Revelation 14:6-20 is the contents of the little scroll of Revelation 10.
It is a pronouncement of Judgment. (See Isaiah 34, and Zechariah 5.
The first harvest is the rapture, the second those who are to face wrath.
ok. but how do the events in 14 fit into the overall sequence?
First of all, I do not include verses 1-5, they are part of chapters 12-13.
The Message being preached to all the world is done in varied ways, via the witness of the saints, The repentance that the seals and trumpets produce, and the two witnesses whose message lasts 1260 days. What is important here is that ALL hear the gospel and reject or accept it. Thus there will be no plea of ignorance.
The second Angel = Judgment on Babylon, You have rightly associated with Revelation 17-18, also 16:19
The third angel, again rightly with the MOB of revelation 13, as well as the first bowl, 16:2.
Note the note in verse 12,13. This would imply that Christians will face the MOB, as their deeds follow them.
Harvest of the earth/ one like the son of Man. This ties to all the rapture passages, after the sixth seal, sixth trumpet, which are simultaneous, the 144k, of rev. 14:2-3, revelation 10:7, as I eluded to before, and the two witnesses. All one rapture/harvest.
Winepress of Gods wrath, 7th seal, 7th trumpet, all 7 vials, Judgment on Babylon.
Now note how in the account of the 7 bowls of wrath, the parenthesis found in 16:15. This implies that Christians will be around to witness the first six of these bowls. But not the seventh. I see all the bowls coming after this pronouncement, which is after the sixth trumpet. Remember, there is a time of peace and safety in there, These first six plagues may in fact be the plagues of the two witnesses? Still working on those details though (read 11:6, and compare to first six bowls. some similarity)
Actually,
Revelation 14:6,7 and 8., also correlates with Revelation 18:1,2 and 3.
Revelation 14:6-8.;
“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
Revelation 18:1-3.
“And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.”
Last year when I felt compelled to re-translate Revelation 17 and 18., Revelation 18:1. became rendered as follows;
“And after this I saw another angel descend from heaven, possessing great power; and the world was illuminated with spiritual enlightenment, imbued with saving knowledge in the presence of his glory, [to teach those that had ears to hear].”
This basically ties in directly with Revelation 14:6. and what it says.

REV 14 IS ANOTHER RE-DESCRIPTION OF THE LAST THREE AND 1/2 YEARS OF TIME. Most of the book of Revelation is a series of portraits of the last 3 1/2 years.
REV 6: The A/C takes peace rules for 3 1/2 years then the Lord comes back in the air at Armageddon where the kings of the earth hide from his wrath
REV 12: The dragon goes after the church for 3 1/2 years.
REV 13: The Antichrist rules for 3 1/2 years
REV 11: the two witnesses testify for 3 1/2 years
REV 14:
“Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that GREAT CITY, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, …
12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’”
Here “Babylon” “that great city,” either Mecca or Jerusalem, falls.
When will that take place? At the 3 1/2 year point of Daniel’s final 7 years.
Jesus said when you see the antichrist, the people of Israel should FLEE? Why? Muslim armies will rape and pillage!
Then antichrist will rule the world for how long? 3 1/2 years.
From where? Jerusalem! What will he do? Kill Christians and make them receive the mark for the last 3 1/2 years.
Here that warning falls right into this timeline:
Jerusalem falls as the AC invades. The AC rules from where?
Jerusalem or near Jerusalem.
The Beast rules for 3 1/2 years
He forces all to take the mark, which is why the warning is found here in RV 14:
“do not worship the beast or take his mark!” Make sense right?
And so the saints are told to have patience for the last 3 1/2 years.
What happens after this 3 1/2 years of the beast ruling?
The Lord comes back with a sickle on a cloud, as all the texts in the Bible also says the same thing: he will come back: on a cloud. When he comes back he will proceed to harvest the earth. (the rapture)
What will happen next?
Armageddon where the winepress of his wrath will take place. THis is the last p[art of REV 14: ARMAGEDDON with the winepress
So here in Revelation 14, like all other end time texts in the bible, and in Revelation, is one start to finish picture of the last three and 1/2 years of time, from the Antichrist invading Israel, (Babylon) to his then forcing all to take his mark, to the second coming, to Armageddon. ITS ALL HERE!
SIMPLE RIGHT?
All throughout the bible the same story is repeated:
Israel will invaded by the antichrist.
which causes Israel to FLEE!
The Antichrist rules for some period of time.
The Lord comes back and destroys the Antichrist.
For further study, you may want to read Isaiah 7-14.
There the Assyrian will come against Immanuels land at the end of time.
Then the Lord will come back and deal with the Assyrian. the one who the Lord sent against a godless nation (Israel)

Yes, marianne.. questions attract answers. In my speculation (and speculation is how I figure things out. it’s a creative way to learn but it’s my way).. When the dragon kills the child. The dragon has a ball. It is From something he has done with the two servents. The ball drops when he kills the child… This ball gives him and the entire world hindrance. As.. when the apocolypse advances hindrance is nicked away at. When it drops there is war in heaven. and they were unsucesful and did not prevail But here is the key thing. The angels were freed from heaven. There was no longer an order. it was all scattered into battle. Two key figures in the battle then have to keep working to finally come to a close of the apoclypse.The one who is like the son of man, it is unknown to him at this point. we don’t know. But his brethern, the one who keeps 10 comandments and has etc. etc.. etc.. the dragon wages war with. (as well as the woman at that same timeframe). it is unknown how much time passes but it seems like the dragon makes moves. and things happen.
But again, the key thing.. The angels were freed from heaven and there is war. Would not the new song be their prevelance, then once prevail. do their duty on earth which is the two sickles and the two servents. The lesser is granted to go first, he harvests the earth. The greater, once freed. Harvests the grapes of wrath and it sounds very profound. The two servents deeds are done. Those two things are of great significance. Harvesting the earth and Harvesting the grapes of wrath are the harvest. And harvest is an important (significant) word and thing.. I always imagined the grapes of wrath to be harvesting the people… Immideately following this harvest is the procolomation of the three angels wich seems to cover anyone else who wasn’t part of this harvest, to grant them life for those who continue to die in christ from now on. (and life is the key thing. You want to be in the book of life.. thats it. thats the thing you want)

And I’m sorry to have to say this, but the rest of what you have to say appears to me to be comprised of completely fragmented thoughts without any Biblical foundation whatsoever?

If you think about harvest, that is the thing…. the most profound thing any one is going to do before or after anything on earth. Anything other is not the main event. It is not the deed carried out by two very mysterious and unknowing.
After the harvest it just finish up quick The bowls are the rearranging and preparing away the earth of these things. And it becomes easy…The day of the lord is none other than victory. and if you think about world war 2 victory, it was farily easy. D day was the turning point….
Also, Knowing that you die if you see God, and he is caught up to the throne immediately after he is devoured. I think the dragon killed him by devouring him…
All from the King James bible of course, don’t really know whats in other things. Infact I only trust king James. It is good enough (you don’t have to learn latin, goiing and getting the vulgate…. or septungit) and newer ones are watered down versions of either the king james or something.
The ball has significance. It is the relic of the game the dragon has played with the mighty angel. it is the bane of the mighty angel’s existance but the reward of his labor. At the end of the “great city” the great millstone is cast into the sea. I will explain no further…
The game, is death and There isn’t victory over that, until even after the satanic rebellion is crushed immediately followed by the judgement of all souls and the new Jerusalem. It’s over… (the game outlasts it’s creator and thus fails…)
but the story runs much much deeper and only the two know. infact only the greater knows everything…
The other was participatory in the game too, as the mighty angel’s adversary. but it was the mighty angel’s game because that’s who the dragon bet on. Screwed, they decided to work together and defeat the game, the entire purpose of the apocoypse and dramatic struggle amongst them and the dragon. Death was the opposite of the mighty angel, as his “adversairy’s” opposite was hades. Two and two… The mighty angels antagonists, however were the dragon and the woman.. who were of one mind. The “adversairy’s” antagonist was the antichrist. That is why I belive in my theory that they are mentioned various times in revelation under various listings.

Babylon must first sink before mark of the beast is warned about.
I am not sure if the mark of the beast is an implant or microchip?
They can put into your brain implants without asking anything.
So it does not fit perfectly to a seen sign in forehead of Rev. 13.
I do not belive that the third angel with a loud voice has arrived. He is yet to come. Either have we seen the Babylon fell yet. I think JW is the angel that demands honour to the Creator. Pentecoastals may be the second angel announcing the Babylon fall when it has happened but the third angel has not come yet or then it is Adventists?
We are still in the stage of demand to worship the Creator of everything.
This chapter 14 look like a very interesting puzzle to be resolved. At a glance seems it is an excerpt of some parts of other chapters in John’s vision. Well I think it is pinning three important facts:
1th- It is a recapture of the main goal of the book. As said, the rapture,the beast behavior, the harvesting and the wrath of God against the followers of the the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.
2nd -It is a descrption of the most important events regarding the church at the end times.
3rd- As an excerpt lead us to understand the order of the end times events, meaning that the order of such happenings will prevail in reference to the whole book of Revelation.
At last it teaches the readers how to interpret the book of Revelation. Chapter 14 fit very well as none other in the general order found before an after it.
Marianne – When the church understands that to understand Revelation. You have to read it like it was the 4 gospels. Each Gospel is telling the same story of Salvation. And mention the same stories in most of them and Yet in different ways at times with more or less.
It is called a Recapitulation. Meaning a Vision repeats the same events as described by another vision, but utilizes a different set of symbols. Recapitulation is actually a common strait found in prophecy including the dreams of Joseph (Gen. 37:7-9) The Mark of the Beast of Eze. 9 is a recapitulation that Rev.13:16 etc. and others in Revelation’s talking about the Mark of the Beast. This is how you line up the scriptures and let the Word do the explaining. Eze. 9 is pretty plain. So is Gen. when talking about Cain with the mark. The Mark goes all through the whole O.T. and ends up in Revelations. Just like the Tree of life did. Now talking about Israel in Rev. 14 it does the same thing – it is recapping Israel’s salvation to the End time. They were Gods first fruit in symbolic symbolism.
John had more than one Vision and did not sit down and write the whole Book of Revelation in a month or two. He was on the Isle for 2 years or more.
Here’s how it works. 1st. It explains that Jesus is the Mystery of Gods plan of salvation in chapter 1 and He is also the 7 fold glory of the Person of God. He is Alpha and Omega. then He shows that He is in the Midst of the Church ages. That start out in Alpha and ends up in Omega age. Then it starts another Vision of chapter 4 – Come up hither. Etc.
Revelations is not written in linear fashion as most think. It takes different subjects that are all in the Bible and expounds on them for a few chapters and then goes on to another symbol. This is why people get all mixed up on the trumpets, seals, plague’s , wrath. etc.

I see three themes in the bible.. each greater than the other… first is fire and it first appears with the mighty angel and the little book… the second is violence and that appears at the harvesting of earth and the grapes of wrath.. third and the worst is flesh… the day of the Lord is when the birds are filled with flesh. This relates to fire police and ambulance.. If the fire goes… well not that bad… if the police go, well there would be violence and war… but if the ambulence go, we are deeply deeply screwed.. If ambulence is gone flesh is no longer protected, but luckily for us.. in the apocolypse.. each of the steps is a victory for us… immediately following the victory of flesh we live for a thousand years… and then beyond

Rev 9:14 one saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released, so that they would kill a third of the people.
I was reading this passage (above) in the Bible last week when CNN mention that ISIS was in control of the Mosul Dam in northern Iraq. It was strange because the verse I was reading (Rev 9:14) says: “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” It happens that this dam consists of 4 large towers (picture below), even though I am not a prophet or pretend to be, the vision of these things came to my mind. This dam IS NOT or the Euphrates River but the area of where is located is known as The Euphrates/Tigris Region.
Together with the Tigris, it is one of the two defining rivers of Mesopotamia. Originating in eastern Turkey, the Euphrates flows through Syria and Iraq to join the Tigris in the Shatt al-Arab, which empties into the Persian Gulf.
