Subway – Dream 7

Group directed through subway tunnel to a “football field.”

–

I am in a medium to large sized building where various people gather.

Lights are on, or it is bright daylight, with lights coming through windows. However, I do not notice the windows.

People are herded out of the building to a tunnel below, which looks like a subway tunnel.

I noticed that some of the women had headscarves on, so there may be some Muslim women, or other ethnic groups like them, in the crowd.

People seem to have coats on.

They are walking as an organized group toward an area they are told is a football field.

I am observing them, and not in the group.

I think to myself, there is no football field under the ground, so I’m not joining them.

I go back to the building and try to figure out how and where to hide before the soldiers come.

I look at closets, boxes to hide in, etc., although the best idea would be to leave the building completely, if I am able.

What US cities have subways?

Answer:

Philadelphia, New York, Buffalo, Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Baltimore, Atlanta, Cleveland, San Francisco, San Juan, Newark

From what I can research, at least some subways in these cities will bring people to stadiums for games, if there is a stadium in the city.

Example:

Philadelphia
The quickest way to Lincoln Financial Field is south along the SEPTA Broad Street Subway Line. Exit at the last southbound stop, Pattison Avenue.

So in the dream, I may have been wrong about the football stadium not being a destination.

I am not from a city like that, so I am not familiar with subways and stadiums.

But, I still feel uncomfortable about being herded in that direction.

The crowd reminded me of a scene out of world war 2.

Also, it seemed to be cooler weather, since people were wearing coats, and it was possibly football season.

Or, it could be past football season, but still cool weather.
