Fire goes before them and makes the earth desolate

They appear similar to horses. This part is a puzzle. But it may mean that they appear as swift as horses. It is the swiftness that makes them appear similar, not their shape.
Joe 2:4 The appearance of them [is] as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen [swift steeds], so shall they run
They leap over mountains with their fiery chariots, making noise
Joe 2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
People will be terrified and in pain at seeing them
Joe 2:6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
They come like a massive army – unstoppable
Joe 2:7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
They are NOT mortal – they CANNOT be killed
Joe 2:8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and [when] they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
They swarm over every city, and house, and window, like a huge swarm of insects. They can penetrate every place, nothing is safe from them.
Joe 2:9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
Their presence causes an earthquake, the sun and moon turn dark (6th seal)
Joe 2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
This last verse correlates with Revelation
Rev 6:12 ¶ And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
At this moment, kings and mighty men run for cover.
Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
So, Joel may give a clue why they are going into hiding.
As the wrath of the Lamb is poured out on the wicked, this unstoppable fiery army attacks the residents of the earth.

I am wondering why I have never seen one. I have 3 friends who will swear by it…
I looked on google earth map, and there were actually 2 sightings in my immediate area. I guess I am not outside much.
I am also thinking that if they are that advanced in technology why are they not using some kind of stealth? why are they being blatantly obvious? Surely they can get pass our radar systems and should be able to cloak themselves. And perhaps I am watching too much stargate! 🙂

Was that only human who is behind the big technology booom in the previous century? I m bit not sure. I dont know why, I believe in them, cos when I was a child often happened to me many strange things during the nights, later on I was afraid of unvisible things.. much later when the informatisation comes (books, internet) I see that what happened to me is in many points the same with something like the allien abductions are.

The rocks falling from the earthquake is what cause men to hide from G-d, and yet the repent not. Armor can make some appear to live even though they were shot. Raptors, and F-18’s can do what is written in Joel.
I’m not saying there will not at some time be UFO’s coming in the clouds as a false return of Christ to mislead billions. Perhaps even attacking. However, we have the ability to look into buildings, and see who is there, or how many are there. Joel just has limited speech to explain what he is seeing.
If I see one of those little aliens, I intend to duck tape it/them, and sell it back to the government. Hopefully, I can storm the UFO, and take over the craft.

I think “alien activity” will be used by the AntiChrist to deceive many bout why Christians “mysteriously disappeared” in what we know as the rapture. Either that or some mystical/new age crap to explain it away.

An interpretation of Joel 2:23. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost had been the “former rain” that established the Church, but the current “move” of the Spirit was the “latter rain” that would bring the Church’s work to completion, and culminate in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, which was imminent.
When the Latter Rain hit the dryness was replaced with an almost hyper-spirituality. Many Latter day Pentecostals me included do see this rather as the great revival, evangelism in the last days

You need to read the rest of Joel, which is above. A revival is made of humans and should be a positive event. The Joel army described are not human, their presence cause an earthquake, and they cause people physical pain.

Let’s see… I can give only ONCE more that I have posted long ago.. no one pays attention.. there are weaving hidden message in dream.. and I believe this one is very real.. for some reasons, I understood… yet not understood physically..
I believe approx three to 4 years ago… I have had a dream before having a brain surgery to cut the nerve to prevent trigemental neugoloist ( far worse serve headache in nerve ways than normal headaches daily ) .. What I have seen a dream is very powerful and I can feel it all the way to my heart and to my toes traveling up to my head.. Hard to explain… the real feelings…
And it is still fresh in my mind and heart for so long…
I was standing before a huge green mountain.. with all rioting people shouting and tossing weapons at the bottom.. and at the top I see a huge UFO.. and I was a bit confused because I know it is not something we all should have yet it WILL BE….
I was staying hidden and watching… yet there were two stranger men carrying a very beautiful silk black stallion that seems to be having an injury…that truly sparked my interest.. so I watched and sneaked closer without them noticing me.. Then they left it behide and to join with rioting people…
I looked around… cannot resist the powerful pull by unseen tread to draw closer to the black stallion and I went slowly to get much closer… Got startled when I saw with my own eyes how the black stallion jumped off the metal table at vet place somewhere… and transformed into a man with black leather pants and heavy boots.. and black haired with black wings.. spoken to me , ” Come and run with me right now.. something I must show you.”
I nearly floored and try to gather all together.. but couldn’t as soon as he grabbed my hand to guide me well into a dead run…
I just hold on to his hand tightly and ran with him.. I glance at rioting people and seeing what is above that got them all riled up.. it was actual UFO.. huge as if it is a mother ship… The man spoken to me telepathly immediately saying, ” Do not worry about them.. especially what is above” So I chose to put in a faith and go along with him…
I see the sudden transformation on the hills.. So green.. so pure that you can smell it so fresh and beautiful.. awakening within us all.. and I see down the hill before me is thousands of angels in all colors and shapes… but huge… Far bigger than us all… They can change into sizes to walk among us without noticing… *sigh*

I began to question… He just stopped me right there with telepathy..saying, ” You know and remember us.. and that’s enough.. You do not need to know our names.. I am here to tell you from above that you are ONE of us… ”
I just stood there… looking one each of them briefly and thought, ” How beautiful Almighty God truly create his angels before he created Adam and Eve…”
He just smiled… and sent me back to awake me physically… In a way it is very startling way to awake from the dream as if… lovingly yet glisten sparkle engery surrounding as if being sheild and protected…
For itself alone is truly enough for me to knowledge that no one shall heed to those ufos for those are the fallen angels.. will come soon to cause such chaos that no one known before nor will be…

The prophecy in Joel 2 is about God’s army of light, the treasure in his chest, the global spiritual community that are far beyond religion and its tenets.
In this post let us look at the criteria of the prophecy from Prophet Joel. Based upon experience the chapter is talking about two different types of armies. The first army is God’s spiritual charioteers of light and the second is a physical army that attacked Israel from the North from Lebanon in the summer of 2006. It was in March 2006, that I was inspired to include some information from Joel 2 for an eclipse article and it was during the eclipse itself that I received instructions to go to Israel in May 2006 to call a gathering on a holy hill. Prophecy Criteria

19. The priests call out for help for his people and asks God to spare his people who honor him.
20. Why should they say ‘Where is there God?’
21. God responds and sends new wine and oil.
22. He drives the northern Army back and the smell of their deeds rise.
23. God sends the rains of righteousness, he sends abundant showers.
24. Then Israel knows that God is in Israel.
25. Then God pours out his Spirit on the people.

Then the prophecy speaks of ISRAEL, it speaks of how they would not listen and do his will. I was writing an article about the documentary Bloodline. Also some other works I had viewed about lost life or years of Jesus Christ. I believe in a higher power I just have a hard time trusting in mans spoken or written word, because sin lives all hearts and souls. Whether they know it or not. Gods pressence is felt among us and drives goodness and greatness among in us. We need to choose this for ourselves. I do not understand why I must pray in a building deemed fit by man. Gods presence is all around us. It drives goodness and greatness in us. I do not believe that I must go to building deemed righteous by man.(Church) I think that the prayers and words of strength should spoke in town squares or halls. On your streets and in our homes.

Do you believe the UFOs are a government work, or the effort of supernatural beings? or both? and why?
Well Freedom Writer there was nothing that you wrote in that post about the Gospel of Mary, have you even read it? The bible mentions other texts that are in the bible, so did Clement of Alexandra the teacher of Origen who compiled the second version. Did you know that they have an original copy of the Gospel of Thomas in an Egyptian museum that is older than the gospels that are in the bible? As far as I am aware there are no originals of the 4 gospels and well known biblical scholars know that they don’t know who wrote them.
However, I trust Christ who led me to them one by one. The Gospel of Philip is wonderful all about perfection. Christ taught original goodness not original sin. How could the church get to believe their story of events if they did not teach you that you were born in sin and required them to help you. LOL !
Christ taught his followers that they were sacred and the temple of God.
The words ‘THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU’ is a mystic staying. Gnosis….

Eliakim- I have read many works of many religions and faiths. Good and bad. I try to keep balance in my thought process and in my heart. “I believe to understand the good you need to understand the bad. I also believe in order to choose good, bad has to be present. Or there is no choice.

Joel 2 gives a picture of the Lord’s army and the Lord gives voice to His “mighty men” (David’s mighty men), because His camp is very great (Joel 2:11).
With this in mind, now read Joel chapter 2 (read references too).

Maybe, one or more of the 7 Thunders is a surprise for the Antichrist? Maybe a band of Mighty Men of God comes forth to break down his strongholds and sets many captives free?

Don’t you think the Lord’s Army could be the locust’s. God is able to get his point across and at the same time fulfill prophesy with such a small creature. It would show how God need not use the Devil’s weapons to take down the devils army/worshippers. This would explain them (the locusts) being shot at and not getting cut down. If you think about it, you can shoot at a swarm of locust, but you’re not gonna kill the whole swarm. Thanks for your references. They were very insightful.
