Thorn in Your Side

True today, for Israel, and for the rest of us.

Judges 2

2 And an angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I swore unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.

2 And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?

3 Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.

Israel did not obey God, and allowed the enemies to continue to reside in the land.

So, even to this day, their enemies afflict them, and are a constant source of trouble and even death, stirring political fires as well.

–

America, as well as many other western countries, in the name of tolerance, have allowed their enemies to cross their borders, and are now paying the price.

–

The end of western civilization is occurring now, as enemies from “within” are stirring internal revolutions, and creating violence.

–

The same is true for the church, as it has abandoned holiness in general,and allowed jezebels, witches and other strange spirits into the church.

Sin is accepted, especially sodomy.

It has lost the discernment to perceive what is true and not true.

–

The big sin for Israel, America, western countries, any Christian country, and the church is “doing nothing” as evil progresses.

–

The “thorns” are here and taking over.

–

Unless we all repent and fight off our enemies, we are going down in defeat.
