I have prepared a set of studies on the nature and purpose of Jesus. According to an ancient prophecy by Daniel, he was to come twice, which answers some issues, but most do not know that. He was to come twice? So when He was born and then…? ‘the rapture’ or the 2nd coming? I believe in both! 🙂

yes, 2 trips, a well kept secret, since people do not go in depth like they should in studying the Word. This is something that Jesus expected the Jewish leaders to recognize…but they didn’t, because they were too hung up on man made laws.
The book of daniel describes 2 events:
1. son of man receives kingdom of god from the Ancient of days and transfers it to the saints
2. the beast (end times) goes to war with the saints, and the son of man returns to save the saints and the kingdom.
So, Jesus did exactly what he was supposed to do, and he will return to fulfill the second part of the prophecy soon. Jesus read the bible and was following instructions!

Hi Catrina, Jesus came first as child born in Bethlehem. At time of rapture he does not come back to planet earth but only to the clouds 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. His 2nd coming will be after tribulation period at the climax of the event known as armageddon.
The whole chapter of Thessalonianians-chapter 4-not only verses 16-17 needs to be addressed to understand if the fly away theory is valid. In the Old Testament there were occasions when an escort was sent out to meet a guest or someone returning after an abscence. The same will occur when Jesus returns-we’ll meet him in the clouds and escort him back to Jerusalem

Jesus said in the bible that only the Father knows when he is coming…..
those that can hear the holy spirit talk have been told that he is coming soon,..
there are also signs that Jesus will be coming back that were listed in the bible, so we would have an idea…the formation of Israel in 1948 was one. jesus said that the generation that was born after that would see much tribulation, and that he would come back to save us and bring us to heaven.

Yes. I notice on the last page of my bible saids that Jesus will be back soon.End is the beginning in either ways. Jesus is coming! 😀
Matthew 24:27-30 “So as the lightening comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man… At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.”
Mark 14:61-62 “Again the high priest asked him, ‘Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?’ ‘I am,’ said Jesus. ‘And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.'”
Revelation 1:7 “Behold , he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen”.
The above refer to his coming to the earth at Armageddon when his foot touches upon the Mount of Olives (Zech 4).
The following verses declare Jesus comes only as far as the clouds:
1 Thessalonians4:13-18 ” But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren,concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words”.
1 Thessalonians 5: 1-10
“But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

“Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth’” (Matthew 28:18).
“Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God” (John 5:17-22).
Jesus had the power to forgive sins and provide everlasting life:
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die” (John 11:25).
“When Jesus saw their faith, He said, ‘Friend, your sins are forgiven.’ The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, ‘Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?’” (Luke 5:20-21).
“For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:40).
“I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life.” (John 6:47).
Please pray for a final decree of Primary Joint Managing Custody for my children. One day when I got home from work my spouse was gone with the children. Gone for about 7 months then when she couldn’t get any money (from the welfare system in another state or child support) she came back with two of my children with delays. They were not taken care of properly with my son who can’t talk any more. When I approached my wife at the time she would dismiss it. So I left her, filed for temporary custody, got it, then I took them to a doctor where she confirmed their delays and neglect. She’s had five older children before the marriage none of which finished high school (3 with delays also) she constantly makes me out the lie to my friends and family, I’ve been betrayed at every hand, she has even separated me from my closest friends in ministry. I am trying to fulfill my call of God but found myself in a Jezebel situation. Please pray against the spirit of witchcraft working through her.

is there any chance we really know for sure that the world will end in 2012 and thats th year jesus is to return?

NO, we do not know for sure which year Jesus will return. There are occult teachings that Satan is planning his own evils for 2012, but God is still in control.
I think there will be some serious problems by that time, because bad things that were prophesied are coming true.
But we just keep our faith and keep trusting in God.
I think the return of Jesus is in the near future, but I cannot promise which year it will be.
correct. you are very well in saying many occult and cult teachings. we need to make sure we areliving right and hassening his coming. his return is near, but no man no knows the hour nor the day, not even the angels.
alot of heretics like jack van Impee and harold camping contie to make these types of predictions but of course they are always wrong b/c they truly don’t know. its called sensationaslism and it gets a bunch of followers to support their ministries and give them money so they can continue. but they don’t have a clue of the date, only the season which is scriptual. just google heretics by these mens names.

There is another possibility here. The truths about the coming Messiah predate the Old Testament. They were written in the stars by means of the ancient star and constellation names. Read “Witness of the Stars” by EW Bullinger. The stars clearly indicate that the Messiah would die and then be raised from the dead. Ancient people were aware of these truths. Pagan myths implying resurrection of their gods probably come from a corruption of primitive truth which was originally recorded in the stars.

i agree with this, especially about the pagans. they would try to make their stories jive with that of a messiah being born according to the star constellations. they were all false gods that these religions served so it would make since that they would have no real evidence to back all their false claims
I cant believe that witch-doctor is gonna come back. I thought they nailed him properly to the cross but I guess he used his magic to escape. I am so scared of him, what should I do to best protect myself. I am thinking of hiring body guards,and learn how to use a gun.
How does he look like, tell me so that I can ask the government to arrest him as soon he appears. But how can be counter his magic??

All of them were seeking Goodness, Truth, Fact and Peace.
They were seeking what JESUS offers!
The problem is that they were seeking in the quagmire of products of the human intellect!
Pointing to what Paul the Apostle said :” I cast all my knowledge down as dung!”, I would like you to know that Paul was many, many times more learned than me.
Instead of debating with anybody, I refer them to the ONE who gives wisdom liberally to all who ask HIM! See James Chapter 1 Verses 5 and 6.
