In His Likeness

–

We were created a certain way, but we must pursue the face of YHVH God to stay that way.

–

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

²⁷ So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:26-27

As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. Psalm 17:15

–

Mankind was created to be holy, but fell into sin, and stayed in sin.

YHVH God established a way back to Him through repentance and offerings. The final sin offering was Yahshua/ Jesus.

This salvation through Yahshua restores us to a starting point, as redeemed,

but it does not restore us to holiness.

Holiness is a path, a journey.

Holiness requires obedience and spending time with YHVH God.

This is achieved through repentance, prayer, talking to YHVH with our own words, reading scriptures, meditation, worship and praise, and quiet receptivity, waiting on God to speak to us.

When we continue in this intimacy with YHVH God, we will find that we are less like the world. And God will see us more like the way HE created us to be.

Again, as in Eden, He will see Himself when He looks at us.

For Him, it will be like looking in a mirror at His own image.

And others will see this also, although whether they do or not is only secondary.

The main result for you is total peace, no matter what is going on in the world.
