State of the Union

This speech was given 2600 years ago by the prophet Jeremiah.

–

Lamentations 5

–

1 Remember, Lord, what has happened to us;

look, and see our disgrace.

–

2 Our inheritance has been turned over to strangers,

our homes to foreigners.

–

3 We have become fatherless,

our mothers are widows.

–

4 We must buy the water we drink;

our wood can be had only at a price.

–

5 Those who pursue us are at our heels;

we are weary and find no rest.

–

6 We submitted to Egypt and Assyria

to get enough bread

–

7 Our ancestors sinned and are no more,

and we bear their punishment.

–

8 Slaves rule over us,

and there is no one to free us from their hands.

–

9 We get our bread at the risk of our lives

because of the sword in the desert.

–

–

This also describes modern day America, and, most likely, many other countries

Our national debt has caused us to lose our inheritance to foreign nations like China.

Our money is turned over to illegal aliens, for free housing, services, medical and food, while our taxpayers lose their jobs, homes and go hungry.

Or the money is sent overseas to terror groups.

Most all jobs are sent overseas to non-Americans.

–

Our sons and daughters have died in war, leaving many families in grief.

We buy the water we drink, when water should be free.

Our “wood,” sources of heat (electricity) and building come at high prices.

Our enemies are relentless, and are here in our country, to destroy us.

Our government leaders submit to Egypt, Syria and other Muslim countries, to support the Muslim brotherhood and other anti-American organizations.

We have created generational curses in this land.

We suffer for what our ancestors did, and have created curses for our children.

Foreigners, illegal aliens, United Nations, all rule over us now.

They have more rights than citizens do.

Somehow our survival depends on appeasing ISIS in the desert.

Our government apologizes for Islamic terror, and ignores the evil inflicted upon innocent victims.

It thinks, instead, ISIS should be shown compassion and given jobs in response to their slaughter.

There is no mercy shown the victims.

I would say we are way past where Israel was when the Babylonians invaded the land, and took them captive.

In our land, we have already been invaded, and the invaders were invited in, and paid to come here.

Now they are in control in the highest levels of government as appointees and elected officials.

–

The invasion has already occurred, and we are now a nation of slaves.

–
