Kill Him!!

clip_image002

In the parable of the wicked vinedressers, the workers would not honor anyone sent by the owner.

Matt 21: 38

But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

Once the kingdom is entrusted to those who should take care of it, abuse of power and greed come in to contaminate or destroy the harvest.

This happened not only in ancient times, with the leadership harming the prophets and the Messiah himself, but it also continues today, in different forms.

Those entrusted with the kingdom “beat, killed, and stoned” all who were sent to them.

Parable of the wicked tenants – Matthew 21:

33There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and moved to another place.

34 When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit.

35 “The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.

36 Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way.

37 Last of all, he sent his son to them. ‘They will respect my son,’ he said.

38 “But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and take his inheritance.’

39 So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.

40 “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?”

41 “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,” they replied, “and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time.”

The kingdom of God has suffered violence for thousands of years, both in its pre-messianic and messianic times.

Sometimes, I wonder why God entrusts ANYTHING to man, as he ruins what God has done, and takes things for himself, instead of taking care of the creation as he was instructed.

We know the prophets were persecuted.

Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him– Act 7:52

Persecuted prophets:

Isaiah: said to be of Jerusalem, suffered martyrdom by being sawn in two by Manasseh (in agreement with theMartyrdom of Isaiah), buried near a place usually identified by scholars as the Pool of Siloam. How the apostles for Christ died:

Jeremiah: said to be of Anathoth (Jeremiah 1:1), suffered martyrdom by stoning at Tahpanhes in Ancient Egypt where he was also buried. It is said that who prayed with faith over the seer’s grave is healed from asps bites. His remains were later moved to Alexandria. Before the First Temple was destroyed, Jeremiah hid miraculously in the rock the Ark of the Covenant.

Ezekiel: said to be of Arira[8] and to be of a priesthood family. He suffered martyrdom in the land of theChaldeans and was buried in the grave of Shem and Arpachshad. A description of the grave is given. Same stories of Ezekiel in the Babylonian captivity are then narrated.

Micah: said to be of the Tribe of Ephraim. He suffered martyrdom by Jehoram[9] and buried in his land near the cemetery of the Anakim.

Amos: said to be born in Tekoa (Amos 1:1), tortured by Amaziah (the priest of Beth-el of Amos 7:10) and martyred by the son of this one. He laid in his birth-land.

Zechariah ben Jehoiada (2 Chronicles 24:20-22): said to be of Jerusalem, he was killed by Jehoash near the altar of the Temple. He was buried near his father Jehoiada. After his death, the priests of the Temple could no more, as before, see the apparitions of the angels of the Lord, nor could make divinations with theEphod, nor give responses from the Debir.

Modern times

1. Martyrdom in countries hostile to the gospel of Christ – although the liberal press does not emphasize this, there is persecution around the world in Communist and Muslim countries of believers for their faith.

2. There is also destruction of the kingdom by those supposedly IN the kingdom. This is where my focus is for this post.

The Vinedressers are loose in the church

While it is not true in all churches, thank you Lord, it is very prevalent in many churches.

Select members take pre-eminence, lording it over the sheep for pay.

The poor and the widow are used for tithes, and there is no return on their offerings.

Many pastors teach prosperity depends on tithes and offerings, and make merchandise of the cross.

They are unholy “pick pockets.”

There are pastors who have become gods in their church, and go as far as exploiting members for sex.

People who think they have gifts from God, to make them important to others, and gives them artificial authority to become superior to others.

Jezebels in churches and other power oriented spirits.

Selling books and tapes and weekly collections make the church a business, and the members customers of those who receive the benefits.

Holiness is not present.

Materialism IS present.

The harvest is money, not souls, and it is only for the privileged and elect.

Laziness predominates over zeal. Thinking about God takes a maximum of 1 hour a week.

“Gifts” come cheap. You take a class to learn how to prophesy, which is based on psychology and intuition, instead of the holy spirit.

Individual prayer and bible study is missing or sparse. Members depend on the pastor to tell them what to think.

Self centeredness, and self enhancement is the key to success.

Humble people are attacked as spiritually inferior and inadequate.

If the real Jesus walked in , He would be criticized for everything he said, and gossiped about.

“Know it alls” know more than Jesus.

Focus is on self expression and a modified gospel, and twisted scriptures are used not to inspire but to give credence to false beliefs.

The lost stay lost here, and sadly think they are saved because they gave their tithes and said a prayer.

Lives are not radically changed for the good and for holiness sake.

There really is no faith here that has been tested.

Innocent seekers are hurt by others.

Real prophets are tossed out as fakes.

True believers do not belong in an environment like this.

They may pray for the church, but God will do what He wills.

Much of the modern church has killed the spirit of Messiah, and stolen His inheritance (the souls of the lost).

It has crucified Jesus all over again, with corrupt ways

It is time for the modern church to repent or be judged for its sinfulness..

Hope

On the positive side, Jesus / Yeshua is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

We can still find his presence in the Word of God, in the pure hearts of others, and in our own hearts, if we have repented of our ways.

Seek Him while He may be found.

Do not cast Him out, or beat Him down with your life.

Feel His love and accept his salvation.

clip_image001

For those of you who actually persecute Christians, or any innocent human being, you are persecuting Jesus Himself when you do this.

God will accept NO ONE who does this into heaven, so repent and stop what you are doing.

Only Satan wants Christians dead.

So what side are you on?

  1. Amen

  2. Very true, the Christian church lost its bearings from the moment it decided not to do anything that the Roman Empire might have considered “Jewish” (albeit it was not so but rather Yah’s ways). Of course before that the followers of Yeshua never called themselves or considered themselves “Christians”. That was the monicker given by Greeks and Romans to the Jewish, proselyte, and Gentile followers of the Jewish Mesiah known as Y’hoshua or Yeshua.

    • Hi Shofar,

Regarding “The Way” being called “Christians”.

This name “Christian” was given and happened when those that had been Yeshua’s disciples, (followers of the Way and not the Apostles themselves), had left Jerusalem due to the stoning of Stephen, and had travelled as far as Phenice, Cyprus, and Antioch to convert the Jews.
Some of these men though Jews, were from Cyprus and Cyrene, and when they came to Antioch, they spoke to the Grecians, (or Hellenist’s) regarding Yeshua. It was after Barnabas had found Paul in Tarsus and then took him to Antioch, that the Hellenists being Greek speaking Jews, would have referred to them as being Christian’s. (See Acts 11:19-26.)

Be Blessed “IN” Yeshua our Everything.

  3. I know, it is so in this world, but it still baffles me how anyone can NOT believe in God, and those who do, not all are awed by Him, bow to Him, and want nothing more than to serve Him.

Marianne – this may not be the place to ask, as we have had small discussions about keeping discussions on topic. But I would like to ask: Would you consider having part of your web site here a study in the Bible? Yes, I know, in many ways your blogs are a study of the Bible.

I have personally read the Bible, but admittedly haphazardly, reading here, reading there, trusting I was “directed” where and what I should read. I do not have a church I attend, and when I did many years ago, I never took any Bible classes or Bible studies. I don’t know that any “formal” Bible study, such as on the various parables, or the Psalms, or “topics” though they may include passages from various parts of the Bible, would be any more helpful or different than what we already have here. But I felt the question inside so I thought I would speak it.

    • denise

People here are free to discuss whatever topic they want. I provide a platform from which to start.

I am not sure, with all the topics here, what you are looking for that is missing, but if you would be more clear, I would try to help.

you are also free to contact me by email, and we can also discuss things that are on your mind.

  4. This is inspired.
There are signs of the true church here.
Yeshua’s church is not a building, a religion, a race, or demonination, those things are material and belong to the enemy, the true church is a temporal (Temple) church.

Material things are made of atoms, atoms are emptyness, they barely exist on this plain, Chuck Missler “The Origin of evil’ and “The electric universe”.
avail on you tube-brilliant stuff answers a lot of questions.

Worship is actually worKship, Noahs ark was a workship.
Ever notice that any time a mortal man meets a heavenly being he falls to his knees and worships, and is promptly told to stand up like the man I created, or similar, the only time bowing and scraping is aked for is when satan tempts Yeshua.
“I will give all this to (the world) you, if you bow down and worship me”.
The usual RC suspects removed the K about 500 years ago.
