Power of God, or Power of Suggestion?

Which one are you dealing with?

–

You are visiting a church with a guest preacher.

He talks about how successful his healing ministry is.

How he is blessed, and wants to see you blessed, and healed as well.

He then says he feels the power of God on him, and there are healings in the room.

He tells everyone to put their hand on where it hurts and receive the healing.

He then asks everyone who has been healed to raise their hand.

Some people raise their hand, and gain the attention of the preacher.

Points

Yahweh God can heal but usually it is the recipient, not just necessarily the speaker, who feels the power of God when they are healed.

Some feel obligated to cooperate with speakers to show their “faith.”

Most who are really sick are home in bed, not at church.

–

Healing is a beautiful miracle of God, and the sick should feel this beauty when healed.

Healing should not be a bland, mediocre experience.

If the Holy Spirit touches you, you should know it.

–

The power of Yahweh God is a tangible experience.

Not a “ho hum (yawn)” boring moment.

The glory is overpowering.

Your spirit and body will change.

–

Do not let those using the power of suggestion to make a display of you, and exploit you for donations.

If you are sick, go to Yahweh God in prayer and ask for help.

Wait upon the Lord for his response.

Be patient, and thank Him while you wait.

You can ask others to agree with you in prayer.

When you are finally really healed, it will be a time of rejoicing!

Don’t let anyone steal your joy, or steal the credit due God.

Be blessed and be wise.
