It concerns me when people insist on using ONLY Daniel 2 to predict that the Roman empire will be the beast of end times.
Daniel further explained and identified the beast as a kingdom, consisting of greece, babylon, and medo-persians. A small amount of roman territory is included in the “teeth” of the beast. The beast that is identified as including these territories is the same one described in Revelation 13.
So it is not supposed to convert to Russia, the EU, and the USA. The USA must logically be removed from the scene, since it is a supporter of Israel, and in the end time events, Israel has to stand alone, which causes it to rely solely on God for its support. County demands pastor spend thousands on ‘Major Use’ permit to host friends

A San Diego pastor and his wife claim they were interrogated by a county official and warned they will face escalating fines if they continue to hold Bible studies in their home.
The couple, whose names are being withheld until a demand letter can be filed on their behalf, told their attorney a county government employee knocked on their door on Good Friday, asking a litany of questions about their Tuesday night Bible studies, which are attended by approximately 15 people.
“Do you have a regular weekly meeting in your home? Do you sing? Do you say ‘amen’?” the official reportedly asked. “Do you say, ‘Praise the Lord’?”
The pastor’s wife answered yes.
She says she was then told, however, that she must stop holding “religious assemblies” until she and her husband obtain a Major Use Permit from the county, a permit that often involves traffic and environmental studies, compliance with parking and sidewalk regulations and costs that top tens of thousands of dollars.
And if they fail to pay for the MUP, the county official reportedly warned, the couple will be charged escalating fines beginning at $100, then $200, $500, $1000, “and then it will get ugly.” ………………………………

This news is exciting! And prophetic!
As Bill Salus details in his book, above, a Palestinian State being declared fulfills prophecy and sets the stage for the war launched by the nations in Psalm 83 and for the annihilation of the Palestinians foretold in Obadiah 15-18 and Isaiah 34.
In the world of diplomacy, no top leader of any nation every goes to a summit where he is going to be made to look bad. Nor does a President of the United States hold such a meeting where he and the major participants are going to be made to look incompetent.
In diplomacy, the details of an agreement are nailed down before the summit is announced. When the summit does occur to announce the agreement, the event becomes a staged ‘Photo-Op”. Therefore, I believe that this sudden announcement that the top two leaders of Israel are flying to the White House to hammer out an agreement draft to present to Palestinian President Abbas is highly significant.
At the very least, Israeli and American leaders are in sync, as I am sure the leaders of the European Union. Even if Abbas refuses this offer, like his predecessor Yasir Arafat did in 2000, these Western leaders might just announce a Palestinian State.
Remember, the prophecy does not say that a Palestinian State will actually be established. Listen:
“They shall call its nobles to proclaim the kingdom, but nothing shall be there, and all its princes shall be no more.” (Isaiah 34:12; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)
That time of proclamation may be at hand! If it is, the beginning of the World War III to produce Antichrist on the world scene might be closer than we had originally thought. The only major prophecy to occur then before Antichrist can arise would be the final establishment of all 10 supernations.

It would be more amazing if the Palestinians accepted the Israeli action. To them, a Palestinian state is ALL of Israel, plus the territory they have now.
Saturday evening on his Geraldo At Large program anchored from Haiti and aired on FNS, Geraldo Rivera and his brother Craig reported on an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) field hospital operating in Haiti.
Within 24 hours of the earthquake the IDF had arrived in Haiti and built their field hospital (16 hours flying and 8 hours building).
They have a full operating theater, a pediatric ICU, an Obstetrics facility and about 100 beds, all set up in a tent. The unit is staffed by about 40 IDF doctors.
They are saving lives by preventing infection in neglected wounds and by operating when necessary.
The IDF unit is complemented by a ZAKA unit, the folks who clean up human remains after bombings and provide for compassionate burial.
It is worth noting that ZAKA are primarily orthodox Jews who violated the Sabbath in order to get to Haiti quickly.
Jewish law says saving lives takes precedence over the Sabbath.
There has been a general lack of publicity for this effort .

That is some assurance. But there are also entire Muslim nations who have not said or done anything. I would like to see more participation. Those that are actually there cannot pay for everything, and do everything.
There are several south American Countries in Haiti. Cuba is participating also. Many European countries as well.
Canada is there also, with navy and aid.
I don’t know how much news CNN and FOX brings to the U.S. or if it talks only of itself?

I heard an american soldier explain there had to be some kind of order or they would not be able to give the needed help. Everyone is working hard, overtime. If they did not form a line, the same ones would keep pushing to the front and take everything. The soldier said they give away a week’s supply of food and water at a time, so the same ones do not need to come back so soon.
What is this??

Gaza flotilla participants created war atmosphere before confronting Israel
Participants chanted Islamic battle cry invoking killing of Jews and called for Martyrdom

On the day before the Gaza flotilla confronted the Israeli navy, Al-Jazeera TV documented the pre-battle atmosphere created by men on board the flotilla, who chanted a well-known Islamic battle cry invoking the killing and defeat of Jews in battle:
“[Remember] Khaibar, Khaibar, oh Jews! The army of Muhammad will return!”
Khaibar is the name of the last Jewish village defeated by Muhammad’s army in 628. Many Jews were killed in that battle, which marked the end of Jewish presence in Arabia. There are Muslims who see that as a precursor to future wars against Jews. At gatherings and rallies of extremists, this chant is often heard as a threat to Jews to expect to be defeated and killed again by Muslims.
Al-Jazeera also interviewed a woman who said that the flotilla participants’ goal was “one of two happy endings: either Martyrdom or reaching Gaza.”

I think there were 6 boats……5 cooperated, and really had humanitarian aid. The last boat had militants on it, and were there to fight and cause fighting in Gaza. All went peacefully until this boat was encountered. This boat did not have anyone peaceful on it to begin with. The militants attacked first at close range with guns and other weapons, so Israel fought back.
This is the kind of media that only supports Palestinians. They will present only the “humanitarian” side. The flotilla was a set up. If Israel had let them all go through, they would be experiencing rockets and missiles coming into Israel today, or suicide bombers re-equiped with bombs.
The question is, if the first 5 boats could cooperate peacefully, and their cargo was escorted to the port, why couldn’t the last boat do this?
9 FACTS ABOUT THE GAZA FLOTILLA INCIDENT
1. A state of armed conflict exists between Israel and the Hamas regime controlling Gaza. Under international law, Israel has the right to protect the lives of its civilians and has undertaken measures to defend itself, including the imposition of a maritime blockade to curb the smuggling of weapons by Hamas.
2. Five of the six flotilla vessels offered passive resistance to the Israeli boarding parties, and the redirection of these vessels to Ashdod was accomplished in a peaceful manner. This indicates clearly that Israel had no intention of harming any flotilla protesters.
3. However, the activists on the sixth ship ‘Mavi Marmara’ violently attacked the Israeli landing party with knives, iron bars, hatchets, chains and other weapons. Some activists also discharged firearms and explosives, and threw an Israeli officer over the side of the ship.
4. The premeditated nature of the violence was evidenced by the clubs, knives and bullet-proof vests that were found aboard the ship, and the coordinated actions of the attackers.
5. Having expected behavior in keeping with the flotilla’s numerous declarations of ‘peaceful intent’, the soldiers were instead confronted with a rapidly deteriorating ‘lynch’ situation.
6. After several Israeli personnel were wounded, some critically, the landing party was forced to act in self-defense. Regrettably, nine of the attackers were killed.
7. The organization responsible for the ship, the IHH, promotes an extreme anti-Western agenda which has been implicated in the recruitment and financing of Jihadist terrorists worldwide, including al Qaeda. Large quantities of cash were found on board, some in the pockets of the attackers and most in courier belts ready for transfer to the Hamas.
8. The flotilla’s cargo is being off-loaded in Ashdod and the humanitarian items transferred overland to Gaza in accordance with standard operating procedures. On 1 June, the Israeli Cabinet decided that the participants of the flotilla are to be repatriated as expediently as possible.
9. Israel does not prevent aid from reaching Gaza via established land-based crossings and there is no lack of humanitarian aid to the Strip. Israel repeatedly proposed that the flotilla organizers land in the port of Ashdod and transfer their aid to Gaza through the existing overland crossings. Had the aid been delivered directly to Ashdod in the first place, as Israel offered, the entire tragic incident could have been avoided.
Good for Israel…
You would ONLY see that kind of celebration in Gaza if a large number of Israelis or Americans were killed.
It is obvious that the Flotilla was a deception and an intentional act of provocation. The humanitarian aid got through but the terrorists didn’t.

From the video, this is what Israel’s position was – that was a case of mistaken identity. Israel was being attacked on all sides by Arabs.

Turkey and Hamas, the Islamist group governing Gaza since 2007, teamed up overtly to engineer the exercise for weeks. It was out there to see for all on Al Jazeera. So-called non-governmental aid groups included Turkish militants trained to fight and prepared to shed blood.
There is nothing new about blockades. Britain imposed a blockade in 1982 on the Falkland Islands and levied a 74 days long war, in which 255 British and 649 Argentine soldiers perished, to protect its sovereignty over these far-flung territories occupied by Argentina . Egypt has blockaded Gaza since 2007, reinforced with an 18-feet-deep steel wall to prevent tunnels to Gaza.
IHH, the Turkish group which organized the armada to Gaza which was intercepted by the Israeli navy, had ties in the 1990s to the Al-Qaeda terror network and World Jihad, according to a 2006 study by the Danish Institute for International Studies.
The Gaza flotilla ships held at least 40 professional mercenaries, some affiliated with Al Qaeda, apparently hired to engage IDF soldiers in combat. The Turkish media has revealed that three of the four Turkish victims of the Israeli raid on the Gaza flotilla had previously expressed their desire to be Muslim suicide martyrs.
Flotilla is a Smoke Screen – transfer of humanitarian assistance was not the top priority of the flotilla’s organizers: the 25-odd truckloads of equipment offloaded from the ships is roughly a quarter of the amount Israel transported into the Gaza strip every day. According to the Gaza Coordination and Liaison Administration, 100 truckloads of assorted goods are transferred into Gaza daily.
Israel has loaded 20 trucks with various types of aid found onboard the flotilla but the Hamas is refusing to accept it.
Why are they refusing the humanitarian aid? Because the goal was to start a fight, not get aid they already had.

Kissinger was not President, but served under several. He opposed any support of Israel. And he is thought to have worked with Russia on one of their attacks on Israel.

THe US ship was 20 miles from the Egyptian shore. Egypt was attacking ISrael.
Both the US and ISraeli governments investigated and concluded it was a mistake. Israel paid a penalty to the families of the ship.
Israel was in the middle of the 6 day war in 1967.
At the start of the war on June 5, General Yitzhak Rabin (then IDF Chief of Staff) informed Commander Ernest Carl Castle, the American Naval Attaché in Tel Aviv, that Israel would defend its coast with every means at its disposal, including sinking unidentified ships.
Also, he asked the U.S. to keep its ships away from the shore or at least inform Israel of their exact position.
With the Liberty in international waters and gathering intelligence, the United States did not provide any information about its location. There is an issue of which kind of flag it should have raised to accurately communicate its status. Apparently, only “neutral” as displayed.
The armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon all attacked Israel at the same time, in an attempt to destroy Israel.
Simultaneously, the armies of Kuwait, Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Iraq were contributing troops and arms to the Egyptian, Syrian and Jordanian fronts.
Israel was being fired upon from all directions.
This was no time for a mindless US cruise into waters where war by land, sea and air were going on. It was like floating into a hornet’s nest. The ship could have easily been attacked by any of the waring parties.
By the way, Egypt had a blockade up to prevent Israel from getting oil and other supplies at the time.

TEL AVIV (Reuters) – The chief executive of Leader Capital Markets, one of Israel’s top investment banks, has committed suicide, a company spokeswoman said on Sunday.

Danny Barak, 48, jumped from his office on the 17th floor of one of Tel Aviv’s most prominent office towers on Friday, the spokeswoman said.
Barak, who is survived by his wife and four children, did not leave a note explaining his suicide.
“It is a mystery,” the spokeswoman said.
Barak, who founded Leader Capital Markets, was CEO since 2001. He held 15.5 percent of the company, which is a subsidiary of Leader Holdings & Investments.
“Danny’s professional abilities contributed to the establishment of Leader Capital Markets as a leading entity in Israel’s capital market,” Leader Capital Markets Chairman Yair Fudim said in a statement.
“Danny Barak’s death is a heavy loss not just to our group but to the entire Israeli capital market.”
Following the recent sale of Leader Holdings to businessman Dan David, Barak was due to step down as CEO in 2011 though he had been offered to stay on as chairman of Leader Capital Markets, the spokeswoman said.
The investment bank is engaged in underwriting, corporate research, securities trading for institutional investors and asset management.
Shares in Leader Capital Markets opened down 5.8 percent in Tel Aviv on Sunday morning.

Although Israel is a political entity and exists in a political world, praying for Israel is not a matter of politics but rather an issue of the Word of God and the will of God. Not praying for Israel because of world politics is playing politics with God.
“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.” (Luke 11:2)
The only prayer that Yeshua taught is d isciples should be our model for intercession. In it, Yeshua instructed us to pray for H is will to be done on earth, as it is done in heaven. Our prayers and intercessions for Israel must be based on His will. All we have to do is find out what the will of God is and then pray into those things, holding them before the Lord until He fulfills them.
Where, then, can we find out what the will of God is regarding Israel?
We can find H is will plainly expressed in H is Word. The Word of God is the expression of the will of God, and we can be absolutely certain that if we pray according to H is will, as expressed in the Word, He will bring it to pass.

What then is the will of God for Israel in these last days?
Let’s look at just one portion from the Word of God regarding th is subject.

“Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
“And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
“And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
“I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
“And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

This passage of scripture is part of a much larger portion that speaks about the restoration of Israel in the last days. However, it is enough for us to look at th is portion to be able to grasp the will of God regarding Israel’s restoration.
What is the expressed will of God? What did He prom ise to do in the last days?
1. He prom ised to gather the Jew ish people back from all over the world to the Land of Israel.
2. He prom ised to cleanse us from our filthiness and idols. Th is is a picture of repentance; God has prom ised to bring repentance to the Land.
3. He prom ised to give us a new heart – This is a picture of the New Covenant.
4. He prom ised to put His Spirit in us.
5. He prom ised to give us the Land of our Fathers to dwell in.
6. He prom ised to make us H is People and be our God again – This is a prom ise to restore Israel to be H is Nation again and to be Israel’s God on the national level as well as a personal level.
7. He prom ised to bless and prosper us here in our Land.
God has begun to fulfill every one of these prom ises. Although the Arabs and many of the nations of the world have done their best to stop the aliya (return to the Land) process, they have not been able to do so. In fact, today, Israel is the largest community of Jews in the world.
Certainly, God has also begun to fulfill h is prom ise to make Israel prosperous. In spite of every effort of Israel’s enemies to destroy her and in spite of the great expense needed for security and defense, Israel is booming economically.
One hundred years ago, Israel was a wasteland full of malaria and void of almost any vegetation. Today Israel is blooming and is the world leader in agricultural innovation. Israel is second only to the US in technology and electronic development. It is a world leader is water desalinization, solar energy, medicine and much more. Why is th is so? Because God is faithful to H is word to fulfill it!
What about the spiritual prom ises? One has only to look and see the Body of Messiah in the Land. Almost 10,000 believers, most of them Jew ish, who have been cleansed, washed, forgiven and filled with God’s Spirit. These Israeli believers are only the first fruits and a sign of what is to come.
Before your very eyes God is fulfilling H is Word. Israel’s restoration since the beginning of the last century is a testimony to H is faithfulness.
Christians have the privilege of recognizing these facts and cooperating with the Lord by standing before Him and praying that H is will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven. Do you not want to join the Lord in the great work of restoration by taking these scriptures and praying into them?
“But what about all the bad things that I hear Israel is doing to the Palestinians?” you may ask. No doubt you have heard many bad reports and stories in the media about Israel. Should that stop you from praying? No. It should not stop you from praying for several reasons.
1. The will of God – as expressed here and in many other places in scripture – is not conditional. Notice that God did not prom ise to first save the Jews and then bring them to the Land, when they were worthy of it, but He prom ised to bring the Jews back to the Land and then meet them there and reveal Yeshua to them.
2. Much of what you hear in the media is lies and an expression of anti-Semit ism and hatred for Israel. Islam does not see lying as a bad thing, but only as a tool in the war against the Jews. Many Europeans are willing to believe these lies because there has been an underlying current of anti-Semit ism within much of European culture for many centuries. Actually, Israel has one of the most moral armies in the world.
3. You should know that the enemy is not interested that the Word of God would come to pass. Since Israel is such a key to the fulfillment of God’s will in the last days, Satan will do all he can to stop your praying!
What will be the result of Israel’s restoration? Here are two main results:
1. World peace, eventually. Although there seems to be much turmoil in store for the world in the near future, God has indicated He will speak again to the nations from Jerusalem. Read Isaiah chapter 2, and you will see that peace is the result, not of the agreement of nations in the UN but of the Word of the Lord spoken from Jerusalem to rebuke and judge the nations. Only then, will they turn their swords into plowshares.
2. The restoration of the Body of Chr ist to its fullness – see Romans 11. Paul the apostle clearly states that when Israel is restored, the Body of Chr ist – being part of the Olive Tree – will partake in the blessings of Israel and come into the fullness of what it was meant to be.
