Marianne,these are very beautiful thoughts and verses! May I suggest using the Name and Title Elohim instead of “Lord”. The latter is a direct translation of the idol name Baal in the Old Testament. Check “Baal” in Strong’s Bible Concordance (very helpful!).

i had a dream recently , i am attending my bible college graduation ceremony, (in real life i finish my college in a non-religious school }
in the dream, very strange , i knew that the school did not require me to attend any class , pass any test or submit any reports to class,
the school offer me a free certificate of graduation,
in the dream , i wonder if i should receive the certificate or deny it ,
for i know i did not work on the program. there is another friend in the dream, i know this friend in real life, he also was offered the same thing by the school. he also wonder about/
in the dream, had thoughts that if accept the certificate, the devil will know my name, name would be in the list.

not long ago, i went to a meeting with a group of christian friends, but later i found out people who host the meeting are catholics, the speaker of the meeting who is a anointed christian (that is why we went to the meeting}, and the host try to do the unification work in us (unify the protestant and catholic} ,
so i let my friends to know, but there were few people listening to me,
i just went out the meeting, but my heart feel sad and confused.
i keep ask myself , do i hear God wrong, ? people think i was critical,
but i know i have to blow the whistle .

It seems to me that your dream may have been meant to make you consider what your belief system really is and will it give you what YOU want (salvation and eternal life through belief in Yahweh’s Son). this happens with a lot of false teachers…degree or no degree….they have the fancy paperwork, move into a position of influence, and then begin to teach heresy
they get on an easy, fast path, and when they get their position , they are useless to god and others

the fact that it was a bible college backs this up. not to submit to any temptation to go the false path..

i felt God told me that because in the beginning , i want to get a fast/shortcut anointing from the speaker , that cause me into the trouble (mingle with catholic unification people } .
i still need to work on my spiritual growth (include anointing, bible knowledge…. my character , knowing God } through righteous way,
i still have to earn it . no free lunch , i guess.

I had this dream and i feel that is loaded with a huge message.
i could see i was somewhere at a function and it was abit crowded.what struck me was that i was with someone who i recognized as a watchman in my spirit( in africa that what we call our security guards).i was also with a little boy whom i felt so so attached to and protective of.the scenery changed and all three of us were in a place that looked like the woods and there was a stream just near us.We were all squatting behind some bush near the stream The watchmen gave this little boy a gold band(ring) and told him to take care of it for his wife.I was so emotional in the dream.A few feet away from us the boy noticed a big orange balloon and got up to go and get it. As he was going i also stood up to look at him as he was going then we hear this noise of a wolf.The boy stops.I look and i see a wolf across the stream.I walked to the boy and carried him to where the balloon is he picks it up and i take him back to the bushes in my arms.As i am going back to the bushes where the watchman still is, the wolf turns to a very handsome man with a white shirt and a red tie.we leave this place and i can see the three of us walking from that area.the wolf/ man seems to have noticed me so I decide to go another direction and not follow the watchman and the boy so that i can distract him.

Last few days I’ve been literally grieved over the ‘wolves’ who appear as sheep and PRAYING for people’s eyes to be OPENED! Sound the ALARM!
This is serious because these wolves are ‘handsome’ and charismatic and do not appear to be what they are. The watchman in the bushes is in the place of safety where people will be brought IF they follow those who try to help them to the place away from the wolves. There is indeed ALOT to this dream. I feel mostly it is a warning. Things are not what they appear very very often. That is the way of the Kingdom of God. Flattery and smooth talk is NOT OF GOD! The big orange balloon that was attracting this boy is proof that the innocent unsuspecting ‘sheep’ are lured to flamboyance and emotional excitement. But he was led, by a true shepherd to a place where the watchman was, in safety and TRUTH.
There is SO much here but I’m glad this is now being exposed. These wolves need to be seen for what they really are.

Wolf/Man- Angel of light- Deception his desire was for the little boy. He was nicely handsome and nicely dressed. We will automatically shun what looks evil, but we are deceived by what looks good. Remember Eve at the fruit of the knowledge of Good and Evil. Satan will always get us by what looks good, by what will appeal to self. The balloon was there to distract and lure the little boy, it was placed there by the wolf who was watching the little boy. Notice the wolf (spirit) was in his true formed but changed into a handsome man, to appeal to you. But your discerned the spirit in its true form.
You may have the gift of discerning of spirits since you saw the spirit in its true form before he changed into a form you would recognize and accept. This is the goal of the devil to get us to accept what looks good.
Your dream is on point for the times we are in. And there is no “sugary sweet” interpretation of this. But a strict warning to be aware and discerning.
One great deception in the Body of Christ is that self is still on the throne. The enemy has deceived the church to have itching ears, to hear messages with “themselves” at the center instead of Christ. Are we following for the fishes and the loaves” Only for the blessings and not the giving of ourselves? God will do this for me and God will do that for me. Whole ministries have bought into this deception being seeker friendly and catering to the needs of the people, no talk of sin or our focus being on God. Not our worship directly to him and living as living sacrifices unto him.
In every culture on this planet even pagan religion, the focus of worship was on the idol or the power behind it. Today in some places there is so much emphasis in ministry products, and only our needs being met instead of the focus on God and the finished work of Christ on the Cross.

I was quickened to the little boy that you felt so attached to and protective over. I believe your ministry function will be one that you will be very protected over and attached to.
A ring is a covenant vow and also can mean authority and favour. To take care of it for his wife= could mean the church.
Being emotional could be very sensitive to the Spirit.
A balloon is very appealing to a child, they will immediately want to have one as soon as they see them. The enemy uses what is appealing to draw one to want to go after it.
You take him back to the bushes in your arms. This could be carrying and bearing another in your strength and security. A burden bearer.
A wolf devours. It is a spirit of theft. It comes to kill, steal, and destroy the blessings/ the good things from you. A false prophet in sheep’s clothing. Stealing the truth of the Word and devouring your blessings.
A little summary: perhaps it could be that you will be a part of a ministry to the church / Body that your role will be one of protecting / seeing and watching over / carrying burdens for others. You will be given the authority and sensitivity in the Spirit to see and know when the enemy is near and prowling. Regardless of how the enemy may disguise himself you will already recognize his scheme through the sensitivity of the Spirit. You will not allow him to just devour or steal the truth or destroy the blessings the Lord has in store for this next generation, but instead shall distract him and bring confusion into his camp!

Jesus encourages His followers to be fruit inspectors. I came across a great article from the Gospel Coalition written by Colin Smith entitled, “7 Traits of False Teachers.” This precise article identifies the fruit of false teachers. The link is at the bottom for those who want to read Colin’s complete piece. I’m going to spend the next few minutes quoting directly from it. He compares the authentic with the counterfeit from 1 and 2 Peter. Colin wrote …
1. Different Source—Where does their message come from? Peter says, “We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1:16). And then he says the false teachers exploit you “with stories they have made up” (2:3). So the true teacher sources what he says from the Bible. The false teacher relies on his own creativity. (1 and 2 Peter}
2. Different Message—What is the substance of the message? For the true teacher, Jesus Christ is central. “We have everything we need for life and godliness in Him” (1:3). For the false teacher, Jesus is at the margins: “They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them” (2:1). Notice the word secretly. It’s rare for someone in church to openly deny Jesus. Movement away from the centrality of Christ is subtle. The false teacher will speak about how other people can help change your life, but if you listen carefully to what he is saying, you will see that Jesus Christ is not essential to his message.
3. Different Position—In what position will the message leave you? The true Christian “escapes the corruption in the world caused by evil desires” (1:4). Listen to how Peter describes the counterfeit Christian: “They promise … freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity, for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him” (2:19). The true believer is escaping corruption, while the counterfeit believer is mastered by it.
4. Different Character—What kind of people does the message produce? The true believer pursues goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love (1:5). The counterfeit Christian is marked by arrogance and slander (2:10). They are “experts in greed” and “their eyes are full of adultery” (2:14).
5. Different Appeal—Why should you listen to the message? The true teacher appeals to Scripture. “We have the word of the prophets made more certain and you will do well to pay attention to it” (1:19). God has spoken, and the true teacher appeals to his Word. The false teacher makes a rather different appeal: “By appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error” (2:18).
6. Different Fruit—What result does the message have in people’s lives? The true believer is effective and productive in his or her knowledge of Jesus Christ (1:8). The counterfeit is “like a spring without water” (2:17). This is an extraordinary picture! They promise much but produce little.
7. Different End—Where does the message ultimately lead you? Here we find the most disturbing contrast of all. The true believer will receive “a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1:11). The false believer will experience “swift destruction” (2:1). “Their condemnation has long been hanging over them and their destruction has not been sleeping” (2:3). Jesus tells us that there will be many who have been involved in ministry in his name, to whom he will say, “Depart from me; I never knew you” (Matt. 7:21).

Colin makes some great points, and it begs the question to pastors, “If people are not changing and growing closer to God, are we challenging them … or are we catering to what they want to hear?”
Wolves don’t advertise, but God does. He offers hope and salvation: “Call on Me. I will never leave nor forsake you … call on Me and I will heal your past and redeem your future … call on Me and you will be saved” (cf.;Deut. 31:6; Ezek. 34:16; Joel 2:32). You can trust God’s marketing plan.

Discipline – I believe includes realizing that life and death are in what is spoken by a “watchman.” These passage would apply.

discerning is the awareness of good or bad. you see the truth of what is there
this is an objective activity, and not based on personal feeling about people
it is also a correct assessment of human behavior…..if someone is stealing, then they are a thief….logical conclusion…
there is no personal emotions involved here….or declaring the thief’s final eternal destiny…

judgmental is based on personal feelings about people or events……and forms future assessments of the person’s eternal destiny which are inappropriate…
example the person who stole food from a store is told they are going to hell…..this is predictive…..the person who stole food could repent tomorrow….so the false conclusion is made out of contempt for the thief, there is no compassion.
one should exhort anyone who has sinned to repent, and tell them what will happen if they don’t repent…..they do not play god and condemn the person to hell….final judgement is god’s, not man’s
judgmental involves harsh condemnation, not exhortation to change one’s life.

Hebrews 5 tells us –
“We have a great deal to say about this, and it’s difficult to explain, since you have become too lazy to understand. Although by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the basic principles of God’s revelation again. You need milk, not solid food.
Now everyone who lives on milk is inexperienced with the message about righteousness, because he is an infant.
But solid food is for the mature—for those whose senses have been trained to distinguish between good and evil” (HCSB).
What is good?
God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light. God saw that the light was good, and He separated light from darkness. And He called the light “day” and the darkness “night” (Genesis 1:3-5).
Light, good (“Day”).
Darkness, demonic (“Night”).
Discernment is knowing the difference and identifying the darkness with specificity.
These verses give insight into the light (“good”) and darkness (demonic).

What do I mean by specificity?
Derek Prince explained and here are 2 examples in Scripture.
“But Peter told him, ‘May your silver be destroyed with you, because you thought the gift of God could be obtained with money! You have no part or share in this matter, because your heart is not right before God.
Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that the intent of your heart may be forgiven you.
For I see you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity'” (Acts 8:20-22, HCSB).
Peter discerned a spirit of bitterness.
Next example of discernment and judging from Paul. See Acts 16.
Paul would judge her by her behavior (“fruit of the Spirit”).
“She and all the people in her house [her household] were baptized. Then she invited us to her home, saying, “If you think I am truly [have judged me to be] a believer in the Lord, then come stay in my house.” And she persuaded us [urged us strongly] to stay with her.”
Then, in the next verses – Paul applies spiritual discernment with great specificity.
“Once, while we were going to the place for prayer, a servant [slave] girl met us. She had a special spirit [spirit/demon of divination/prediction; Python spirit; Python was the serpent god that guarded the Delphic oracle; the term came to be used of the ability to predict the future] in her, and she earned a lot of money for her owners by telling fortunes.
This girl followed Paul and us, shouting, ‘These men are servants [slaves] of the Most High God. They are telling you how you can be saved [the way/path of salvation].’
She kept this up for many days. This bothered [annoyed; exasperated] Paul, so he turned and said to the spirit, ‘By the power of Jesus Christ, I command you to come out of her!’
Immediately, the spirit came out” (Acts 16:15-18, Expanded Translation).
Paul applied spiritual discernment and named the spirit of darkness, “Python.”
Discernment is a spiritual gift of identifying demonic darkness and naming the spirit.
There are many powers of darkness in the spirit realm. We use discernment to separate good (quality of human nature) from bad (powers of darkness) that oppresses or affects humans.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12, NKJV).

if you read my previous messages , i had a dream and in real life i accidentally went to a meeting mixing with pagan (catholic} ,
i did have some question, also have some thoughts,
first, God teach me , do not ” Go with the Stream ” . do not conform to the world,
after i found something wrong in the meeting, i told my friends, but only one person listen , most of them thought ok to stay in .
frankly, i felt shocked by the situation, for most of them are leaders in the christian community. there is no space to negotiate between different religion.
i also felt alone, i need to go with leading in my heart, even there was no one agree with us , no one to walk with us . actually God walk with us.
in the end time, we will face this kind decision making situation a lot, we are in the valley of decision , we need the spirit of Discernment so much , for there is spirit of deception and confusion , comprise around us.
1 Thessalonian 5 , do not fall into sleep. for the day is evil.
it look like , this is the time God will separate the sheep and goat , or not yet ? i have question why my friends go to the other way ?
i also think, do i need to separate with the friends go to the other way from now on ?

I am not sure what went on in the meeting….many catholics are ok in spirit…they do not adhere to all what you think they think….just follow your conscience and let them follow theirs

the catholic host sound like new age person, he had a short session to teach us how to ” see Jesus” ,
he did not have any Bible reference, i did not know what was the motive they want to see Jesus, so i just went out the meeting in 5 minutes,
do not get me wrong, i do believe Brother Lawrence’s teaching “practice the presence of God ” , but i do not trust the guy in the meeting, it was very weird.

thanks for all your answer, i will not go back either,
that is not my church or fellowship, i accidentally went to a conference to meet a anointed christian/protestant speaker, later found out that was host by catholic, free meeting room, free food. free merchandise , why i went to the meeting, i had wrong motive, i want to receive quick/shortcut anointing, that cause trouble in the first place. i think that was the trick of devil in the end time. anointing or anointed speaker,……….
no short cuts to holiness…it is a long hard narrow path 🙂

i used to do things like you did. i was looking for “god” but what I found was somethings else….
it is a very private, solitary experience to find the real thing
thanks very much , the speaker claim herself went to Heaven many times, so we came to the meeting to be anointed by her, hope we could experience same thing. the catholic guy talked about the experience to “see Jesus ” , the motive was for the sake of experience, not for Holiness.
christinme – These meetings you have attended regarding a unification between Protestant and Catholic seems to be weighing heavily on you. My first question is to you, “Why?” Why are you so concerned about these meetings, what concerns you?
There are reasons people departed from the Catholic church. I am neither Catholic, nor Protestant, so am not well versed in what went on causing the exodus from Catholicism. But it began with Martin Luther in 1517 when he accused the Catholic church of corruption with the practice of people being absolved of their sins through monetary payments.
My second question would be, “Why?” Why is the Catholic Church and Protestant Church wanting to unify after 500 years of separation? And, why now? Apparently some have been meeting in secret for over a year. (And included many other denominations.) A one world religion? I don’t know. I wasn’t there.
Recently (July 2015) the Pope met with a Protestant delegation who are advocating for a re-unified church under the authority of the Holy See. The delegation included some prominent figures such as Joel Osteen and Rick Warren. This meeting was to FINALIZE the re-unification of the two churches.
This entire delegation took part, individually, in the sacrament of confession, saying that they shouldn’t ask their congregations to do anything they weren’t willing to do themselves. And, regarding baptism, one even stated that ” … without formal Confirmation, our Protestant baptisms will be null, thus preventing us from entering the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Ouch. I feel sad for those who believe that a particular act on their part is required, and one that needs the Pope’s blessing as well.

If we seek an experience—an emotional high—rather than God, we will become disappointed. We might even say, “I’ve tried God and it didn’t work.” The Bible says, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you,” declares the LORD”.
How do we seek God with all our hearts? By looking in places where He might be found: reading the Bible, going to church, attending Bible study, going for a quiet nature walk, listening to beautiful music and talking to Him. When God becomes central, all sorts of experiences happen. Life becomes full and exciting. ” quote

i did experience God in the past, (be filled with Holy Spirit, experience His Love } so what is balance way to see “experience” . and do not fall into wrong path . thanks
