Three Men in A Wheat Field

I am sharing a dream by Michael Boldea, which I feel is relevant, and should be reflected upon.

Will we respond as we should?

We need to prepare spiritually and physically.

The Dream:

http://www.handofhelp.com/vision_58.php

Posted March 2010

Shortly after returning to the United States I began having a recurring dream.  I have prayed many nights as to whether or not I should share this dream, and I finally received confirmation that I should.  There are some dreams or visions that I receive wherein I know instantly that it was either meant for me personally, or that it was intended to be shared.  This was not such a dream.  After seeking the Lord on the matter however, I know I was supposed to make this dream public.

I dreamt I stood in front of a large wheat field.  By the golden hew the wheat stalks had taken on, in my dream, I knew that it was close to harvest time, either late summer or early autumn.  It was beautiful and peaceful watching the wheat sway gently in the breeze under a picture perfect blue sky.

As I grew familiar with the scene before me, I began looking around and saw three men, evenly spaced at the edge of the field.  One man stood on the left corner of the rectangular field, the second man stood in the middle, and the third man stood on the far right edge.

All three men were dressed in white, and since I was seeing them from behind I could not make out their faces.  Each of the three men held something in their right hand.  The man on the left held a burning torch, the man in the middle held something that looked like a wineskin, and the man in the far right corner held an old fashioned sickle, and a basket lay on the ground next to him.  I recognized the sickle, because I used to play with one in my adolescence while living in Romania.

As I stood and watched this strange scene before me, the man on the far left tipped his torch slightly, and touched one of the wheat stalks with the lit torch.  Suddenly about one third of the entire wheat field burst into flame.  The fire went out as quickly as it began a sudden burst of flame, followed by the scorched remnants of a once beautiful wheat field.

As I continued watching, the second man uncorked the wineskin, raised it about shoulder level, and tipped it slightly.  One solitary drop of water poured out of the wineskin, but as it made contact with the wheat another third of the field was leveled as though a great wave had just swept through it.

I did not understand what I was seeing but I continued to watch the scene unfold.  I was expecting the third man to do something as dramatic as the first two, but instead he simply bent from the waist, grabbed a handful of wheat stalk with his left hand, and with a practiced swing of the sickle cut through it.  He then laid the wheat he had cut in the basket.  Although there was a solemnity in the actions of all three men, the gentleness and care with which the third man laid the wheat in the basket stood out for some reason.  The man continued the process of cutting wheat and putting it in the basket until it was full, then with practiced ease, tied the wheat into a small bushel with a piece of twine he removed from his waist.  He laid the bushel aside, and returned to swinging the sickle and filling the basket.  This went on for some time as the man methodically and quickly made bushel after bushel of wheat.

For the first two nights, this is where my dream ended, and as I knew this could not be the end of it, I began to pray that I might either see the conclusion of the dream, or receive the interpretation.

On the third night, the dream began as the previous two nights, with the first man setting fire to one third of the field, the second man flooding one third, and the third man meticulously harvesting the last third, I thought it would be the same dream yet again, until the man with the sickle turned, looked at me and said, ‘the world will know hunger, the faithful will know the power of their God.’ I recognized him; I had seen him in both my dreams and my visions before.

I woke up, and went about my day thinking that I would have the dream again that night, but the dream did not return.  I received no further insight or interpretation, but this is what I believe in regards to its meaning:

I believe that a worldwide food shortage is imminent.  Whether due to too much sun and not enough rain, or too much rain and unprecedented weather patterns, global agriculture will suffer a severe blow very shortly.  I also believe that God has already prepared provision for His children, that He will provide for them, and miraculously so.  I do not believe God reveals coming events to His children that they might grow fearful or panic, but rather that they might learn to trust Him, knowing that He who is already into tomorrow, has already made provision for it.

Matthew 6:25-26, Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on.  Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?  Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not of more value than they?

Matthew 6:31-33, Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the gentiles seek.  For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.  But seek firs the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

With love in Christ,
Michael Boldea Jr.

  1. Thank you Marianne and Michael! I will pass this on to other believers. G-d be with us!

  2. Dear brother Michael, keep your head up were coming and on the rise this is true. Iam with you always and will see you soon, but for now there is much work for thy kingdom. Keep up the good work and stand strong walk in faith, the time is here for sure lets enjoy as we over come hand in hand holding the harps singing a new song as we stand on top! much love to you, and your in our prayers,
Much love to you and peace, in the blood of CHRIST,
Love always your br. SARDIS Thy ANGELIKAN CHURCH 5th star

  3. Poverty is the principal cause of hunger. The causes of poverty include poor people’s lack of resources*, an extremely unequal income distribution in the world and within specific countries, conflict, and hunger itself. As of 2008 (2005 statistics), the World Bank has estimated that there were an estimated 1,345 million poor people in developing countries who live on $1.25 a day or less.

anyway Matthew 6:25-26 is pretty right.
    * resources are belong to all people, not to one-two goverments and their friend so called corporations. They “own” the material world.. qestion is: WHEN WILL PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO OPERATE WITHOUT MONEY?

  4. Thank you Marianne & Michael. If we don’t believe in the Lord to provide as the scriptures above say, what do we have? Remember manna in the wilderness fell from the heavens like snow? Zomie, I think the trust we need to cultivate is in the Lord, not how people can live on a little money…it is a challenge of faith before us. There will be a famine, already is. The earth is worn out by human consumption, violent weather, etc. We were to tend & care for the earth. Oh! what good we have NOT done. It is drained of it’s precious oil, hollowed of it’s precious minerals, stripped of it’s native vegetations, wildlife, waters polluted, etc. We’ll be fortunate in the end times if there’s 1/3rd of anything left to harvest & put in baskets! The message is clear, Michael’s dream is clear. How WILL we prepare?? For now, I can grow more veggies in my small garden to SHARE! Our weather’s changed drastically, very little sun since end of April & big storms. I live on the ocean, coastal so. calif, for 30yrs. Prayers to all

I think we should learn how to barter…..just trade what we have for something we need….it used to work before money was invented.

actually, it makes more sense than money

I just planted 2 fig trees in my yard…..

looking for more things to plant.

  5. Marianne, I love it, bartering is a great idea! It was what WAS before money. We do see it some ways today as in “trade for services”. But of course there’s always the dark element of greed & taking advantage of the innocent. Here, the Spanish pirates who traded euro alcohol w/native Calif. indians for their animal hides off the cliffs of what was named Dana Pt. Harbor, (Henry Dana) just 5mins. so. of me. These peaceful, self sustaining indians had everything in their valley for an abundant life. The pirates got them so drunk over time, killed them & took their land. We must be aware of the dangers of those who want what we have! But it seems bartering among peaceful peoples would be ideal…Happy fig trees to you! (the symbolic tree)! They grow here too, home grown figs are yumm! I should add them & other fruit trees, good idea. Home grown is the best…I’ve grown lettuces, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, corn, squashes, pumpkins, etc. Somethin’ for every taste! mmm…& barter perfect! God is so creative! 🙂

  6. Marianne & Lyndsey, A few months ago a friend introduced me to growing herbs. You can grow them in pots! It’s so easy. I love the fresh basil, parsely and lavender for aroma therapy. As with the vegetables I have started with just a few at a time.

  7. Yes, fresh rosemarie is great! I have a 15yr. old bush that my mother planted, even tho it’s a bush it’s a delicious herb! The topic of famine really has me thinking! The bees love the tiny blue flowers on the rosemary bush, they feast all day for years! They love my other flowers too, they need food just as we do! I love honey, wonder where my visiting bees make it?! The hummingbirds love the red “crown of thorn” plant plus the roses, morninglories, etc..when there’s no rain for awhile they play in the hose spray..It’s always a joy… the doves too. These are events that occur naturally, I didn’t do anything to to attract them. But maybe we should be thinking about that too? Guess there will be a shortage of dog & cat food, hay for horses, etc. etc…how will we cope with that??

    • Regarding horses, they will be ok as long as they have good pasture all year long and access to water either from a pond, lake or daily watering by well. I will probably have to transfer my horse to a better pasture if this happens. Where he is at, the grass is gone in the winter months and we have to supplement with rolls of hay (about 2 a month) and extra horse feed in the am and pm feedings.

Regarding cats and dogs, I guess we would have to share our personal food with them or stock up now with their own.

  8. This is exactly what the LORD told me on June 8th, 2010. He told me: “29 months, war, you better prepare, spices will stop.” I had a vision of my entire spice rack empty and an American flag flying upside down. 29 months from June 2010 is November 2012.

Here is my interpretation: in late 2012, the people of God in America should expect great civil unrest, war & food shortages. There is nothing to fear. Just stock up on food, especially spices, which will become scarce. God bless y’all.

    • hi happyguy =)

good suggestion. Sometimes we stock up on obvious things, and forget the little things. Canned goods is ok, but we need more. When food might be very plain, it helps to have a little spice around. In some stores, you can buy bulk sized products.

    • Just heard this today from Lindsey Williams on Alex Jones…Janet Pelosi told a reliable source a few months back to go home and stock up on food and water for 6 months….Inside traders were 400 to 1 in September and 1600 to 1 in October…Elite are moving out of America AND Israel…

  10. Coldest winter in 1000 years predicted for Russia

    http://rt.com/news/prime-time/coldest-winter-emergency-measures/

  11. That’s so unfortunate for the common & poor people, as well as all the animals, local food sources, etc. After enduring months of record heatwaves, inferno wildfires, drought, death, etc. now this!!! And, the siting of 5 tornadoes, all at once, off the coast of a southern harbor…sadly bizzare! It’s reported not to be caused by global warming (!! because there is none!!) but the cause is said to be of “solar” conditions..Does anyone have any info on what those conditions are? Will any other countries, incl. the USA, be affected at the same time or in the forseeable future in some way? It seems alittle unlikely that “solar” conditions are that isolated, but possible, maybe!? Could the rest of us have possible severe weather coming that we have not been made aware of, yet? Anyway, we should pray!

  12. I’m sorry to say this, however it needs to be addressed. Everyone knows a “food shortage” is eminent at our current rate of consumption. Your interpretation of this dream is open for debate. Water represents truth as water is pure and essential to life, so is truth. Wheat represents the civilized world, a community of people working for the common good or one goal, Bundled, or bailed wheat tied together represents the children of truth and or more organized civilization in a common goal or agenda. The reaper, or the third man in your dream, represents servants, in this case servants of God. Rain represent blessings, remember that water is pure, wine is made of water and therefor is also divine and can not be corrupted in interpretation. The image of wind blowing through the dry wheat fields can represent several things, air in its self represents spiritual power, as wind blowing represents war or conflict where one must prevail victorious, the symbolic meaning here is that you have a personal struggle, or battle or conflict that must be addressed. This may also mean that you are called to fill the role of the warrior that will defend the community, the wheat field. The only way you can be victorious in this struggle is to know and understand the power, knowledge and truth surrounding you and to work together as a community. If the wheat field dies then the community will also die. If the wheat field is the community that God Shepard then the wheat field will never die unless by his hand. Three men represents free will in many cultures including Christianity. One might conclude that you have the choice to face what you fear and accept the challenges that stand in your path or you can simply look the other way and hope someone else will complete this journey. If you ask me I would say that this dream is telling you to be more tolerant in society, don’t impose your will on others, don’t judge, keep an open mind to the things you know nothing about and be ready to defend even the worst element of your society or the entire community, or the wheat field will become corrupt and God will have no choose but to complete the harvest. Its not the actions of others that determine our fate, it is the actions of your own free will. Love even the most hated people you know, embrace everyone and be ready to offer your truth and knowledge to feed them as others feed you. Do not condemn Gays, stop calling woman that have abortions killers and stop turning your back on people outside your little congregation for the wheat field is larger then you will ever know or understand. This is the war we all face, tolerance, and we all have the choice to make where we go from here. Don’t fear the truth of this message.

    • dear no name

I can see your interpretation can fit the dream.

I would agree that being kind to all that need help, rather than judging or condemning, is more what God would want.

I would also be careful not to approve or tolerate sin itself.

We need to separate the sin from the sinner…and reject the sin, while trying to help the sinner.

We are allowed to execute righteous judgment, but not unfair judgment.

Righteous judgment is crucial for our physical and spiritual welfare and survival.

For example, if someone is a proven thief, I will not “tolerate” him and let him in my house. This is for my own protection, and it is wisdom to exclude him.

in the same way, Jesus went after the sinner, to heal them of the bondage they were in.

He was open about the sin, but forgiving to them who wanted to change.

Others who did not want to change, like the Pharisees, he did not tolerate, and he openly condemned them.

He did not compromise with them.

The goal is to help all who want to come close to God, and are willing to change.

it is an act of mercy to encourage those who are in bondage to change, since they are only hurting themselves, whether they believe it or not.

Then it is up to them to hear the voice of God, and respond.

Since we all have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God, it is our hope that they will see the truth of their ways and change.

So we offer encouragement, information, a helping hand, and bible truth to those seeking eternal life.

  13. Gee whiz, exactly one-third. Imagine that.

“…Suddenly about one third of the entire wheat field burst into flame.
The fire went out as quickly as it began a sudden burst of flame…”
    ========================================================
    These are very sobering words:

    “the world will know hunger,
the faithful will know the power of their God.”

Thank you Marianne for posting the weblink to his many other dreams. These dreams have a unique character pattern to them.

    Very anointed.

  14. i had a dream similiar and i am dreamhost_wiki ttoetc.love stephanie curry.john:3:16;goodbye.

  15. Truly these events are happening…after the supreme court ruling on gay marriages…you can see the stage us set for the antichrist–we can surely say look up for our redeemption draws nigh!

  16. Hello, I had a vision that looked very simular to your dream: –
I closed my eyes and then l was at the edge of a field of very high wheat. The wheat field was on my left side with the wide path of flattened wheat in front of me. Then l noticed in the distance ( could not see there faces) three people with the middle person dressed in white, walking along side the tall wheat. It was strange because l did not know what was going on. Then all of a sudden l said out loud with my eyes opening with happiness, “Jesus”. I have not experience a vision like this before, l love Jesus so much and l hold onto him with all my heart, mind and soul. I do not know what this means but l pray to be ‘Good Soil’ ?

    • michelle

I think the Lord showed you the wheat field because he needs you to help with the harvest.

prayerfully consider what you can do to serve the Lord in this final harvest

  17. Hi my name is Jeremy McCormick. I’ve had a one vision gifted to me in my life. It was similar to yours. I was wide awake being drove to work. I was passing a neighborhood park but as I looked to my right there was no park only tall beautiful very golden wheat that was ready for harvest. It was beyond words the beauty. It was like pure gold swaying in the breeze. I remember a very calm and at peace feeling flow through me. The vision lasted about 15 seconds. I did not see any one standing in the field just the 24 k wheat and the goosebumps and the rush of calm and peace. That moment changed me. I now have faith in our father and know that heaven is waiting

  18. Heaven is a beautiful place. I have been and came back as I was told it is not my time. As you describe it is a wheat field but has green rolling hills to the right and a white house with picket fence to the left. In that house is everyone you ever knew, including pets. You can see them, hear them barking and you will recognise them. The lord is the usher through the light tunnel to this warm sunny wheat field, and his father God, is the sun shining upon you. I was told it was not not my time and made to return, for what I say is the truth the whole truth and nothing but.

    • Dear Stuart you are very blessed if you have been to heaven and back. I appreciate your experience. I am looking forward to going. I’m not too sure about my exact time either. But lately when I was in a lot of pain the Lord showed me. I was close to the end of a dark tunnel with a light in front of me. So I was almost at the light but not quite there yet. So I assume I will either die soon or I will be healed. Either way it is a time to rejoice. I am at peace with the end of the tunnel. God bless you.
