How YHVH GOD Picks His Figs

People and fruit are not that different.

–

–

My fig tree in my back yard is about 11-12 feet tall.

It must have over a thousand figs on it right now.

The leaves come out before the fruit, and the fruit start finally come out green and hard.

The figs start ripening about mid July.

–

Now that the figs are starting to ripen, I am out there at least once a day.

On the same branch, some figs are still hard and green, and some figs are ready, soft and purple.

Sometimes I find some figs “almost ready,” they are a little soft, but not very soft.

I go ahead and pick them, to keep the bugs from eating them until I pick again.

–

Birds, bees and bugs love the figs, so if I wait too long, all the figs get eaten.

I find some figs partly eaten, but go ahead and pick them.

Then I clean all the figs, damaged and intact.

–

This process goes on for 2-3 months.

It amazes me that side by side, some figs are hard and green right, and others are very ripe.

Same environment, same tree, same branch, but different rates of maturation.

The amount of sunlight does not seem to matter, as figs in the shaded areas can ripen before figs in direct sunlight.

The harvest is a long process.

I get about 20-30 figs a day.

–

For anyone who wants to know, the leaves are edible too, and are best cooked.

–

And the longer the fig stays on the tree, the sweeter it is.

God picks his harvest like he would pick His figs

Leaves (salvations) come first.

All the green figs are produced about the same time, but awhile after the leaves come out.

We are all green figs when first born.

Then we have to live together in the same environments as others, and mature at our own rates

–

Ideally, at least in our own opinion, God harvests us and takes us to heaven when we are ripe and ready.

However, God is aware of the “bees, bugs and birds” who may come to eat us, or pick away at us, something we may not be able to survive.

In the spirit and physical world, these are demons, or people or circumstances that would harm sensitive people.

God foresees the evil and “picks” the sensitive ones early..

They may only be a little “soft,” and not quite ripe

–

In our mind, the person was taken prematurely, but actually, it was right in time to save them.

–

When we hear of such deaths, or harvests, we will then understand that this was the best time for the individual.

–

Most of us are expected to fully ripen, and produce more fruit of our own.

OR….we are still green and hard, and have not repented enough, or gotten close to God yet.

So we end up living longer until God comes for us.

–

Whatever we are going through is “ripening” us, softening our hearts, and making us ready for God to pick us.

We may share the same environment, the same family, the same neighborhood, or social class, but there is something unique about each of us, where we respond and grow at different rates.

In the end, it is all good.

And the longer we can last in this life, and faithfully serve God, the sweeter we are before Him.
