Salvation for the Muslims?

The 200 million man army (Rev 9:14-16), (Rev 16:12) is sent to destroy the area around the Euphrates and kill almost the entire Muslim  population.   The area is that of the ancient Babylonian- Persian empire. This includes all land between Egypt, Turkey, and Pakistan.

Does this mean God hates the sons of Ishmael, or wants them destroyed?

The answer is found in the beginning, before Ishmael was born.

The original covenant that God makes with Abraham:

Gen 15:3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

Gen 15:4 And, behold, the word of the LORD [came] unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

Gen 15:5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Gen 15:7 And he said unto him, I [am] the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.

Gen 15:13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land [that is] not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;

Gen 15:16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites [is] not yet full.

Gen 15:18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

Gen 15:19 The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,

Gen 15:20 And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,

Gen 15:21 And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

The conflict of the ages starts with Sarah instructing Abraham to have a child with Hagar:

Gen 16:3 And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

Gen 16:4 And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.

Gen 16:5 And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong [be] upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.

Gen 16:6 But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid [is] in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.

Gen 16:7 And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.

Gen 16:8 And he said, Hagar, Sarai’s maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

Gen 16:9 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

Gen 16:10 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.

Gen 16:11 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou [art] with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.

Gen 16:12 And he will be a wild man; his hand [will be] against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

God announces his covenant with Abraham regarding the land of Canaan:

Gen 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

Gen 17:8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

When Ishmael was about 13 years old, God tells Abraham that Sarai will have a child, (Gen 17:16)

Gen 17:16 And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be [a mother] of nations; kings of people shall be of her.

Abraham intercedes for Ishmael

Gen 17:18 And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!

God replies that Sarah will have the covenant with Issac, not Ishmael, but that Ishmael will be blessed and become a great nation.

Gen 17:19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, [and] with his seed after him.

Gen 17:20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

Gen 17:21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

Sarah has Isaac (Gen 21)

.1 And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
2  For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
3  And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.
4  And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.
.5  And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.
6  And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.
7  And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.
8  And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.

Ishmael, son of Hagar, mocks Sarah and has to leave with his mother

9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.
10  Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondsman and her son: for the son of this bondsman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.
11  And the thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight because of his son.
.12  And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondsman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

*****There seems to be no wars between Isaac and Ishmael during their adulthood. When Abraham dies, they come together and bury him. The conflict between the mothers seemed to be passed on to their children, especially from Hagar to Ishmael. Also, Ishmael would have felt offended that he was sent away from his father’s house, and that Issac was allowed to stay as the favorite.

The promise for Ishmael. God hears his cry

13  And also of the son of the bondsman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed. –

14 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.
15  And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.
16  And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a borsht: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.
17  And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

God’s promise to Ishmael is different from the one given to Isaac:

Gen 16:12 And he will be a wild man; his hand [will be] against every man, and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

Gen 17:20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

Gen 21: 18  Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.
Gen 21: 19 And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.
Gen 21: 20 And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.
Gen 21: 21 And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

***note: the promise to Ishmael has nothing to do with the land of Canaan, only that he would be wild, be blessed, and be a great nation. Ishmael is not given this land for his use, but is to dwell in the wilderness, which is not bad, since there is oil there, which makes him rich.

God has certainly kept his promise to Ishmael. His descendants are rich with oil.

God also plans to assure that Isaac also gets his inheritance (land of Israel). So, fighting over the land is useless. God will give it to the Jews.

So, with the sons of Ishmael following Allah, instead of Yahweh, does this mean there is no hope for their salvation?

No,

For one thing, not all Arabs are Muslims, although most of them are.

Secondly, Jesus specifically instructed his followers to preach the gospel to ALL nations. The unsaved Arabs need to understand that the one they think is ONLY a prophet, Jesus, is actually the author of their salvation.

They cannot get to the Father except by Jesus, and acknowledging who He really is. Jesus is the son of God, and He will come again, not with anyone, like an Imam, but by Himself. Jesus has enough power of His own to rule the earth as King Messiah. He does not need a man’s help. And he is NOT an assistant to a human king. Jesus is the King.

Their understanding of who Jesus really is has been clouded by centuries of misunderstanding by the official church, which spent centuries in the Dark Ages, and in an unenlightened form. Religion had replaced truth for too long. And Islam would not have seemed so reasonable if the church done a better job. Mohammad did not understand what Christianity taught, because Christianity did a bad job of explaining itself.

These are the mistakes that Christianity made, which resulted in a religion that was totally unnecessary. Some complaints that Islam has about Christian teachings are justified, because the Christians were too lazy to study their own scriptures and explain them properly. But for Muslims, as well as other people, the truth is there in the Bible if they just stop, read, and study what it says.

Third, while Christians do not accept Allah as Yahweh, Muslims sincerely believe this. Muslims need to pray to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to them who Allah is, and who Yahweh is. If they are the same God, then their teachings will be the same, and the personality will be the same. It says in scripture that God never changes. My finding is that Allah is not Yahweh, the God of Israel, and his teachings contradict what Yahweh says. There is no way to have Jesus in your life, and accept teachings against Yahweh, the God of the Bible. Only Jesus can offer salvation and a path to heaven. Good deeds are not enough, since people sin too much, and cancel everything they do, that is even partly good.

Once the final war of the earth comes, Arabs need to forget about what man has taught them, and look to see what the Bible says about their futures. Man will always twist what God says into something selfish or wrong. Only God is right. When your life is in danger of being destroyed, only Yahweh, Father God, Creator of the Universe, will be able to save those who call upon Him in sincerity. The Bible is for everyone.

Yahweh, Father God, does not want anyone destroyed, or to perish. He wants every child he created to believe in Him and love Him, and to trust Jesus for salvation. He is also a God of justice, and will have to punish those that reject him and his Messiah son, Jesus.

There are over a billion Muslims. I want them to know and understand who Jesus really is, so they will be saved when God’s wrath hits this wicked planet. I hope each Muslim parent, for the sake of their children, seeks out the truth, and proof, of who Jesus really was, and still is.
