Passover is a Door

From Your Egypt to Your Promised Land.

Door out of Egypt

And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. Ex 12:7

And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. Ex 12:22

For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. Ex 12:23

Door into the Desert Tabernacle

And he made an hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, of needlework; Ex 36:37

Jesus is the Door now to the Father

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. John 10:1

Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. John 10:7

I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John  10:9

Door Must be opened to receive

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Rev 3:20

For the Faithful, the Door is already open

I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Rev 3:8

Door in heaven to bring us home

After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter. Rev 4:1

Egypt is what binds or entraps us.

It holds us back from being our highest, best selves.

It can be many things, both internal and external to us

A few examples:

Internal

Pride, ego, sin, depression, despair, low self esteem, procrastination, temper, lack of faith or weak faith

external

a job, poverty, enemies, family, sickness, terrorism, war, death of loved ones, relationships

On Passover night, the Haggaddah is recited.

The Seder is arranged in a way that symbolizes not only the national trek from slavery to freedom, but also one’s journey of self discovery and growth.

During Passover time, it is time to be aware of what binds us, and seek freedom from it, and decide on our response to our circumstances.

While we may not be able to change our circumstances, we are able to change ourselves.

Bible Pattern

The Door has always been a symbol of change.

It is a transition from the physical to the spiritual.

Passing through it means God has passed over you, but in a good way.

clip_image003

From a real physical Egypt, the Israelites passed through the Door that was passed over, into a desert,

clip_image004

In the desert, they passed through a split Red Sea prepared for them.

clip_image006

And to commemorate, a tabernacle was commanded with a door at the entrance.

There was also an inner door to the Holy of Holies.

clip_image008

This (tabernacle door) symbolized the Door that Jesus / Yeshua said He was.

The only way to the Father was through Him.

So both the outer door and the inner door since Egypt and the desert tabernacle was Jesus / Yeshua.

And the blood on the doors represented His blood.

Now there is one more door ahead of us.

clip_image009

The door that opens in heaven.

For some, who are faithful, the door is already open. They just have not entered through it yet.

For others, they have to open the door, and accept Jesus / Yeshua as Savior, and accept the blood shed for their sins, on the door of their hearts.     Red heart

Opening the door means acceptance of salvation.

Since ancient times, the life is in the blood.

Without the blood, there is no physical life, and there is no eternal life either.

True Door

In the desert tabernacle, the outer door was blue, purple and scarlet and fine twined linen, of needlework.

These are the colors of the TRUE DOOR.

Blue= faithfulness, loyalty, heavenly, obedience to YHVH God’s commands

Purple = Royalty

Scarlet = Blood

These are also the garment colors of the High Priest

Exodus 39:1-2

And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy [place], and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.

And he made the ephod [of] gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

The robe of the ephod was also blue

Exd 28:31

And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all [of] blue.

There was also blue in the pomegranates, ephod ( 3 stones) and fringes and borders of the prayer shawl.

The meaning of the blue is also given:

Num 15:38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribbon of blue:

Num 15:39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:

clip_image011

False Door

But if you look in Revelation, the Woman on the Beast has NO blue in her.

Explained in greater detail:

https://heavenawaits.wordpress.com/woman-on-the-beast-has-no-blue/

So, the absence of blue indicates the unfaithful whore.

And the red she bears does not indicate blood of sacrifice to YHVH God, but the murder of the saints.

And her purple represents ungodly kingship.

clip_image013

Which Door do you choose?

There are 2 doors,

Messiah / Savior = blue, purple, scarlet

Whore = purple, scarlet

Choose now, which door you take.

The difference is obedience to God’s commands, acknowledgement of Divine Kingship, and acceptance of a loving Savior.

The first step, as in Passover, is the blood.

Because without the blood, there is no tabernacle, and there is no eternal life, and no way through the spiritual doors.

And without the blood, you will never leave the Egypt in your life.
