Signet Ring Restored Again?

A ring from ancient times has prophetic significance in modern Israel?

The signet ring of the King of Judah was established somewhere in the timeline of the Davidic dynasty of Israel.

Nothing was written about what was actually inscribed on the ring, only that its existed.

During the times of King Coniah, one who sinned against God, and Jeremiah the prophet, the signet was removed.

As I live, saith the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck thee thence; Jeremiah 22:24

So this preceded the Babylonian exile.

Haggai was a contemporary of Zechariah and lived AFTER the Babylonian exile

The signet ring symbolized a ring worn on the hand of Yahweh, showing that a king held divine favour.

Thus, Haggai is implicitly, but not explicitly, saying that Zerubbabel would preside over a restored Davidic kingdom.[2]

Notice the date, 520 BC, above, for Haggai:

Approximately 2535 years ago.

And the ring was in existence 100 years before that during time of Coniah, approximately 2600-2700 years ago.

200 years before Coniah was King Joash of Judah.

That would be approximately 2700-2800 years ago.

Joash was born in the year 3055 (after Creation) and he became king at the age of six (in the year 3061).

Back to the occurrence of name in bible:

The name Netanyahu appears a number of times in the Bible, specifically in the books of Jeremiah 40 and 1Chronicles.

(1)  Not only is the name Nethaniah related to king Joash, but the name is also associated with another royal name.

(2)   Nethaniah ( Netanyahu) (Jer 41:1) was the son of Elishama, who was one of King David’s sons (1 Chr 3:6).

So, two lineages known about:

So, if the current Netanyahu is part of this Elishama lineage, then he is a descendent of the royal family of David.

And it would be fit that he be chosen by God to preside and lead, as the Davidic kingdom is reinstated by Messiah/Moshiach.

If Netanyahu is related to Nethaniah, son of Joash ( Yoash), then he is still of royal heritage.

Conclusions and Thoughts

While many names are duplicated in different families, it seems that only royalty, or the very wealthy, would have signet rings.

Both

(1) Nethaniah, son of Elishama, and

(2) Nethaniah, son of Joash are royalty,

so the Prime Minister Netanyahu may be related to one of them, due to his surname.

But whether he is related or not, it seems providential that a signet ring from approximately 2800 years ago, with Netanyahu’s name on it, surfaces at the time Netanyahu is Prime Minister, and running for re-election.

And the time of Moshiach / Messiah is at hand!
