I got this Word several years ago, about 2013-2014, and I had no idea what it meant.

I wrote this message down and posted it where I could see it daily, to ponder on it.
So I have been staring at this note for years, with no clue to the meaning.

Go back to what, where?
Where WHAT started?
What is “it?”
When did it happen?
Something good started?
Something bad?
Something personal, or something related to the church, the nation, or the world?
Where is where?
–
I have thought about this for several years, but no solution yet.
It is either a command,
or an answer to a question, and I do not know what the question is.
–
This is a request for other people’s thoughts.
Has the Lord said this to anyone else, and received also a clarification as well?
I wish to obey the Lord in this instruction, but I do not understand it.

It is about the task before the one with the spirit of Elijah to turn the hearts of the children back to their fathers.
The restoration of all things.
What was given has been lost from the start(s)
Torah, Feast days of Yahuweh, were given for all.
The instructions of our father. They have tossed aside what our Father gave us.
Yahushua was sent to teach us, and what he taught again has been lost and needs to be restored.
The Holy Spirit was sent on Shavuot just as the Torah was given but the church has lost its way and teaches the doctrines created by man.
Now they want a one world religion that encompasses all, and even more of Yahuweh’s instructions and Yahushua’s teachings will be tossed aside.
This is not the way to follow it only leads to destruction.
The answer is to return to the start, the foundation, the bedrock. The words of Yahuweh and true teachings of His Son Yahushua. This is the start from whose path the world has lost. Rebuild the Church with good bricks and only let those bricks that have two or more witnesses in the their words be placed upon the foundation.

I believe it’s a command but more like an answer, an answer to what is often an unasked question. God has been recently calling me back into the secret place, calling me to draw near to Him. He’s also been telling me about the hardness of heart of many christians and about our need to “return/turn to Him”. First passage that came to mind as I read this post is this:
“Thus says the Lord: ‘Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.’ But they said, ‘We will not walk in it'” (Jer. 6:16).
God is always calling His people back to the right path, and most of us decline. Does this make sense to you, and do you know what that path is?

Here is where it all started when a man dared to question the accepted beliefs in idols and started kicking idols over that lined the streets and realised they were weak and incapable of stopping him kicking them and dissing them so they must be unable to help anyone so he dared to ponder whether there was a more real powerful god who could actually save and so God reached out to him as he reached out to God – and the rest is history.

Go back to the Hebrew roots of His word. To where it all began before man put his holidays ahead of The Creators Holy Days that were a covenant between us Forever. Go back to the base of the mountain with Moses and understand that the whole world of nations was there not just the Jews.

Genesis 1 states “In the beginning, GOD…” In a world where so many exclude, ban and dismiss the Creator, GOD wants to be priority in every facet of our lives. Without Him, there is no you nor me. Without His influences on life, satan is left to run roughshod over the human species. But I believe there’s coming a major wakeup call that will cause many to fact, turn to GOD. Not sure what the wakeup call will entail but I believe it’s coming. Whatever it is, we must be ready to share the GOOD NEWS with those who are lost and need answers.

I totally agree: “In the beginning, God.” The Book of Hebrews begins, “God”, and John begins “In the beginning was the Word.” I believe that God is the beginning, not just spending time tooth Him but coming to know Him as He in fact is– “the Ancient of Days” so to speak, just as John distinguished the “Father” we know as little children from the ‘whole’ of God who is for those who are mature– therefore a call to the beginning is a call to move past little children status to maturity: “I have written to you fathers, because you have known Him Who Is From The Beginning.” It’s time to return to God, not God as we know Him (where we have bits and pieces) but as He is in wholeness, not just Father and God but also all those other Names in the Bible. It’s a call to maturity, a call up the mountain with Moses to as God said to Him, “Come up the mountain and BE there.” God has been calling me the same way the past three weeks, and I’m starting to see more clearly that indeed “many are called” but that while many love the miracles and lights and blessings from God, few actually draw near to that dark cloud and fire that is God in all His fullness. May I not draw back but go up that mountain “and BE there”.
No doubt…go back to your first Love.,this is for me Lord is so much wanting me in the secret place,wants to show and give much more of him.hewants to give me more that I can bring heaven down to earth.less sleep but I always complaint about m age etc etc..

The thing that comes to mind is when I started on this walk with Yah and the strong heart felt feeling of His presence. In my case He is very much still strongly there. The ither thing that comes to mind is a prayer in lamentations, “Turns us back to you oh Yah and we shall be restored, renew us as in the days of old”. This is a lamentation for Israel His people to do teshuva and return to Him. Maybe Yah wants you to intercede for His people in this way.

“Restore us!” was the cry of many Jewish priests and prophets as it is to be of all God’s ministers today. The word ‘return to the beginning’ has to do with returning to “the past” or retracing our steps back to God as He in fact is, repentance and putting away all other gods, and consecration or sanctification to God alone– the secret place as Annie said; the dwelling place of God or Shadow of the Almighty as David calls it in Ps. 91; the Rest of God as the author of Hebrews summarized it. It’s a high calling or maybe I should say a serious one– all and everything. I felt the gravity when God began calling to me several weeks ago. I’m still endeavoring to enter that Rest.
“Thus says the Lord: ‘Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls'” (Jer. 6:16).

We argued in these pages.( eg: Queen of heaven) But we know nothing.
we do not know our end or when Jesus is coming again. Then we don’t know why we born from our parents in our countries at this era as a Catholic or Jew or Christian or Islamic or Buddhist or Hinduism or a Atheist and then having free time and facility to read and write to marianne’s pages. Thanks GOD for all this facilities given to us. How many are suffering in Seria. Pray for them.

To fully understand the works of God, and the divine plan that is eternal, it is requisite to get back to the beginning.
In the beginning.
That is where it all started.
Eden.
Etc.
The location as well as the narrative is key to understanding and implementing the divine plan.
I’d suppose this is the direction you need to look.

Hum interesting, when Yah called me it was Genesis He wanted me to start at. Since then He has taken me around His word several times taking me a little deeper each time. Last couple of stops at Genesis He pointed to what was the nature of the seed bearing fruit satan offered Eve and its implications with Cain, Nephilim and the tares the enemy planted in the garden. The tares will be plucked at Yeshua’s soon return then we who remain will be gathered at the threshing floor, Mat 13. There where two threshing floors David bought. The Temple mount one for 600 gold shekels and the one in the Mount of Olives for 50 silver shekels where the Miphkad altar was right by Gethsemane and Yosef’s tomb. Of course this is where Yeshua was hung in the tree facing the altar, which is the only place witnesses could have seen the curtain rip.
Anyhow threshing floors speak of reckoning and getting rid of shaft.

Go to the start of the Bible. Genesis. Probably. God is probably trying to teach you a lesson about creation week. Just a guess mind.

1947+62 Pentecosts = 2009 and Obama’s Peace Medallion on the 7th Day of Feast of Tabrnacles +1260 days = Obama’s trip to Israel between March 20-23rd, 2013 =1290 days = 2016. 1948=62 Pentecosts = 2010 when 5 planets lined up in a row on th 7th Day of Feast of Tabernacles +1260 days = First Red Blood Moon Tetrads +1290 = Sept 23rd, 2017 Day of Trumpet Rapture. 1947+70 years =2017 and Psalms 117 and deliverance from Babylon which means liberty, freedom, Jubilee in a year of Jubilee. 1948+70 years = Psalms 118 and Day of Trumpet (Psalms 118:5) to Day of Atonement (Psalms 118:10) to Feast of Tabernacles (Psalms 118:15) = Millennium. The Day of Atonement in 2017/5778 is the beginning of the Day of the Lord with the Trumpet and Bowl Judgments of Revelation and some call this the wrath of God. The last 10 days (Days of Awe) is also known as the wrath of God and some believe the Bowl Judgements will be poured out on the Earth. Some teach for the one year wrath that the Trumpet Judgements will be poured out the first 5 months with one judgement per month on a New Moon or Full Moon and Nibiru brings in the Judgments. The last 7 months are the bowl judgments and WWIII (Nuclear War brings these judgments which are tied to the effects of Nuclear War). Yes, we are to return to the Torah because God follows His Torah such as Deut 24:5, and the Torah will be in the Millennium (Psalms 119=2019). This also ties to Creation week in Genesis 1:1; 1:3; 1:14. The Trumpet Judgements affect one of the days and also one of the plagues of the Exodus. Lindy, that was what came to mind when I was reading this article too and I also quoted it. Scroll up and read my first comment. It may have several different meanings like prophetic dreams and visions often do, but I believe the summary of the interpretation of this word is contained there in Jer. 6:16.
Skimming the above answers I’m surprised nobody seems to have mentioned Revelation 2:4 which is about losing the love for God’s way you had when you first encountered it. The answer to that problem is in the next verse, verse 5.
I’m not saying this applies to you Marriane, any more than it would apply to anyone else. But it is what immediately springs to my mind about the beginning.
Of course, the other thing that springs to mind is John 1:1. In the beginning was the word (talking about Jesus). ALWAYS, when you go back to where it all started, you go back to Jesus!
(Actually, looking over the other answers some more, I just found that Annie did mentioned it – she just didn’t reference the actual Scripture.)
I feel the love is the same maybe even better but I am so much busier now than I used to be I had more free time to pray now I have more burdens and responsibilities and less time to spend and quiet before the Lord I do not know how to get rid of these burdens because they’re responsibilities and assured them would be a bad idea friend since I have two dogs I take care of now actually 3 I have children that still come to me and need me for things I have friends that contact me and need me for things and I have the website that I did not have to begin with all these responsibilities are now on me where in the beginning I did not have any of these responsibilities except for the my own kids so how to juggle all these responsibilities and find quiet time with the Lord is very hard I even write less post now than I used to because of all the other activities I am very busy for the Lord but that’s not being busy with him I’m going to have to try to juggle all this and make more time for him as well
I’m in a place where spending time with God is very hard. Very. But in this place He came calling just like He called to Samuel as a young boy that night as he lay sleeping by the Ark of the Covenant. So apparently if He’s calling us back to the beginning and we’re all busy with life or surviving or fighting against the enemy or whatever it is, it’s probably wise to ask Him HOW to draw near while so many other things are near and distracting us. Remember that when our kids were babies and little, they’d wake us in the middle of the night several times and would require our attention at just the most dastardly and inopportune times; but we’d still give them our attention or whatever they needed. Surely, we can do the same with God. What do you think? I’ll have to ask Him tonight about how to draw near with so many distractions.
true. also I am 20 -30 years older and cannot do the things physically I used to do….40 day fasts, long prayer times (less distractions), traveling to prayer meetings all over the country, etc. I am older and more tired now. little things exhaust me. I answer maybe 100 emails a day, have long prayer list of people, sometimes talk on phone w people for hours needing prayer, have a large yard with many details I am trying to keep looking NOT like a jungle, house repairs, 3 dogs that want attention ( one is old and sick and needs lots of help)…..a fig tree that is ripe right now and has hundreds of figs to process and put away….sigh, I am so tired now….I cannot go back and act like I am 20 or 30 years younger….my body does not work that way any longer…. I also have medical and physical limitations I did not have when I was younger
Reading this, the passage that comes to me is this:
“In RETURNING and REST is your salvation; in QUIETNESS and TRUST is your STRENGTH” (Isa. 30:15).
The first part is about ‘returning to the beginning’ (ie. to God); the second part is about the “benefits” (“forget not all His benefits”) of that returning. Reading about your age and lack of energy and about “strength” in that passage, I can’t help but be reminded of this passage:
“Even youths grow tired and weary and young men eventually fall. BUT those who wait on the Lord will RENEW their STRENGTH; they still mount up with wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint” (Isa. 40:30-31).
To run speaks of ministry (running with the Lord who said, “My Father HAS BEEN WORKING until now; AND I TOO AM working”); to walk speaks of ‘the walk’ or everyday godly lifestyle. The “eagles” part of that further leads me to this passage:
“Bless the Lord , O my soul, and forget not all His benefits… who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s” (Ps. 103:2, 5).
That passage further leads me to this one:
“Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, ‘Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.’ And Jesus answered and said to her, ‘Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her'” (Lk. 10:38-42). What a mystery.
In our world, we’re accustomed to the ‘pressing needs’ that vie for and demand our attention to the point that we think we must tend to them. We’re used to having to give up get, having to exert to receive. Jesus says this simply isn’t true (within the realm of His Kingdom) and that the primary need we should first attend to is ministry before Him (ie. drawing near; the secret place). When Jesus told Nicodemus that he must be born again and that those who are born of the Spirit ‘follow a completely different Law’ (not encumbered and controlled by the world pressing on us but rather “those who are led/controlled by the Spirit are the [mature] sons of God”), Nicodemus responded to Jesus, “HOW can these things be?” When Jesus tells you, Marianne (and tells the rest of us who are convinced that the things that demand our attention are indeed of great importance) that you don’t need to attend to all those things that require your attention, it’s the perfect time to ask Him, “How can these things be?” Don’t we need to work, take care of our kids, love our spouses, minister to those in need? As I said before, the right question is, “HOW do I draw near to God and leave all these things unattended?” Then He’ll begin to give that revelation.
With God, our age and station in life don’t matter as much as obedience. When He enters the equation, we can be 120 years old, literally (like Moses) and suddenly regain youthful energy and strength. Eagles literally renew their youth when they fly close to the sun; youthful energy has a limit, but God doesn’t. We aren’t accustomed to trusting in God and therefore don’t see how He can tend to our burning house while we pray in the last closet to be consumed by the fire; but He can. It’s very distressing to our nature of having to take care of things ourselves and requires trust and faith. To “run and not grow weary” sounds like flowery poetry; but besides its spiritual meaning, it’s also physically possible with God. Elijah ran faster and farther than any human naturally can, outrunning horses on that occasion; another time, he ate two meals and traveled on the strength of that alone for forty days. And that was back in the OT. How much more should the ministry (experience) of the New Covenant be greater and with greater glory?
Like the doubts of old Nicodemus being born again and old Sarah having a child, our lives have been lived in the natural for so long that God’s call to a supernatural lifestyle makes no sense and causes doubt and fear: “How can these things be? How can God expect me to do ‘all this’ when I have ‘all that’ to do?” I don’t know; I know when He called me I immediately knew it was too much for me. Our place is to ask Him, “HOW can these things be? HOW do I do this?” Then, like with Nicodemus, the Samaritan woman at the well, and the disciples, He will begin to explain and unfold what is impossible to us as in fact possible as He said to His disciples when, after He said that it’s difficult for the rich to enter the Kingdom, they asked Him, “Who them can be saved?” (“How can these things be?”): “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” (Mt. 19:26). In a relationship each person enters the world of the other. We’ve lived long in our own natural zone with God ‘coming down here’ to relate to us and our busyness and lack and want and imperfections; He’s now calling us up to Him to live in HIS supernatural zone where the things that exist here (including busyness, imperfections, limitations, and time) don’t exist. We’re in the last days and if things will change drastically for the good, then things have to change drastically before that happens. After God met Moses ‘down here’ where everyone else was and wanted to BE/stay/remain… “then the LORD said to Moses, ‘Come up to Me on the mountain AND BE THERE'” (Gen. 24:12). That’s the same calling I sense myself, and I believe He’s calling believers everywhere in that way at this time, whether or not they hear Him or are aware of it.

Many rivers start with a spring. If you want the water with the least impurities and the greatest clarity, go back to the spring where it starts. The ancients like Enoch – we are so lucky to have Enoch’s writings in English. “You will do well to pay attention to them as to a light shining in a dark place.” I long to look into them further and also discern what came even before these like the teachings of Kanan. There are extant texts we have from the times when such wisdom was still being passed from father or grandfather to son or grandson such as The Instruction of Sharappak. Remember the Holy Spirit has been speaking to humans from the beginning and still says the same kinds of things today so it is all relevant even to us today what was taught back then by those so inspired and theirs were times of the first water from the spring. The centuries of misinterpretations and denominations have muddied the later waters but luckily the denominations did not have these ancient texts to muddy so they are translated without so much of this bias and are not overridden in our minds and circles of discussion by such things.

It always starts with an idea (in the beginning…). And as we learn more, those ideas can (and usually do) change.
I feel the statement “Go back to where it all started” is a call for review and not necessarily a call for change. Many times people search for answers that they already stumbled upon earlier but forgot as other ideas came along.
From what I’ve seen on this site it all started from a question of love and a love to find more questions and answers.

I have thought about it again and I think you should ignore everybody’s opinion(including mine) and instead ask God to make it clear in prayer.
I am fine with opinions. Everyone is trying to be helpful. And their suggestions are good. God will make it clear eventually, either directly or through someone.
At that time you received this message, what were you thinking about? In otherwords, what were you asking Yahweh at a subconscious level, what were you contemplating on a regular basis? Also after you got this message, what visual instruction did he give you? This can happen almost in a millisecond but you remember the details in your mind. If you can’t get an answer you may have isolate yourself and ask him again; not us bc our knowledge is very limited and subjective to our experience. This message was between you and Him; an intimate dialogue to develop a close relationship with him.

I do not remember asking anything, although I am always thinking of many things. I had no visual instruction. I have asked for years what this meant, no answer. the only reason I ask here is in case he said the same thing to someone else, who may understand. Maybe I just missed it all together, which would be my fault.
Maybe go back and review some of your articles in this blog you had written during that time period.
I never studied under a man or church, I seeked Yahweh by studying on my own. The Holy Spirit would open my eyes and mind to many things only the Holy Spirit could reveal and point out to me. I saw the many gaps of information, quotes in the bible and references to other books that the bible didn’t have. So I asked myself where are these other books? Why aren’t they included in this bible? Little did I know that Yahweh heard my questioning and desire to find these books; he compiled me to find them. So I had to start all over again reading those books that I did find. There was a stalk difference in those books and what was in today’s bible. How did the animals come to Noah? Why does Abraham has his nephew Lot? What is a Nephillium? Why did Jacob sneak his family away from Laban? What was that first “Light called the ‘Day’ ” Yahweh speaks forth when it was the forth day he created the sun, moon and stars? Why did Pharaoh put Joseph in prison when he knew he was innocent of messing with his wife?
These and many other questions I asked?
One thing I learned about Yahweh, he wants us to consult him first. Only through his Sprit you receive understanding, wisdom and knowledge.
Also in my quest to know the truth, Yahweh guided me to purchase a older bible written in the early 1960s (which is not long ago). It was the Jerusalem Bible. I had an old Catholic bible my grandfather owned also from the 1960s. Lo and behold they had the same books in them! The book of Baruch, book of Tobit, book of Judith, Macabbees 1& 2, book of Wisdom and Ecclesiastes had 51 chapters but today’s bible only has 12 chapters! These books are removed from today’s bible! Why are sooo many removed?
This revelation is that the famine in the land of not having food but the word of Yahweh is not in the future but happening to us right
Now! It has been systematically taken away from us so that we don’t know Yahweh and his teachings.
Yes, your vision is for all of us to go back and start all over again by adding these books BACK into the word of God were they belong. The brainwashing and reprogramming of our minds will take time but just read and reread these books again and again until we have the mind of Yahweh.

Those of us who seek to really belong to God through the Messiah, Jesus, should look at ourselves with cold objectivity and ask whether we are truly actually seeking and holding to and practicing the teachings of Jesus and those He sends and of the Holy Spirit. We might follow religious traditions and doctrines and words of scripture and even words we think are from Jesus. If we seek the reality of what Jesus taught we might find what we were following was not the intended meaning of Jesus of Nazareth but something else superimposed, perhaps by misunderstanding or deniminational bias. Digging down to His original meanings is wise if our intentions are to put His teachings into practice because practising a misinterpretation could be folly and not the will of God. We can find the original meanings of Jesus’ teachings more easily these days because resources are available such as online Bible tools. We should ask God’s help so we can be assured of what we end up holding to that it is the truth from God and true counsel from God through Jesus and not a distortion or misunderstanding. God seals this kind of following by giving the Holy Spirit and miracles.

I agree. if we go back to all things negative, we find satan and self. if we go back to all things positive, we find God. the choice is clear. Using the Word to do this is invaluable.
Where did scriptures start? The earliest we have I believe is the Book of Enoch but it is preserved through the ages and retranslated over and over. Earliest extant ‘scriptures’ of the same kind of religious nature come from the descendants of Enoch. The Instructions of Sharappak is the best example we have preserved as extant text and it starts: “In those days, in those far remote days, in those nights, in those faraway nights, in those years, in those far remote years, at that time the wise one who knew how to speak in elaborate words lived in the Land; Sharappak [biblical name Lamech], the wise one, who knew how to speak with elaborate words lived in the Land. Sharappak [Lamech] gave instructions to his son; Sharappak [Lamech], the son of Ubara-Tutu [biblical name Methuselah] gave instructions to his son Zi-ud-sura [biblical Noah]: My son, let me give you instructions: you should pay attention! Zi-ud-sura [Noah], let me speak a word to you: you should pay attention! Do not neglect my instructions! Do not transgress the words I speak! Thank you for this information SGreen. I always wondered what Enoch taught the men and his decendants after he ascended to heaven and what he was taught by the angels. The detail Enoch tells of the sun,moon and stars intrigue me also. So much he speaks about them which leads me to believe that it is of great significance.
Enoch pictured a ring of a specific number of portals to describe movements of sun and moon. How curiously similar it is to what we see around the Middle East and Europe with stone circles, henges. (Apparently the oldest might have been atop the mountain where the fallen angels descended – Hermon.) I wonder whether these henges were built to facilitate Enoch’s sun and moon monitoring which he described in such a way as lent itself to making such devices. “… And this is the first law of the luminaries: the luminary the Sun has its rising in the eastern portals of the heaven, and its setting in the western portals of the heaven. And I saw six portals in which the sun rises, and six portals in which the sun sets and the moon rises and sets in these portals, and the leaders of the stars and those whom they lead: six in the east and six in the west, and all following each other in accurately corresponding order: also many windows to the right and left of these portals. He must have seen all of this from a heavenly perspective when he was taken up and taught by the angels. I understand that it is for us to know Yahweh’s true beginning of the seasons, the months and the holy festivals which was also celebrated in heaven before the creation of the earths. Most of all the coming of his Elect One, Yeshuwa.
Man has changed calendars, days of the year ( 365 from God’s original 364 days), God’s holy days to pagan holidays but they cannot change the directional movements of the sun,moon and stars; the heavenly signs. Too bad that the reading of the heavenly signs is a lost art of his chosen people. Im sure he has a few who do know.
I think he wrote it so humans could make henges to track the seasons and monitor the weather. They followed his ways history tells us and held his calendar knowledge in high esteem. Maybe his way of looking at the signs in the heavens (a holy way unlike astrology which Enoch and Noah condemned along with sorcery and alchemy) is how the Magi discerned the Messiah’s star. He wrote about Nature, especially the heavens, being full of parables. True theology and science thus can go hand in hand when viewed with true discernment and inspired insight. You just need the Holy Spirit.
There would be no need for henges, just animals and insect instinctively know seasonal and weather changes so would God’s people have this same ability and more. If you read book of Yasher, Joseph (which his brother thinks he’s a pharaoh) asked
Benjamin if his father taught him the art of reading the stars. Benjamin replies “Yes”. So Joseph tells him to go into a inner room to find out where his brother is. When Benjamin does, he discovers that this pharaoh IS Joseph. So that proves no henges were needed by those chosen by God. What did they use to read the stars? I don’t know and won’t speculate but they are those on island today who can read the stars without any device to know what direction their ship or boat is going.
fact is the people of God like Noah, before Abraham was born, followed prophecies and teachings like those of Enoch – which, as Yasher (Jasher) says, is why Abraham asked Shem to teach young Isaac. Their wellbeing depended to some extent on keeping track of the seasons. The teachings taught them how. The need, and apparently the teachings too, spread wherever mankind spread. That is what I reckon accounts for Stonehenge and many other henges like the one atop Hermon. It was to help use the teachings to track the sun/stars and moon for solar and lunar calendars. Later on Hebrews used the lunar calendar for feast timing, as God through Moses taught them – but that was later. Abraham apparently only kept one feast – an annual feast of the new year.
Issac was chosen by Yahweh so it makes since that Shem, also obedient to God’s teaching would have to teach Issac God’s truth; it’s about lineage leading to Yeshua. I won’t guess at what the henges are/were for but whatever it was, no one has an answer to why they are there.
This topic of going back and start all over is good for me to say the least. I read through the bible several times thinking I knew what I was talking about but once I read those others such as Yasher,Enoch, Jubilees and the Holy Spirit told me to go back and make notes on things that are never mentioned in our bible today, I was shocked at the amount of omissions of information.
This humbled me and forced me to look at the possiblity that all of God’s teaching just may have dismantled to the point that I have to ask Yahweh for the truth because I don’t know what his truths are.
I must go back to Yahweh who is the beginning. I can state my beliefs and risky guesses and speculations but it will never make it God’s truth.

Enoch in his time recorded and taught that the year is accurately 364 days long (with some suggestion people were mistakenly making it 360 days long) but prophesied a catastrophic change (I wonder if it was caused by the Flood) to the cosmic factors such as length of year and brightness of sun. I notice too that his descriptions of relative day length and night length patterns through the year did not match well with the location of the Middle East. It suggests the year we have now of 365,25 days and location of geographic pole has changed since about 2700 BC.

I started avidly reading The Book of Enoch in 1995. Your own writings on it (Son of Man) are what drew me here. I read it sometimes daily. Always with great joy. At first it had so much new in each verse that I was overwhelmed but now I have learned to understand most of the most novel and curious features I can concentrate on its lessons and every time I read it I learn something more. I just read it on the train home from work (writing this as I nearly get there) and found a passage that explains the star falling from heaven in Revelation (a similar vision is there in the dream Enoch dreamt in the second half of the book and the explanation of it is clear so this helps unlock the similar passage in Revelation). To him who is faithful in litlle, more will be given.

Enoch (Sumerian En-men-dur-ana, meaning ‘Ruler bridging heaven and earth’) does seem to be where it all started, earliest half of third millennium BC. Take his prophetic prayer that pleads for a new righteous race to be created by God. Enoch 83:6-8 (before The Flood when he foresaw it in a vision) “Now then, O God, Lord and mighty King, I entreat thee, and beseech thee to grant my prayer, that a posterity may be left to me on earth, and that the whole human race may not perish; that the earth may not be left destitute, and destruction take place for ever. O my Lord, let the race perish from off the earth which has offended thee, but a righteous and upright race establish for a posterity for ever. Hide not thy face, O Lord, from the prayer of thy servant.”

The book of Enoch is a second century BC fake. It is not a part of the biblical canon.
Jude, biological brother of Jesus of Nazareth, asserted otherwise. Jude verse 14 “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints…” This quote by Jude, a brother of the Messiah, from The Book of Enoch, asserts three things: firstly, that the Book of Enoch is historically authentic as writings of Enoch seventh king of Sumer in sucession from Adam and seventh generation descendant; secondly, that The Book of Enoch is inspired prophetically by the Holy Spirit; and thirdly that the extensive writings in the Book of Enoch about The Son of Man with God in Heaven matches up to what Jude knew with faith about his biological brother who persistently identified Himself as The Son of Man from Heaven who was with God long before Abraham was born. “Before Abraham was, I am” is a saying of Jesus. Another is “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he”. Now, “This is the Son of Man who is born unto righteousness; And righteousness abides over him, And the righteousness of the Head of Days forsakes him not.” is what Enoch wrote of the Son of Man. Jude clearly recognised that this is (was, will be) his dear brother, the Son of Man made flesh.

On USA’s eclipse day: Book of Enoch 78:1-3 “And the names of the sun are the following: the first Orjârês, and the second Tômâs. And the moon has four names: the first name is Asônjâ, the second Eblâ, the third Benâsê, and the fourth Erâe. These are the two great luminaries: their circumference is like the circumference of the heaven, and the size of the circumference of both is alike.” Even back then they understood the moon and sun subtend the same angle and elsewhere Enoch noted the moon is actually smaller.
Just because Jude took a small passage of the book of Enoch and quoted it in his letter does not make the whole book inspired.
OK, I would say so too. The thing that made me believe it was the spiritual gift, holy manifestation of Holy Spirit, given me. Before then I was ignorant about such things as real prophecy and interpretation of tongues. This gift made me aware of such things so when I came across the Book of Enoch in a bookshop I discerned it beyond doubt.

That means 1) assertion that Enoch wrote the Book of Enoch 2) Enoch who wrote the Book of Enoch is the same Enoch mentioned in historical documents as “seventh from Adam”. So the historicity is asserted. 3) “Enoch … prophesied … ” asserts the writings of the Book of Enoch are actual prophecy (i.e. inspired by the Holy Spirit) and 4) the prophet Enoch known in history (Sumerians and Akkadians knew him as seventh king of Sumer and the prophet who did not die but went to be with angels and brought back teachings for humanity) is genuinely a prophet of God. The Book of Enoch itself called Enoch “seventh from Adam” so not only did Jude quote from it but used it as a true resource (if he was not sure then he would have been dishonest to state what it said as fact and true) under inspiration of the Holy Spirit. That is a lot from a few phrases.
Of course Enoch prophesised. He was a prophet after all. But there are plenty of prophets talked about in the Bible who prophesised but never wrote a book either.
A writer of the Bible can quote an extra biblical work and that quote becomes inspired but that doesn’t follow that the whole book that is quoted is inspired.
I think it would be inconsistent for a true prophet to have valid and invalid sections in his own book or writings
But there are several books mentioned in the bible by name if you read Chronicles about 7+ are mentioned by name for example, Book of Iddo, Acts of Soloman,Book of Nathan the Seer Annuals of David, in addiotion to the Book of Jasher and the Book of Enoch. But you would have to be looking for them…look…seek…find.

Jesus spoke in parables many times. I guess it is to keep us busy contemplating on it, so we will not be bothered as much with about what man says instead. eventually, it will be revealed.

In the beginning the earth was void and without form and DARKNESS laid on the surface of the DEEP… Clearly when Elohim checked on this area of the universe He saw the earth had become a chaotic mess with satan smack in the middle of it. When did it get to be so? Well we are not told but we see where satan as a beautiful archangel of light became proud and wanted control then was kicked from Yah’s presence apparently landing here. Was there a previous earth here that he messed up? I don’t know, I only know that he made a chaotic mess of the planet, kind of what he is trying to achieve right now… Maybe the Genesis account is even a prophetic preview of how things are now. Regardless, the Spirit or Ruach Elohim is speaking His word as He did from the beginning with Yahoshua being the verb or chosen right arm,, the aleph tav we see in Genesis one. Elohim has been speaking HIS Torah or instructions all this time bringing order from chaos. In these last days many of the sheep are being called out of the sheepfold. These are the ones who are listening to the voice of the Most High Creator of heaven and earth.
The adversary has been a liar from the beginning. He appeared to Eve as a veritable tree of knowledge of good and evil, which he is. The nachash or shiny one (translated as serpent) presented himself to Eve as the most persuasive angel of light and Eve did not resist him and fell for it, Just as so many angels did after thus loosing their first state; Eve, and Adam who was to shamar or guard the garden, lost their first state.
That isn’t biblical.

My first true love was with Christ at the center of my life sitting in the holy place in my life. He should be at the center of every aspect of our lives. The Holy of Holies is the most important aspect in our lives and if we want to be a part of His Messianic Kingdom which may be in our lives in September on the 24th, then we need to walk out His Holy life in our lives every day.
