Are you in a tunnel?

Dream
On January 27, 1997, I had a dream, where the Lord showed me a
long, deep tunnel, under very deep water, that I had to
travel through to reach what God had for me.
He also showed me a symbolic withdrawing of blood with a
large needle and syringe. It was being taken from me for
some purpose, and it injured me. Blood was being
drawn out of my muscle (source of strength) instead of
my vein (normal site).
It was all very painful.

Dream Fulfillment – Physical aspects
In the year 2000, I started getting spiritual attacks.
In 2004, I suffered physical injuries that have had permanent effects.
And in June, 2006, the dream continued to come true with an adverse drug reaction that has then since crippled and afflicted me. I experienced severe disrupted sleep patterns, tremendous insomnia, extreme exhaustion, brain fog.
My life was (and is) in an unreal world where I had/ have no strength, and could spend all day unable to think or act, not remembering anything that had happened. I live in a zombie like dream world, struggling to just do simple things each day. I have about 2-3 hours of strength each day.
I am in pain every day.
I had no idea this “tunnel” would last 20 years.

Bible application
I searched and did not find any “tunnel” references. The closest I found were the “pit” and the “prison.”
And “hole,” or “cave” which seems to be the closest fit.
The KJV translates Strong’s H2356 in the following manner: hole (6x), cave (1x).
chûwr, khoor; or (shortened) חֻר chur; from an unused root probably meaning to bore; the crevice of a serpent; the cell of a prison:—hole.
–
Examples: Joseph was first in a pit then a prison. Jeremiah was thrown into a prison. So was John the Baptist, and John the Apostle.
1Sa 14:11 – a place of hiding
And both of them discovered themselves unto the garrison of the Philistines: and the Philistines said, Behold, the Hebrews come forth out of the holes H2356 where they had hid themselves.

Disability
Inability to get daily activities done, or with much difficulty
You may lose everything or a lot
Time stands still – feel lost in time
More introspective
Time to learn and grow, or stagnate
Seek the Lord, or remain lost
Yahweh God is the only way out if you are meant to leave

What you do in your tunnel is up to you:
–
A time to draw close to Yahweh God
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, …
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
–
It is an opportunity to share in sufferings of Christ
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
–
Yahweh may have put or hidden you there for your protection
He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Death to Self so you Can Live Spiritually
Romans 8:12-13
So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh— for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live
1 Peter 4:1-2
Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
Romans 6:8
Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

Learning Empathy -An opportunity to reach out to others in need
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ …

Final Thoughts
What you may see as a curse may actually be an opportunity.
Yahweh allows things to happen for a reason.
Seek the reason, and let yourself grow.
