“Is Not” Will Return As The Beast

This will be controversial, and could be wrong.

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition.

There can be multiple levels of interpretation to scripture, as well as dual, or multiple, fulfillments of a prophecy.

In the above scripture, one can see this as a succession of “kings” or rulers of an empire, or a country.

While America may, or may not, be the location of the Beast personality, this is an exercise in analysis, or a thought problem.

Most nations or empires have had more than 7 rulers, so hence, the 7 kings in the above a scripture must be referring to a certain period of time surrounding the emergence of the Beast (rev 17) and the son of perdition (2 Thess).

From the above scripture, the beast was in power (“is”), goes out of power(“is not”), and then comes back into power a second time as the “eighth.”

So who would that refer to?

The scripture says that one of the kings only continues for a short time, so I would expect him NOT to serve 2 terms. He may possibly serve one or a part of one term.

–

This post is restricted to America, as it would be too much to include every nation and empire.

These are the last 7 presidents of the United States:

All are still alive except Reagan, who died in 2004. His predecessor, Jimmy Carter, is still alive.

The most politically active former president is Obama, who wants to return to power.

The others are mostly retired, or less active, and not showing interest in ruling again.

So the focus is on either Trump or Obama to become “is not” then have a return to power.

Who is the “short timer?”

“when he cometh, he must continue a short space.”

George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter only served one term. Trump just began his first term, so we do not know about a second term for him yet. The others served 2 terms, so they are not the “short timer.”

Since the beast is the 8th, he cannot be the 7th, which

continues for a short time, ie he does not follow

himself in power. He succeeds the 7th. This means

the 7th is the short timer.

If the kings are considered in order of rule, in this set, Carter is the 1st, Reagan 2nd, GHW Bush 3rd, Clinton 4th, GW Bush 5th.

These are “fallen.”

–

The 6th is Obama who “was,” “is,” and ‘is not”….

and the 7th, Trump, is the one who is in for a short time.

Why he is in for a short time is not stated.

If Trump serves a complete term, then he would be equal to the 3rd and 1st kings, and he would not be singled out as the only “short timer.”

So what I see is the first 5 kings as eliminated as the beast, as they are fallen.

And I see as the last king, the short timer, which I believe is Trump, cannot be the beast, as he would not succeed himself.

–

This leaves Obama as the one who “was”, then “is not” then returns to power, and he is the 8th, and the Beast, son of perdition.

While I hope this is not true, America is about to be judged for its sins.

I hope Obama is not the antichrist, and I wish Trump a good long administration.

The future will reveal itself.

And remember, like I said, this is just ONE interpretation of the prophecy.
