America is going blind !

It is a time of spiritual blindness. Will America see again in time to prevent her own destruction?

America – belief in God- is professing faith enough? OR , do we need to live what we say we believe?

Reasons for spiritual blindness.

1. Disobedience – The Bible reveals that when God’s people do not obey Him, He allows a spirit of blindness to come over them, “because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments… the Lord has not given you a heart to perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear” (Deuteronomy 28:47-48; 29:4).

Ezekiel warned that disobedience leads to spiritual blindness, and to false teachings that seduce people to believe lies (Ezekiel 12:2; 13:2–19). This theme runs throughout the Old Testament.

Disobedience needs the proper name. It is called “sin.”

2. Rebellion – Moses foretold that Israel’s tendency to rebel against God (and the subsequent spiritual blindness this would bring) would lead to serious consequences “in the latter days” (Deuteronomy 31:24–29).

The Hebrew prophets repeated this same theme, emphasizing that rebelling against God and rejecting His ways leads to spiritual blindness.

Isaiah wrote: “I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against Me… Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes, lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart” (Isaiah 1:2–3; 6:9–10).

3. Foolishness – lack of understanding – Jeremiah wrote: “O foolish people, without understanding, who have eyes and see not, and who have ears and hear not… Behold, the word of the Lord is a reproach to them; they have no delight in it” (Jeremiah 5:21; 6:10).

4,.. Rejecting the Word of God – Jeremiah also warned that because people reject God’s word, and “each one walks according to the imagination of his own heart, so that no one listens to me… The prophets prophesy falsely… and my people love to have it so” (Jeremiah 5:31; 16:11–13).

5. Satan – also plays a part in promoting this blindness among those who do not believe Scripture (2 Corinthians 4:3–4).

6. Rejection of Jesus as Messiah – Jesus explained that Isaiah’s prophecy (Isaiah 6:9–10) also foretold the spiritual blindness that affected the Jews of His day who neither recognized Him as the Messiah nor understood His message (Matthew 13:10–15).

The Apostle Paul revealed that these same prophesies foretold the spiritual blindness of modern Israelite nations (Romans 10:1–3; 11:7–8; 2 Corinthians 3:14–15).

Signs of spiritual blindness

People believe obvious lies – they cannot “see” the truth in front of them

Poor reasoning ability – logic eludes them, although they will think they are quite intelligent in their own eyes.

Easily led by others – gullible – do not question anything they are told, unless it actually is the truth. They will protest or support an event, just based on what they hear. They do not investigate to see what the truth is.

They will quickly abandon moral values for a practical, materialistic reward. examples: People will vote for political candidates, who support abortion and homosexuality, in order to gain public welfare money. They will support governments that support the persecution of Israel in order to get gas for their cars (and it is NOT even a good deal – they pay too much !).

They substitute falsehood for the truth of the Word of God – fantasy religions, cults, bizarre ideologies like New Age, paganism, demonism, or atheism.

extreme liberalism – any negative, sinful behavior is ok – including support illegal behavior by “understanding” the “plight of the under trodden.” (example funding for illegal immigrants, instead of making them leave.) Slander is Ok and very acceptable as a means to get ahead, especially in politics and the workplace. Lying is fine. False causes and claims of victim hood, when things are not that way, to gain political or financial profit.

Political correctness – to avoid confrontation with real issues and threats- efforts to show how “fair” they are to people who are actually do not deserve such courtesy.

Selfish thinking.

Tolerance of godlessness.

Intolerance toward Christianity– the Word of God becomes “hate speech.” because it identifies sin, and its consequences.

Europe – belief in God- does the life match the profession of faith?

Where Spiritual blindness is taking America and the world

1. The first place it will take America is – where Europe is, now. This is almost a reality.

Do not get me wrong. Europe is a wonderful place, full of wonderful people, and beautiful places. But most of them are lost spiritually, and have turned their backs on God.

Now look at their societies. Churches are museums, and Muslims are taking over the countries because “politically correctness” demands it. Most of them are anti-Semitic, and are willing to trade God and human lives for Arab oil. This is not good.

2. The second and last place it will take America, is total godlessness and destruction.

We will go from civilized society to uncivilized, as barbaric acts like partial birth abortion become so accepted that human life lacks any meaning anymore.

Cloning humans or animal-human hybrids for body parts will be ok too. This is already happening.!!

The bibles speaks of putting ones own parents to death.

Mar 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against [their] parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

The total corruption of man’s spirit:

2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof….

2Ti 3:6 …. led away with divers lusts,

2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2Ti 3:8 ….these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

The end of it all – destruction by God

They will not repent

Rev 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

The worship of the Beast– anti-Christ

Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Marked by beast for “salvation”

Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

But marked by God for destruction

Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

So, do you want to be blind?

Think about it. You will end up this way, and so will your country, if you are blind, and will not change.

Remember, God is not politically correct. He does not care about your “opinion,” just His opinion.

He is holy, and righteous, and powerful to accomplish His will.

He is NOT tolerant of spiritual blindness and sin. He punishes it.

If you are sinful and blind, will you repent?

If your country is sinful and blind, will you do something about it?
