This is the day, on 2 different dates in history, that the holy Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by invading armies.

It is a day of mourning.

It is also a time of hope, if we learn our lesson from the past.

–

The nations around the world can also learn from this.

The world is steeped in sin, and rebellion against God.

It is time for God to punish mankind.

We must turn from our wicked ways, and grieve as God grieves over our sins.

–

The nations most blessed, but also the most wicked, will be the first ones punished.

No one should rejoice at the demise of any nation, because their turn is coming.

–

Instead of focusing on Israel, or another nation, and what is wrong, think on your own lives, and your own nation.

Repent for your nation.

When the punishment comes, ask God for mercy, if you have repented of your sins.

This includes hatred, gossip, immorality which is now fashionable, lies, cheating, harming others.

–

If we do not repent, God will destroy OUR temples, our bodies, our nations, our communities, our societies.

–

We are all responsible for our own behavior….God does not listen when we blame others for our own sins.
