I know a woman pastor who has all the exact same characteristics you mentioned in this article. Her name is Pastor Sun Hui East and she runs her church (First Love) using manipulation, fear and coercion. Many people have been sucked in to her ministry. In my opinion she is dangerous and I fear for her followers.
I know this Pastor Sun East you talk about. She leads a group of people in a cult called First Love Harvest Church. She has a film company that produces Christian films called Strong Foundations. She completely operates in this Jezebel spirt. Read this about the Jezebel Spirit and if you are involved with this Pastor Sun Hui East Warren in ANY WAY get out before she destroys your family, your marriage, your relationships. Jezebel, in our society
“But I have this against you, that you let the woman Jezebel say she is a prophet [claiming to be inspired] and give false teaching, making my servants go after the desires of the flesh and take food offered to false gods.” (Rev 2:20)

Who was Jezebel??
Jezebel was an actual person. Jezebel, the Biblical character, first appears in First Kings 16, when she marries Ahab, king of Israel. Jezebel was the daughter of Ethbaal, the king and high priest of the Baal worshipping Sidonians. Baal worship was closely associated with obsessive sensuality and often involved sex acts. Jezebel, as a daughter of this perverse kingdom, was raised in an atmosphere where sex was a path to power and influence.
Ahab, King of Israel, was completely subdued and dominated by Jezebel (a type of modern man). Jezebel then introduced the worship of Ashtoroth to Israel. This god/goddess, represented the Canaanite culture of the moon, was a power-hungry goddess of love and sensuality. Priestess-prostitutes filled her shrines and serviced her worshippers. The lure of these legal, readily available erotic encounters was more than the men of Israel would resist. By Jezebel’s influence, most Israelites, the northern kingdom, left the worship of God for Baal and Ashtoroth. The prophet Elijah laments that only 7000 men in the entire nation were not swayed by her control.
Ashtoroth or Asteroth for the Philistine was the same as the Semite Astarte, both modelled from the Babylonian Ishtar, Her other counterparts are Isis and Hathor of Egypt, Kali of India, and Aphrodite and Demeter of Greece. The Roman counterpart was Diana the same as in Act 19:35. Indeed the same goddess in these days goes by the name of Mary.
The Council of Ephesus, 431 AD had the cult of Diana the virgin goddess (in Greek = Artemis, in Phoenician = Astarte, her cult continued in Ephesus until 431) supplanted by the cult of Mary by the Roman Catholic Church to legitimise that Mary was the “mother of god” and the “mother of all” and not Diana that also had these attributes. They also gave to Mary all the other attributes of Diana such as: “queen of heaven” and “divine virgin” etcetera. Before 431 AD Mary was not recognized and so they effectively paganised Christianity at Ephesus and Diana, still alive, had her name changed to that of Mary.
What kind of spirit
The Jezebel spirit is born of witchcraft and rebellion. This demon is one of the most common spirits in operation today, both in the church and in the world, and it is a powerful enemy of the body of Christ. She operates freely on sincere believers whose hearts are for God individually, and has also attained positions of power as powers and principalities within the Church. This spirit establishes its stronghold primarily in women; however, many men have been victimized by it as well, where it functions as a “controlling” spirit.
The spirit of Jezebel is behind the daughter of Democracy, i. e. Feminism.
The Spirit of Jezebel is basically a controlling spirit working through the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. It has, in general, two aims:
To gain identity, glory, recognition, power, and satisfy the need for the “praises of men”. This is a consequence of the desire for love and self-worth focussed on SELF.
Secondly the Jezebel spirit is a men hater and seeks to emasculate all men, and divest them of their authority and power over others. It fosters a distrust and hatred of men in general. The “Jezebel spirit” is in a constant agitation, terribly aggressive, very determined, callous, controlling, selfish, power-hungry, manipulative, unrepentant, deceitful spirit, an overwhelmingly evil spirit, and those are mostly only it’s good points! Indeed this spirit can be definitely named “Satan’s woman”.
There are two main types of the Jezebel spirit:
The high-profile type is generally gregarious, outspoken and highly visible. She is often seen as the “woman who wears the pants in the family”.
The low-profile type is soft-spoken, giving the illusion of being solicitous, motherly, protective, even appearing very submissive. The low-profile type may be the most dangerous, as she is the most difficult to discern. She relies heavily on manipulation for her power, in extremely subtle performances.
Some Characteristics
Within these two main types there are two manifestations: the SEDUCER and the COOL.
The SEDUCER uses any type of seduction available to gain control and power, as a method of manipulation but specialises in spiritual seduction to operate on both males and females. Her seduction usually uses subtle flattery and her seduction is spiritual fornication. Men are particularly blind and easy victims to the subtleties of this seduction, as she flatters them with her attention. Women seduced by the Jezebel are blinded to their own seduction, as they do not expect it, or are not aware of such manipulation.
A good example of the COOL Jezebel personality can frequently be seen as the efficient (and often plain) executive assistant at the side of a powerful businessman or church leader. This Jezebel often lacks a gregarious personality, but may be very outspoken and aggressive.
Some of this spirit’s features:
Deceiver
This spirit works in “private”, people outside her circle hardly know her manoeuvring and are an easy pray for manipulation. Those that are possessed by her tend to defend her from any form of criticism. Like many men today defend feminism.
Man-Hater
Jezebel hates men and majors in destroying them. She cannot have a true Godly relationship with men; because her desire is to strip them of all their perceived power and then destroy them, to emasculate them emotionally and spiritually.
Un-submitted
Jezebels revile (despise and show no respect for) authority over her. Building on “dislike of authority” (especially of men since they are frequently the authority figure) coupled with rebellion, she hates anyone placed in authority over her (particularly men), and seeks to destroy them and take their power. Jezebel sees herself as the “goddess on the pedestal”.
Power-Hungry
Jezebel is extremely power-hungry, respecting only power stronger than her own. She disdains or considers herself superior to anyone she perceives as having no power, or power less than hers. She works through her conquest to attain power over others.
Intelligent
This spirit from hell is very intelligent and finds very challenging to control and manipulate intellectually able people. She is able to manipulate them so well that actually they worship her.
Hard Worker
Jezebels are frequently “super achievers”, which sadly is admired both in the church and business world. She is also a master in hinder others to achieve anything, kind of: doing everything she can to prevent others achieving their set goals for then criticise them for not having achieved these aims.
Self Worship
Internally Jezebel worships herself even though externally she may portray a picture of humility and submission. She is very proud of herself and extremely vain, and in her pride can only talk about herself. They are usually very attractive and they use that to seduce their victims.
Jealous
She cannot suffer other getting attention over herself and she will do all she can to prevent others receiving attention and recognition. If one gets between Jezebel and the person she is trying to control, she’ll attack most viciously, trying her best to destroy that relationship with that person. She will try and destroy his reputation, undermine his authority and generally stop at nothing to separate anyone from her intended “victim”. Beware!
Manipulator
Jezebel uses other people as objects, where it suits her need, to gain control, influence and power. Once she has gained the control desired, she generally rejects and tosses the people aside. If they are in her family, she does this emotionally.
Queen Bee
Jezebel demands worship from others (the “queen-bee” syndrome). She must have dominance and control in her home. Other family members exist just to please her. Jezebel requires “worship” from her family and followers … to be their “goddess”.
Domineering
The Jezebel is extremely authoritarian (“bossy”) by nature, though subtly with the low profile type. She is easily offended if her authority is questioned, and will often respond with extreme anger at even the slightest offence. She demands blind loyalty.
Unrealistic Expectations of Others
Her expectations of others are always unrealistic, because others cannot meet her demand for complete submission. If they do try, she despises them and casts them aside when she has what she wants out of them. Anyone attempting to relate to a person with this spirit is literally in a “no-win situation”. Nothing pleases this spirit.
Perfectionist
Perfectionism is a common characteristic of the Jezebel, generating self-hatred in the victim, and a despising of others around her who fail to meet her exaggerated standards. This is part of the “unrealistic expectations” she has toward herself and others, but it is also an excuse for disrespect toward others, especially those in authority since they don’t “measure up” so she doesn’t have to show respect, of course.
Seduction, Control, Manipulation
Control and manipulation are the strongest parts of the Jezebel nature. These are “spirits of witchcraft” and are extremely dangerous! Nearly everything the Jezebel does utilizes one or both spirits to attain her goal. Jezebel is the ultimate manipulator. The adulterous woman says: “This is the way of an adulteress: she eats and wipes her mouth and says, “I have done no wrong.”” (Pro 30:20)
The first step in Jezebel’s work is to control her victim by seduction. She will use flattery, smooth prophetic sayings, pleasant words and seducing tears. She views children in a marriage as tools and weapons to manipulate hubby and family.
She knows how to use deep emotional hurts and wounds to manipulate and control as she creates apparent deep ties with others. Jezebel loves to pull people unto herself and away from those who can truly speak into their lives. Jezebel flows best in a whirlwind of confusion and turmoil, where she works best.
Shark
Jezebel is like a shark; she is most vicious and dangerous. She circles the lives of others looking for teachable, seducible, controllable, “disciples” of her own. Jezebel likes to birth spiritual children of her own as she looks for disciples to eat from her own table. She will look for those that are in rebellion, who are weak, wounded, or those who are contending, bucking, and fighting any established spiritual authority.
Possessive
Jezebel is very possessive and domineering; she wants to control over others. Jezebel loves power, “Give me, give me, give me.” You see, money is not really the issue with this spirit; it’s Power and Authority that she’s after. She likes to be in control of others life because she draws her strength from controlling others. She spiritually drains her victims. She uses faults or weaknesses she perceives in the person she is attempting to control to create feelings of shame or guilt, and therefore ultimately submission to her will. She also often uses fear and intimidation to manipulate others into submission to her.
Self-pity
She uses self-pity and her own weaknesses to manipulate another into submitting to her out of compassion or pity. Feeling sorry for Jezebel, is not compassion, it’s folly!
Even though often very gifted of the Lord, the Jezebel will frequently operate in the false discernment of the enemy by speaking words of knowledge gained from familiar spirits, and NOT from the Spirit of God. This is “witchcraft”. The power of witchcraft is derived from Satan himself and every attempt at manipulation or control “sells out” more to Satan and strengthens the deception the Jezebel is under
She will even use prayer to manipulate the one she is attempting to control, especially audible prayed over that person to create the illusion, that doing Jezebel’s will is actually “obeying God”, or to generate fear or other emotion within the person which the Jezebel can then use for manipulation of them.
This is what Rev 2:20 is all about.
Wants to Power
Jezebels are attracted to people of power like “moths to flames”. Often, a very intelligent, efficient, attractive, and even blatant Jezebel can be found serving “at the feet” of prominent leaders, even in the church. The deception and/or seduction of the Jezebel is often so successful that the leader does not recognize who is at his right hand. The Jezebel’s true desire is to wrest the power from the person being served. If that person is prophetic in nature, the actual mission is to destroy them by any means available (destroy their credibility, undermine their authority, discredit their ministry, cause them to fall into sexual temptation, etc.).
Ambitious
Jezebels are desirous of “moving up the ladder” wherever they are, not that ambition is always “evil”. It’s just another character trait to look for. However, you simply will not find a humble, repentant, democratic and non-ambitious Jezebel.
Convinced
While Jezebel’s beliefs system is obviously incorrect and evil, they are very firmly held beliefs.
Jezebels are usually people of deep convictions. As mentioned earlier, many people controlled by the Jezebel spirit have a true heart for God and earnestly desire to serve him. The original Jezebel (the Spirit’s first noteworthy in queen of Israel) was devoutly religious, but was at total enmity with God. She worshipped at the altar of Baal (worship of the flesh). Modern day Jezebels may indeed believe they are serving the one true God; however, the true hidden agenda is “self-worship”. In many cases they have a Private Interpretation on the Bible, but they will vehemently insist they are correct.
Murmuring, Complaint, and Criticism
Murmuring and complaint and criticism a type of spirit very popular everywhere, especially in the church, which one of the spirit most used by the evil one. She uses criticism of perceived faults in others to build up her own self-esteem, and to justify her disobedience of, or lack of respect for, others. Because she tends to perfectionism, any fault she finds in others is grounds for disobeying their authority. She uses criticism as a tool to manipulate those around her, and along with murmuring and complaint, causes divisiveness to weaken her opposition and thereby to gain control over and to destroy them.
Lustful
Jezebels are “lustful spirits” with lust for power being primary; however, as mentioned earlier, their lust may be manifested sexually, if it will bring the desired result. The manifestation varies from a wife withholding sexual union from the husband for manipulative purposes, to utilizing sexual temptation to draw one more powerful into a compromised position that will cause their destruction or downfall.
Jezebel displays angry, vicious and sometimes violent behaviour when opposed. She will turn on the one who refuses to do her will or submit to her (especially if she has been successful in manipulating this person in the past), frequently with a vicious, berating verbal attack aimed at humiliation. The emotional damage caused by these outbreaks can be devastating to the one at whom she directs her wrath. This is often the source of terrible emotional wounds for her children and spouse. When this angry behaviour happens in public, it often exposes the true spirit in operation to others who may have been previously deceived. Watch for it.
Infirmities and Disease
Jezebels frequently enjoy people’s (including their own) poor health, especially the “Low-profile” type. For them, it is a tool for attention, sympathy and other forms of manipulation. The tragedy is that this form of “invited infirmity” eventually leads to real physical problems, and becomes a part of the destruction wrought on the host by this spirit, but it serves to further Jezebel’s ends, not to weaken her.
Have you ever felt insecure? Be careful, Jezebel loves to delve in the realm of insecurity. She will spot this in you “instantly” and then the seduction begins.
Destruction
In addition to destroying those around her, Jezebel especially hates the prey she is controlling (remember the mission of Jezebel is to kill the prophets: the victim is often herself anointed of God to be prophetic), and will ultimately cause her victim to self-destruct. This is referred to as the “Black Widow spider syndrome” since black widow spiders kill their mates. In the spirit realm, there are two applications: 1. the Jezebel spirit seeks to kill the male authority figures (or prophets) and 2. She seeks to kill her victim, which is mated to her when Jezebel takes control of their life.
Cursing
Jezebels curse everyone, unwittingly bringing a curse upon themselves, most of the time. Criticism is a form of cursing, both of the person being criticized, and of God their Maker. Murmuring and complaint is a cursing of circumstances, which also curses God for allowing them. Jezebel is a master of criticism, murmuring and complaint, as mentioned previously. Often those whom she is at enmity with are deliberately cursed in a conscious effort to “punish” and “bring them back into line” to bring them back under her control. Jezebel firmly believes she has right on her side in doing these things, and displays vicious and callous disregard for the well-being and independence of others, having convinced herself that it is ultimately for their good as well and that she knows best and really has their best interests at heart in doing so. Those people who have been on the receiving side of Jezebel’s curses feel the anger and the viciousness other curses acutely and many succumb to them. However, for those under the “protection of the Cross”, these curses are most often transformed into blessings instead, leaving Jezebel sapped of emotional energy, frustrated, confused and completely defeated; wondering what went wrong?
Superiority Complex
Jezebels frequently perceive themselves as intellectually and spiritually superior to others, and “talk down ” to others. This attitude is actually despising of others.
The Jezebel Spirit absolutely hates and shuns Repentance and Humility.
Because the Jezebel spirit is prideful and rebellious, she hates repentance and humility. These are two mighty weapons, which can be used against her. This is also the key in discerning this spirit -a pride-filled rebellious person refusing to repent.
Jezebel and Fashion
Jezebel is very much attracted to the latest fashion in dressing and she dresses up to demonstrate superiority and literally to “kill”.
Bitterness and Resentment
Bitterness and resentment against past hurts and offences are nurtured in the victim by the Jezebel spirit, because she knows a root of bitterness will grow like a cancer and manifest itself in all sorts of physical ailments, which she can use as tools of manipulation, as noted above. Of course, this cancer of bitterness is also slowly destroying the victim. In many cases, the countenance of the victim gradually grows more and more unattractive, and in the end, victims controlled by the Jezebel spirit may resemble the very witch like crones often used to symbolize witchcraft -where this spirit is birthed. The victim rots from the inside out, physically and spiritually, and it shows. People eventually find Jezebel’s “Spiritual ugliness” very repulsive.
Jezebel Covens
Many Jezebels will be drawn to the most influential Jezebel in operation. Though this is done unconsciously, it has the effect of creating a fully-fledged and very effective witches’ coven, with a “high priestess” in charge with devastating results! You can see them spread all over the country in the Feministic organisations.
Jezebel and Children:
Jezebel’s view of children is perverted. She says she loves them, but she really doesn’t even know how to love them, using them as weapons to advance her own selfish needs. Children are simply pawns in her power and control games. Indeed the trend now all over the Western world is to have very few children, if any. A Jezebel Feminist said: “The most merciful thing a large family can do to one of its infant members is to kill it.”
Jezebel is a classic “Back-stabber”:
Jezebel is the classic back-stabber, She will smile at you, give you a hug and a kiss and then, as soon as you turn-around, stab you in the back, repeatedly, with vigour, enjoying every wound she inflicts. She is a most vicious and devious spirit. Beware.
This, just to mention only a few of the characteristics of this very evil spirit from Hell.
What about the Spirit of Ahab?
One thing to be noted in these days is that in general there are more women in church than men. This occurs when the “spiritual and natural” head of the family is the women. Men have the tendency to “run to the hills” when women infringe upon their roles.
The spirit of Ahab is a weak and emasculated figure, indeed the majority of modern men are under that spirit, enslaved to their women. There is an adage that says: “There are two kind of people in this world: those who rule and those that are ruled, if you do not rule you are ruled”.
The couple Jezebel and Ahab represent very well our present society.
It is Jezebel that was the more spiritual, it was her that took the leading role, Jezebel used Ahab’s emotional stresses to endear herself to him, it was this woman that drove her husband to do what she wanted, she was ruling the roost in every aspect. Is not that a picture of our Democratic culture?
But what happens when the woman takes the leading role that God had prescribed for men?
If a woman plays her husband’s role in directing the family, he will lose his natural drive to bear responsibility.
When a woman takes the lead, she is playing the masculine role. Unless her husband fights her for supremacy, he must assume second place. And men who are forced into subjection to their wives tend to be angry, dejected and retreat like Ahab.
When a husband steps into a spiritual role at his wife’s command, he becomes vulnerable to her guidance in that role. This is against God’s directives and the nature He gave, and often brings conflict in the family and in the church.
Many men turn their heads when they see their wives stepping out of their God given role. These men would rather not have to deal with the stone-cold anger they would receive from their wives if they offered any resistance. Have you seen that behaviour here and there?
Ahab chose not to notice when his wife worked behind the scenes. Many men turn their heads when they see their wives stepping out of their God-given role. Jezebel knew that she was not the rightful head, so she invoked her husband’s name to give her word authority. Did you ever hears it said, “Oh, my husband will not let me do that,” when you knew in truth he really would not care? It is a way to maintain control and stop those who would question you. When a woman does this, she stops any ministry God has to her.
Jezebel was deeply concerned about spiritual matters and took steps to help promote her spiritual leaders. In the process, she provoked her husband to destroy those in spiritual authority she did not like. Have you ever seen women influencing their husbands to think evil of those in authority because you did not like something about them? When a woman comes to this place she might as well change her name to “Jezebel.”
The fact is that man is made in such a way that he has no defence against the love of a righteous wife, but if he falls into the end of a Jezebel, truly is life will be hell on earth.
Unfortunately for men, with the advent of Democracy and the so called egalitarian approach there are billions of Jezebels in the world and the once manly men have been reduced to weak type of Ahab’s, they have been mentally emasculated and the world is in deep decadence because of that, as we see today.
How many women do you actually know they do this today?: “10 An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. 11 The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. 12 She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life.” (Pro 31:10-12)
How powerful is the demon of Jezebel?
For seven years, God had carefully protected Elijah. God fed him in the wilderness. When Ahab’s armies sought to kill Elijah, they were unable to lay a single finger on him.
Finally, in a showdown at Mt. Carmel, Elijah called down fire from heaven and resoundingly defeated and killed the priests of Baal. All Israel fell at his feet in repentance, worshipping the true God. Elijah was the man of the hour. He was vindicated, victorious, and clearly in charge.
Nevertheless, when Jezebel sent Elijah a single threat, he suddenly turned coward and fled to the desert. Anxious, depressed, and miserable, he begged God to kill him! Typical of men today, run to the hills. Once I asked one of our secretaries to prepare some papers, I gave her plenty time, but when time came they were not ready, so I let her know my displeasure in no uncertain terms. She looked at me with all the hate she could muster and hissed between her teeth the usual feminist phrase: “you are a male chauvinist”. “Yes” I responded, “on so is my Father for he created them “male And Female””. She looked a me rather violently, I felt she was about to hit me, (be sure that had she done that I would have returned the favor) but she turned around and never talked to me ever again, but the papers were made ready pronto and I had no problem with her with other papers. You see she hated me, but she respected me for I stood my ground. How many men would have done that in these days? Methinks very few.
It makes NO sense. Elijah enjoyed supernatural protection for seven years. He watched fire fall from heaven and defeat his enemies, yet when a single angry woman threatened him one time, he lost every shred of vision and ran away. He moaned in self-pity and depression, begging God to kill him! Surely that was a magnificent display of God’s power and that power was with Elijah, but at a word from Jezebel he forgot all that and ran in fear. Surely that must have annoyed the Lord at least a little, for it seems that in that occasion Elijah feared more Jezebel that the Lord God.
This is a great example of Jezebel’s powerful demonic “anointing” to intimidate, create fear, and cause men of God to withdraw. Jezebel steals our vision. Jezebel will even make us depressed and anxious when there is nothing significantly different in our circumstances. If there are difficult circumstances, this spirit will tell us they are insurmountable, impossible, and overwhelming. Jezebel will make us feel like dying when in reality, we are God’s man of the hour.
Jezebel’s witchcraft will attack key leaders in her targeted area through intimidation. Those under attack may awaken one morning to find it takes effort just to breathe. All joy seems to depart. Spiritual life seems irrelevant. Demonic voices will echo in our minds “something’s wrong with you!” We may suddenly find ourselves in unreasonable anxiety, fearing tragedy or death. Much of what is called “depression” in the ministry is simply Jezebel.
Jezebel wants to paralyze with fear, condemnation, depression, apathy or whatever it takes until we withdraw. The only answer for those under Jezebel’s attack is perseverance in battle. We must remain on course no matter how long it takes!
The sad thing is that she is so successful in her endeavour these days.
War
The war continues today between Jezebel and Elijah. Like all wars, there are casualties. Leaders sometimes fall. Soldiers sometimes withdraw. Jezebel wants to keep the church and the world within its present boundaries. She claims to decide the extent of the church locally. We must not tolerate this.
What we must do
First, we must rid ourselves of Jezebel’s ways. We cannot cast out lust when we harbor lust in our lives. We cannot bring down a spirit of control if we use manipulation and hype to control our congregations. We must examine our own ways, and repent of Jezebel.
Second, it takes Jehu. Although Elijah was Jezebel’s enemy, it took JEHU to trample Jezebel.
Jehu took no prisoners and showed no mercy to Jezebel. He had singleness of purpose and was driven by it. As he approached Jezebel those who saw his chariot noted he “drives furiously” (2Ki 9:20). When others offered peace and compromise, Jehu responded “How can there be peace as long as the harlotries and witchcrafts of Jezebel are many?” (2Ki 9:22)
This is repeated in the NT: “What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?” (2Co 6:15) NO COMPROMISE
Jehu would not rest until Jezebel was dead. Her pleasures could not attract him. Her threats did not deter him. He would not tolerate Jezebel.
Jesus says we too cannot TOLERATE Jezebel. (Rev 2:20) We must learn the prophetic power of the word “No!” We must give no ground.
When Jezebel attempted to captivate Jehu, he did not even allow himself to be drawn into conversation with her. Instead, he called on her eunuchs (a type of today’s men) to cast her down from her balcony. Those with the Jehu anointing will call to Jezebel’s emasculated slaves to rise up above their miserable situation, and they too will cast her down, and be set free.
“NO” is the operative word against Jezebel, when those in spiritual authority say “NO” to her, she is ready for war. Remember, Jezebel is a warring spirit who is always dressed for battle.

Everything mentioned above about this Jezebel Spirit is SPOT ON. I have seen this spirit destroy families, and entire churches. Many of these people know the bible inside and out and use it to control people using manipulation. I knew a church member who operated in this Jezebel Spirit and she would use “prophecy” to bring people under her control. She would tell the pastor that she had inside information about different members that came from God and would often separate friends, husbands and wives, and children from parents by using her “inside knowledge” to divide people and bring strife. She hid her evil behind the cloak of being a Godly woman who talked directly to God. This spirit uses witchcraft and familiar spirits to get their information that they later use as leverage to hurt people around them. If you see marriages falling apart, friendships desolving and parents at odds with their children constantly than odds are you have a congregation that is being influenced by a jezebel spirit. Yes, you are correct. The Pastor of this church was an Ahab spirit and so were most of the men in the congregation. We had an assistant pastor who was spiritually gifted and also who had a Jehu spirit. He identified, confronted and eventually through the woman with the Jezebel spirit out of the congregation. Sadly, it divided the church and many were hurt in the process. You could see the clear disintegration of the authority in the male leadership as she slowly but surely sowed seeds of deception through out the members. Most of the congregation did nor have a good understanding of this spirit of Jezebel as she used “gifts” flattery, false prophecy and scripture to confuse people into believing she was a true Christ follower. She also would tear people down by little comments about their appearance, prayer language, relationships or whatever else she could find an insecurity with. People in the church idolized her because she claimed to have audible conversations with God and could “see” spirits on people. I believe her prophecy came from a familiar spirit and she would use information to instill fear and gain control over people. She would pull intimate details from peoples lives and befriend them to start poisoning their relationships. The confusing part to many people is that she came across as so spiritual but this is a BIG part of the Jezebel spirit and why is confuses so many people in the church. Interestingly, she also attracted other members of the church who possessed the Jezebel spirit and this is something to watch out for as well. Jezebels do NOT have happy marriages and almost 100 percent of the time you will find them with men who possess the Ahab spirit (meek, submissive, eager to serve). Many will be divorced many times over and they will get in between couples who are happily married to try and hurt the marriage. She is now gone from our congregation but not without leaving huge amounts of destruction on the way out.
What you have described here is exactly the way this Pastor Sun Hui East acted but the worst part is she is the pastor and fully controls her congregation with all the same things you mentioned in your experience. She has turned First Love Harvest Church into a full blown cult and uses her production company Strong Foundations to recruit new member. She moved her 100 person congregation from Aurora Colorado to San Antonio Texas and broke up many marriages and families in the process. This woman is dangerous and I pray that others will not get sucked into her cult.

I too used to go to First Love harvest Church and have witnessed all of the things that were stated here with Pastor Sun Hui East. I watched her break of many marriages and gain complete control over many people who came to her church for help. I was lucky to get out but I have watched many people manipulated, conned, and duped by this cult. I have seen people sell their homes and give every penny to this Pastor Sun Hui East. I have seen people empty their bank accounts and many times manipulated not to tell their spouse. She does operate under the Jezibel Spirit described here and I was actually just Googling her name and came across this post about her. Everything you talk about here describes this pastor and how she runs this cult. EVERY last description of the Jezibel spirit fits her! I did not realize what was happening while I was there because she seemed to know things about me and others around her. I now see it was Witchcraft. you cannot expose her in her own church, as she has a support system there. you would have to have evidence and then go to public media to expose her….the people there also have a responsibility to wake up…they are there because she is meeting some need in them that they should repent of..

Dig a little deeper and you will see how this Pastor uses people to create a kingdom where they worship her. Her fruit is many lives that are broken and totally depepndent on her. The people in this cult do not have jobs and the ones who did lost them because she demanded they would be at her service every minute. Many marriages have broken up as a result and if this pastor was operating out of a love for Jesus she would have encouraged her members to work on their marriages. Im not sure what information you were reading on her but her being a woman has nothing to do with the critisism that has been brought against her. She has been sued many times for some crazy things. One of them was she oredered 6 grown men from her church to hold down a young boy in her cult and they took turns hitting him several times each with a large wooden plank. She lost that lawsuit and ended up having to pay out a very large amount of money. Your information isn’t accurate. The truth is, 6 men held a young man under water for long periods of time in an attempt to cast demons out of him. I know this because my brother was one of the 6 men at the time. I knew the mother of the young man. He later committed suicide.
The incident you are speaking of is a different incident than the one with the beating. BOTH of these things happened but they are two separate people and two different occasions. You can google the beating as it went to court and Sun Hui East lost the case.

Regarding Pastor Sun Hui East – recently read where a long-time member was found dead in a swimming pool in San Antonio on Sept. 2, 2013. Her name is Grace White, a very devoted wife and mother of three daughters. She and her family moved to San Antonio with other members of First Love Harvest church. The news articles said that she was found on the property of a house that had been vacant for many years and owned by a famous Mexican singer. The neighbors had seen her for a few days before and all believed that she was homeless. This would be totally out of character for her to leave her family for any reason! She was a very sweet, loving person. The members of the church who have known her all these years have never even mentioned her death which is even more bizarre. I don’t know if this is still under investigation, but I am pretty sure that lies will cover it up. Sun’s followers will do whatever she tells them to do.

I have known Pastor Sun for years, and when I left the church. I left in good terms, and with wonderful memories of great mission trips. Her focus was always telling people to put her eyes on Jesus. She never glorified herself, or put herself above God. I do known that she is a strong woman and faithful to her church and congregation. She and her church has helped many people finically and never turn anyone away who needed help. I do know that she has asked and told people to leave the church or encourage them to go to a different church if they are not happy at hers. I also know that people sometimes misunderstand what she says because of her use of English.
Her English has nothing to do with it. She stole from my family and caused us to be homeless for years. Not to mention trying to drown a young man back in Denver

I was a member of this church at a young age and the older and more versed in the Bible I become, the more horrified I am at the happenings I experienced. The church worships its leader and her son. Her son is elevated as near perfect and his every action is praised and empowered. Though he too is subject to his mother (the pastor)’s unyielding authority, his corruption is glorified. He seeks out younger girls that he knows will not stand up to his manipulation or his mothers. He dated a girl of 13 years old while he was 20 and verbally abused and manipulated her. Rather than disciplining him, the church ostracized the young girl once she had found her voice and broken off the relationship of two years. Sun’s church operates around fear, shame, and guilt. The church is very ‘spiritually’ driven and yet the spirit it is operating in is questionable. Anybody else who has experienced the corruption of Sun East I encourage you to post your experiences. She is a false prophet and her actions should not continue to be tolerated as she operates under the guise of the name of Jesus.

I used to be a member of First Love Church, but I moved because the Lord had a different plan for me. I have wonderful memories in that church. Jail ministry, street evangelism, feeding homeless, and mission trips. I am still close with some of the members there. I know this church started with working with homeless, and the inner city. I know who you are, you’re one of the daughters of Karen Cundiff. I remember you at the church when you were younger and I felt sorry for you, your brothers, and sisters because we saw how hard your foster mom was on you and abusive. I remember the church taking many offerings for your family to help pay for food and rent. I remember how hard she was on you and took away your childhood and treated you all like mini adults. The sad part of this whole thing is you have only spoken to people who left the church on bad terms because the pastor did not do things their way, or were told to leave because their live styles were not right and they didn’t want to change. So they were told to find a church where they can grow and get the help that they need. Instead of looking for everyone who had a negative experience, why not talk to the pastor yourself? Consider your sources even if it’s your family, you still need to make sure your facts are straight. Hearsay is very damaging to the body of Christ. It sad people rather believe lies then check the facts and confirm them. The bible says the truth will set you free. Also those who desire to live a godly life will suffer persecution. Sadly, it seems those who you help the most, always seem to twist the facts.
Number one lie: no one sold their homes and gave all thier money to pastor and became homeless, or lost thier home. I remember taking a lot of collections and help provide rent for multiple families.
Number two lie: I never saw witchcraft in the church, and all of the other lies I’m not going to bother to address because it’s not even worth talking about.
This story is ridiculous, it doesn’t matter how many times you spread these rumors and accusations majority of people will not believe these lies. She is respected by many leaders nationally and internationally and they know her fruit and I know hers as well.

Look, the common thing to do when you hurt someone is to listen, and give an apology instead of defending the actions or denying that anyone is hurt. I know you don’t have any great example of human empathy with Sun’s group, but someone needs to start. Sun has hurt people. Not by preaching gods word. This isn’t persecution. No one is saying she should stop believing in God. This is a place where people who have been hurt by Sun and her group can share their experiences. It’s for support.
Many people who left Sun Hui East’s group are afraid. Do you all even understand that? Do you understand the impact she has had? Please, think about it. Please remember the times in your own life when you were afraid. Were you alone and walking in a dark parking lot? Was it when someone was hitting you? People who leave are afraid of Sun and her group. They change their names, if they post anything they try to post anonymously. Fear is her fruit. Sun Hui East and her group bully people. That’s why they are afraid.

Like I said, I am no longer a member of the church. But I have many friends who still are. The problem is the people in the church feel also threatened, hurt, because they know that they are lies. Just like any other church many people come and go, and still are friends and close to the members of the church. When you say many, you are talking about a handful of people who left upset, or were asked to leave because they were not growing or receiving from the pastor and other leaders in the church, and told to find a church where they can grow and less about God.
To say Pastor Sun and the group has no empathy for people is a lie. They help people with food, grocery, prayer, or what ever need they can until they can get back on their feet. The goal of the church is to spread the love of Jesus Christ and follow his example. Thier was never any bullying from the church.
I know the church and Pastor Sun has felt harassed and bullied by all of this stuff as well. I’ve heard from some church members these people on this site try to contact people children from the church and harass them. Especially those who are under 18.

Speaking out about abuse that went on in the name of the Lord is certainly not harassment. There must be accountability for those who claim to operate in the spirit and then cause dissension and fear. Luke 17:1-2 says “1Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. 2It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.” The first fruit of the spirit is love. (Galatians 5:22) There is no fear in love. (1John 4:18) The Bible says that Jesus’ disciples will be marked by their love. (John 13:35) Somebody who inspires widespread fear in the church cannot be justified as operating in the Holy Spirit. I can’t speak for whoever is contacting their family as anyone I know who suffered at their hands never wants to be involved with them again. There were some awful things that went on in this church. I know young girls who were raped and then victim blamed by the church (girls younger than 13!! Who were punished because they were “being seductive”! Younger than 13!!) people who were stolen from, people who were lied to, people who mysteriously disappeared, people who’s marriages were destroyed, people whose family relationships were broken off, people who were later told fabricated stories about themselves to discredit them to the rest of the church, the list goes on. This is not hearsay. This is first hand witnessed testimony.
I also serve as a first-hand witness to this church’s manipulation and damaging lies.

There was no abuse done in the Lord’s name. She only preached what was in the bible, never with fear and intimidation. She preached the truth and sometimes people do not like the truth. There were no girls raped in the church. That is a lie straight from the father of lies, and all of the other stuff is ridiculous and garbage. Only thing I have experienced in that church was the love of God, and encouragement. I’ve seen her fruit and it is good.

I’m not deciding. I know the truth. Just like many well known pastors, some people have many and nasty things to say. Only thing this does is hurt the body of Christ. Rehashing lies, calling people in the church and trying to connect with thier children and harassing them because they are still members of that church is not good. Calling new members of the church and casting rumors, and false stories is not Christ-like either.
I just asked Christ and he said that his body is good and that we should continue our good work to promote the healing and well-being of all people, and especially those who were hurt by a church. He also said that you sound awfully defensive for someone who isn’t with Sun Hui East’s group anymore.
Like I said before. I’m no longer at that church, but I still have many friends there. I have Experienced and seen the good work that goes on there. They desire to live a life and follow Jesus and share the gospel to the whole world.

Either you are one of the current 15 members posting as a former member or you were never really part of this cult for any length of time. I never said I was God’s spokesman. I said that I prayed, and it has been confirmed to me by many other Christian leaders of who she is. She has good fruit. I’m no longer part of the church, because I have my own ministry now. Like I said before God had a different plan for me. But I am very close to that church now. I do know personally about others who have come and gone who do have many good things to say. Do I need to bring in the testimonies of others into this post how the church helped them and preached the good news to them? I don’t really think that needs to be done.
And yet preachers like John Hagee rebuked her when she went to him for support. Also, Daystar stopped airing her services when members called in to warn them about her. Nothing you say can erase the truth, no matter how much you may twist it.
That is a lie. She never want to Hagee for support and he never rebuked her. Daystar didn’t stop airing her services either. Contract was up for renewal, and they decided to go to another network. After she was off of daystar, she was on there program several times as a guest. Get you information correct. She still works with day star occasionally and other Christian networks.

So what the real deal is that noone in this church puts any time, energy, or thought on all of these lies or the people spreading them. Marianne in response to your prior post. Personally, I came to church with two small children. My children were 3m and two. They helped me and my children freely and unconditionally. Like many others. They helped me to grow and be a productive member of our country. My pastor taught me and my children to love and serve God, our country, and others. My children grew up coming to this church and have only been loved and helped. My oldest is in college now, and joined the military to serve our country. His love for this country came from good solid, biblical teaching from this church. My pastor is a woman of God. I don’t worship her but I know her heart is ONLY to help others, and show God’s love. If we were that terrible of a church, we should have shut down years ago.

Are trying to validate their experience by being a amen section for the others lies. I have been a member of First Love for years. And have never experienced or witnessed any of the things many of these people say. That is why i say boldly it is a lie. I know the truth behind how you came to the Church and why you left I was there.I know that your agenda is not to create a safe place for “victims”. Her family fell into destitution and poverty by a series of actions that negatively impacted her family. They were unable to pay the note on their mountain home. They had to move to the city and a Church member provide a home for them. That property was to much for them to handle financially. Even with the steady help of the Church. This moving continued until they found the property at E-470. Where the Church helped them with donations of food, money and feed for the livestock . Do to her foster father’s morbid obesity his health began to fail. That coupled with poor stewardship. After a year in the rears on the rent E-470 authority was forced to evict them. Their homelessness was not brought on by the hand of the Church. I will bring this to the table . When a person is born again , The Holy Spirit comes , and fills our heart. It is The Holy Spirit that brings true witness. People that are not born again try to find GOD in their emotions , feelings, and human understanding. So when a message comes that is firm and unyielding. The human capacity to reason Spiritual Truth leaves a person feeling condemned. I believe that is possible that you and others who are spreading this libelous, slanderous garbage. Are simply suffering from not knowing GOD. But that is an easy fix. Personally speaking, I did not post on this site to defame or spread libel. It has taken a long time for me to come to the understanding that what I experienced at Sun’s church was a reflection of humanity’s imperfection and not a reflection of God’s nature. I shared my testimony here because I hoped to help others who have had similar experiences come to the same conclusion. It is so disheartening when people walk away from God’s perfect love because they attribute the characteristics of a toxic church leadership to God himself. The city had been condemned the property . Because the highway Authority was building E-470 .As a result of that the Highway Authority evicted your family. When E-470 did not use the the remaining portion of the property .The property came out of condemnation. We positioned the Highway Authority for the property. We had to go through the process inspection, zoning and then put on the market. It has also come to my attention that you have been telling people that I am a man dressed in woman’s clothing. The truth is I was born with a hermaphroditic condition. The new term is intersex. I had male and female genitalia .Your foster mother knows the truth about this. In fact I stayed in the home that had been provided to your family by one of our Church leaders.With your family for a week after I had corrective surgery. have been with First Love Christian Church for over twenty years and have seen many people come and go just like any other church. This church has been a blessing to me and my family for all these years. It is amazing to me how people will find ways to defame the name of Jesus by believing and spreading lies about My church, it’s pastor and its members. These people say they are Christian and believe in Christ as their savior, but really they are people who have their own issues and will find someone to blame by attacking others who have only tried to help them. This is sad and I pray some day they can receive the same Godly love that gives me pease even when these lies are spread. I first came to this church when I was 14 years old. After we had been in the church for several years, my mother left and went to a different church, but I stayed because I felt God’s love. She later came back and we’ve been serving God together.
In all the years that I have been in the church, we have fed and helped anyone who has had a need, including all of the “hurt” people posting on this site. Our main focus has always been to lift up the name of Jesus and lead people to Him.
If it wasn’t for this church, I would probably have left God a long time ago. Many of the churches we’d been to before were disconnected and distant and it was easy for people to get lost in their own lives but through the years, Pastor and the other leaders in the church have supported me, corrected me, and prayed for me. If not for that, I probably would have left and would be suffering with depression and poverty like the rest of my family who doesn’t know God. Instead, I am happy and healthy (both physically and emotionally). I have a great job and a nice place to live. We are blessed.
I know that deep in your heart, those of you who are using this website to spread lies and stir up trouble know the truth. You, too, have been helped and loved and cared for and taken care of. There was a time when we all served God together. We did dramas and plays together. We evangelized together. We praised God together. We went on mission trips together.
Charity, my mother and I opened our house for you in your time of need, not because we were told to but because we wanted to see you overcome the trials that you were going through and to have a happy life. It makes me very sad to see the extent that you are willing to go to in order to damage the people that you used to love and defend.
Regarding the comments about marriages and family relationships being destroyed, no one in this church has any cause to fear. Personally, I would have been divorced many years ago but for the counsel I received in this church. When we first got married, we went through some really rough years. Pastor continually encouraged me and counseled me to choose to show love and to forgive and pray for my marriage. We have seen great healing and I’m glad that I followed her advice. Just because you receive good teaching doesn’t mean that you follow it. I’m glad I did. After many years of marriage, we now have a son. In addition, both my husband and I have good relationships with our family members who are outside the church. No one is prevented from having relationships with “outside” people. If they have cut off relationships, it’s been by their own choice and for their own personal reasons.
This morning’s teaching was, “Love your enemies. Bless those who curse you and falsely accuse you.” I believe that Pastor wanted to comfort the church members who have recently been targeted with personal attacks and messages. Even this morning before service, people we work with called to let us know that they are being contacted through social media by people spreading false accusations. They don’t believe the accusations, but wanted to let us know that they are praying for us as we go through this trial. I thank God for those who are not sucked in by these lies and who continue to support this ministry.
Esther, I just want to point out how exactly you and your group “helped us.” Let us clear this up.
Sun shared a “vision” or “dream” that terrified my mom into breaking the lease on our apartment and moving in with you and your mother. We were not homeless. My mother was not jobless. Sun manipulated a single mother and her two troubled daughters when we were extremely depressed and vulnerable. My mother thought I was on the brink of death and instead of bringing our family together, Sun’s group introduce a new level of discord. Sun constantly criticized and disrespected my mother, calling her weak and “mental.” Sun sowed seeds of distrust and disgust of my mother and brother in Jessica and I. Yes, Jessica and I are at fault for allowing those seeds to grow, but we didn’t plant them there ourselves, we were still kids. A person of trust, a so-called shepherd, planted those seeds and led us astray.
Esther, I saw how you treated your mother. I can tell that Sun did the same thing to you. It makes me sad to remember, but maybe now that you are a mother, you hold her in higher esteem.

This is your sister, Jessica. It grieves me that you are spreading lies and rumors about my pastor and church. You and I both know how much First Love Church helped our family during a time of major crisis. You were 15, had recently lunged into a path of ecstasy and raves, and were going on joy rides at night. I was 17, and had been suffering under the influence of marijuana and alcohol for a few years by that point. I was depressed and hurting, and on the verge of committing suicide. I was at the lowest point in my life, and knew that if God was real He was the only answer. I cried out to Him in my time of need, and He answered. Shortly after that, we came to this, and Jesus revealed His real deep love for me through the pastor and members of church. I truly accepted Jesus Christ as the Savior of my life, and He immediately started setting me free from every bondage, including depression, weed, alcohol, and anger. Also, mom wanted to remove us from the negative environment we were surrounded by, and First Love helped us. They provided a place for us to stay until we were strong enough to function in society and until mom could save up enough money to move us into a place of our own, on 2nd Ave. By this time, we were BOTH serving God in church together, joyfully attending prayer meetings and mission trips, on our own free will. We served God together for seven years before you left. When you left, it was by your choice, you had been counseled and advised by the pastor and struggled to receive that advise and counsel, so she told you to find another pastor and church that could minister to you and help you through the struggles you were going through. Before you left, you clearly told me that you didn’t want to live for Jesus anymore. It broke my heart deeply.
I know you still cared for us because you proceeded to come to some of our events for years, almost up until the time we moved to Texas so that we could be closer to Mexico, our mission field.
Now I’m telling you to stop. Stop trying to defame those who have loved, prayed for, and helped you, me, and so many others. God called my husband of almost 13 years, and I here to Texas to serve Him, together. We love it, and are both excited about what God has in store for us and our child. You’re not just spreading lies and rumors about them, you’re spreading lies and rumors about me and my family, your brother-in-law, and nephew. Stop spreading vicious lies, gossip, and slander. You’re not hurting us, the more you try, the more Jesus comforts us, and reveals His deep love for us, and the stronger we become. We’re all praying for you, we still love you. God bless you. I was a member of FLCC in Colorado about 7 years, our family was unable to move with them to San Antonio.
First Love is wonderfull Church, it has been three years since they moved away and we haven’t been able to find a Church quite like it, me and my family would love to be in Texas with them but because of my job and family we have to stay in Colorado.
Pastor Sun is good Pastor that loves everyone, feeds the homeless, helps people in need and is always ready to pray for and counsel anyone that needs confort and encourement.

I’m putting my comments on this site because I am shocked and disgusted by the lies and confusion I’m seeing written here, regarding the church I am currently attending.
I came to this church 9 years ago and have enjoyed my years here. We have a wonderful Pastor who loves Jesus, knows the Scriptures and teaches us to care deeply for others.
Before I came to this church, I heard, many times about our Pastor from local business people and the pastors of many churches in Colorado. I was always told good things about her. (things like her constant outreach to the homeless, jail ministry, counseling of those in distress, plus provision of food & clothing to those in need).
Many of the pastors who spoke of her, said that they considered her a trusted friend, telling me that they deeply respected her relationship with the Lord and her strong prayer life. These same pastors would tell me that they could call her at any time of day or night for prayer & counsel (for both themselves or for their own church members).
Because of these strong recommendations, I contacted the church, met the pastor, and started to attend services. As the months and years have passed, I can honestly say that I have never before witnessed a more unselfish and Godly group of people, working in unity to further the love of Christ. I have felt so blessed to become an active part of all they are doing.
I have gotten to know the pastor very well during these years and could write volumes about all her good work. I have seen many people (some who have attended our church, and many who have never even attended a service of ours) ask our pastor for help. Sometimes these people need food, sometimes a place to stay, sometimes rent money, sometimes a ride somewhere, sometimes help with a family situation ect… in all these years, I have never seen a person turned away empty handed. In fact, I’ve seen the pastor and church members go out of their way to provide for these people.
I hope that my story can bring light and truth to anyone who is reading posts regarding our church!
PS. Charity, I am the individual that you are accusing of impersonating a Colorado police officer (on the phone). This is the first I’ve heard of this. I have never, at any time, placed a phone call to you, nor, have I ever, in my entire life, pretended to be a police officer. I would suggest that if you don’t believe me, that you contact your local sheriff’s office and ask them which officer called you that day.
Also, a member of your group, Talyah Marie Avasakdi, has been busy harassing my Facebook friends with lies about our church. I have been inundated by my friends forwarding me the conversations they’ve had with her and warning me to block her. I am asking you nicely to stop encouraging her activities.
Firstly, there has been a lot of hurt and manipulation that has come out of First Love. Peruse other sites and you will see that the small handful posting on here is not alone, nor are these posts sequestered to one point in time nor are they referring to only one incident. Multiple people at multiple points have spoken out. I personally know many who are too afraid to speak out let alone speak out using their own names. The numbers who have spoken out are only a small faction. I am also surprised to hear that some of the members are being harassed(?) as most of the people I know who have been burned by this church want nothing to do with its members when they leave. In fact, most of the people that leave are then ostracized by the remaining church.
Further, why has this church invaded this forum in angry indignation? I am confused when I read such lofty and long descriptions of their humanitarian efforts but am met only with anger when confronted about the injured members of their lost flock. If you truly thought your church had caused people to “walk away from the Lord” (as every poster from First Love has said the commentators of this site must not be saved), would that not break your heart?
Nobody on this site is fabricating stories. What would be the point? Defaming a small church of less than fifty members near the border of Mexico? Who has the time or drive to do such a thing? You must ask yourself what would cause someone to speak out about their experiences anonymously on a conspicuous wordpress site. The posters have one thing in common; they all noticed similarities in the article above to Sun East. Every poster noticed similarities between the Jezebel Spirit and the way the church was run.
I do not see these people here angry at what they are saying. I do see that they are tired of being called things that they are not, and are tired of all the lies. You do have people who post here, and then post elsewhere changing there names. This church has not posted anything in years to defend itself, but when I recieved a message from Facebook. It caused me to look this up and others sites. So this whole noise started from Talyah Marie Vasadki reaching out to me, and my child on Facebook. That is not right. I think I’m most disheartened by the defensiveness by the people in Sun’s group. While I was there, I know I also hurt people. After I left and realized my transgressions against them, I sincerely apologized. I was lead to believe that bullying in the name of god was perfectly acceptable because it was the “truth” and “truth hurts.”
It’s human nature to desire companionship. I have a few companions on this blog who can relate to my experiences. We do warn of the harm that Sun’s group has done. I think we all feel an obligation to call someone out when they have been abusive. Part of my purpose in this comments section is to do that. It’s gotten very long, however, and I’m not sure this is the best environment anymore. It also no longer feels safe to share here. A friend of mine just called saying he received a message from Talyah to check out this website. When I did, I was shocked because my experience was so totally different.
I had just been released from jail and was invited to come to church by a young man who was driving an old white van. When I hesitated, he told me there would be dinner afterward and a place to stay for the night. That was the best decision I ever made. I was welcomed even though I had been on the streets. I was so touched by the teaching and the people and the love that I cried through the whole service–something I had not allowed myself to do for years. I stayed and entered their for the homeless. I know from my experience in jail, the streets, and homeless shelters that the love I received from everyone in the church was real.
I have read your comments and have found them to be hurtful and unbelievable! I think you should stop being so hateful. When they moved to Texas from Colorado, I was sorry and would have gone with them but couldn’t because I am still on probation. I have not been able to find such a giving church

Rebecca claims to have gone their around 2008 considering she knows the person whose property was claimed off of E-470. This would mean she attended while you were in Colorado. Our family went to First Love Church as well.
We were so sad and in shock to hear of Grace White’s death.The news story said she drowned in a neighbors swimming pool.The neighbors had seen her around for a few days and thought she was homeless.Grace was a devoted mother, loved her family, worked hard and was always happy.The way the news article described her was completely out of character.
I immediately thought of all the deliverances the Church did in bathtubs or wherever there was water, dunking children, babies, and adults under water over and over to get rid of demonic spirits.
Or, did Grace speak up or not agree with Pastor Sun?
I feel a tremendous amount of pain for her daughters and husband Jim and feel they have been brain washed.
If there’s nothing to hide then please tell me and everyone else what happened to Grace and honor her life.

I also agree. They are hiding something. Also there was a connection between the owner of the house where Grace was found in the pool and Pastor Sun — something to do with the movies they are making. The owner was out of town. Very suspicious also that it was a practice of Sun’s to dunk people with so-called Demons over and over under water until she felt they were gone. Not one of them will utter one word about Grace — not even her husband. What are they afraid of?

Yes, he did. But only after he had been “baptised” from supposedly 2 million demons. In reality, he had a brain injury from a skiing accident.

If you knew Tom when you were there, it was his son. Sun convinced Tom it was his wife’s fault that their son was dead so Tom divorced his wife and permanently joined the church. Even retired from his job as a pilot and gave Sun the retirement money. It was so tragic.
What happened to Grace’s Brother?Is he still with the Church?

Why isn’t anyone doing something to stop Pastor Sun Hui East? She has brainwashed her loyal followers and there have been several weird deaths under her control. Many lives have been devastated and people have given her their entire life savings so they could “get a word from God”. She has broken up marriages and destroyed children’s lives by controlling them with shame and guilt and false prophesy. Its time to do something.
What would you suggest? I do not think confronting her would change anything. She would just have the people who are talking to her physically removed from her presence. I am a witness to that happening several times. When someone would say something she didn’t like, she would have her ‘men’ carry that person out of the church.
And again, no mention from even one member about Grace when anyone brings it up. The pool where she was found was at a residence owned by a famous Mexican singer who is worth over $25 million and who had contact with pastor sun – no doubt about financing her movies. She would probably give one of his children a part in the movie to gain his favor. There are many sincere and trusting people in her church who give all they have to the ministry. Their entire lives center around pastor sun and her ministry. Many have been “rescued” from their problems by her in the past so no doubt feel they owe a debt to her. Unfortunately, they have been made to feel that they cannot live without her now. She absolutely controls their lives and they will do or say anything to protect her. Or remain silent as in this tragedy. Concerned mentioned other weird deaths and am wondering who they were.
Diamond’s baby died suddenly after being very healthy the first few weeks of his life. Sun told all the members of the church that Diamond killed the child but there was never an investigation and nobody ever believed this to be true. This was shortly after the death of Grace in the pool. Many people were told not to speak of this for fear that Grace’s father would find out. She kept it hidden from him and made up a story about Grace having an addiction to swimming. Was anyone at the church when that man sawed his arm off at the alter because Sun told him he was masturbating too much? I was already gone from the church at this point but many of the members including Josiah (her son) spoke about how horrible it was to see the blood stain on the alter. Many creepy things happening at this church at the hands of Sun. I suggest anyone involved here keep digging until they find the truth.
I was So sad to hear about the death of Diamonds Baby.I remember reading posts on facebook that Tabitha had posted regarding the death of her baby and thought that Diamond and Tabitha were being questioned about the death.
I think Tabitha was told to delete her posts from Facebook because it wasn’t making either one of them look good.Did Diamonds baby go through deliverance and die from that?
Grace was terrified of water and Pastor Sun still acted like Grace was alive after she had died.
Anyone in their right mind would have called the police when all of these terrible, crazy incidents happened.
Unfortunately, the Church members are all brain washed and believe whatever Pastor Sun tells them.
I also heard that someone had impersonated Grace to keep the church believing she was still alive. How crazy is that?? I know a close friend of Diamond’s and I am aware of the trauma Sun put her through. It’s absolutely tragic.

This is the first I’ve heard about someone’s arm being chopped off. That makes my stomach turn. My heart aches for those who are still entrapped there.
The guy trying to cut his arm off did happen – he was back in church all bandaged up. I don’t remember how they tried to explain this happening but of course it wasn’t Pastor Sun’s fault as usual. She is always portrayed as the saint trying to help people but she is in fact using them – many who are desperate and who truly seek the Lord. She instills guilt and fear in them instead and makes them feel they owe her their lives. She uses others for money and whatever else they can give and they believe they do it for God, but it is all for her purposes. I don’t think the people who have been with her for many years will ever awaken to the truth, but they have made their choice and so are guilty as well. I have heard Pastor Sun make derogatory remarks about each one of them as well, but it seems to make no difference. They just accept it.
It’s so scary how someone who’s arm was hacked off would return! I’m all too well aware of the blinding and controlling effects of Sun’s methods though. 😦
There was an investigation into the death of Diamond’s baby. She was not charged and was allowed to leave the state. My guess is that the coroner decided her sweet boy died of SIDS. Both Jessica (my sister who named herself in the above comments) and Tabitha (who also named herself above) told Diamond that it was her fault that her baby died. That her sin caused it to happen. I think most of the church felt that way towards Diamond. That’s not a loving sentiment and does not convey the love of god in any way.

You are right about the comments. She uses this as a method to tear them down. Read the previous posts that were put on this thread about the Jezebel spirit and how it controls people. It will creep you out that almost every single description fits Sun 100%.
Diamond has been told many times that she is full of demons and that God is punishing her with the death of her baby ect. How she survived growing up in this church is beyond me. Sun controls the members of her church with fear acting as if SHE is God and if you don’t bow to her every command you are doomed to hell. This woman has used her “special relationship” with God to control people and manipulate them out of their money. What ever happened to Sun’s husbands? Isn’t she on her third marriage?
I have re-read Marianne’s original post describing the Jezebel spirit and totally agree that it describes Sun. I think most of us who attended her church were at first duped into thinking that she was a woman of God who had helped so many people – as she so described herself in her autobiography. I was especially taken in by the people in the church who welcomed me with open arms and seemed very loving. The ones closest to Sun spoke highly of her and seemed to hang on to every word she spoke. As time went on though, I was shocked to hear the comments she would make to them in church – sometimes even about their physical appearance. She even made fun of other speakers or performers who were invited to the church as if she was jealous of them which I found to be very odd. Anyway, I mainly stayed on because of the people who seemed genuinely nice. I now question some of the motives of her inner council though as they are obviously under her control. In Diamond’s case, I find it despicable that Sun would speak such evil over a child. I was always confused about Sun’s marriages as well – the last one was from Mexico but never saw him. My hope and prayer is that the “innocent” followers in her church will come to their senses and get out while they can!
I only know of 2 of her husbands. Steve was her husband in Colorado and they got divorced before she moved to Texas. Once she got here, I guess she got married again. My family was sucked in much like ‘Charity’s’ family was. Sun had this ‘dream’ or ‘vision’ for my parents that my father would die if we did not sell everything we had and give it to the church. My mom didn’t believe it at first. Then my dad had a heart attack. Sun claimed it was a ‘warning.’ My parents were so afraid, they complied to her wishes. It was total craziness from then on. But, like many, we were welcomed into the church and my parents became leaders in it. It wasn’t until much worse happened that they finally realized we were in a bad place.

All of this is horrible. Thank you who ever brought me in to this I really don’t like the fact of my son being brought in to this. But since Everything is out I will say this I was the one raped when I was 13 me and my fiancé are in the process of pressing charges against this man who hurt me. So yes I know they will say something about me writing him a letter and how I wanted him to do what he did. I sat in their office for hours everyday because they had a problem of my mother had a problem with me I remember being beaten for burning a damn pop tarts. My hair was shaved when I was 13 right after me and my dad had went through a really hard lose of loosing my grandpa. Not only that I was accused of sexually harassing Sun granddaughter who at the time was 2 and claimed I did it which charity knows this little girl use to lie and say that mark hurt here when he didn’t even see her. Not only that I don’t speak to my mother because they convinced her that I hurt my sister. Yes Sun has done some good things but when it came to me those things where very little. They told a child friend that I claimed my child was his because he and his family was helping. The whole time I was there I was looked down at because I was pregnant and not married. Not only that they tried to tell my first sons dad that I had a disease at my sons funeral. The whole time he came down they treated him like shit even after he paid for their expensive lunch and even my sons father know these people where crazy. Not only that they kicked me to the side a few weeks after my baby boy died then they tried to get me to stay when I said I was leaving. I did lie to them and told them I had an abortion to see what they would say they said yeah god told us you did this is when I knew I needed to leave because how could god tell you something not true. The only person I respect there is tabby because see is my god mom and if it wasn’t for God in her I probably would have never made it threw everything I went through. I know now I will here something from her but I hope you know Tabby I truly do love and I hope what I said doesn’t break your heart but it needed to be said. There is so much more I went threw as a young child but that’s all I’m sharing on here. Let them be God will judge them.

Diamond, you are strong to speak out about your childhood abuse. Im sorry you endured so much pain with this group of people. Hopefully your story will help many other people who might be drawn into this cult through the Strong Foundations Film Group and Pastor Sun Hui East and her cult. I fear for the young girl who has recently become engaged to Josiah Warren (Sun East’s son) She has recently turned 19 and very sheltered. I worry so much for her. On a side note, how they can blame a 13 year old girl for her own rape is just pure evil.
I’m very sorry for that I wish there was something her family can do. But one thing I can say is this the are very convincing people at first they will see very sweet and loving but once your in there’s really no getting out or should I say it’s hard to get out. They will suck her in let’s just hope her parents taught her right and wrong so she can see all the wrong things they do and maybe get her self out

You all need to live your own lives and stop messing with others who are content where they are. They all know what is right and wrong.
Not everyone there knows what really goes on. Those who do are blinded by the leader and think they are following God’s will.
