How Many Angels Fall from Heaven?

It seems like more than we think.

–

Where we get the number 1/3:

⁴ And his tail drew the third part of the stars [where the stars are angels] of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Rev 12:4

But then there is this passage that follows:

⁷ And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

⁸ And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Rev 12:7-9

So, if 1/3 of the angels were cast out to earth, then there was another group of rebel angels that fought the war in heaven against God and Angel Michael.

If there was another 1 /3 left with the dragon (Satan) for the war in heaven to equally match God’s angels, then this means 2/3 of heaven rebelled against Yahweh God, leaving only 1/3 on Yahweh’s side.

Of course, these are speculative numbers, but it seems one that there are more fallen / rebel angels than there are holy ones.

This might be one of many reasons Yahweh God created man, to replace the angels that were lost.

But man would be tested and found faithful before being admitted to heaven, to avoid another rebellion.

2 Wars

This also means that earth has had its own war going on with the fallen angels, that could possibly equal the one in heaven with the dragon and the rebel angels.

This is one reason why Yahshua/ Jesus came the first time, to empower us to defend ourselves, and defeat the enemy.

Most saints now are facing attacks constantly from demonic realms. I get prayer requests all the time about this, and I am sure many other Christian websites and churches do also. The enemy is trying to wear out the saints. We must remain strong and united.

So there have been two wars, both in heaven and on earth.

And it will all culminate on earth, and will end with the second coming of the Messiah.

Final Thought

There are 2 opposing forces, good vs. evil.

Each person needs to decide which side he/she is on.

Only Yahweh will win.

So, choose victory and holiness, not defeat and vileness.

If you are on the wrong side, consider your ways, repent, and come back to the Creator who loves you, and is waiting to forgive you.
