Herod Struck Down

The fate of one who glorified himself.
–
Acts 12:
22 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.

Self worship is idolatry.
Worshipping any other human being is idolatry.
–
We see this in our culture now, especially in government and entertainment.
–
While God is long suffering, destruction is the end of anyone who engages in idolatry.
–
No good deeds will cancel this, or compensate for this.
–
In Herod’s case, he was struck down immediately for accepting worship, and thinking highly of himself.
All glory belongs to God, not man.
He was infested with “worms” (maybe that and / or bacteria) and died.
So shame and pestilence replaced the glory he thought he had.
It is thought that he was struck with Fornier’s disease, and the internal gangrene infected his urinary tract. His gonads rotted off in a final indignity.

After he said this, his pain was become violent. Accordingly he was carried into the palace, and the rumor went abroad that he would certainly die in a little time.
But the multitude presently sat in sackcloth, with their wives and children, after the law of their country, and besought God for the king’s recovery. All places were also full of mourning and lamentation.
Now the king rested in a high chamber, and as he saw them below lying prostrate on the ground, he could not himself forbear weeping.
And when he had been quite worn out by the pain in his belly for five days, he departed this life, being in the fifty-fourth year of his age, and in the seventh year of his reign.

Soon, we will see worms and pestilence destroy the self glory and hero worship that is in the world.
This will be the 4th seal of Revelation.

If we are guilty of this, we must repent, and turn away from this disgusting behavior.

Recently, the Grammy awards glorified Satan, sex and immorality.
–
Only one decent person got up and left.
–
Soon, all those who participated in the display will suffer as Herod did.
Their world will crash and burn.
They will be filled with pestilence and horror at what they really are full of infestation and pus, instead of glory.
–
I pray they come to the light of the truth, before it is too late.
–
I pray that the Herods of the world repent.
May God save their souls.

How very interesting… I couldn’t bring myself to check out the picture of this affliction: I’ll take your word for it. I too pray for celebrities and politicians, that the deceived ones would turn to God while they still have time.

Me too, could not look at the pictures. Interesting, however!
I’m not sure they glorify Old Knob, but they appear to worship themselves as gods. Lucifer worship, is self worship. Thinking you can control your own destiny. By Honoring Satan, they Honor themselves. Their symbols are the real give away.
It also appears they are to busy thinking about money, and themselves to turn to the love of G-d. I fear it is to late for the world, and we are about to witness very strange, and super natural events.
G-d has remembered his agreement to Abraham, and the final fulfillment to show G-d keeps his promises even when those G-d made the agreement with can not keep their side of the bargain.

For the past 20 odd years we have been telling the preachers to stop worship other preachers, politicians, business leaders etc.
Unfortunately not one would listen.
Maybe it is because they see themselves glorifying another preacher they will be glorified themselves?
A good example was Mandela, how many preachers praised him but behind the media lies he did everything that was antichrist including abortion on demand, same sex marriage, lawlessness and took God out of all government institutions and schools, etc, etc..
For the past 18 months the church we are attending has a Bible preaching man who preaches repentance, do not glorify man, only glorify God etc. And guess what? the church is full the following Sunday!
Believers want to hear the truth, not some luke-warm, feel good sermon.
