Jewish Life After Death

Two sincere testimonies, and scripture, require us to redefine who has eternal life with the Father God in heaven.

Christians interpret scripture to say that only born again Christians can enter heaven.

Jewish life after death experiences indicate that very devout, religious Jews may enter also, if they meet the requirements set in the Mosaic law.

How is this apparent conflict resolved?

Holiness throughout time

God set up a set of laws under Moses that defined righteousness and holiness.

History shows that the Jews constantly failed to live up to the requirements.

History also shows that MOST of all humanity cannot do this either.

This is why there was a set of ritual sacrifices set up to make offerings and atonement for sins, and to reconnect with god on a personal level.

The ritual sacrifices were also a lot of work.

The key to a relationship with God in both the old and new testaments was based on FAITH and OBEDIENCE.

This is why Father Abraham was considered “saved” under new testament teachings, as well as many others.

His faith was counted as righteousness, even though he had never heard of Jesus.

This also indicates that if true in the year 30 AD, then it is still true today.

The world was simple then.

The world became increasingly complex, and more of an obstacle to holiness as time progressed.

The Jews coming out of Egypt had to receive more instruction and guidance than Abraham did.

This is because there were more challenges to them in their time and world than what Abraham experienced.

They had lived through 400 years of bondage in a pagan land.

The Jews failed quite a bit, even though holiness was spelled out for them.

There were 613 laws to obey.

Their leaders made it worse for them, adding the dictates and ordinances of man on top of the law.

Still there were observant Jews.

But because the law was very difficult to keep, God promised a new covenant of the heart, which would be superior to the law written on stone.

This is why Jesus came, to usher in the new covenant.

And this is why His sacrifice made unnecessary the ritual sacrifices for sin, and made forgiveness possible for everyone , without “having to work for it.”

While grace abounded under Moses, grace more abounded under Jesus / Yeshua.

We now all had access to the holy spirit for comfort, teaching and guidance, where before, only the occasional prophet would have had access to Him.

While the Mosaic law was excellent, it was also demanding, sometimes beyond the strength of the person to perform every duty.

The Way of Yeshua was the better way, so that no one would perish because they were weak and unable to perform.

Still, Jesus said that the narrow way was the path to holiness, not the wide path, which led to destruction.

This meant the path to holiness could still be difficult and require great commitment.

Today, the world is corrupt in a massive way.

Holiness is almost impossible.

Law vs. Grace, or Both?

People make an “either law or grace”  argument today.

Most abandon the law, because they think grace is the easy path, and permissive when it comes to obeying the law.

Those who obey the law are accused of being legalistic, and trying to get saved by works.

Jesus said he did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it.

This means the law still holds, for those who can follow it.

It is understood that following the law just for legalistic reasons is not acceptable, but to follow the law with one’s whole heart, mind and strength is still inside god’s will.

In fact, this is what God commanded to begin with.

Jews follow the law and believe grace is there for them.

To be considered obedient, they have to obey ALL the law of Moses.

The only consideration is that the Temple was destroyed, so they cannot offer sacrifices there.

So instead, they do “mitzvahs” and daily prayers, in place of animal sacrifices.

While there are different disciplines within Judaism, the Orthodox come closest to obeying all 613 commandments.

ISRAEL-RELIGION/WOMEN

If God expects only the strictest observance to His Torah, for covenant compliance, and acceptance into heaven, then only the most Orthodox would fit this description, while other religious Jews would not meet the standards.

The others would be considered less observant.

This is the small remnant that seems most likely to be “saved,” if they are really compliant.

BUT…….

Jesus said there was only one way to the Father, and that was through HIM.

So how do we resolve this?

AGAIN……

Jesus said he did not come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it.

This means the law still holds, for those who can follow it.

God’s covenant with Israel is an EVERLASTING covenant.

Many old testament Jews were mentioned in the NEW testament as being saved by faith and by obedience.

God will still honor His covenant with Israel, as long as they honor it too.

There is also the exemption, sometimes called the “law of the gentiles.”

Romans 2:

13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

15 Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

So if this understanding can apply to gentiles who

by nature obey God, then it should also apply to

righteous Jews who, knowing the law, obey God as

well.

He was a sinner and drug addict, and died in a taxi

After he died, he felt the glory and peace of universe

29 min mark…… met angel of death, utter darkness, thick, suffocating, tearing him apart.

He cried out to God for help

Then by 42 min……..light triangle shaped appeared, and came closer, and enveloped him

By 47min……..God was downloading billions of gigibites of information into him, flooding truth into him, and this was great relief and pleasure.

By 53 min……..he was in heavenly court, surrounded by righteous Jews, and they were seeing all his sins, and judging him as prosecutors

Deeply embarrassed and shamed, as he saw his sins affected everyone there

Garments are to be worn, and each mitzvah or good deed, clothes a soul…..and each bad deed created a blemish….but he was naked, had no garment at all…..exposed all his sins , deep shame

He had not just failed them, he failed God.

He could not see God, but he heard God’s thoughts toward him.

He could feel the disappointment of God toward him.

He was given a choice, obey God or go into utter darkness,

To keep from going into utter darkness, which he found scary beyond words, he had to agree:

To obey the covenant in all its detail.

To fix mistakes, and

to tell others his experience.

If he wanted to avoid darkness….there would be no second chance for mercy.

He was returned to life because of this agreement.

His life changed dramatically, and now he is very devout Jew, and honors God with his life.

He did not meet Jesus.

He was in a different court.

Apparently he was being judged by the Mosaic law, which is very strict and hard to obey perfectly.

He met angel of death. Not Jesus.

So there is a different judgment of a Jew.

But it is still godly judgment.

Scary figures woe to him, forms surrounded him,

Interesting points:

Jews with the NDE were not directed to accept Jesus as messiah, but to be good Jews.

Judged by OT standards and covenant.

There is a place for religious Jews in heaven.

They may not be with Jesus in a higher “mansion,” but there is a place of rest for them.

Many mansions in heaven

Devout Jews may never see the Father or have access to Him, if they make it to heaven.

They may never meet Jesus either.

They may never rule and reign with Him.

But they will find peace and rest in a special place there.

Remember, the path is narrow….for both born again Christians, and even more narrow for devout Jews.

God is faithful, to keep all His covenants with man.

He has only made covenants with

1.. Jews, through the Mosaic covenant.

2.. Christians, through the blood of Jesus.

God has not made any other covenants with any other people group.

So, the choice is either the Mosaic Law, and observing the 613 commandments.

Or

Accepting Jesus as Savior, and accepting forgiveness of sins through his death on the cross.

If you choose the Mosaic law, realize it is very hard to keep.

Even Paul the devout apostle admitted this.

If you choose this, you will find peace and rest in next life.

But you will not see the Father.

If you choose Jesus/ Yeshua , then Jesus will carry your yoke for you, and make your burden light.

He has made the sacrifices for you.

And he has made the Holy Spirit available to all those who call upon His Name.

And when you die, you will be with both Jesus and the Father.

  2. Very well written. I’ve always had a nagging question about Scripture that perhaps you have an opinion on. Namely, why does a Creator need a covenant with his creation? When God said, If you will be my people, I will be your God, what was the point? The israelites were his children whether they accepted him or not and God couldn’t very well reject them, could he, if they chose not to accept him. What could possibly cause God to feel the need for a contract, especially when he supposedly already knew the outcome? …unless he was worried about that which he could not control – so he commanded, “Thou will have no other gods besides me.”

      There is a difference between being a creation,or natural child of God, and being a spiritual child of god.

      the covenant was to elevate the person to a spiritual level, to make the relationship with god more intimate.

      the more intimate the relationship, the more holy the person became, and the more they shared the goodness of god

      the contract was to define what was necessary to achieve this….

      man is naturally bound to this world, and the contract set guidelines, to help free the person from this bondage, and protect him from dangers in the world.

      the covenant was like a hedge of protection around them….as long as they stayed inside the hedge of protection, they were safe, prosperous, an victorious in this life….if they strayed from this area, and went outside the guidelines, they got hurt.

      then they had to repent and come back inside again.

      so the covenant kept them safe and close to God.

    I have always wondered about Enoch and how could he have possibly walked with God if he wasn’t washed in the blood of Jesus. Here are my thoughts on Enoch:

    Very little is written about Enoch. According to the Bible, Enoch lived 365 years; the last 300 years of his life Enoch walked with God. The number 365 is significant. There are 365 days in a complete year. Enoch living 365 years is a foreshadowing of the complete man of God (man of faith or man of obedience).

    Recently I have heard of a pastor who preached that Adam and Eve were banished from the Garden of Eden, not because they sinned against God, but because they did not repent of their sin. Scripture never tells us that Adam repented of his sin or that Adam walked with God after he and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden. So why was Enoch different? Enoch was born with Adamic Sin. How did Enoch walk with God?

    Enoch, no doubt, offered the required blood sacrifices unto the Lord for his sins and the sins of his family. This was before the Law, the Prophets and the New Testament. Not only did Enoch, by faith, offer an excellent sacrifice unto the Lord, but I believe, that Enoch truly repented of his sin and believed on the finished work of the cross before the fact.

    Faith in God transcends time and space. The Lamb of God was slain before the foundation of the world (Revelation 13: 8): somehow Enoch knew this truth from oral tradition or from revealed knowledge. He put his faith in the coming Messiah, died to self-will and was able to walk with God.

    Enoch, by faith, was translated and did not experience death. Before he was translated, his testimony was that he had pleased God. It is only by faith (obedience) that we are able to please God.

      I agree. enoch lived before the mosaic law. all god required was faith and obedience.

      I really do not know about Adam not repenting….it was a brief summary in genesis…it did not give all the details.

    • In the book of Jasher it talks that Enoch had a countenance of God about him & that it scared many who saw him! It seems he had the shekinah glory ! It is said that a nineteenth century woman named Fanny Jane Crosby a lifetime blind woman who was a keyboardist/song-writer/preacher/teacher sometimes folk saw this “glow” around her!

  6. That’s a lot to take in, Marianne. I never quite looked at it this way. Thank you for offering the insight. 613 laws. I have a hard enough time keeping my ego in check, and having true humility. And even that is through grace.

  11. My first thought was that Jesus/Yeshua said “6 Yeshua said, “I AM the Way — and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

    Interestingly, the Torah is also referred to as the Way, Truth and Life.

    Psalm 119:1
    Psalm 119: 142
    Deut 32:46-47

    Torah also means Instructions.

    Yeshua is considered to be the Torah made flesh.

    John 1: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God……verse 14 The Word became a human being and lived with us, and we saw his Sh’khinah, the Sh’khinah of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth

    So understanding the above, It would make sense that Orthodox Jews who know to follow Torah are also following their Messiah, Yeshua. They are blinded in part, Romans 11:25, but according to Romans 11:26, ALL of Israel will be saved.

    Regarding your comment about the covenant:

    He has only made covenants with

    1.. Jews, through the Mosaic covenant.

    2.. Christians, through the blood of Jesus.

    The (renewed) Covenant has been made with the House of Israel and House of Judah, Jeremiah 31

    There is no mention of christians, church or gentile. In order to partake of this covenant, one must be a part of and/or grafted into the Olive Tree-Israel (which consists of both the House of Israel and House of Judah) see Romans 11

    Abraham did indeed know of Jesus and met him:

    “.Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”

    “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”

    “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”

    Jesus was the One who met with Abraham at his tent with the two angels who were on their way to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah.

    Regarding who will have eternal life, whether it be those who were under thte law of Moses or those who belong to the church, they both require faith. The Law of Moses and faith went hand in hand. Paul speaks about this very issue:

    “What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith; but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness, have not attained their goal. Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.”

    Witout faith it is impossible to please God no matter what time period in history. Everyone who has the same faith as father Abrahm is credited with righteousness. Anyone today who is not trusting in Christ, but in their own efforts to inherit the kingdom of God will not enter in.

      what I meant was he did not meet jesus as “jesus, the savior”…

      he met someone for brief moment in time, that he called Lord, who did not come as messiah to him, because it was not time for the messianic mission to be accomplished.

      jesus did not say to abraham that he was the messiah to come, and all that he was going to do, to be crucified and die for sins….he came for a different purpose.. to discuss the birth of Isaac and the condition of sodom and gomorrah

      abraham met the Lord in his “pre-earth” state, in his glory

  13. As far as the after-life experience of Mr. Anava, I don’t believe it was real nor metaphorical. Jews do not believe they go to heaven when they die and the Torah and Jesus did not teach it.
    Read Ezekiel 37 which describes the resurrection, Even Jesus gave us the lord’s prayer in which we look to the coming kingdom on earth.
    Surely if any Old Testament person should have gone to heaven it would be King David, yet here is what the bibile says has happened to him:

    For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
    .
    Acts 2:29
    Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

    So if David was still dead in his grave, then you must assume that all other Jews (and Christians) who have died are asleep in their graves awaiting the Second Coming and the first resurrection.

    Here is what Jesus has to say about the first resurrection:

    Revelation 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
    .
    Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
    .
    SO, the blessed and holy (dead) are resurrected at the Second Coming and meet Jesus in the clouds. They do not come down from heaven with Him.
    Nowhere in the bible does it teach that the dead, neither Jews nor Christians) go to heaven (nor hell) when they die. Only misinterpretations of parables – no direct and clear verses from God.
    .
    Therefore, everything about this post is wrong.
    It is false teaching, plain and simple.

      I know some jews personally, and they think they go to heaven, or the “garden of eden” when they die.

      they are not waiting for the resurrection of the dead

      that is a separate event, reunion of body and soul at end times….for some purpose on earth

      before that, the soul is in heaven

      Rebut:
      Being asleep, that is, dead, always refers to the body and not the soul/spirit. It is the body that is asleep in the earth waiting to be resurrected and reunited with their soul/spirits. The event of Lazarus and the rich man of Luke 16:19 is a good example demonstrating conscious awareness after death, and their are many more. Before Christ came, the OT saints went to that place across from Hades, which is where father Abraham and Lazarus were, which was a place of paradise within the earth and on the other side was Hades, a place of torment in flame. The word “diaphthora” translated “Corruption” simply means decay and does not infer that king David was spiritually lost or anything of that nature.

      Rebut:
      The verse above is referring to the unfaithful from the beginning of time. These are the unredeemed dead who will stand before God at the great white throne judgment and will be judged according to all that they have ever done. These are the lost dead, those without faith and those who do not have the blood of Christ covering them. The reason that they do not come to life at the same time that the great tribulation saints do, is because they do not belong to the first resurrection. For if they did, then the second death would have no power over them. The souls/spirits of these people come out of Hades and like the rich man, will have been in torment in flame leading up to that judgment only to be thrown into the lake of fire.

      The resurrection that you are referring to in Rev.20:4 are specifically the great tribulation saints and not the church or anyone else. The on-going problem expositors make is making the resurrection and catching away of the church and Jesus’ return to the earth to end the age as being synonymous, when they are two different events. The other error that they make is when reading “This is the first resurrection” they interpret it as being the only resurrection. That fact is that, there are stages or phases to the first resurrection. The first resurrection could be better stated as, all resurrection which take place prior to the end of the thousand years. Here is a list of all of the resurrections which are mentioned in Scripture:

      * Jesus the first fruits of those who fall asleep

      * The church at his appearing (1 Thes.4:16, 1 Cor.15:51-53)

      * The male child/144,000 who are caught up to his throne

      * The two witnesses

      * The great tribulation saints

      The above are stages belonging to the first resurrection of which Jesus is the first fruits of and the church is next, which is what we should all be watching for and anticipating. So to recap, the resurrection and the catching away of the church is a completely different event from when Jesus returns to end the age. In fact, the church is the one coming down with Christ dressed in fine linen, white and clean and riding on white horses, which are his called, chosen and faithful servants.

      Another problem that arises by attempting to make Rev.20:4 being the resurrection of the church is that, it would put the entire church through the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments, which is the day of the Lord, the wrath of God. Those who have received Christ are not appointed to suffer wrath and that because Jesus already suffered the wrath that we deserve. That wrath that is coming will be upon all the ungodly, the proud, the haughty, those who continue to live according to the sinful nature, those who have rejected God’s salvation through the shed blood of his Son Jesus Christ. God does not punish the righteous with the wicked. Since this is going to be worldwide destruction, God is going to first remove his church, the dead and the living and then his wrath will be poured out. Even the great tribulation saints who get caught in that time will be exposed to God’s wrath.

      My advice to you is to get away from the teaching of amillennialism, for it is one of the most destructive and deceptive teachings in the world.

  14. jim, you’re right about Christians interpreting Scripture that only they will be saved. In that regard, Jesus, himself, said that, “Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews” (John 4:22). However, Judaism does teach that there is an afterlife, Deuteronomy 30:12 being just one example.

  15. Salvation is not matter of ethnicity, for there is neither Jew nor Greek in the body of Christ. (Gal 3:28).

    Naturally, the continuing obstinacy, and sense of superiority on the part of many Jews on account of their former exclusive chosenness predisposes them to deny all scripture that states clearly that “Israel” is God’s designated name for His chosen, which of course, now, comprises of both Jew and Gentile under the New Covenant.

    Yes James, plain and simple.

    “For David did not ascend to heaven…………..”. ( Acts 2:34)

    “No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven–the Son of Man.”. (John 3:13)

    “Jesus answered, “I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. No one comes to the Father EXCEPT THROUGH ME”. (John 14:6)

  16. Abraham kept Torah ( instructions, not law) Gen26, and was also a man of faith. The one is not exclutionary of the other. Same thing with rabbi Saul who declared that he believed in everything written in Torah. All the Nazarene Jewish disciples of the Jewish Messiah kept Torah the same way He did. Yeshua came for the Jew first.

  18. I cannot agree with any of this. They need to believe in Jesus, no exceptions.
    “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES IN HIM shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
    Jesus said He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, NO ONE comes to the Father but THROUGH Him. (Not shouting, caps are for emphasis)

    Do we put our trust in NDE’s or in the Word of God? Even the devil can present himself as an angel of light.

    NO ONE CAN KEEP THE LAW. This is what Apostle Peter told the sect of Pharisees who believed:
    “But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.” (Acts 15:5)
    Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a YOKE on the neck of the disciples WHICH NEITHER OUR FATHERS NOR WE WERE ABLE TO BEAR? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ WE SHALL BE SAVED IN THE SAME MANNER AS THEY.” (Acts 15:10-11)

    “Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you: “Behold, you despisers, Marvel and perish!     • I see your point, but, even though no one can keep the law perfectly, the bible says there are plenty of OT saints in heaven…..they were not perfect, but God looked at their hearts, faith, and their repentance.

      this is post presented as a theory since the NDEs indicated some hope for those who follow the law of the gentiles, which would also include devout jews, who have not been taught the gospel.

      I can tell you from personal knowledge of many of them, that many Jews, and others, who are gentiles, have more of the love of God in them than most christians. And they do, by the spirit, what is taught in the gospel, without knowing it is the gospel.

      • Just adding some scriptures by Apostle Paul that says there is salvation in no other. Through prophet Isaiah, God speaks about the foundation, the cornerstone (Jesus) and then Paul speaks about how the Jews rejected Him and Paul mentions that there is salvation by NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN, but Jesus.
        No man can keep all of the law, I don’t care who says they can, they are liars, they can not! If any man can keep the whole of the law, Jesus’ coming was futile.
        Salvation is in Jesus Christ of Nazareth and in Him alone, no sneaking into the sheepfold via some other way.
        Jesus is the gate and He said that anyone who tries to enter in another way is a thief and a robber!

            That is to be understood hypothetically because NONE can keep the law perfectly. ALL have sinned, even believers in Christ are not without sin, but we are declared righteous because we are in Christ and therefore by Christ the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in us. How are we doers of the law? By loving God, loving our neighbour and bearing one another’s burdens fulfills the law of Christ. Love fulfills the law. We have to be IN CHRIST. Without Christ it is impossible.

                The Word of God stands forever! Without Christ, no one gets saved. No one can keep the law perfectly…no one, except Jesus. No one can enter Heaven, but by the door which is Jesus Christ. As for love, the Bible is VERY clear about love, that LOVE fulfills the law. Love is an action, something we do. We don’t just say it and think it, we DO it, we LIVE it. That’s what God is concerned about, what is in our hearts and whether we are in Christ, because when we are in Christ, we have His love for God and people in our hearts. How do you bear one another’s burden?….someone is hungry, you feed, someone is thirsty, you give a drink, someone is naked, you clothe, someone is mourning, you mourn with them, I could go on and on.

    • There is a book out by a man(Don Richardson) who was a missionary to the Asmat people of New Guinea, Eternity In Their Hearts. This book talks about a “Devout Folk Monotheism” that is older than Christianity & Judaism & excisted even into the 20th century & how such folk had a very high rate of Christian revival when the Gospel came to them. Remember like Corneilius in the book of Acts was neither a Jew or Christian but was called ‘Devout’ & responded to the Gospel when it came to him. The book talks about many cultures that had this aspect even going back to the earliest days of their history many thousands of years ago!!!!!

  19. Yes, but the point remains that, no one will be saved by their own efforts, not those under the Law of Moses nor those who belong to the Church. Faith has always been a requirement for salvation in both covenants. Those under the Law of Moses could not be saved by observing the Law of Moses by performing works, as the Law had to be obeyed with faith as its foundation. Paul goes on to say that Israel did not obtain righteousness because they sought after it as though by works instead God’s way, which is by faith. The Law could never save anyone, as it was put in place to demonstrate how utterly sinful we are.

    Furthermore, the same blood that covers us, also covers those OT saints. For regarding this Scripture says:

    “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he declares sinners to be right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.”

    Therefore, according to what Paul states above, God left the sins committed prior Christ’s coming, that is, those saints who had faith prior to Christ’s sacrifice are also covered by his shed blood, their sins having been unpunished.

    Like father Abraham, all who have faith are credited with righteousness.

    The righteous will live by faith.

Today we are saved by grace through faith apart from the observance of the Law of Moses and that because Jesus met the righteous requirements of the law on our behalf fulfilling them perfectly and nailing them to the cross. Our focus should be on Christ as the author and finisher of our faith. We are free in Christ, but as Scripture says, let us not use our freedom to fulfill the desires of the sinful nature, but for righteousness sake.

        “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.”

        In the above Scripture, Jesus makes it clear that he came to fulfill the law and the prophets. That is, to meet their requirements, fulfill them, to bring them to completion, to satisfy them. He is not saying that he came to perpetuate the Law of Moses, that is, to keep it going, but to fulfill it and bring it to its end.

        Anytime a person brings in their own efforts as requirement along side the shed blood of Christ, they are basically saying that his sacrifice was insufficient for salvation.

          Using ESword, the definition for lawlessness and/or iniquity, depending upon translation, is “transgression of law”.

          Using ESword again for the word “fulfill”, you’ll see that one of the definitions is “fully preach”.

          According to your interpretation, Jesus said He didn’t abolish the law but came to abolish the law. It makes no sense whatsoever.

          Even Paul states in Romans 3:31 that we are to uphold the Torah/instructions /law.

          No matter what you choose to believe, the fact remains that YHWHs laws, His Torah/Instructions are still in effect and never nailed to the cross and never done away with.

          To say that Jesus/Yeshua did this, you are saying that He negated His Father and therefore disqualify Him as the Messiah.

          Jesus/Yeshua NEVER negated His Father, NEVER did away with His Fathers Law/Torah/Instructions and tells you clearly in both Matthew 5:17 and Matthew 7:21-23 the Law is still in effect and if you teach otherwise, you will be the least in the kingdom according to Matthew 5 and according to Matthew 7, you risk hearing “get away from me, you workers of lawlessness”.

            Here is the acid test:

            Jesus is standing in front of you. Behind him is the kingdom of God. He asks you, “Why should you be allowed in here?” And your answer is?

            If your answer is, Lord I kept the Sabbath on Saturday, or I abstained from certain foods, or I kept these feasts and holy days, or clothed and feed the poor, you will not enter in. Because it is Jesus who purchased us with his righteous blood and we can take no credit for salvation. Any good works that we do should be for the glory of God and by doing so we also build up our treasures in heaven. But, if your entrance into the kingdom of God is based on your own efforts, then that person will never enter in. Even with the Scripture that you used you demonstrate that:

            “Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants. On that Day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’

            In the Scripture above, their very response to the Lord reveals why they will not enter in:

            ” Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ ”

            Those in the example above, believe that they will have the right to enter into the kingdom of God because of their own efforts as can be seen by the words “Didn’t we.” But the right answer and attitude should have been, Lord, Lord, didn’t you shed your blood for us. This is the only way that anyone can receive salvation and the promise of eternal life and that by faith in the shed blood of Christ. Anyone who is attempting to work to enter in, never will.

            You all need to go back and read Roman’s, Galatians, Hebrews and all of the other Scriptures that is written regarding the subject of Grace vs. works. My only claim to salvation is the shed blood of Christ, for He paid the price in full purchasing me for God. When anyone trusts in their own works as a requirement along side of his payment, then that person will not enter in. Jesus he is not sharing the credit and that is what a person is attempting to do when adding their own requirements. As I said before, by doing so, they are basically saying that Christ’s sacrifice was insufficient.

            From the responses of so many people, I can see why so many will not enter into the kingdom of God and that because they don’t understand salvation. Salvation is a free gift from God, so when a person believes that they must do good works in order to obtain it, it is no longer a free gift, but something that is trying to be earned. Anyone who is trusting in works is not trusting in Jesus.

            “Now to the one who works, their wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.”
            (Rom.4:4-5)

You are mixing scriptures with your short-sighted understanding of what you are reading. I am sure you will not see it, either due to blindness or an unwillingness to actually deal with it.

How can people study scripture, to the degree we know many on here do. and totally overlook or not see what it clearly says?                 I would ask you the same question.

                The word of God goes into great detail showing that we are saved by grace through faith and this not by our own efforts. It is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. Yet, so many people refuse to let go and trust in Christ’s sacrifice alone for salvation. And by doing so, it will have the opposite affect on the one who is trusting in their own works. That is, it will keep that person from of eternal life. Anyone who goes to the Lord with their works as a means of salvation and they will be cast out. Now before someone says anything, we should have a natural desire to perform good works because the Spirit of God dwells in us, but those works should be done to glorify God and of course benefits those to whom the good work is being done. And by doing so we also build up our treasures in heaven. But as i said, if anyone is doing goood works as a means for earning salvation, they will fail and that because Jesus alone provided salvation for us be the shedding of his blood and he’s not sharing the credit. He also fulfilled the righteous requirements of the law, completely fulfilling it, so that we are no longer under the law. The law couldn never save anyone and only brings wrath to those who attemp to keep it and that because no is able keep the law.

          • Regarding Rom. 2, your post seems to infer that the Gentiles have some other kind of law. All the Scripture is saying is that, the Gentiles who don’t have the written code (Law of Moses) are attempting to keep the law, where the Jews who have the law are not keeping it. It is the same law.

            “So then, if those who are not circumcised keep the law’s requirements, will they not be regarded as though they were circumcised? The one who is not circumcised physically and yet obeys the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.”

            • Romans 2 discusses the fact that some gentiles, or peoples, who do not even know the law , still follow it, due to their own inner nature knowing good vs evil. these people are considered righteous:

              14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

              15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

              16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

              so if THEY are considered righteous, who follow the law unknowingly, why not jews who DO OBEY the law…..if they do it out of love for God?

    Did you get that! Not following His instructions amounts to His people not acknowledging Him anymore. Yah gave them over to this because they refused to obey His Word. His instructions (laws) were never meant to take the place of the shed blood of Messiah, but rather to keep us on the right path in this world we are now in.

    Unfortunately, you (and most of the Christian Church) are an unwitting pawn of the enemy, but yet you feel this holiness in your endeavors. You need to get some understanding in all of this. You are doing more harm than good when it comes to the unlearned and unstable. You are doing nothing less that promoting lawlessness of the most vile nature by your generalized comments that Yah’s eternal Word has been nullified and rendered useless. It is this thinking that has gotten America where it is today and will be the reason we, as a nation, will be destroyed, even as Sodom and Gomorrah in the very near future! Wake up Don!!!

      First of all, you are already on the wrong track. Not being under the works of the law of Moses does not equal free reign for a person to do whatever they want. Anyone who thinks this way, as Paul said, their condemnation is deserved. We are not under the Law of Moses, we follow in the new way:

      ” But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit.”
      (Rom.7:6)

      If we are walking as Christ walked, we will not be living according to the sinful nature. I’ll use myself as an example, I don’t get up an reread the ten commandmants to make sure that I don’t fail at them. I have never put myself under the law nor have I ever done good works in order to earn my salvation. I am confident that Jesus made the payment for my sins in full and there is nothing else that I need to do to complete his sacrifice. If I sin, either by deed or thought, I confess it and he is faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse me of all unrighteousness. So let me be clear, not being under the law of Moses is not a license to continue in the acts of the sinful nature. Just so you understand that, because I don’t like it when people wrongly accuse me and that because they don’t understand.

      Furthermore, all of those people and their actions above that you give as an example are not Christians, but people who are living according to the sinful nature. They are surely not following after Christ! My teaching is that we are not saved by fulfilling the works of the Law, but by faith in Jesus Christ apart from observing the works of the law. Attempting to meet the requirements of the law is trying to earn salvation by your own efforts. That’s what I teach! I have not taught nor condoned all that you have mentioned above. Those people above are living according to the sinful nature, plain and simple. For if they were true believers, they would be following Christ and would be fighting to keep their flesh under control in order to stay in step with the Spirit.

      Anyone who is trusting in their own works as a means of obtaining salvation will not enter into eternal life and that because they are essentialing saying that Christ’s sacrifice was insufficient.

        I hope the day finds you well! We know that Yah began His commands with man, right after Adam was created. He did not offer His Words to Adam as a suggestion or just a good idea for him to follow, but rather with a forceful COMMAND with a dire warning attached to it if he didn’t keep it. Adam was basically perfect in his ways at this time and the Ruach of Yah was present in him. He knew fully what was going on. Even with all of that, the first man and woman failed when approached by the enemy.

        Yah ended scripture with his final command to man. He did not offer His Words to Man as a suggestion or just a good idea for him to follow, but rather with a forceful Command with a dire warning attached to it if man didn’t keep it, concerning adding to or taking away from His Word. Even with all that, only the remnant will enter the Kingdom as those honored as faithful son’s and daughter’s of the King. But with them, will also be those who are considered least in the Kingdom for having approached His Word (Commandments) with a willful disregard.

        Yahshua said this concerning His Word:

        Notice if you will Don, a forceful Command is given with a dire warning attached. All of this occurs during the Millennial reign of Messiah in the 7th day.

        The Commandment has always been with man and will always be,
        until sin and the enemy are eradicated at the end of the 7th day!

        This will be a tough time for any who decide Yah’s Commands or Feasts are “abolished” and done away with! None of us are above or outside of Yah’s Commandments. If you believe you have that special place, you will of necessity, find out the hard way. If the words of the Apostles don’t seem to line up with the Words of Messiah, take a guess at where the breakdown occurs!! I find it interesting that the Christian Church, at least for the most part, disregard the Words of Messiah in this instance, and cling solely to what they choose to believe the Apostle Paul is saying. If Paul’s words don’t seem to agree with Messiah’s words, you had better dig a little deeper and throw off your predisposed understanding of things!!

      Though we are truly in the last days leading up to the day of the Lord, the 6th seal cannot take place until the previous seals are opened. The seals, trumpets and bowl judgments will be unprecedented events. The darkening of the sun is not going to be your typical solar eclipse, nor is the darking of the moon going to be your typical lunar eclipse. As I said, these events will be unprecedented and not calculable.

      The 1st seal is the emergence of the antichrist, the rider on the white horse which is totally different from the rider on the white horse of Rev.19:11 who is the Lord. That being said, we have yet to see the 1st seal opened. Next is the rider on the red horse who is given power to take peace from the earth so that men kill each other. And I don’t believe that it is just referring to armies fighting each other, but people in general. That he is given a large sword, means that his campaign is world-wide, that is, peace will be taken from the whole earth. Then we have the 3rd seal which is literal famine. Seal number 4 is an accumlation of the previous seals and will result in a fouth of the worlds “immediate” population being killed. That would be over 1.5 billion people. Suffice to say, this has not yet taken place. The event of the sun, moon and stars at the 6th seal must take place after those events just previously mentioned and so the world must see those events take place first in order to make the claim of the 6th seal.

    I wish this was true…but if this is true then Paul was uninformed. And then all scripture is not inspired because Paul wrote most of the New Testament. Read Romans 10 and 11. In that context Paul was clear on the point that the Jews who rejected Jesus are not saved.

    I believe that Israel as a nation will be converted in the end times under the reign of Antichrist (Zechariah 12). I believe Israel is Yahweh’s apple of His eye. To take “after life experiences” as superior to what the Bible teach is very dangerous. We may teach something which will lead to eternal destruction and damnation of people. The book of Romans is so clear on the point of salvation: it was never by obeying the Law but by a trusting faith in the Lord that people are saved. In other words: relationship with God. This is the only way how we can obtain righteousness with God.

    That is assuming that you take the scriptures literally, which of course Judaism does not (with respect to the Jewish Bible). In addition, early Christian philosopher Origen also said that the Genesis story was allegorical, although many Christians believe otherwise. Therefore, one has to ask themselves where did the Israelite scribes of 500B.C. (or so), who first wrote the Genesis story, get the story from? After all, after the Genesis story there is a very large gap (any oral tradition of this period is totally missing), other than info on the family tree some of which is not even right, until you get to Abraham at which point there apparently was some oral tradition about Abraham and his descendants that might have been handed down from generation to generation. The oldest texts of any kind, that anyone knows of, are the Sumerian texts and the Bible tells us that Abraham and his ancestors came from Sumeria. So it would only be logical to read the texts that might well have served as the basis of the Israelite oral tradition on Genesis. The real story might surprise you.

        The link leads to a very long essay and many Scriptures quoted within. I’m in agreement with the link you provided – Egypt/plages are a foreshadow to coming events. I’m a child of light not of darkness.

        When reading through the linked essay I found these two quotations (coincidence) side by side –

        Isaiah 26:20-21 “Come, my people, enter your chambers, And shut your doors behind you; Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, Until the indignation is past. For behold, the LORD comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity…”

        Zep 2:3 “Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the LORD’s anger.”

        I became very familiar with Isaiah 26:20 and 21 about 2 years ago. It is one of the insights for why the wise virgins remain in the house and protected from the indignation, while the foolish virgins go out looking for oil (Matthew 25:1-10).

        So what about Zephaniah?

        This passage is a call to repentance.

        # 2 Have self-control.

        A practical application of “self control” is fasting with prayer. It is an act of humility, giving up food as a practical way to deny self and seek Him.

        Also, please see Joel 2:12-17. This passage is for Israel (remnant) but also for me in the USA (belly of the Beast, 666).

        # 3 We should wear faith and love to protect us [L put on the breastplate/body armor of faith and love], and the hope of salvation should be our helmet [Is. 59:17].

    Many in Christianity are taught that all they have to do is believe and leave out the part of obeying because according to them the Law/Torah, YHWHs instructions are nailed to the cross, which is a lie.

    We see the same message given in Jeremiah and in Matthew. It is a warning to make sure we are “gathering” and not “scattering” Yah’s sheep-His people. We know that Ephraim and Judah each went their separate ways during the days following Solomon’s death, by the will of Yah, and so it has been until our time. The end of days is not singularly about the Jews (House of Judah) OR the Christians (Ephraim-House of Israel) as separate entities. It is about the restoration of ALL ISRAEL-both Judah and Ephraim as one in Eretz Yisrael.

    Those of Judah and Ephraim who preach-teach-or endeavor to keep apart Yah’s people, through the teaching of replacement theology (the Christian Church) or an attitude of superiority or exclusivity (Orthodox Judaism) concerning their brothers and sisters, and continue to do so, will come under judgment and be seen as rebels, choosing to scatter (keeping apart) rather than gathering (bringing together).

    We find Messiah saying in Matthew 12:31-32 that the words He is speaking are of Him, the man Yahshua, but come from the Ruach HaKodesh-His Words are Spirit!

Most of Ephraim (the Christian Church) and Judah (The Jews) do not understand this and make their “religious” decisions based on a lack of understanding, and find themselves, in their zeal for Yah, to be working against Messiah-Ruach HaKodesh, all the while thinking they are serving and pleasing Him.

    Ephraim having received the atoning blood of Messiah for salvation through the Spirit of the Word, but rejecting the Torah based on their natural, carnal worldly understanding of laws written on stone; that which was old replaced by the new, causing the Christian Church to be blinded to Messiah Yahshua, the Torah as something transitory, by the will of Yah for His purposes!

    On the other hand, Judah reacting the exact opposite of Ephraim, receiving the Spirit of the Word regarding Messiah, the Torah of Yah, while rejecting Messiah the Lamb of Yah, according to their natural, carnal worldly understanding of the Word. The Jews thus being blinded to the fact of Messiah Yahshua, their sin sacrifice, by the will of Yah for His purposes!

    We know that Ruach HaKodesh was given, in His power, on Shavuot (Pentecost) to those of Israel assembled in the upper room 50 days after Passover (Messiah our salvation). It is also believed that on Shavuot, the Torah (Messiah the Word-Torah) was given in His power at Sinai by Messiah Yahshua the Lawgiver, 50 days after the first Passover, to all Israel.

    I believe that in the Greater Exodus that Yah will heal His people and bring us to a place of wholeness, restoration, and unity; that in the wilderness, on some Shavuot, Judah and Ephraim who are blind to Messiah the Lamb or Messiah the Word-Torah respectively, will see and receive the fullness of the Spirit of that which they are lacking.

    I basically see two different groups of people going into the Greater Exodus:

    Those who keep the commandments of Yah and have the testimony of Yahshua-the Assembly of Philadelphia.

    Those who are counted as rebels-the Assembly of Smyrna.

    Ezekiel 20:34-38

    34 I will bring you from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have been scattered—with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath. 35 I will bring you into the wilderness of the nations and there, face to face, I will execute judgment upon you. 36 As I judged your ancestors in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will judge you, declares the Sovereign Lord. 37 I will take note of you as you pass under my rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant. 38 I will purge you of those who revolt and rebel against me. Although I will bring them out of the land where they are living, yet they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

    Look at verse 38-

    38 I will purge you of those who revolt and rebel against me. Although I will bring them out of the land where they are living, yet they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

    A rebel is someone who is rebellious to the authority they are under. In this situation, the authority is YHWH-MessiahYahshua-Ruach HaKodesh. Why would YHWH bring those who are rebellious to Him, into the wilderness if His intention is to purge them out of His assembly? I believe these rebels are those listed in the Assembly at Smyrna. They are the ones who are scattering through replacement theology (the Christian Church) or their exclusive claims to the Halacha of Yah (the Jews).

    In the wilderness, Yah will plead (make His case) with those who are rebels. If they reject their rebellious ways and begin working towards the “GATHERING” of “ALL” Israel and stop “SCATTERING”, they will no longer be counted as rebels and will be allowed to enter Israel with the Assembly of Philadelphia. If they (the rebels) refuse to obey, and the Assembly of Philadelphia has already left for the marriage supper of the Lamb, the rebel’s only hope is to be faithful unto death. They will realize at that point that they missed it and that the only way into the Kingdom is through 10 days of tribulation, from Feast of Trumpets to Yom Kippur. Those who refuse at this point are counted as rebels and will not enter Eretz Yisrael! Those who endure and overcome are ushered into the Kingdom and are no longer considered rebels.

    This does not take into account our personal salvation, as we will all pass under His rod of correction. All of this is specific to the discussion at hand.

    Keeping God’s Law- living in His Love, requires God’s Life itself.
    We can’t do it ! (That’s why we need a Savior).

    You need to understand, Yah is not speaking here of just the Jews.     Look at verse 13 above:

    There is more to all of this than you realize. All of scripture wasn’t written to just read the letters at the very end of the book! ALL of scripture gives the completed picture of what Yah is doing, not just the letters at the end!

    Protestants say you are free from sins and can not be judged.

    Here are verses from father G-d.

    1 Corinth. 7

    10 But to those who have been joined in matrimony, it is not I who commands you, but the Lord: a wife is not to separate from her husband.11 But if she has separated from him, she must remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband should not divorce his wife.

    If you are not allowed to divorce then you are not free from sin.

    There is more than 100 verses in the NT that tells us that we are not allowed to sin and many verses that tells us that we will be judged when we die. It is only one verse that tells us that we can not be judged.

    One verse against many is simple to understand what path is truth. The wide port leads to hell. The wide port is to live free (protestants).

    The verse that tells us that you can not be judged is to get rid of people who does not want to obey the 2700 laws that we Christians have in the Cathechism.

    Protestantism is idolatry not Judaism.

  43. We know from the time of Adam’s fall to Christ’s death that the righteous went to Paradise right next to hell in the lower parts of the earth! There were 3 types of folk who went there, The righteous Jews that followed the law, the righteous “Devout” folk of General Revelation! This aspect is older than Judaism & excisted even into the twentieth century! Also babies & children before the age of accountability! A trinity of righteous folk! All folk before Christ died in their sin nature & carried that nature into Paradise! I also believe that they had a tabernacle/temple in Paradise like the Jews had on the surface of the earth & in General Revelation & sacrifice was done for the sins of those in Paradise! Yes this Paradise was the “Jewish Heaven” of the Old Testement! It is “understood” that the angels administered & governed Paradise those thousands of years & the sin nature of the humans there was kept under control, Paradise had its laws & rules & an economy & lifestyle was part of it! However when JC died, He decended into hell & took the keys of death/hell & the grave from Satan, then entered Paradise! The folk in Paradise accepted Him first as Lord & Savior, then Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to baptize these folk like Pentecost & then He gave the folk in Paradise “His Innocence” & then He led these folk to Heaven beyond the sky!!!! This “Innocence factor” could not happen on Earth because the Jews were to accept Him as a whole nation & if that would have happened 2000 years ago, the Jews would have had this “Innocence of Christ” on the earth & history of the last 2000 years would have been radically different! Soon Isreal will be saved & this Innocence will come to them! If JC would have aborted His plan to go to the cross! Those folk in Paradise would have become Satan’s slaves & hell would have absorbed Paradise with all its folk!   44. Carol the Jews were meant to become the first whole nation of folk to have been “born again”! Also to have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit & also the” Innocence of Christ” ! Since He came to His own & His own received Him not a plan B had to happen ! Sometime in the early Millenium the Jews will come into this “Innocence” like they should have 2000 years ago! If that would have happened the last 2000 years would have been radically much different! The message of Innocence is going to be a main message of the Millenium!                       Yom Kippur is Day of Atonement. NOT a coincidence that from the day Jerusalem was restored to Israel counting 49 years on 360 day Jewish calendar that it lands on Hashem’s Feast day of Yom Kippur., Lev 23.

                      What are the odds and what does this mean??

                      My husband, who has been studying Daniel 9 for many years feels strongly that the “prince to come” in Daniel 9:27 is the anti christ.

                      The combination of blood moons on Passover to Sukkoth, 2014/2015, the Shemitah year, September 2014 to September 2015 with September 2015 starting a new Shemitah cycle (7years) could very well be pointing to the beginning of the 70th week, tribulation.

                      Mark Biltz, well known messianic teacher of the Feasts and who discovered the blood moons on the feast days has gone on record stating that he feels strongly that this September, the start of a new Shemitah cycle could be the start of the tribulation.

                      We need to prepare spiritually and physically and pray that we will be counted worthy to escape all these things.

                      In the Book of Revelation, where is the moon turning to blood written? It is within the opening of the 6th Seal.

                      This passing Asteroid occurring in the season of a Blood Moon (Feast of Tabernacle, 2015) seems to be another warning of what is opening – the 6th Seal.

                      All signs point to the Day (aka The Day of the Lord) beginning in the Hebrew year 5776.

                      Zephaniah 2:1-3 applies.

                      “…Before the Lord’s fierce anger comes upon you,
                      Before the day of the Lord’s anger comes upon you!

                      Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility.

              • DJ- I appreciate your candor and straightforwardness. It is actually refreshing. My wife and I have been out of town the past few days for our anniversary.

                The scripture you referenced above has nothing to do with whether one should or should not keep-observe Torah. It is rather about Justification. There were (and still are) two “basic” groups who are polar opposites:

                1) Those who seek Justification through the keeping (observing) of Torah=the Law

                2) Those who seek Justification by not keeping (observing) Torah=Law

                Since we know that Justification only comes through the blood of Messiah Yahshua as our sin sacrifice, we know that group 1 is not now justified, though they observe Torah, which was given by Messiah Yahshua (Messiah the Word) at Sinai. They are right and wrong, but the wrong outweighs the right. We are meant to keep Torah, which is Yah’s WAY, but it is NOT our Justification (our sin sacrifice) which only comes from Messiah’s shed blood. What Rav Shaul was saying was, the one who trusts in circumcision, for their justification must be able to keep the whole Torah perfectly, which is impossible.

                Group 2 on the other hand embraces Justification through the shed blood of Messiah, yet refuses to walk in the way of Torah, Messiah the Word. These who have Justification to enter the Kingdom through the shed blood of Messiah, will do so with a caveat: Yahshua said that those who break the least of these Commandments shall be called least in the Kingdom. We don’t know exactly what the penalty will be for those who refuse to keep “most” of the Commandments.

                There is actually a Group 3 which is how Messiah chose for His people to live, even as Rav Shaul (Paul) lived:

                And the Dragon raged against the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her Seed, these who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Yeshua.

                These are those who are Justified by the shed blood of Messiah and seek to walk in His ways-His Torah-His Law. It has never been an either or proposition, regardless of at least 1700 years of trying to convince the world that it is. If a person who is in this category, falls short, His sins are covered.

                Notice that it will be the “remnant”, and not the vast majority. It is hard to read through Gentile Greek eyes and understanding, and arrive at the Hebraic truth of what is being said, since it is through the Hebrews Yah chose to bring His Word and His Salvation to man.

                If you doubt that this is talking about Justification, explain the following verse of the scripture you referenced, understanding that vast amounts of men who are Christians fall into this specific category?!?! No one can have it both ways.

    What if I gave you five dollars. . .could you use it? How about $10,000 dollars?….or maybe what could you do with $50,000 ?Have you ever considered the life you could have as a millionaire? Think how today, how we even have many billionaires. . .what would you do. . .?

    Our life is very self oriented and quite limited and small minded. If you read about the complexity of a single atom, and that a million human cells form us and then research just the little bit about what we know about the vast universe. . .it is just too vast for us to soak it all in.

    Now, imagine if you can have God ? What would you really do if you could have God ?

    Would you first ask God for youth? Would you ask God to heal a family member or friend? Just think of all the tremendous possibilities. . .if you only had God!

    The problem with man and woman is not having God.

    Man and woman need God. Man and woman need to be obsessed getting God ! Really having all of God in true oneness with Him.

    To have God is to have all righteousness, all completeness, all perfection, all love, the power of true love itself, all life, all faith, all belief, all hope, all grace, all everything that is God !

    Nothing else will do. . .nothing else can compete with the unfathomable riches and glory of God !

    Why settle for anything else ?

    You’ve referenced a 7 year period know as Shemitah cycle. 7 such cycles is 7 x 7 equaling 49 years. Then, the following year (50th year) begins a year of Jubilee.

    “When all the twelve tribes lived in Israel, in their ancestral estates, the year following seven complete Shemittah cycles—the fiftieth year—was observed as Yovel, the Jubilee year.

    During Yovel, too, the land was not worked, as during Shemittah.     So, let’s see if there is a cycle of 7 x 7 and a Jubilee Year in the past 100 years.

    As Pastor Mark explains – We are seeing Blood Moons: Passover and Feast of Tabernacles occurring in 2014 and 2015 on Passover and Feast of Tabernacles in back-to-back years. There was a “Sackcloth Sun” visible over EU and Jerusalem on Spring Equinox, 2015.

    Where is a Blood Moon and Sackcloth Sun revealed as a sign in Revelation?

    When the sixth seal opens. There is no other reference to a Blood Moon and Sackcloth Sun in the book of Revelation except during this time frame.

    It would seem that Day of The Lord (Joel 2:31) begins at some point/day after the last Blood Moon, occurring on Feast of Tabernacles, 2015 (Hebrew calendar – Tishri, 5776).

    It seems that there is not another 7 year cycle beginning after 2015/2016. There is one more year to follow known as the “Day of the Lord” before Jubilee.

    All things will be complete (Matthew 24) within the generation that see the budding of the fig tree.

    1947 (another proclamation goes forth) + 70 (years of generation, Psalm 90:10 and Jeremiah chapters 29:10) = 2017

    Jubilee begins 2017.

      The Jubilee cycle is 7 x 7 years. Then comes The Year of Jubilee (50th).

      Yes, there is a 7 year period but we are not entering into another 7 year period.

      The 7 of 7 years cycle is ending. We are seeing the end of a 49 year cycle that began in 1967 (Jerusalem).

      1967 + 49 (7 sets of 7 years) = 2016.

      The Day (Hebrew year 5776 or 2016) is about to begin (1st Thess. 5:1-10).

      Therefore, these two passages seem to apply –

      I never thought of the dream of the blood on the dress of the bride as prophetic.

      at the time, I was just aware of my own experience

      the Lord once told me that I knew his joy, but did not want to feel his pain…..this tore into my soul…and I wept before him.. I felt so guilty… I had to learn to focus on others

      since then, i have been made aware of the suffering of others….and I can feel the pain and the suffering.

      so the blood on the dress was not just mine but that of all believers who suffer persecution.

    Free from Indwelling Sin and death

    8 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus,

    who do not walk according to the flesh [man]
    [walking away from an old home to enter new home],

    but [walk] according to the Spirit [God].

    2 For the law of the Spirit of life (Spirit of God, Power of God) in Christ Jesus has made me free from (the sewer water and chains of ) Law of Sin and Death.

    3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh [man], ( man can’t get out of it)

    God did it

    by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh[man], on account of sin: He condemned sin [man] crushed it in the flesh [man], (man is crushed-dead)

    4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us (Jesus empowered and confirmed the perfectness of God’s Law confirming that it is righteous and fulfilled it by executing the rule of law- that sin had to be punished condemned)

    who [now] do not walk according to the flesh[man] but [walk] according to the Spirit[God].

    5 For those who live (staying around) according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh [man] [self],

    but those who live according to the Spirit [God], set their minds on the things of the Spirit [God] [power of love,life and peace . . .God’s perfection, righteousness].

    6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

    7 Because the carnal [man’s] mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God [ law of Spirit of life], nor indeed can be !

    8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God [ because they remain bound / chained by the law of sin and death].

    9 But you are not in the flesh but [walk] in the Spirit [God], if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you ( THE POWER OF God’s LOVE deepest affection, deepest love ).

    LET GOD’S TRUE LOVE DOMINATE AND ABOUND

    Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

    10 And if Christ is in you, (CHRIST DOES IT !) the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness [God] [perfection of God].

    11 But if the Spirit of Him [GOD] who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead . . .

    will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit [God] who dwells in you.

    Live by the prompting and power of God. . . deepest affection, deepest love.

    Jesus came to us through the Jewish people…
    Jesus also said, “If You hath not Love, You have nothing.”
    God is Love beyond anything I can begin to comprehend

    and what Love You have for these boys…You have a big

    I’ve been reading of the Prophets Jeremiah, Amos, Isaiah
    and as reading Jeremiah, I feel Our Nation has turned
    away from God….I am not saying all people…Leadership
    Jeremiah, as I was reading was encouraging the
    people to turn to God……The nation is taking down the
    ten commandments…..very sad of this…

    I am learning still….I think of God and the Passover and
    freeing God’s people from Egypt…Divine protection
    and of Moses….

  62. Recently heard a teaching from scripture where Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are in the kingdom and it was noted they’re there. Unfortunately, I don’t recall the exact verse.

    The point being, that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses etc made it in, through belief and obedience to YHWHs instructions, His Torah.
