Redeeming the Time – 2

Redeem the time, or “do the time” in eternity.

Ephesians 5

15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Colossians 4

5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

My impression is that to redeem the time, is to make up for lost time spent badly, to compensate so that any damage is repaired, and all wrongs are made right again.

To make the current time as if no damage or error had occurred to begin with.

That all is repaired and whole, and blessed.

How do we do that?

Ephesians 5 explains.

Fix relationship with others

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Here, it might take more than what is mentioned.

If you have lied about someone, then tell the truth.

If you have stolen, give it back with interest.

If you have broken something, fix it.

If you have hated someone, then learn to love them as God loves them.

If you have neglected someone or something, then give this all your attention and strength

Oppose evil – you cannot be politically correct. Something is either right or wrong.

3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

How much time is left for the “redemption of time” to take place?

First of all, the MAIN redemption occurred with Jesus / Yahshua 2000 years ago.

We are just to embrace this, and live and walk in it.

If we have left the path, we need to get back on it.

To make amends, we have little time left.

If you have things that you have done wrong, then you must work quickly to fix what is wrong, and make it right again.

For example, if you have failed as a parent, child or spouse, this failure must be corrected, and healing has to take place.

If you were slack as an employee, you must do a very good job now.

If you cheated someone, you must pay them back

Judgment is coming.

If you do not judge yourself, and make corrections, GOD will judge you, and the results may not be pleasant.

Temporary embarrassment is one thing, but eternal punishment is another.

Redeem the time, or do the time.
