Many Waters

clip_image002

How deep, or how dangerous, are the waters you are in?

Psalm 18

16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.

17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the Lord was my stay.

19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

Dream 1996

There are 3 boats chained together.

The boats are being guided by an angel in the first boat

The Holy Spirit is in the 2nd or middle boat

I am in the last boat.

We have been out in deep waters for awhile, but are now approaching shore.

The waters have strong vortexes which could pull the boats down into them

The Holy Spirit gets out of the 2nd boat and into the waters to calm them for me.

I am overwhelmed that He did this kindness for me.

We make it safely to shore.

End of Dream

clip_image006

Many of us have experienced “troubled waters” in our lives.

We may survive physically, nor not, but not spiritually .

We end up damaged, and at a loss.

We need to understand that YHVH God is working in the unseen realm to guide us through our storms.

In my dream, I had the angel and the Holy Spirit guiding me and helping me through the dangerous waters, even though in my everyday life, I could not see them doing this.

So, even though in the natural realm, it looked like God had abandoned me, in the more real supernatural realm, He was saving me.

I was injured from the experience, but God would then start healing me, whether I knew it or not.

clip_image008

Why do we go through storms and troubled waters?

(1)

To remove impurities from us, and to show us the evil in the world that God does not want us to be a part of.

Anything we lose, God did not want us to have.

It was bad for us, even if we imagined it would be good for us. He knows better than we do.

WE see what is on the surface. He sees what is beneath the surface.

image

(2)

Because we will survive, with God’s help, but our enemies will not.

It may seem like they have survived, but in the supernatural, they have been dealt a blow, and are now prey to demonic strongholds.

Over a period of time, they will decline in strength, while we maintain our strength, with God’s help.

clip_image012

So when you face troubled waters, rejoice in the rain.

There is an angel assigned to help you through.

And the Holy Spirit is there, to calm the water and help you get to shore.

All you need to do is sit quietly in your boat, and trust the Lord.

Do not try to calm the waters yourself…you may drown doing it.

Do not look at the natural events taking place.

See what is happening in the spiritual realm.

Success in the temporary, natural world may not be your victory.

Obedience, trust, and faith is what YHVH God is looking for.

This is the real reward, that is everlasting.

  1. Amen! Thank you for your timely message MariAnne.

  2. Thanks Marianne,
Had been pondering the storms, but you just answered it by what God showed you.
Thanks. God bless your 💓 heart.

  3. I have been molested and found myself so tired of it I just gave in just to get it over with 4 hours is less than 12 hours. I’m not enjoying it I speak in tongues what do I do. I’m confused but will never give u

  4. Thank you for this post. It was a timely blessing for me!

  5. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.

  6. Hi Marianne,

someone had a dream need interpretation. if you have any thought , thanks

in the dream, this person is busy with his earthly

achievement, he was in a graduate school building and busy with study ,

he already had degree , but he need more.

suddenly, other told him that his car service/ taxi service is coming and

waiting for him , he told them that he need to pack luggage , he is not

ready yet , ask the taxi to wait 30 minutes ,

he is busy with curriculum and notes , and discussing with other people ,

he lost his notes in the classroom , so he is looking for his missing notes ,

the 2nd times, other told him ,the car service is waiting for him,

he told them to tell the taxi to wait for 30 miniatures . he is not ready.

later he found out there is bus station nearby the school building.

why he need the car service ?

    dream end,

this dream could be a God’s final call dream,

this person almost lose his salvation, for he is ” not ready ” , he is busy with

    his worldly thing,

when God calling us home, we do not need to prepare the luggage.

but his person keep saying he need to pack the luggage , ask the car

    service to wait.

    Marianne,

does this dream imply God want to take this person home soon ?

the baggage/luggage is not a good thing.

    any thoughts and interpretation. thanks

    • q

I agree with you. he is preoccupied with the baggage from this life, as if he has to accomplish something before he goes.

God has allowed him to put off “leaving,” as he keeps working for his worldly goal.

he has to realize that the worldly goal is only important to him, not God or others. when he is gone, no one will care what he accomplished.

in a way I can see this as understandable. we all want that feeling of accomplishment.

he is looking for a later departure, so he can finish working at his goal.

at some point, there will be no more delays, and God will take him.

not sure if he is saved or not, but he needs to be ready when GOd finally takes him.

curious, are you part of that “Q” group that posts political things?

      • do you mean Q anon. no , not at all.
i believe Q anon and Julian Assage with amazing computer talent beyond common people. beyond regular computer people.

i am just a regular christian , with Nita Johnson’s prayer group ,we focus on the current news,- especially the illuminati ,

      • thanks for your interpretation,

the person in the dream i know who is saved.

he was very devoted christian before.

        not now.

it does not mater if God will take him right now ,
it does matter if we are ready or not .

        thanks

    • hi Marianne,

      God is coming back,
i also heard another similar story . few years ago, someone walked in the street , he saw bus passing by with big sign “the last call ” , not only once, he saw this few times at different time and place.

later he also met a christian with prophetic words for him , ask him to repent .

      i need t , actually i also need to repent !

May God help me and others to repent and get ready before He call us!!

  7. Francis Frangipane Ministry

“This Time I Will Praise the Lord”

Have no doubt, the Lord is concerned about fulfilling our desires, but to do so He must reset our priorities in life. In our world, the quest for personal fulfillment can become a type of idolatry. Thus, part of our salvation includes having God become first in our hearts. In the Sermon on the Mount, the Lord Jesus put it this way. He said,

“Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matt. 6:33-34).

God wants to satisfy us beyond our dreams, but not before He becomes first in our hearts. A wonderful example of this can be seen in the life of Leah, Jacob’s first wife. Leah was unattractive, unwanted, and unloved by her husband. Jacob had served Laban, Leah’s father, seven years for Rachel, who was Leah’s younger sister. On their wedding night, however, Laban put Leah in the nuptial tent instead of Rachel. Although Jacob actually did marry Rachel a week later, he had to work another seven years for her. So Jacob had two wives who were sisters.

The Scriptures tell us that Rachel was loved by Jacob, but Leah was hated. Yet we also read that “the Lord saw that Leah was hated . . .” (Gen. 29:31 KJV). We should understand this about the Lord: He is drawn to the hurting. Listen to this statement again: “The Lord saw . . . Leah.”

What wonderful words! The Lord saw that Leah was unloved. He saw her pain, loneliness and heartache. Leah, though unloved by Jacob, was deeply loved by the Lord, and He gave her a son. Leah’s reaction was predictable. She said, “Surely now my husband will love me” (v. 32).

Worse than living your life alone is to be married to someone who hates you, as was the case with Leah. How Leah wished that Jacob would share the love he had for Rachel with her. Who could blame her? Leah’s desires were justified. She had given Jacob a first-born son. In her mind, if the Lord could open her womb, He could also open Jacob’s heart. But the time was not yet; Jacob still did not love her.

Twice more Leah gave birth to sons, and each time her desire was for her husband. She said, “Now this time my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons” (v. 34). Yet Jacob’s heart still did not desire her.

For Leah, as well as for us, there is a lesson here: you cannot make another person love you. In fact, the more pressure you place upon others to accept you, the more likely they are to push you back. Leah’s concept of fulfillment was based on attaining Jacob’s love, and now her problem was worsening. Not only was she unattractive to Jacob, but also her jealousies were adding to her unloveliness.

Three times we read in this text that the Lord saw and heard that Leah was unloved. He saw her affliction. Through all her striving for Jacob and her disappointment with her marital relationship, the Lord was tenderly wooing Leah to Himself.

As Leah became pregnant a fourth time, a miracle of grace occurred within her. She gradually became aware that, while she had not been the focus of her husband’s love, she was loved by God. And as this fourth pregnancy progressed, she drew nearer and nearer to God. She became a worshiper of the Almighty.

As she gave birth to another son, she said, “This time I will praise the Lord” (v. 35). She named that child Judah, which means, “praise.” It was from the tribe of Judah that Christ was born.

Leah had been seeking self-fulfillment and found only heartache and pain. But as she became a worshiper of God, she entered life’s highest fulfillment: she began to please God.

It is right here that the human soul truly begins to change and enter God’s stronghold. As Leah found fulfillment in God, He began to remove from her the jealousies, insecurities and heartaches that life had conveyed to her. A true inner beauty started growing in Leah; she became a woman at rest.

Likewise, we each have character defects that we are reluctant or unable to face. Others have seen these things in us, but they have lacked the courage to tell us. Both physically and personally, these flaws in our nature are what leave us feeling anxious and threatened.

It is not counsel or classes on success or self-esteem that we need; we simply need to discover God’s love for us. As we begin to praise Him in all things, we simultaneously put on the garments of salvation. We are actually being saved from that which would otherwise have destroyed us!

Disappointments and heartaches cannot cling to us, for we are worshipers of God! We know that “God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God” (Rom. 8:28). If we continue to love God, nothing we experience can ultimately turn out harmful since God takes all we pass through and, in His redemptive power, works it for our good

    The Tree of Life
Proverbs 13 says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fulfillment is a tree of life” (v.12). As our desires are fulfilled, we are fulfilled. Since it is the fulfillment of our desires that fills us with satisfaction, the secret to a rewarding life is to commit our desires to God.

You say, “That’s easy for you to say. You have a wonderful wife and family. You are blessed. But you don’t understand my problems.” My wonderful marriage was very difficult for the first decade or so. We struggled with many things in our relationship. My wife and I both came to the place where we were unfulfilled in each other. But, like Leah, we both looked to God and said, “This time I will praise the Lord.” In fact, we named our second child the very name Leah gave to her fourth — Judah.

For us, as for Leah, our lives were turned around as we chose to delight in God. As we became His worshipers, He began to work on our hearts until we were not only more pleasing to Him, we were also pleasing to each other! What I am relating to you is the very thing that saved and blessed our marriage!

Psalm 37:4 reads, “Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart.” As you delight in God, you change. The negative effects of disappointment and grief fall off. As love and joy from God begin to fulfill us, our very souls are restored and beautified. Yes, delight yourself with Jesus, and your self-destructive tendencies will actually begin to vanish. Christ will beautify your life from the inside out.

    The Outcome of Leah’s Life
What happened with Leah? Well, the long years came and went. In time, Rachel and then Leah died. Jacob, on his deathbed, spoke to his sons:

“I am about to be gathered to my people; bury me with my fathers in the cave . . . which Abraham bought . . . for a burial site. There they buried Abraham and his wife Sarah, there they buried Isaac and his wife Rebekah, and there I buried Leah” (Gen. 49:29-31).

Jacob had buried Leah in the ancestral place of honor! Oh how those words, though few, imply so much! They tell us that God had, in some marvelous inner way, beautified this afflicted one with salvation. After Leah found fulfillment in God, God gave her fulfillment in Jacob. We can imagine that over the years inner peace and spiritual beauty shone forth from Leah; Jacob was knit to her in love. It is not hard to imagine that when Leah died, she left smiling, with the praises of God upon her lips.

My advice to you is simple: become a worshiper of God! As you surrender your desires to Him, as you put Him first, He will take what you give Him and make it beautiful in its time. He will take what has been bent and imbalanced within you and make you stand upright. Instead of languishing in depression, speak to the areas of unfulfillment within you: “This time I will praise the Lord!”

  11. There’s little doubt of the love Paul had for the leaders in Ephesus. On his journey to Jerusalem—knowing he’d never see these brothers again—the apostle requested they meet with him one final time in Miletus. Paul’s heart must have been heavy with so much to impart.

Acts 20 records Paul’s moving farewell. He reflected upon the integrity of his life and ministry and then addressed them directly. Paul cared about his brothers as much as he cared about the future of the church. He was vigilant about their souls—not just the ministry results they would produce.

Paul’s first call to action wasn’t, “Develop a five-year strategic plan for spreading the gospel.” Rather, in startling contrast, he counsels, “Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock” (v. 28). A heart that is right with God is what matters first and foremost in His servants.

    Tend to Yourself First

It’s a word for leaders to heed today: There’s danger in tending to the flock without first tending to yourself. I’m not advocating our culture’s fascination with “me-time” which promotes indulging oneself with rewards. It’s about walking in right relationship with God the Father while being able to say, “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ” (1 Cor 11:1). The day a leader shifts her priority from seeking God to seeking ministry for God, relationships suffer and fruitful impact shrivels. You’ve seen it. I’ve seen it. We’ve all been there.

    Telltale Signs

    What are the telltale signs?

Getting annoyed with women instead of overflowing with love for your sisters
Shallow concern for women instead of deep compassion like the Savior
Irritation when things don’t happen the way you planned instead of grace and poise in handling the unexpected
Teaching truths that aren’t real in your own life
Ministry results are man-powered rather than Spirit-powered
Concentration on projecting a godly image rather than being honest and transparent before those you lead
Dry, hurried prayer life over standing in the gap for as long as it takes to intercede for God’s people
    Turn Back

If seeking ministry over seeking God has gradually overcome you, what’s the first step to take?

In the words of the apostle Peter, “Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus” (Acts 3:19–20, emphasis added).
Turn back—you’ve detoured in the wrong direction. Turn back—repent and start out again. Anchor yourself daily to Christ through His Word. Be filled once more with the Living Water, your source for empowered living, loving, and serving. Next, praise God for His mercy that sought you out, turned you around, and isn’t giving up on you.

Does your life exhibit any telltale signs of seeking ministry over seeking God? Admit your need to turn back today. Ask the Lord what changes need to occur in your personal pursuit of Him. Open up with a friend or mentor who will hold you accountable. Then, press on in your calling, beloved servant!

    • amen

most ministry is focused on church building and increasing size of congregation

    • Hi Marianne,

people with different mentality /mind set , seek_God type or seek_Ministry type.

      i have joined many prayer meetings for years, (many people or few people}

i have met people that we prayed together for half year , one year , or even few years,

later when we talked and communicated, i found out we could not communicate ,

we are not on the same page. we do not understand what they think,

they do not know what we think,

so i ask God, i felt that God told me that there are people with different mentality.

they are people who are ministries driven , they are people who come to seek God alone.

that is why we could not communicate. i also found that is not right or wrong issue, we are just different type people .

      have you met something similar?

      thanks

  12. from 22:45 , Rolland Baker missionary talk about how God separate the goat and sheep, Matt 25, we offer a cup water to the little one, offer the food, clothes to the one who is in need ……. do little and simple thing first

  14. Hi Marianne,

I have a question , i have listen to mike bickle (ihop-kc} and lou engle (the Call} preaching for years,

i listen to their perching and attend their prayer meeting,

as i know that they pray for many hours (4-8 hours} a day,

how come people who are praying so many hours a day could be deceived by Catholic people.

they join with catholic people to have “unity” meeting. actually is false unity.

what is the reason ? what made them to be deceived ?

i do not come to condemn them, i just come to find out the reasons.

could you give me some hints ,

    thanks

    God bless

    • q

things have to be consistent to be true.

if someone is praying 4-8 hours a day, they are close to God, and will not be deceived.

if deceived, they are not in prayer enough and do not read their bible enough.

so any claim to praying that long is false.

      or….

they are just being polite but are not deceived

      • ok, that is why , thanks

do you agree those christian ” unity ” meeting with catholic people ?
        what is opinion , thanks

        • q

I think it is christ like to be polite to others, so if I were approached by catholics, I would be nice to them, and let them talk about unity

but the topic is deceptive. we cannot be united with those we do not agree with

so I would also NOT go to them for a meeting. I would politely decline

      • some christian said that unity is beyond doctrine,
so they think that is ok to have unity with catholic church,

but i understand is that catholic church do not worship our God,
they worship devil, there is no common ground to have unity with them,

        • if you disagree on theology, you cannot be united

          • amen ! thanks

            • Hi Marianne,

my friend also suggest me to pray for discernment, i need it so much

The Word says if we lack Wisdom ask for it; that also hold true for Discernment, Understanding and Knowledge of the Lord. , , we must continue to pray that there eyes will be open to the Truth of Elohim.

              God Bless

  15. I think so too. Things in the natural realm (which we can observe) happen because of the spiritual forces (which we can’t obverse) behind it. The best example I have seen is when God allowed Satan to try to wreck Job’s life. God allowed it because he wanted Job to see his weaknesses and make them stronger among other reasons. I believe God did the same with me in my situation. Hopefully now, the work that he has burdened me to start online will lead people toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

  16. Oops, I meant observe, not obverse.

    • god bless you

      • Thank you. I will be writing on Jezebel and Ahab from a deliverance point of view eventually. I’m still married to that woman and there are no signs of bad behaviors anymore because God changed me and that caused a wave that changed everything in my family. My posts are setting everything up. The focus for the time being is primarily on the natural realm. If you have any tips, please let me know.

  17. I forgot to say that your comment on April 17, 2016 on the Jezebel wife and Mother post was the catalyst for the change.
