will only shake the believer’s homes “a little bit.” That way our supply won’t get messed up.
Another concern is if there is flooding. Then everything we saved is under water and ruined. I guess we’d better pray hard that does not happen.

Finland is not a typical earthquake country but sometimes they occur in the magnitude of 2-3. One Finn got a few days ago the message from the Lord and published it in the largest Finnish chat sites. It happened 3/19 at the time written in advance. Somebody then asked how could he know and he got the opportunity to tell that the Lord told him and if you start trusting the Lord you would also know a lot of things. Looks like this kind of discussion is not regarded as suitable for general public and it was removed a few days later.
Anyway, he has seen also a stronger earthquake coming to Finland and gives an advice to store food for three months.

If I were living in a secluded area like Finland I absolutely would store enough food for at least two years, probably more like three.
6 months would NEVER be enough time to plant and grown enough of your own to last you through the next year.

I have also examined Central Bankers quite a lot. They have a very old history. In Jesus times the center of Israel was conquered by them, the temple. Government money was not accepted there, only money which they had printed by themselves. Rate of exchange was is not mention in the Bible but most likely their earnings were higher than in today’s US. Jesus instructed His followers to follow Him. There is no other case in Gospels when Jesus used violence but then he used physical force and drove them away and fell their tables. Maybe this would be biblical method in the “den of thieves”. Why should thieves who don’t accept government money be paid?

I just stopped at my local convenience store to pick up some mayonaise. The smallest jar in there was $6.19. Now I know these convenience stores jack up their prices, but I actually had sticker shock. I asked the lady at the counter, and she told me that their suppliers were raising their prices. She said that they have stopped carrying butter because the supplier was chargin them over $9.00 for it that would mean they would have to sell it for $12.00+. Now i do not know if this is a localized supply issue where I live, or a hint of things to come. But these are pretty dramatic increases!

That is expensive mayo and butter. They raise prices when the supplies get low. Time to get stocked up now. if not already prepared. We will have to forget luxury foods, and stick to basics.
Going by the butter price, that is one zero knocked off the value of our currency. Last time I bought butter, which was a while ago as we do not use it often, it was a $1.29/lb. I am curious if anybody else is seeing these sorts of Jumps on specific goods around the country?
I have not looked yet at other items, but my milk, eggs and vegetables are about the same.
well I want shopping today Sept 20 2012 to a I.G.A market here was going to get eggs the five dozen package just payed little over 6 dollars a little less then a month ago but today the price was just under 10.00 didn’t get it also the meat prices here in Arizona to us is high we don’t have much this same store had hamburger on sell for 1.29 a pound that’s a really good deal for up here haven’t had that in over a month there was a line of people waiting to get it thy couldn’t keep up with the hamburger to tell the truth i am shocked what I could buy two months ago I cant seem to now and I don’t under stand whats up

Three Men in A Wheat Field

Shortly after returning to the United States I began having a recurring dream. I have prayed many nights as to whether or not I should share this dream, and I finally received confirmation that I should. There are some dreams or visions that I receive wherein I know instantly that it was either meant for me personally, or that it was intended to be shared. This was not such a dream. After seeking the Lord on the matter however, I know I was supposed to make this dream public.
I dreamt I stood in front of a large wheat field. By the golden hew the wheat stalks had taken on, in my dream, I knew that it was close to harvest time, either late summer or early autumn. It was beautiful and peaceful watching the wheat sway gently in the breeze under a picture perfect blue sky.
As I grew familiar with the scene before me, I began looking around and saw three men, evenly spaced at the edge of the field. One man stood on the left corner of the rectangular field, the second man stood in the middle, and the third man stood on the far right edge.
All three men were dressed in white, and since I was seeing them from behind I could not make out their faces. Each of the three men held something in their right hand. The man on the left held a burning torch, the man in the middle held something that looked like a wineskin, and the man in the far right corner held an old fashioned sickle, and a basket lay on the ground next to him. I recognized the sickle, because I used to play with one in my adolescence while living in Romania.
As I stood and watched this strange scene before me, the man on the far left tipped his torch slightly, and touched one of the wheat stalks with the lit torch. Suddenly about one third of the entire wheat field burst into flame. The fire went out as quickly as it began a sudden burst of flame, followed by the scorched remnants of a once beautiful wheat field.
As I continued watching, the second man uncorked the wineskin, raised it about shoulder level, and tipped it slightly. One solitary drop of water poured out of the wineskin, but as it made contact with the wheat another third of the field was leveled as though a great wave had just swept through it.
I did not understand what I was seeing but I continued to watch the scene unfold. I was expecting the third man to do something as dramatic as the first two, but instead he simply bent from the waist, grabbed a handful of wheat stalk with his left hand, and with a practiced swing of the sickle cut through it. He then laid the wheat he had cut in the basket. Although there was a solemnity in the actions of all three men, the gentleness and care with which the third man laid the wheat in the basket stood out for some reason. The man continued the process of cutting wheat and putting it in the basket until it was full, then with practiced ease, tied the wheat into a small bushel with a piece of twine he removed from his waist. He laid the bushel aside, and returned to swinging the sickle and filling the basket. This went on for some time as the man methodically and quickly made bushel after bushel of wheat.
For the first two nights, this is where my dream ended, and as I knew this could not be the end of it, I began to pray that I might either see the conclusion of the dream, or receive the interpretation.
On the third night, the dream began as the previous two nights, with the first man setting fire to one third of the field, the second man flooding one third, and the third man meticulously harvesting the last third, I thought it would be the same dream yet again, until the man with the sickle turned, looked at me and said, ‘the world will know hunger, the faithful will know the power of their God.’ I recognized him; I had seen him in both my dreams and my visions before.
I woke up, and went about my day thinking that I would have the dream again that night, but the dream did not return. I received no further insight or interpretation, but this is what I believe in regards to its meaning:
I believe that a worldwide food shortage is imminent. Whether due to too much sun and not enough rain, or too much rain and unprecedented weather patterns, global agriculture will suffer a severe blow very shortly. I also believe that God has already prepared provision for His children, that He will provide for them, and miraculously so. I do not believe God reveals coming events to His children that they might grow fearful or panic, but rather that they might learn to trust Him, knowing that He who is already into tomorrow, has already made provision for it.
Matthew 6:25-26, Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Matthew 6:31-33, Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek firs the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

no just do your best to store up what you can, and plan to stay home. have protection also. if you go anywhere, have a bag of supplies, food water flashlight, knife, etc in case EMP happens and you have to walk home.
