When is the appointed time?

calendar

Man has his own calendar, but both God and Satan have their calendars as well. Is there a way to look at all 3, and come to a logical conclusion for the last days?

The establishment of an appointed time:

Gen 18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Exd 9:5 And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.

Job 7:1 [Is there] not an appointed time to man upon earth? [are not] his days also like the days of an hireling?

Regarding the end time Antichrist- fierce leader:

Dan 11:27 And both these kings’ hearts [shall be] to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end [shall be] at the time appointed.

Dan 11:29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.

Dan 11:35 And [some] of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make [them] white, [even] to the time of the end: because [it is] yet for a time appointed.

light-hoffman

Visions:

Hab 2:3 For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry

When is the appointed time for God?:

Exd 23:15 Thou shall keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shall eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou came out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)

Psa 81:3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

“Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘The Lord’s appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations—My appointed times are these:’” (Leviticus 23:2).

The Lord’s appointed times are festivals and holy days that commemorate significant times and events in Israel’s history.

I personally find it interesting that there are 3 ½ months between the spring feasts and the fall feasts, just as there will be 3 ½ years of Jacob’s trouble before the Lord returns.

If I follow this reasoning a little further, then Jacob’s trouble would start in the summer, around June, in one year, and end in the Fall, around September, 3 ½ years later.

Will the summer of 2009 be the start of something?

When is the appointed time on Satan’s (Lucifer’s) calendar?

Lucifer (Quetzalcoatl) was the god of the Mayans. The Mayan calendar is very accurate, indicating supernatural knowledge at that time. The Maya themselves describe past visits of Quetzalcoatl, the Feathered Serpent, their snake god, descending through a “hole in the sky” on a rope ladder.

They believe at the end of 2012, the serpent rope will emerge again from the center of the Milky Way, and Quetzalcoatl will return, heralding a new era at the start of 2013. Another version of the story has Quetzalcoatl sailing down on a winged ship, causing some to speculate that a UFO armada or “mother ship” could descend and take up position over earth on that date.

Additional significance can be attached to this finding when considering that 2013 follows the end of the great cycle of the Maya calendar and the planetary cycle of the Aztec calendar, which concludes Dec. 21, 2012.

When is the appointed time in the Bible Code- if that can be trusted?

This date 2012 has raised apocalyptic fears in corners around the world. According to “The Bible Code,” the world will end on this date due to a collision with a meteor, asteroid, or comet.

When is the appointed time according to earth scientists, and other “earthlings?”

The Timewave Zero theory

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novelty_theory

http://video.google.com

/videoplay?docid=8701042459684666916

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-prt5d6m6s (start around 3 minutes)

This is a theory that purports to calculate the ebb and flow of novelty in the universe as an inherent quality of time. Novelty, in this context, can be thought of as newness, density of complexification, and dynamic change as opposed to static habituation.

According to McKenna, when “novelty” is graphed over time, a fractal waveform known as timewave zero or simply the timewave results. The graph shows at what times, but never at what locations, novelty is supposedly increasing or decreasing.

When the graph declines, or drops, there is novelty, or a new experience. When it goes up, there is less novelty, or experiences that mankind is very familiar with.

According to the timewave graph, great periods of novelty occurred about 4 billion years ago when Earth was formed, 65 million years ago when dinosaurs were extinct and mammals expanded, about 10,000 years ago after the end of the ice age, around late 18th century when social and scientific revolutions progressed, during the sixties, around the time of 9/11, in November 2008, and with coming novelty periods in October 2010 (rapture?), with the novelty progressing towards the infinity on 21 December 2012.

Important graphic points in 2009, appear around 19 April, 29 August and 23 October 2009, indicating the possibility of significant events around these dates. If true, what might these events be?

That as the complexity and sophistication of human thought and culture increase, universal novelty approaches a Koch curve of infinite exponential growth(singularity).

That in the time immediately prior to, and during this omega point (2012) of infinite novelty, anything and everything conceivable to the human imagination will occur simultaneously, presentation as an implication.

That the date of this singularity is December 21, 2012, the end of the long count of the Mayan calendar. Time becomes nonlinear. A new humanity.

McKenna did not purport to know what exactly would happen with the demise of novelty when the Timewave became zero. Popular New Age theories for 2012 include: the mass of humanity would, by means of some technology, become mentally conjoined in a great collective; the moment in which time travel became a reality; the birth of self-conscious artificial intelligence; a global UFO visitation.

Another theory – the “Novelty Theory” – claims time itself is a “fractal wave,” which will end abruptly in 2012. Even the popular television program X-Files speculated that colonization of the earth by “aliens” would occur in December 2012.

Besides this type of speculation, an unusual number of important events will occur beginning in 2012.

NASA is predicting the next Solar Maximum will arrive in 2012 and will be the strongest in 50 years. At the same time, the sun will align with the center of the Milky Way for the first time in 26,000 years, on the exact date of the end of the Mayan calendar, Dec. 21, 2012.

This will also be the year when the United States and the United Nations elect a new president and a new secretary general, considered by some to be the two most powerful “thrones” on earth, and the seat from which prophecy experts say the Antichrist will rule or receive power.

Generational time, according to modern calculations:

***Jesus said the last generation would see his coming from what he implied would be the rebirth of Israel. How long is a generation?

Entropy Generation and Human Aging: Lifespan Entropy and Effect of Physical Activity Level

The first and second laws of thermodynamics were applied to biochemical reactions typical of human metabolism.

The entropy generated predicts a life span of 73.78 and 81.61 years for the average U.S. male and female individuals respectively, which are values that closely match the average lifespan from statistics (74.63 and 80.36 years).

For the “entropy calculated generation:”

May 15, 1948 (birth of Israel) + 73.78 years =

May 15, 1948 (birth of Israel) + 73 years, 9 months, 10 days = February 25, 2021.

For Daniel’s last week: 2021 – 7 = 2014 latest time that Jacob’s trouble starts.

For the “statistically calculated generation:”

May 15, 1948 (birth of Israel) + 74.63 years =

May 15, 1948 (birth of Israel) + 74 years, 7 months, 17 days = December 29, 2022.

For Daniel’s last week: 2022 – 7 = 2015 latest time that Jacob’s trouble starts.

It is interesting that 4 blood red moons are predicted in 2014-2015, during Feasts of the Lord.

Before this, there will be a total eclipse of the sun in July 2010, followed by a total eclipse of the moon in December 2010. This lines up with the 6th seal.

Rev 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

koch-curve

Koch curve

Generational theory + timewave theory + God’s timing

Following this line of logic, if the 6th seal is complete by December 2010, then much trouble, with many new events (novelty- according to timewave zero), will occur in the next 3 ½ years (this post is written April 18, 2009).

There will be one non-novel time, in May 2010, with another rapid time of novel change through December 2010.

I could be wrong, but this short time in May 2010 could be a time of conflict and internal wars, riots etc, due to the changes. This could be the time of the 5th seal, when many of the saints are killed for the last time. Whoever survives would be raptured.

Another interpretation could be that the rapture occurs between Nov 2008 and May, 2010, causing the huge drop in the graph (dramatic increase in novelty). This would cause chaos, and any remaining saints who did not make it would be martyred afterwards.

One observation is that the time between May, 2004, and December 2004, looks similar to the time between October, 2008 and April 2009.

At least for America, I see this as the controversial elections causing huge changes and an irreversible split in the country’s unity. America has become strongly divided politically, which is “novelty” on the timewave graph.

After the 2004 election, the country returned to normalcy fairly well, in spite of the war and economic troubles, but I see very little return to normalcy after the 2008 election. Things seem to continue to unravel into more changes than people want or expect.

Please take note that this is just speculation, based on theories.

God can create a dark sun and a blood moon and have it occur within the same 24 hour period, and be an event that NASA could not predict. This would change all the timing.

Lucifer’s input

If Lucifer has indicated to his followers that he will return in 2009-2012, then maybe that is a consideration. If he is revealing this, then the Christians can make plans and be ready, and be less deceived.

Conclusion about the last days

Jesus said only the Father knew the day and the hour that the final days would happen. The appointed time may not be concluded, therefore, to this specific degree, but we can conclude that we are on its threshold.

Be sober, be vigilant. Pray, prepare, and trust God.

Remember, we have more authority than Satan does. We are covered by the blood of Jesus, if we are faithful. Remember also, that we have to be faithful unto death, if necessary.

Maybe the appointed time is now.  Maybe we are out of time.    Rapture or not, we could die tomorrow in an accident. Each person has their own appointed time. We should always be ready.

  2. Hi Marianne,

    Speaking of time and space and accidents, I found this article in my browsing. It is fascinating when one encounters an event that defies the laws of physics as this one.
    Although I will cut and paste this one article here, there seems to be a multitude of this sort of witness.

    Apr 6th, 2009 – 10:04 AM
    A MIRACLE witnessed by THREE Christians ….a prophecy the next a.m. …
    IF you read and do not believe this post …I do not blame you one bit!! INCREDIBLE , but I have to answer to CHRIST on this in Heaven , so here goes !!!
    ~~~~~WHAT happened FRIDAY nite, last , was the most incredible experience of my entire life with GOD !!!!!! I am so amazed I am still just “in heavenly places ” ……….
    ~~~~~~~~ Friday nite last I went to a play at THE TEXAS REPERTORY THEATRE in a Houston suburb (the 1960 area (Spring)) with two wonderful Christians ladies who are born-again and attend a nondenom . church in THE WOODLANDS north of BIG H where I live also .
    ~~~~~~~~ After the play we were driving down a street called Louetta Road away from the play .It was around 11 p.m. . We stopped at a redlight at Kuykendahl , then it turned green and we went on …….AT OUR RIGHT A MAN IN A GOLD CAR WAS RUNNING A REDLIGHT !!!! He plowed into our car going as fast as he could hitting the right side of Marie’s car at the back door …GAYLE was the passenger in the back seat sitting right at that back door.
    WE WATCHED AS THAT CAR “DISAPPEARED INTO OURS ” and went right on down the street …no NOISE , no crash , no injuries , no damage to our car …the car hit us and literally went through our car to the other side of it as though invisible and went on down the road . Had the CRASH TRANSPIRED NORMALLY , Gayle would be in a morgue today …he was running head-on into her side and slammed right into her , literally !!!! We believe the man was very intoxicated to have done this in the first place
    (running a read light speeding down Kuykendahl ).
    ~~~~~~~~ WE WATCHED THIS HAPPEN …..we slowed down on Louetta amd we started calling out to the Lord in Praise and AWE !! We literally praised Him for the next twenty minutes to our homes in awe of what God had done …sent angels to PROTECT US and THE MAN in the other car . TWO CARS WENT IN TO EACH OTHER as though both liquid ( right through the atoms ) !
    MIRACLE of MIRACLES and we will never get over it , NEVER ….we will be forever joined in the spirit over what took place on Louetta Road !
    We got home and we were stunned and so happy . We all went home and went to sleep .
    *******The next night Gayle called me that Marie had given forth a prophecy on the ENDTIMES Saturday a.m. !!!!******
    ~~~~~~ She said , ” the Lord says , WHAT OCCURRED FRIDAY NIGHT is the “beginning” of many things that WILL HAPPEN in the coming months !!!!”
    I guess the Lord was saying many MIRACLES OF PROTECTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    ~~~I again rejoiced with her and Marie !!!
    ~~~~Whether or not YOU are able to BELIEVE this is up to you …I invite you to ASK THE LORD HIMSELF if this be true …I , MYSELF , am still IN AWE OF HIS POWER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    HIS FABULOUS , WONDERFUL POWER !!!!!!!!!!!!!
    praise the Lord of hosts !!!!
    the RAPTURE IS SOON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Until The Rapture , we are “supernaturally” living here on this earth plane !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    GOD IS GOD …who is able to comprehend HIM ?????
    Bless His Name !
    • Hi Abgail,
      That is an awesome story. Maybe in the trouble to come, this kind of testimony will win many of the lost, especially if they are witnesses to such events.
  3. Just as Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego [Dan.3:21-26]were not harmed by the fire, I cannot see why that incident that Abigail just related above could be any different. We have an omnipotent Father that cares for his children, and as we are already in the last Heptad [7yrs]of earth’s history, starting the eve of Sept.12 2007, we are going to witness even more spectacular happenings taking place. The Lord’s Watchmen have neglected their duty, and are referred to as “dumb dogs” [Isa.56:10-12]and in the new Jerusalem, we are told “outside are DOGS, sorcerers, immoral persons, idolaters and every one who loves and practices falsehood. [Rev.22:15]. We are also told …If you do NOT watch, Jesus will come unexpectedly, like a thief, and we will NOT know what hour He will appear. [Rev.3:3] That intimates, that we are able to KNOW when He does come! We will UNDERSTAND the puzzle that God’s Watchmen were supposed to have been able to solve since the fulfillment of the Times of the Gentiles when Jerusalem was united once again on June 7 1967. [Luke 21:24]
    • Hi Olaf,
      I think God is following the Jewish calendar for prophecy.
      I am glad you mentioned June 7, 1967. I thought about doing calculations from that date also, but I did not want the post to get too long.
      Given the sign of the fig tree and a forty-years generation, we can observe that the date of the recapture of Jerusalem, June 7, 1967, occurred on Iyar 28, eight days before Pentecost as it is currently being observed on the Jewish calendar.
      But when the calendar discrepancy is taken into account, we see a correlation between Sivan 6, Pentecost, and the date of the recapture of Jerusalem.
      This may be a confirmation from God that the actual dates are significant in the beginning of the final generation and that the 7.61 days is the actual amount of the calendar discrepancy.
      Further, while the date of the recapture of Jerusalem correlates to the observance of Pentecost on an assigned date,
      I would think that the rapture, if it is the final fulfillment of Pentecost, would occur on the correct day. Jesus ascended into heaven 10 days before Pentecost. Would we also do this? We will have to wait and see. The important thing to do is watch, think and pray.
      • Hi Marianne
        Correction by the Holy Spirit.
        ‘The important thing to do is …. watch …..BLINK …. ‘
  4. Hi Marianne,
    Here is an email I have received.
    7 year old child has a vision.
    It is Saturday night and my 7 yr old daughter told me she had a vision. This is the first time she’s ever had one to my recollection. At first I thought she was making it all up, but I don’t think she would lie about this. I’ve never talked to her about visions or anything like that.
    Her vision (and she was awake for this) started with her seeing different puzzle pieces in the air being put together and she saw the picture in the puzzle become animated. She said the picture was of Jesus’ hand (with a hole in his hand from crucifixion) and we as a family were on His hand and Jesus’ hand was moving up into the air towards Heaven. She said we were in Heaven and she saw many angels blowing their trumpets and Jewish musical instruments and they were lined up on the left and right sides of us (making a path) as we walked toward God’s throne to talk to Him. And then she said the vision started from the beginning again and happened again.
    She told me, “Mama, I think this was a vision from God or an angel and it means that we are going to get raptured soon”. I said to her that it had to be God. Crazy! All these visions and dreams everyone has been having, including myself and now my 7 yr old is having a vision??? WOW!
  5. be encouraged brothers and sisters! 1 Thessalonians 5
    1Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
    4But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled. 7For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 11Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
  6. Jesus commanded 2,000 years ago saying ‘Deny yourself , take up your cross and follow
    Me.’
    How many have actually obeyed? Many are called but few are chosen and faithful.
    Jesus gave His all in Humble Obedience to the Perfect Will of God.
    Today people think there is no need to obey the Voice Of The Lord and so they do not hear Him.
    And in this they have transgressed.
    If only they would have Loved Him and sought Him to know His perfect Law and Will.
    Disobedience is unbelief and this to there own destruction.
    Could it be that God requires 24/7 of us they ask?
    They think their lives are their own.
    They do not believe that God is their Creator because if they did they would not ask such a question.
    In their own rebellious, religious, assumptions they think ‘God would not ask such a thing as this’
    Yet The Lord does request this of His Own and is this too hard?
    Depends on the heart.
    Here is a little song to think about.
  7. Matt: 28: 18,19,and 20 then Jesus cam and spoke to them saying.”All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
    IN JESUS CHRIST NAME I PRAY, MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND GIVE YOU FAVOR TO HEAR HIM WHEN HE SPEAKS TO YOU AND BY HIS SPIRIT THE STRIENGTH TO DO WHAT HE SAYS AND TO STAY FAITHFUL TO HIM AND HIS COMMANDS HE HAS GIVEN US IN HIS WORD TO THE VERY END . AMEN.
    THANK YOU ABBA FOR HEARING MY PRAYER I BELIEVE ALL THOSE WHO ACCEPT IT WILL RECEIVE MY REQUEST FOR THEM FROM YOU. TO YOU BE ALL GLORY FOREVER AND EVER AMEN
  10. We listen to Family Radio in South Africa…!
    Thanks for the news article…!
    Herewith the latest tract i received from Family Radio in South Africa. Here is the link.
    http://www.familyradio.com/graphical/literature/judgment/judgment.html
    It just amazes me how God allowed mankind to develop communication and mass media so that we can proclaim Judgment Day to the whole world.
    (2Ti 4:2) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
    (2Ti 4:3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
    (2Ti 4:4) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
    (2Ti 4:5) But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
    There is just little more than 18 months left….!
    (Joh 9:4) I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
    In the 40 days of Jonah, God use 1 “unwilling” prophet to get the warning out in order to save about 120 000 sinners in Nineveh… ! (at a average rate of 3000 souls per day…)
    Imagine…..! Just one “unwilling” prophet without our modern day hi tech gadgets like cellphone, cable or satelite tv, telephone, fancy ipod or internet….etc. etc.
    Today…. at a ratio of 1 : 120 000 God only need less than 61 000 “unwilling” prophets to reach the about 7 billion people of this world!
    Of this 8400days of great tribulation we have an alarming just more than 14160 hours left…!
    (Luk 11:32) The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
    Lets see to it that the “Judgement Day” tracts come into every house, every bedchamber, upon every bed, into the houses of the every servant, upon every people, into their ovens, into their kneadingtroughs….. everywhere….!
    (Exo 8:3) And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:
    When we hit the year 2011 we must sing for joy if we this “Judgment Day?” tracts being littered all over the world….! Even to such an extent that all the goverments of the world, the national, the regional and the local goverments have difficulty to get rid of them…!
    May the the LORD have mercy on each one of us if we “litter” this world with this “Judgment Day” tracts …. in an effort to get the warning out….!
    That is at least our intention in Africa. The world made Africa and other poor countries the dump yard of old technology. Praise God for for that, although we have very expensive access to instruments such as internet, we have no shortage of the old traditional wireless radios that can pick up short wave and AM frequency radio signals.
    The AM 1197khz frequency radio signal of Family Radio was as cristal clear as the True Gospel itself. Although it was freezing cold in my hometown, the warmth of the True Gospel via the radio broadcast of Family Radio to “my people” all over Africa made up for it.
    • dear johannes,
      Praise the Lord for all methods of preaching the gospel!
      There is no “small, low technology” way of doing it. It is all God’s technology.
      Each method is effective for certain people, and each method works. Tracts are good, radio is good, TV is good, word of mouth is good, internet is good……
      Jesus preached using nothing more than his voice, and walking from place to place. He came in person to each individual, and had more impact than our modern TV.
      May God bless all your efforts in Africa. There are many precious souls there to claim for the kingdom, and the Lord loves, and will reward, your passion and commitment.
  11. johannes
    I had not heard of Family Radio before, but I just bookmarked. I am listening to it now. 🙂
  12. I believe that 2012 is the next Y2K. All the horrors predicted for Y2K never materialized and neither will 2012 produce the end of days. Granted, the seven seals are opening and bad things will continue to happen until the second coming, but 2012 is obviously not that date or else we would already be in the great tribulation.
    If God is keeping a neat time schedule, I’m looking to 2033 – 2 millennia from the year Christ left. That gives the world 18 years to prepare for the Antichrist, One World church, WWIII and the war of Gog. Seems like just enough time to do it in.
    Just a guess of course. Something to think about.
  13. About the blood red moon… The seal says the sun will be black and the moon red. That’s impossible at the same time, unless there’s another object such as a meteor/planet that would block out the sun to make it black. During a lunar eclipse the earth is between the sun and moon and the moon turns red. During a solar eclipse the moon comes between sun and earth and the sun turns black. It would take an earth sized or larger object to blacken the sun which would then make the moon red at certain angles.
    • Hi SPenser,
      When I first started writing about this, I was thinking that maybe there would be a time when natural signs would coincide and the eclipses would also. But the solar eclipses and lunar ones are at least 2 weeks apart when they do occur.
      I am starting to think that it would have to be a supernatural phenomenon that BOTH the sun and moon would turn dark at the same time. If it was just a natural event, people might dismiss it. But it was something that defied science, they might realize that it was God, and consider their ways.
      • Remember that it also says “the stars shall not give their light, indicating the entire atmosphere will be clouded. Not surprising since all the other disasters Jesus spoke of such as earthquakes and diseases are all natural.
        There is one thing you could consider, if God dimmed the sun, the moon would also go dark, but without the heat/light from the sun we would all die in days. And the stars would be visible even in the day time.
        Looks like it’s going to be natural.
  14. That’s one theory, but also if you read the rest of the 6th seal it describes the sky receding like a scroll (axis of the earth tilting) and also every mountain and every island being thrown from its place. That would totally coincide with another heavenly object coming between earth and venus or mars (I’m not sure which side, but probably venus side). It could be a planet (Nibiru?).
    • hi Spenser
      The bible predicts that a “star” named Wormwood would crash into the ocean and cause the waters to become bitter.
      Some believe Nibiru exists. Others do not.
      If it does exist, then it is 4x the size if the earth.
      A crash would destroy earth, unless just a piece of it came off from another impact somewhere else. In this case, only the piece that comes off is the wormwood part.
      Wormwood and Nibiru could also be 2 separate objects.
      Also, if Nibiru does exist, it would have to pass twice by the earth, in an elliptical orbit. The effects each time could be different.
      • Its too late for Nibiru. If it as big as people say, we should see it by now if it is to get here in time for the tribulation. If it was discovered tomorrow it would take over 75 years to get close to the earth. We don’t have that long so you can scratch it from the list of candidates.
        What is more than likely is the asteroid Apophis which will make a very close pass of the earth (200 miles) in 2029. Perfect timing and with a slight angelic nudge could hit the earth. And its just the right size to do the kind of damage indicated.
        Maybe that will help pinpoint the “appointed time ” a little.
    • Hey Spencer,
      Sorry but I have a pet prophecy peeve and you have just triggered it.
      Where do you get that “The sky receding like a scroll” means that the tilt of the earth’s axis is going to change? There is no natural force that could cause this to happen, at least not in a short time frame. Not without tearing the planet to pieces first.
      And for peeve part two, the words “every mountain and every island being thrown from its place” cannot be taken literally, at least not as a natural phenomenon. There is no natural force, including an object coming near the earth, that could cause this. A passing planet would pull on the earth equally and with far less force than the nearby moon does all the time. And the moon can only muster enough gravity to move the oceans. Once again, if this were to actually happen, the earth would be torn apart and we would all die.
      Please, no more pseudo-science.
  15. I’m not suggesting a crash. If you read the Gen (7:11) account of the flood it talks about the fountains of the deep being broken up and the windows of the sky opening. The earth’s axis was tilted by the flood. This sounds a lot like the sixth seal where the fountains were “broken up” meaning that something caused the layer of water under the ground to be broken up. Nothing on earth could cause that to happen. But a gravitational pull from outside of earth could easily pull that off. Nibiru passing back then and then ~3630 years later passing by again and causing the axis to tilt again and the islands and mountains being thrown from place.
    Why do you say that it would have to pass by earth 2x? Are you talking about coming down one side and coming up the other? Nibiru may or may not exist but some heavenly object will pass by earth. Wormwood will crash into the sea yes, but that’s a different seal and something different entirely. The coming planet would not crash into earth because it would destroy it, but it could totally have asteroids and rocks following it in its orbit since it is such a big object.
    • hi spenser
      “Crash” was just my word for something – whatever it is – falling out of the sky and hitting the oceans. If there was enough impact, it could crack the mantle.
      Here are my thoughts on Nibiru
      Nibiru
      The effect of it would also depend on which side of the sun the earth was, in its own orbit around the sun, when nibiru happened to pass by.
  16. I’m saying that this planet is not going to touch earth at all. Merely pass by. I don’t know if it is the fabled “Nibiru” or not but biblically, something will pass by that is before the waters are turned bitter from wormwood striking earth. Something else will hit earth and open up hell and the demons will come pouring out as well. There will be multiple objects hitting this planet, but what I’m saying is that the 6th seal is not an impact. If somethign 4x the size of earth hit earth, earth would become a zit on its face as it was passing by. If something 4x bigger than earth came within 10,000 miles of earth, then there would be effects similar to the 6th seal in the book of the Revelation.
  17. China and Russia put the blame on some screwed up experiments of US for the earthquake that happened in Haiti.
    Chinese and Russian Military scientists, these reports say, are concurring with Canadian researcher, and former Asia-Pacific Bureau Chief of Forbes Magazine, Benjamin Fulford, who in a very disturbing video released from his Japanese offices to the American public, details how the United States attacked China by the firing of a 90 Million Volt Shockwave from the Americans High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) facilities in Alaska
    If we can recollect a previous news when US blamed Russia for the earthquake in Georgio. What do you guys think? Is it really possible to create an earthquake by humans?
    I came across this article about Haiti Earthquake in some blog it seems very interesting, but conspiracy theories have always been there.
    • Hi Lindsayraikwarme
      I think it may be possible for the HAARPs around the world to create the amount of energy to cause a quake.
      I am not sure about how electromagnetism in the air would make the earth quake. It seems like it would affect the air more than the earth.
      The questions is..if this is really possible- transmitting energy from the air to the earth’s crust…..then, is this the cause of the discussed earthquakes, or is it a natural cause?
      Earthquakes have existed since time began on earth, and before the HAARPs.
  18. Sorry but electromagnetic energy is quickly absorbed by rock. Just try getting your cell or radio to work in a cave. If electromagnetic radiation could cause quakes, we here in southern California would have a quake every five minutes due to all the high power TV and radio transmissions in the area. Hey we can’t even predict a quake let alone cause one. And who would give money to an organization whose mission statement is to cause earthquakes?
    Haiti exists because of seismic activity. Without it Haiti would never have been created. This is true for much of the earth’s landforms including the high sierras, the Rockies and the 10,000” high mountains I see when I look out my window.
    Should Californians or Haitians abandon their homelands? Yes, but only if they want to be safer than they are. (I just wouldn’t move to tornado alley or New Orleans/Florida). Most of us are content to take our chances or maybe have nowhere else to go.
    We are just going to have to deal with mother nature.
    And keep our fingers crossed.
  19. Sjoe more than a year later….!!!
    25 weeks from today…!!!
    May God have mercy on each one of us.
  20. Just a note about the “Sun’s alignment with the center of the galaxy” in 2012.
    First of all, the sun aligns itself with the center of the galaxy every year. The supposed big deal is that on 2012 it will occur on the day of the winter solstice – Dec 21st.
    Turns out it will occur on that date this year as well, and for the next 38 years. It also occurred on that day for the past 34 years. The day of the winter solstice is not particularly important other than being the beginner of winter in our calendar system.
    If you get technical and look for the year when the alignment occurs at the same moment as the exact moment of the solstice… well that never actually happens. The closest it came was in 1998 according to astronomers.
    And then there is the problem of determining exactly where the “center of the galaxy” is. It’s like finding the center of the U.S. – where do you measure from? Hawaii to the west? Alaska to the north? As 100 map makers and you’ll get 100 answers. And imagine trying to find it without leaving your house in Kentucky. With just a pair of binoculars. Ask 100 astronomers and you’ll get 100 answers.
    Plus the Mayans did not know that we are in a galaxy, let alone how to calculate the center. They just picked a spot in the brightest area of the Milky Way where there was a dark cloud (nebula) which they believed to be a sacred cave, then figured out when the sun would align with that spot at the time of the winter solstice. In their time it would have occurred in October/November. So they did a pretty good job with their calculations, but the actual date means nothing and for that matter, has already occurred.
    So everything you’ve heard about the “galactic alignment” is totally bogus as is the idea of global catastrophe. According to modern Mayan descendants there is no such prophecy in Mayan folklore. It is all in the imagination of modern writers and especially you tube idiots who are just trying to scare as many people as possible. Isn’t that a form of terrorism? Don’t be a victim people.
  21. No one wants the Lord to come back more than me. I’ve said it over and over; I don’t like date setting, because it sets people up to stop believing if it doesn’t come to pass.
    We could calculate the first coming, so it only make sense you should be able to do it for the second coming.
    I believe we are getting closer.
    I told you Marianne a couple of times you need to do a post on the Millennium
    And I wonder; where did these people come up with these new sets of dates? So I did, a little web surfing.
    Judgement Day
    Sunday, July 26, 2009
    About Family Radio and its proclamation to the world that May 21, 2011 is Judgement Day and the Rapture
    It took Family Radio, and especially, Mr Harold Camping, around 51 years of intensive Bible study to finally come up with the date May 21, 2011 as being both Judgement Day and also the day of the Rapture. Not only because of the diligent work of Family Radio did this information emerge, but also because the Bible says in Daniel 12 and Ecclesiastes 8:5 that this information will only be known when we reach the end of time. Actually, this information got to be known by Family Radio around the end of 2007, just around 4 years before the very end of time and history. Many theologians and Bible scholars have tried in the past to find this date but were unsuccessful because they were not living in the time of the end. Please read the 70-page booklet WE ARE ALMOST THERE! which you can obtain for FREE from Family Radio by going to their website (www.familyradio.com) or simply call 00-1-800-543-1495. It is a summary of this big topic that Family Radio had to deal with for more than 50 years. I wish you the best of luck and may God’s mercy be upon you before this terrible day arrives.
    Judgment Day!
    May 21, 2011
    And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. Revelation 9:5
    The End of the World
    October 21, 2011
    The purpose of this tract is to inform you of the great urgency there now is in the world for each and every person to be reconciled to God. The Bible is the Word of God! Everything the Bible declares has the full authority of God Himself. Now, at this time, information is coming forth from the Bible which clearly reveals God’s plan for Judgment Day and the end of the world itself. The Bible has opened up its secrets concerning the timeline of history. This information was never previously known because God had closed up His Word blocking any attempt to gain knowledge of the end of the world. We read about this in the book of Daniel:
    Daniel 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
    However, now in our present day, God has opened up His Word (the Bible) to reveal a great deal of truth concerning the end of time (and many other teachings). Also, in the same chapter of Daniel, it says:
    Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
    God is now opening up His Word because we have arrived at the time of the end. For this reason, it has become very obvious to the serious student of the Bible that we are now living in the last few days of earth’s history. As a matter of fact, because we are living at the end of time, God is now revealing to His people the following information:
    THE BIBLE’S CALENDAR OF HISTORY
    The Lord has opened up His people’s understanding to the “Biblical calendar” found on the pages of the Bible. The genealogies of the book of Genesis, primarily in chapters 5 and 11, can be shown to be a precise calendar of the history of mankind in this world. The Bible’s calendar of history is completely accurate and trustworthy.
    Since this Bible calendar is given by God in His Word, it can be trusted wholeheartedly. In this brief pamphlet, we will share some of the conclusions derived from the Biblical calendar and from other studies in the Scriptures. However, the amount of information available is far too abundant and complex to get into much detail in this short pamphlet; but we can and will give precise and compelling dates. These dates can be trusted entirely because they come right out of the Bible. (EBiblefellowship has no affiliation with Family Radio; however, we highly recommend that you obtain a free copy of the book “We Are Almost There!” by writing to the following address: Family Stations, Inc., 290 Hegenberger Rd., Oakland, CA 94621. This book goes into far greater detail regarding the timing of Judgment Day and the end of the world. Also, you can read or download “We Are Almost There!” online at: http://www.familyradio.com).
    The Millennial Day Concept
    By J.R. Church on April 5, 2010
    Each of the Six Days of Creation Represents a thousand years of Human activity on this Earth – then the Judgment will come.
    It has been six thousand years since the creation of Adam and the seventh millennium is rolling in upon us. The twentieth century was beset with two world wars, widespread famine and disease, an increase in earthquake activity, and the revival of Israel. It seems more than a coincidence that these events occurred around the dawning of the seventh millennium.
    Some first, second and third-century theologians taught that Christ would return at the end of 6,000 years, and though He has not yet come, many Christians still agree. Not enough years have passed since the turn of the millennium to dissuade us of that view. Even if we considered the proposed timing of the early church fathers to be only approxi-mate, we are still inclined to agree. We can see the prophetic Scriptures being fulfilled around us today.
    http://www.spiritandtruth.org/teaching/Book_of_Revelation/commentary/htm/041109.htm
    Some have tried to malign premillennialism by suggesting that it is a relatively novel development of recent times—that it is not a view which finds support among the early Church. Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, in the earliest church, prior to the time of Augustine and Roman Catholicism, premillennialism was the dominant view of the Church. While we do not determine the truth of doctrine from the views of Church Fathers, it can be helpful to study their views to see how different areas of doctrine developed or what caused them to die away or change. In the case of belief in a literal, earthly kingdom, it is particularly interesting to see that the earliest Fathers for which we have record—even those who were only a generation or two away from our beloved John whose book we are studying—held to the same basic view premillennialists espouse. They interpreted God’s promises literally and understood a coming kingdom of God on earth which did not correspond with the Church age.
  22. only God knows the appointed time for the end of the world to come.
  23. apostle james munonye
    The difference between the past and now and knowing the end will come soon for me is: the technology, the exponential curve and the increas of Evil and Godless people who want to play God and build another Tower of Babel. It’s all mapped out in the Bible. We can know. It’s not a secret. Marianne has all the Bible verses listed all over this blog, so I don’t have to reiterate them.
    Look at the video on “The Exponential Curve” on:
    Bible predicts outcome of Iraq War
  24. Someone sent this to me. I don’t like date setting. It sets people up to stop believing.
    The Hanukkah date came and went December 7th, 2010. I guess I’ll have to wait and see what happens in May. I’m not mocking it. So don’t take me wrong.
    RALEIGH, N.C. – If there had been time, Marie Exley would have liked to start a family. Instead, the 32-year-old Army veteran has less than six months left, which she’ll spend spreading a stark warning: Judgment Day is almost here.
    Exley is part of a movement of Christians loosely organized by radio broadcasts and websites, independent of churches and convinced by their reading of the Bible that the end of the world will begin May 21, 2011.
    To get the word out, they’re using billboards and bus stop benches, traveling caravans of RVs and volunteers passing out pamphlets on street corners. Cities from Bridgeport, Conn., to Little Rock, Ark., now have billboards with the ominous message, and mission groups are traveling through Latin America and Africa to spread the news outside the U.S.
    “A lot of people might think, ‘The end’s coming, let’s go party,'” said Exley, a veteran of two deployments in Iraq. “But we’re commanded by God to warn people. I wish I could just be like everybody else, but it’s so much better to know that when the end comes, you’ll be safe.”
    In August, Exley left her home in Colorado Springs, Colo., to work with Oakland, Calif.-based Family Radio Worldwide, the independent Christian ministry whose leader, Harold Camping, has calculated the May 21 date based on his reading of the Bible.
    She is organizing traveling columns of RVs carrying the message from city to city, a logistics challenge that her military experience has helped solve. The vehicles are scheduled to be in five North Carolina cities between now and the second week of January, but Exley will shortly be gone: overseas, where she hopes to eventually make it back to Iraq.
    “I don’t really have plans to come back,” she said. “Time is short.”
    Not everyone who’s heard Camping’s message is taking such a dramatic step. They’re remaining in their day-to-day lives, but helping publicize the prophecy in other ways. Allison Warden, of Raleigh, has been helping organize a campaign using billboards, post cards and other media in cities across the U.S. through a website, We Can Know.
    The 29-year-old payroll clerk laughs when asked about reactions to the message, which is plastered all over her car.
    “It’s definitely against the grain, I know that,” she said. “We’re hoping people won’t take our word for it, or Harold Camping’s word for it. We’re hoping that people will search the scriptures for themselves.”
    Camping, 89, believes the Bible essentially functions as a cosmic calendar explaining exactly when various prophecies will be fulfilled.
    The retired civil engineer said all his calculations come from close readings of the Bible, but that external events like the foundation of the state of Israel in 1948 are signs confirming the date.
    “Beyond the shadow of a doubt, May 21 will be the date of the Rapture and the day of judgment,” he said.
    The doctrine known as the Rapture teaches that believers will be taken up to heaven, while everyone else will remain on earth for a period of torment, concluding with the end of time. Camping believes that will happen in October.
    “If May 21 passes and I’m still here, that means I wasn’t saved. Does that mean God’s word is inaccurate or untrue? Not at all,” Warden said.
    The belief that Christ will return to earth and bring an end to history has been a basic element of Christian belief since the first century. The Book of Revelation, which comes last in the New Testament, describes this conclusion in vivid language that has inspired Christians for centuries.
    But few churches are willing to set a date for the end of the world, heeding Jesus’ words in the gospels of Mark and Matthew that no one can know the day or hour it will happen. Predictions like Camping’s, though, aren’t new. One of the most famous in history was by the Baptist leader William Miller, who predicted the end for Oct. 22, 1844, which came to be known as the Great Disappointment among his followers, some of whom subsequently founded the Seventh Day Adventist church.
    “In the U.S., there is still a significant population, mostly Protestant, who look at the Bible as kind of a puzzle, and the puzzle is God’s word and it’s predicting when the end times will come,” said Catherine Wessinger, a professor at Loyola University in New Orleans who studies millennialism, the belief in pending apocalypse.
    “A lot of times these prophecies gain traction when difficulties are happening in society,” she said. “Right now, there’s a lot of insecurity, and this is a promise that says it’s not all random, it’s part of God’s plan.”
    Past predictions that failed to come true don’t have any bearing on the current calculation, believers maintain.
    “It would be like telling the Wright brothers that every other attempt to fly has failed, so you shouldn’t even try,” said Chris McCann, who works with eBible Fellowship, one of the groups spreading the message.
    For believers like McCann, theirs is actually a message of hope and compassion: God’s compassion for people, and the hope that there’s still time to be saved.
    That, ultimately, is what spurs on Exley, who said her beliefs have alienated her from most of her friends and family. Her hope is that not everyone who hears her message will mock it, and that even people who dismiss her now might still come to believe.
    “If you still want to say we’re crazy, go ahead,” she said. “But it doesn’t hurt to look into it.”
  25. Anyone know about the HAARP site. Read it and what it can do. So many unaware of it’s power. Very capable of creating natural disasters and it’s been used to this day in controlling our weather. It is capable of creating a protective shield around the earth also to protect it in the event of nuclear warfare. Can control mind thoughts. Many things. Rumors are that it will be used d uring NWO. Just saying, just a thought. New election coming too.
    I’ve been looking into all of this and ran into so many things. Although no one is to know when the end is near via scriptures and to be aware of false prophets. It can all be induced by others to gain power. I see that happening.
    This HAARP place in Alaska has capabilites to knock earth off axis also via inducing other disasters to occur. It can create earth quakes too by-the-way.
    Food for thought.
  26. PS – also Haiti isn’t talked of much. I always wondered why the hurricanes hit that area alot and wipe people out. Pure gold “Maybe the Monoatomic type” and plenty of oil found there. If monoatomic type gold it has many powerful benefits. Also, military tanks being shipped via rail down south somewhere unknown and some went north – rumors on that is for NWO. Research it all under YouTube and it will open your mind to it all. That is how I was able to put two-n-two together. Now I am just sitting back to watch what happens.
  27. There are from research large US military bases in Haiti – hmmmm.
    Monoatomic gold makes one younger and stronger, capable of letting one know when another is lying, makes one smatter, etc.
  28. Now put on top of all that – a person will rise to take power of all nations, a nation will rise to be in power of all nations.
  29. Scary, something I wasn’t ready for in my time. Been praying alot in these days.
  30. Amen Marianne.
  31. The true wicked here are the YouTube idiots who make up all this crap in contrary to the laws of physics.
    And the true pity is that they actually get unsuspecting people to believe them.
    Amen to that!
  32. (iyyar 11, 5,770)For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; (40×24)=960
    And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth
    And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
    11In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the SECOND MONTH, the SEVENTEENTH day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
    And the flood was forty days upon the earth (40×7)=280
    Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; (15×19)up (15×19) down waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days. (150)
    280+285+285+150=1,000
    the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month…6 months=180 plus 17 days=197.
    And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen. 9 complete months= 270 270-197= 73 DAYS
    See *** below 57 days and 73 days… We are in the year 5,773!
    And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the firstday of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.14And in the SECOND MONTH, on the SEVEN and TWENTIETH day of the month, was the earth dried. *** 2nd month 27th day= 57th DAY
    versus before show day counting as 7 (sending out of ravens and doves). 601st year and (57×7)=399 601+399=1,000
    Noah went into the ark at 600 came out at 601… or 600 plus a year…or 600 plus 360=960. Getting late time for bed it is 9:59. Oh wait now it is 10:00 or 960. The tenth hour is 960 days. There is a day that is 1,000 days into overtime (from Nisan 1 5,770) that is also 960 days from Noah (april 25th 2,010…iyar11). It is the 25th of Kislev (Hannukah). 10th hour is same as 40 days and 40 nights(40×24). Where dwellest thou? Come and see.
    This day is also 864 days from the 3rd/4th day of the Benjamite wedding that starts on AV15. 864 is 6 waterpots containing 144 pints each (3 times 48, or 2 times 72). This festival ends on the 3rd of tevet…David had an appointment with Jonathan on the 3rd day (1st Samuel 20).
    Hannukah marks the end of the olive harvest!
  33. The answer is… In Daniel chapter nine. There a period of time stated being 62 and a shabuwa (7). Count from the commandment to restore Jerusalem 62 years=2009. Then the man of intrigue will appear, but only because the restraining power of the church is lifted. 2Thess tells us this, that the man of sin is revealed after the church is apostate. He appears in 2009 and confirmed a preexiststing covenant . It is not the same covenant that is called the holy covenant in Daniel. That holy covenant is found in Jerimiah chapter 25. So who does Isreal belong to? Specifically Jerusalem?
    The appointed time is at the end when our Lord returns for the dead in Christ and the ones who have oil immediately after the dead rise first.
    Note that there is a count of days between the feast of trumpets (the fifth feast) and Yom Turuh ( the sixth feast) . This why the two witnesses raise to their feet and ascend into the heavens, along with those who believe and are alive and remain at his coming. So Israel sees the rapture of the dead and repents right then and is raised with those saints who are alive at His coming.
    Leviticus 23 tells the story.
    • john
      good thoughts!
    • DAN 9:
      25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
      26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
      Daniel spoke of the command to “restore and rebuild“ the Jerusalem of old Israel, not to restore Jerusalem in 1948. The Jews didn’t take control of Jerusalem until 1967 and no command was give to rebuild it on either dates.
      And he refers to the coming of Christ, the messiah, not some antichrist figure. He describes the crucifixion (he shall be cut off) and the destruction of Jerusalem and the 2nd temple in 70AD by the Roman prince (general) which is now history, not prophecy.
      You say the antichrist appeared 5 years ago and confirmed on existing covenant. That should put us well into the tribulation, and by now every Christian on earth should be aware of his presence. And yet there is virtually no buzz on the topic.
      So who is the man, what was the covenant and why haven’t there been any other end-time signs this late into the tribulation?
      • Hi Jim,
        The command to restore Jerusalem happened on November 29′ 1947. It is resolution 181 by the U.N.
        In it has three mandates. You will notice that one of them has never been completed.
        I am an instructor for Damata Bible school in Belize, amongst other things I teach escathatalogy. I have written a book called Prophecy Hidden in Plain Sight. This book explains the basic detail of the counting of time in the Bible. Sir Isaac Newton spent his life trying to figure this out, and wrote a book himself about the subject. I think you will be amazed at just how simple it is solved.
        My second book is the Man of Intrigue which further explains the counting of time and the prophetic event schedule.
        You see many people listen to false prophets and their parroting telephone game prophesing. The truth always is found in scripture where there are no antimonys. There are prophecies that are duplicit.
        They appear to fulfil the prophecy but not in it’s intended time frame.
        The answer is simple, I do not do all your thinking. I will simply give you some key information and you must search out the matter. True people of the king will do this and never be satisfied until they have the confirmation of the Holy Spirit.
        I could ask you a few questions concerning your though that we are in the tribulation or half way through it, but I won’t. I will simply tell you that you have been listening to the wrong telephone game.
        You want the truth go read Daniel chapter eleven and thirty one through to the end of chapter twelve. Read what Jesus said in Matt 24 concerning what Daniel said. The tribulation is not 3 1/2 years long.
        Simple math for Christians…. 1947+tender years of a man=? +
        Seven sets of shabuwa(7+7+7+7+7+7)=? +shabuwa+7=?
        It’s God’s book not man’s, it is His Counting of time on His Calendar.
        There is a tribulation, Marriane knows this as I and you. She and I know it is in Jerusalem and those in Judea will flee. The proof in this prophecy is in Daniel eleven and twelve. If you really can’t find it then ask me and I will tell you. But as good teacher once said I can tell you but it will never be as real to you unless you discover it for your self.
        • john
          just a note.
          1947 + 49 = 1996, which is past now.
          look in zechariaah 1, the 4 horses are wandering around for what seems like 70 years…so add 1947 + 70 = 2017?
          there is a final week, and jacob’s trouble is a time, times and half a time, which is 3 1/2 years…..
          to me jacob’s trouble is part of the final week, first or second half? well, it could be first half with the saved jews escaping at the end…or the second half, since Israel is still there, surrounded by armies at armageddon..but maybe just the unsaved jews are left there.
          there is a tribulation where saints are present ( seals, rev 6, and matt 24)….which is followed by the wrath of god. ( revelation, trumpets and vials)
          as far as timing, we know it will be cut short, for sake of the elect….so that adds a nebulous component to it…how short?
          • The tenders years of a man are until he is twenty. Jesus is telling us that when Israel :the fig tree! Puts forth leaves it will be twenty years from the commandment to restore Jerusalem( yes Israel is a nation as well which fulfilled many other prophecies. 1967!
            Now check this out Israel gained back it’s land… Leviticus chapter 25. The fulfillment of the jubilee decreed by God.
            They got their land back and completed the 119 jubilee. How do we know this? Because Genesis chapter 6 tells us right from Gods mouth to our eyes. The Lord said:” I will not strive with man for more than a hundred twenty years. So I ask is God still striving with men on earth? Yes what was this time he mentions? It wasn’t Noah building the ark, simply because it only took a hundred years. He began it when the boys were born and he was 500. He entered the ark at 602.
            The time frame is God years= 50 years. A thousand years with The Lord is as a day and day as a thousand years. 6 days shall man labor and on the seventh day shall he rest. So the seventy years is twenty +\ – plus 49 years equaling the 62 +7 .
            Love you Marinne
  34. John,
    2009?
    On 09/09/09 (flip those numbers up-side down), he confirmed peace with many (UN). He received a prize (crown) for peace during Feasts of Tabernacles, 2009.
    BTW – the first, second and third seal are open. The son of perdition will be revealed very soon.
    This definition and explanation of Apostasy may be helpful.
    “The Greek noun apostasia (rebellion, abandonment, state of apostasy, defection) is found only twice in the New Testament (Acts 21:21; 2 Thessalonians 2:3). However, ‘the concept of apostasy is found throughout Scripture’.”
    “The Dictionary of Biblical Imagery states: ‘there are at least four distinct images in Scripture of the concept of apostasy’. All connote an intentional defection from the faith.”
    “These images are: Rebellion; Turning Away; Falling Away; Adultery.
    Rebellion: in classical literature apostasia was used to denote a coup or defection. By extension the Septuagint always uses it to portray a rebellion against God (Joshua 22:22; 2 Chronicles 29:19).”
    Turning away: Apostasy is also pictured as the heart turning away from God (Jeremiah 17:5-6) and righteousness (Ezekiel 3:20).
    In the OT it centers on Israel’s breaking covenant relationship with God though disobedience to the law (Jeremiah 2:19), especially following other gods (Judges 2:19) and practicing their immorality (Daniel 9:9-11). . . . Following the Lord or journeying with him is one of the chief images of faithfulness in the Scriptures. . . . The . . . Hebrew root (swr) is used to picture those who have turned away and ceased to follow God (‘I am grieved that I have made Saul king, because he has turned away from me,’ 1 Samuel 15:11). . . The image of turning away from the Lord, who is the rightful leader, and following behind false gods is the dominant image for apostasy in the OT.
    Falling away: The image of falling, with the sense of going to eternal destruction, is particularly evident in the New Testament. . . . In his [Christ’s] parable of the wise and foolish builder, in which the house built on sand falls with a crash in the midst of a storm (Matthew 7:24-27) . . . he painted a highly memorable image of the dangers of falling spiritually.
    Adultery: One of the most common images for apostasy in the Old Testament is adultery.
    Apostasy is symbolized as Israel the faithless spouse turning away from Yahweh her marriage partner to pursue the advances of other gods (Jeremiah 2:1-3; Ezekiel 16). . . ‘Your children have forsaken me and sworn by god that are not gods. I supplied all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of prostitutes’ (Jeremiah 5:7, NIV).
    Adultery is used most often to graphically name the horror of the betrayal and covenant breaking involved in idolatry. Like literal adultery it does include the idea of someone blinded by infatuation, in this case for an idol: ‘How I have been grieved by their adulterous hearts . . . which have lusted after their idols’ (Ezekiel 6:9).
    Speaking with specific regards to apostasy in Christianity, Michael Fink writes:
    ‘Apostasy is certainly a biblical concept, but the implications of the teaching have been hotly debated. The debate has centered on the issue of apostasy and salvation. Based on the concept of God’s sovereign grace, some hold that, though true believers may stray, they will never totally fall away. Others affirm that any who fall away were never really saved. Though they may have “believed” for a while, they never experienced regeneration. Still others argue that the biblical warnings against apostasy are real and that believers maintain the freedom, at least potentially, to reject God’s salvation’.”
    • DJ,
      So you are still on that Obama is the antichrist theme? A few years ago you were claiming that spring 2013 would be the halfway point in the tribulation and the mark of the beast would be implemented, etc. Clearly, Obama will still be president 2 years from now and not a world dictator antichrist as you claim. By now the 2 witnesses should have been preaching in Jerusalem for more than a year, yet there is no sign of them.
      At some point you will have to concede the folly of your ways. You’ve only got one year before the “Terrible day of the Lord” begins so there is an awful lot that must happen in the very near future if your idea is correct. I hope you aren’t going to guise the rest of Revelation in normal current events as you did when you claimed the greatest war since there was a nation (2nd seal) was the Arab spring. And what was it you claimed was the 4th seal (pestilences) bird flu in China? Maybe you should consider changing that to the recent ebola outbreak to seem more credible.
      In any case you will soon run out of rope and one more silly theory will bite the dust.
      Of course, this is just my humble opinion. 🙂
      • Hi Jim and DJ
        Nice word study DJ, but it is overthinking a bit. Simply apostasy is what the Apostle John saw when the angel showed him the people worshiping. The angel said why dost thou marvel this is the whore!
        Let us not be part of that. Right?
        So what are the fifty things that the man of sin does? Has the man done them?
        What does the Bible call this man? Why can’t people know who he is?
        Forget what you think you know and the men you admire so much that you off their plate of poop. Go to the Bible and read it for yourself.
        I know not everyone has the gift of prophecy, but If you have the Holy Spirit, ask Him to reveal the truth and don’t give up until he yells it to you. Believe God. The man of sin is already here and in power and done almost everything he is suppose to.
        He will appear exactly 1290 days from the sacrifice being stopped on March 20 2013. By the way that day is called the feast of trumpets… The harvest feast… Found in Leviticus 23 ! He is the same man that stopped the feast and the daily evening prayer when he appeared in Jerusalem. So then there will be something to look at, that will fulfill the prophecy and then great tribulation Dan 12:1…2….
        Get it!
        Sincerely JM
        • no sacrifices have started yet in jerusalem…no temple
          • They have been happening for ten years at the altar. On March 20 2013. The temple institute was refused the right to sacrifice the lamb at their annual Passover demonstration sacrifice. As well as the sacrifice being stopped, the daily prayer offering was also stopped at the wailing wall. Why? Both myself and a Jewish brother prophesied that on that very day in 2010 a certain man would appear there, and that this would happen. The prediction was based on scripture. The man of sin is already here and in power. Too many people confuse the false prophet for the “Antichcrist”. Yes he is antichrist.
            Remember it is not the whole world he forces to recieve the mark. It is in fact a region, nation, country or continent.
            • john
              that is not the same thing……the antichrist did not stop the sacrifices…
              http://www.jpost.com/Jewish-World/Jewish-News/Ban-on-Passover-sacrifice-gets-groups-goat-307028
              The groups have requested permission each year but were denied this time around following an unsuccessful exchange of letters with the Jerusalem Veterinary Services and the Agriculture Ministry.
              The case will be heard on Wednesday morning, with the Temple renewal groups hoping to be granted a permit in order to carry out its Passover sacrifice reenactment on Thursday afternoon at the Armon Hanatziv promenade overlooking the Old City and the Temple Mount.
              In addition, it noted that 15 permits for ritual sacrifice were granted by the Ministry for Agriculture in 2010 for 522 head of sheep, all of which were approved.
              The association was first refused a permit by the Jerusalem Veterinary Services, which said that permission was first required from the Veterinary Service of the Agriculture Ministry. The ministry in turn said it required a permit from the Jerusalem Veterinary Services.
              Since the initial refusal, the association received a letter from the Agriculture Ministry explaining that a permit was refused because the slaughter was also performed as a public event, which entailed cruelty to animals, and so a permit was needed from the commissioner for the Law Against Animal Cruelty.
              The district court and the High Court of Justice have previously upheld the right to perform ritual slaughter and sacrificial ceremonies.
              • Yes what you say is true, but it does not change the fact that it took place. Whether or not we agree that this is the fulfillment is not the acid test. The proof is does this fit every aspect of the prophecy in the correct time farm. And does it fit into every prophecy scripture tells us about the man, the time frame, and is it hidden to the wicked.
                The final test will obviously be on September 2, 2016 exactly 1290 from that date. He the false prophet will be there and break the holy covenant, by put in place the abomination of destruction. Then great tribulation will happen in Judea. Prior to this the will be a war. I believe that the war is going to happen sometime after the fall feasts of 2015, because The Lord tells us to plant a garden and he will give us an abundance that will last through the 49 the year and the jubilee year. Till the stores are gone. Then we will eat of the new.
                Blessings and love towards you both.
                JM and Veronica
                P.S. I would post my books but only have a tablet with email copies right now. If you would like a copy of the man of intrigue. Email me
            • Wait, are you claiming that Netanyahu is the Antichrist? Where have we heard that one before…
              Just what can we expect to happen during his evil reign? Paint us a quick picture of some future events you are predicting he will be involved in.
              From scripture, of course.
              • No he is not the false prophet. Why do you folks call him that? The Bible does not refer to him as the Antichrist.
                This is interesting I tell you that I can explain all of it in less than 100 pages . I offer it to you free, and you don’t care enough to read it. There can be only a few reasons for this. The cup is full, or you think you know. Isn’t this your opportunity to either know the truth or bring me correction in love because I am deceived. If you love me wouldn’t you tell me? But the real concern is that you speak before you listen. I may be off, or I may be absolutely correct. But you decide without reading?
                If I didn’t love you with Gods love I wouldn’t reply. I don’t get paid. I don’t get accolades. So why am I trying to reveal what God has shown me?
                • I agree that there is no antichrist, only the beast kingdom and the False Prophet. But so few people realize this I use the term antichrist to avoid confusion.
                  So where is the link to the 100 pages? I read everything I can find on prophecy and I still keep an open mind in case I discover a few gems among the junk.
                  I’ll be glad to check it out and give you my opinion.
  35. John Michael,
    You are in Belize?
    Sailed a week about the Keys, Lighthouse Reef and snorkeled around the Blue Hole. Beautiful white sandy beaches.
    Have you evaluated this presentation?
    http://danielstimeline.com/lordsfeast.htm
    Also – you should watch Jonathan Kleck.
    We are in agreement – Day of Atonement 2017 is a 25 hour Feast Day. We don’t know the day or the hour. The next Jubilee (Leviticus 25:9) begins after that Feast.
    Blessings
    Psalm 27
    • Yes I am in Belize. Yes I know Dewey. He made a mistake in his presentation. From the sacrifice to the abomination is 1290 days.
      Bless you.
    • The reason we don’t know the day or hour is simple and there is more than one reason. The first reason is that the two witnesses standing on the mount in Jerusalem waiting for the sign of the new moon, so that they can blow the shofar and begin the feast of trumpets, will not be able to see it.
      When the sign of the new moon does not appear, they cannot begin the feast and the counting days to the feast of atonement.
      What most people read is the new versions of the bible. They are not translations. Meaning word for word translations. In some languages we cannot translate word for word simply because they do not have a word for it.
      Jesus said in Revelation 3:3 in the king James/Authorized Version. Something that would appear to contradict the statement in Matt 24 where no man knows the day or hour.
      I have explained the reason why no man no knows from the physical fact that the sun goes dark and the moon won’t show her light. From the Jewish perspective the feast of trumpets and the Sukkoth are both days that no man can know. These have been referred to the day that no man can know before hand. Yes the people know that the day is in the calendar and that they will happen but no one knows exactly until the new moon is seen, and the shofar is blown. I believe that Jesus was speaking in a parable here so that only his people will know the approximate timing.
      The actual counting of time In scripture has fascinated people for centuries. The key is simply the fulfillment of one passage in Daniel chapter nine. Not the restoration of Israel as you know. Sir Isaac Newton could not calculate this because he did not live In this time.
      When Daniel writes what the angel said in chapter 12. That he was to seal up the vision to the “time ” of the end, did not mean forever. It meant “till” the time of the end. The Holy Spirit unlocks the visions for us in the end (the last shabuwa). I do not believe that the new bibles say the same things in prophecy as the KJV/AV. Compare them for yourself.
      The visions are not unlocked for the unbelieving lest the truth be revealed to the wicked.
      Remember what Paul tells us in 2 Thessalonians chapter two. All those who loved not the truth are sent strong delusions to believe a lie.
      In Christ’s love JM
      Belizez@yahoo.com if you want the books. We should be able to discuss these things here in an open forum. We should all be up to speed on what scripture points out.
  36. Don’t need the Temple to be built.
  37. James,
    As for 2013 – I’ll admit that what I expected to occur did not occur as expected.
    I also didn’t expect U Conn to win the NCAA Men’s Basketball title last year.
    But, you still think two jets flew into the Twin Towers and one jet flew into the Pentagon on 9/11.
    Wake up James.
    You apply your logic to a world system run by The Beast (6-6-6).
    “To acquire knowledge, one must study;
    but to acquire wisdom, one must observe.”
    Marilyn Vos Savant.
    James, please observe. But, I don’t think you will to observe.
    The Twin Towers were destroyed faster than physics can explain by a free fall speed “collapse.”
    They underwent mid-air pulverization, turning into dust before they hit the ground.
    James, just look at the pictures in this link below. You don’t even need to read any commentary, then calling someone ignorant.
    http://www.drjudywood.com/wtc/#scottpaks
    What was built 12 years later on the site of the Twin Towers?
    The One World Freedom Tower (Babel).
    Yes – Barry is the son of perdition.
    In the near future Barry may have something in common with JFK and Lincoln (Rev. 13:3). The Masons (“all seeing eye of Horus”) like playing with numbers (3) and playing with history.
    Blessings
    • These so-called “proofs” that Obama is the antichrist are simply ludicrous. I have seen similar arguments using similar leaps of logic that proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the world would end on Dec. 21, 2012. And don’t get me started on Nibiru which has been predicted to arrive almost every year since 1982.
      To claim that the World Trade towers were originally designed and built by tens of thousands of people just so they could be knocked down 20 years later by a couple of planes, and that the U.S. Government was in on the destruction is just insane. Pure conspiracy theory. Why not add some space aliens just to make the whole thing more believable?
      And whoever came up with the idea that Muslims will hail him as their Mahdi doesn’t understand the Koran. The Muslims believe their Mahdi, or 12th imam, will rise from a well in Iran and that Jesus will be resurrected at that time and between the two of them they will convert the world to Islam and kill all the infidels. What Christians believe will happen in the tribulation is nothing like what Muslims believe. If the tribulation goes down the way you believe, Muslims will not recognize it as such and they will have nothing to do with Obama. And if the koran is correct, Christians will not recognize it either and they will never believe that it is the work of God.
      So your whole concept goes down in flames. But you will never convince me in any case since I only believe that the beast kingdom (Vatican), the False Prophet (man of sin – the pope) and Satan are part of the prophecy. So you can stick any face on the antichrist you want and I still won’t believe it. No matter how much “proof” you can conjure up.
      • little note
        the sunnis and the shiites (iran) have different versions of the mahdi
      • Proverbs tells us that if a man speaks before he listens it shame and folly. Brother if you email me I’ll send the books. There always free.
        Belizez@yahoo. That goes for anyone else as well.
        JM
      • Jim
        I often have to defend what I say, so I am careful to only write and speak things the bible clearly tells all who read it. I don’t mix poop with my pudding. Nor do listen to other men’s prophecies except to judge wether they be of God or man.
        Pray about what I am telling you. Forget what you think you know. I can prove out every word I am speaking. Can you do that? Is what your saying in scripture?
        Build not on another mans foundation, unless it be our Lords words.
  38. John Michael and Marianne,
    “According to many of the sages, the time immediately preceding the appearance of the Messiah will be a time of testing (nisayon) in which the world will undergo various forms of tribulation, called chevlei Mashiach (חֶבְלֵי הַמָּשִׁיחַ) – the “birth pangs of the Messiah” (Sanhedrin 98a; Ketubot, Bereshit Rabbah 42:4, Matt. 24:8).
    Some say the birth pangs are to last for 70 years, with the last 7 years being the most intense period of tribulation — called the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble” / עֵת־צָרָה הִיא לְיַעֲקב (Jer. 30:7).
    The climax of the Great Tribulation is called the great “Day of the LORD” (יוֹם־יהוה הַגָּדוֹל) which represents God’s wrath poured out upon a rebellious world system.
    On this fateful day, the LORD will terribly shake the entire earth (Isa. 2:19) and worldwide catastrophes will occur. “For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?” (Rev. 6:17). The prophet Malachi likewise says: “‘Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and that day that is coming will set them on fire,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘Not a root or a branch will be left to them'” (Mal. 4:1).
    Only after the nations of the world have been judged will the Messianic kingdom (מַלְכוּת הָאֱלהִים) be established upon the earth. The remnant of Israel will be saved and the 1000 year reign of King Messiah will then commence” (Rev. 20:4) – John Parsons, Hebrew for Christians.
  39. John Michael,
    Thanks for sending me your 100 page treatise. I did read the whole thing, but I’m far from convinced that what you propose is even close to correct.
    The truth is that the 70 weeks of Daniel were completed in 34 A.D.
    Once you understand the true purpose of the prophecy it all becomes clear:
    .
    Daniel 9:
    24Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
    Remember the circumstances of that time; The Jews were still in the 70 years of captivity – God’s punishment for their sins from the time of Jeremiah. With the 70 years coming to an end it was time for the Jews to return to Jerusalem and to rebuild the temple along with the city. This they did. Then it says they must make reconciliation for their former sins and prove to God they are once again worthy to be His people. Then to finish the prophecy (seal it) they must annoint the Holy one (Jesus) and accept Him as their Messiah.
    .
    25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
    This verse claims that the time from the order to rebuild the city will be 69 weeks (of years) or 483 years. According to Ezra 7 this command was given in 457 BC and ended in 27 AD – the exact years Christ was anointed by John the Baptist. This was the beginning of His 7 year ministry which was to continue until 34AD.
    26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
    Clearly this refers to the death and sacrifice of Jesus halfway thru His ministry. It is this event that brings in everlasting righteousness mentioned earlier.
    27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
    Here it clarifies what Jesus would do. He would confirm the “Covenant with many.” So what does this mean? As you agree, the covenant was already in existence at the time. So what covenant could this refer to? The only one that is logical is the covenant that God made with Abraham. Now here is the Son of God come down to earth to confirm that God’s covenant is still intact and that the New Covenant will also include their Messiah. It also nails down exactly when in the 70th week the messiah would be cut off. After that, the Jews are given 3-1/2 more years to accept Jesus or lose their status as the true church. They chose poorly. With the stoning of Steven in 34AD the gospel was no longer preached only to the Jews, and the Apostles went forth to preach to the gentiles, and so Christianity was born.
    The verse also indicates that after the death of Messiah, the sacrifices should stop – ended by the Lamb of God.
    It also alludes to the fact that the temple would be destroyed (70AD) and that the temple in Jerusalem will remain desolate, even if rebuilt, lacking the presence of God, until the end of time. (Mat 23:38-39, Luke 13:35)
    .
    All of this actually happened. And the prophecy cannot be dual as Jesus can only die once. And there is no mention of an antichrist. Only the messiah.
    And here is the big problem I have with your modern-day interpretation… it is far too complicated. You had to go thru endless explanations of translatiions, time frames, historical events, numerology and so on. It took you 100 pages to prove your point, and yet it still makes no sense. You claim Obama is the antichrist and we are less than 3 years from the second coming. That would put us in the second half of the bogus 7 year tribulation, yet the two witnesses have yet to appear dressed in sack cloth in Jerusalem yet. They are late. And Obama is looking NOTHING like an antichrist. He attends a Christian church regularly, and shows no indication that he is a practicing Muslim. He will still be president when Christ returns according to your time frame so how and when do think he will step down to take over the job of antichrist? When will that job become available? Do you know how silly that idea sounds?
    I’m a scientist and engineer and when it comes to scientific theories there is a general rule: The simplest explanation is usually correct. I can’t imagine that God would make His prophecy so complicated that only a few people on earth would ever understand it. Sorry, but I’m still not buying into your treatise. It defies simple logic, makes too many assumptions and leaves out most of the verses that don’t fit your ideas.
    I predict that your concept will fall apart within the next year.
    Same for D.J.
    Bless
    • Your assuming that there is one covenant. The covenant he confirms does not have to be with Israel. The holy covenant in Daniel has to do with Israel, and it is probably the one we all assume it is concerning the land in Jerusalem. Remember Jerimiah 25 tells us who the land really belongs to. When they place the ark of Hope on the mount in September 2016 we will know that it is all fulfilled as written.
      Resolution 181 of the U.N. Simply states they have a right to place a person as governor over Jerusalem: Daniel chapter 11 tells us that ” He the false Prophet” sets up his tabernacle between the seas and the Holy mountain. The same man who stopped the sacrifice will place the abomination 1290 days later on the mount. We will see.
      In Christ’s love JM
      • I am assuming that the covenant was the most important one God ever made and the one He sent His son to confirm. This is what the scripture actually says – anoint the most holy, messiah shall be cut off after 3-1/2 years of confirming the covenant to many.
        We all learned these facts in bible class. So why would be want to assume that God is not referring to these events, which close the 70 weeks on time, and go looking for some other events to happen 2000 years later?
        And notice that the other prophecies that Daniel spoke of all began in his own time. The statue ends with Christs return, but it begins in ancient Babylon. It seems silly for God to tell His people that 2,500 in the distant future he would challenge the Jews to reconcile for their ancient sins and bring in the messiah (who must die halfway thru his ministry) over a 70-year period. That kind of prophecy seems way out of context compared to anything else. Far-out interpretations will impress many people but whenever you add to the complication you simply make more assumptions and introduce more errors. Before you know it you end up with a 100-page treatise chock-full of holes and filled in with mistaken assumptions.
        I don’t believe God is the author of confusion, so I never go out of my way to ignore fulfilled prophecy and look for a new and more complex scenario to explain it.
        Just look at all bible prophecy that has been fulfilled. It is all now quite obvious, looking back on it. None of it requires a book bigger than the bible to explain it. I’m not sure how a modern Jew can explain away the life of Jesus in an attempt to “prove” it never happened and is still future prophecy, but I sure as hell don’t want to be guilty of doing the exact same sort of thing with the rest of the bible.
        More people should consider that before they jump into interpretations of denial.
  40. Hello Jim,
    I find that Occam’s razor always applies. How many time has The Lord used seventy years as a template? The declares that he shall show us the things to come from the things of old.
    If we find one verse in the Daniel passage that does not fit into the context of the perceived event, we must know that we missed something I the interpretation or our interpretation is possibly only partially correct. In some cases both.
    Does this passage of Daniel infer the end of time in any way?
    Do you agree that Jesus spoke of this time frame in Matthew twenty four ?
    Why does the 20 years of the youth of a man added to the Leviticus 25 jubilee bring us to the final shabuwa?
    Our perception is not the test. The Holy Spirit is the test. Do you believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit?
    Do you pray about these things you question?
    In Christ’s Love, JM
  41. First of all Daniel’s prophecy is for seventy weeks of years, not 70 years. TRYING TO FORCE CERTAIN BIBLICAL NUMBERS TO WORK HAS BEEN TRIED BEFORE AND ALL HAVE FAILED. 2017 won’t work because the two witnesses would be there now it was correct. Soon we will see theories adding more years to this like sevens or twenty or forty. Just wait and see.
    Jesus never referred to the prophecy of 70 weeks. He referred to a former “abomination” done by the Greeks in a similar fashion, just as he referred to the “Days of Noah” to describe a similarity to end time events, but he was not trying to say that the prophecy in Daniel had not yet happened.
    As far as the jubilee is concerned, I can find no consensus as to when it should be. The Jews don’t agree and they don’t celebrate it any more so it seems to be a moot point. And consider this, If it is necessary yhat Christ return on a jubilee years, then it would follow that he would have to have ascended to heaven on a jubilee year also. That would necessitate a time gap of 40 jubilees, or 2000 years, so if he rose in AD 31, then we should expect him back in 2031, not 2015 or 2018 etc.
    As for praying to the Holy Spirit for guidance, I believe we all do it, but none of us have met him in person and asked him directly, and I know hundreds of people and ministers who claim some sort of spiritual connection and yet… they all have different interpretations. So I can never trust anyone who claims to have a direct line to God. You just have to look back at the claims of TV evangelists over the last 100 years to prove just how wrong they all have been. And so far… every one of them have proved to be false prophets. So don’t get me started on that kind of nonsense.
    I think many people will be very disappointed in the next few years. Between the 70 year theory and the blood moon tetrad eclipses many are expecting the Second Coming in the next few years. I’m expecting a flurry of adjustments and clever tweaks to continue for years to come.
    Just wait and see…
    • hi jim..
      you are quoting me now….”wait and see” 🙂
      I think it wise to look at all possible dates…so we will not be unprepared.
      there are definitely things that have not happened yet….so that says something about the possible timeline, as you said.
      I am no hurry to see disaster come…I can wait until I die!
      god bless you
      • Marianne,
        You are definitely NOT a “wait and see” person. In fact, most of my arguments here are with people who rather than waiting for biblical signs have decided to take it unto themselves to compute the date of the Second Coming using all sorts of mathematical manipulations based on eclipses, U.N. Resolutions, Nobel prizes and so on.
        So they end up with a date and then they must fill in the time gap with bible Prophecy so they pick things out of the news and claim they are the fulfillment of God’s word. So things like the Arab Spring, the Haiti earthquake, bird flu, Hurricane Sandy etc, are all signs from God.
        Check most of your blogs… anytime there is some sort of disaster in the news it ends up as a topic here to discuss how it could be a sign from the bible. Even imaginary threats like Nibiru end up here as bile prophecy. You, my dear, definitely don’t want to “wait and see” but rather like to turn every news report into a sign of the end times. Of course we all can’t wait for Christ to return. Ever since He left, faithful Christians have dreamed of Him returning in their lifetimes, starting with the apostles. So we look for some sort of confirmation to give us hope that we are near the end time. Many people take this to the extreme as evidenced by this very web site.
        Now, I see many things in the news all the time that confirm that prophecy is being fulfilled right now. None of it is specifically referenced in the bible, but it all must happen before the actual prophecy can take place. I am patiently waiting for real biblical signs, but I’m not going to force current events to fit into the bible’s prophecy puzzle. I believe that when the end time signs occur, they will be of biblical proportions and there will be little doubt that they are signs from God.
        It will be interesting to see what the conversations will be like on this site at that time. Eventually we will all discover who was right and who was wrong, and then we will all be on the same page. No more arguments, no more theories.
        No more “let’s wait and see” who is correct.
        Can’t wait for that. 🙂
        • yes I am wait and see.
          I wait and see who is right.
          in the meantime, I let people express their ideas……
          most of what is happening now IS part of end times…but how to interpret each event is up for grabs, and how important is it, is also relevant.
          time is moving forward, not backward, so each news event fits in a a small way into a larger puzzle..
          the challenge is to stay informed, and think about what each thing means….
          I still see more evidence for nibiru than against it…the bible predicts wormwood, but it should not show up until Gods wrath starts….
          true christians should be here for the first 6 seals, but should leave at that time….we are not appointed unto wrath.
  42. Well, technically, we are all going to have to wait and see what happens. Nobody knows everything so we may all be surprised at some events or lack thereof.
    In fact, I think that most people believe in a scenario that will never happen and will continue to look for events that will forever elude them, Like Nibiru.
    Your statement, “I still see more evidence for nibiru than against it“ makes me chuckle. There is absolutely NO evidence that Nibiru exists. Only idiotic YouTube videos that somehow still convince some gullible people even though all the previous predictions of disaster have proved false.
    I told you over a year ago that any object in orbit around the sun and is between the earth and the sun would be well past the earth and out to space in less than 4 months, for certain. Yet, we have seen nothing. This means that every one of those thousands of YouTube videos was wrong. And that doesn’t bode well for all the rest.
    So you really can’t wait and see what wormwood will be. You are convinced that Nibiru is it and no amount of science and facts will convince you otherwise. It is a simple matter to disprove Nibiru yet you refuse to learn the truth and continue to call yourself a scientist. This tells me you, like many Christians, are so excited about Christ’s return that you crave confirmation so badly that you will latch onto any little morsel of information that might give you hope and believe it with all you heart. That can be a good thing if the information is correct, but to believe in a lie is just a fools errand and in the end will not please God and is not what He meant when He told us to look up and prepare for the return of Christ. He wants us to recognize true signs, not to make stuff up based on YouTube videos and other lies.
    So how long will you keep looking for Nibiru?
    I guess we will just have to wait and see… 🙂
    • I will keep looking for Wormwood
      • Well Jim here is what I do know.
        Everything I mention in the “treaties” is in the Bible. It isn’t there to give the Bible volume. Doubt in any form is still doubt. You don’t believe what the Bible says and even mock people who point out that there is a counting of time to the end. Sir Isaac Newton the science guy, spent his entire life on the subject. Are you putting him In this category?
        You say that “you see prophecy being fulfilled all the time, but is not in the Bible”. What prophecy is that?
        In the entire treaties I wrote the only thing you picked out was daniels seventy weeks. Your claim of that prophecy being past history is implausible. For the time mentioned does not match the prophecy completely. You see it is dual prophecy simply because 69 is not seventy. The 62 and 7 are a separate statement. In Daniel 11 and 12 Daniel tells us that the wise will understand , but the wicked shall not. This three and a half year period from the confirming of a covenant does not have to be about Israel. It is about the man of Intrigue, and what he does.
        People don’t think that what God said in Matthew is true. He said he would take it from Israel and give it to another nation. A nation of people’s tongues and kindreds.
        That is not to ever say that the Jewish people have been forsaken, they haven’t been. His promised is irrevocable and until the time of His return.
        The man of Intrigue, the man of Sin, the Son of perdition must be the leader of the most powerful nation on earth, and they must have the power over the riches of the world, amongst many more things list in the Bible! So why are they there Jim?
        I’ll answer that: So the saints of God who trust in His Word and the Holy Spirit will understand. There is so much on this subject that the “Christian church” is not teaching that the innocent new believers are being swallowed up in foolishness. Interesting to me that you had nothing to say about the rest of my “treaties”. Is that because it is what scripture says and there is no answer against The Lord?
        • amen
          69 weeks completed when christ cut off….one week to go
          • The word is not weeks. It is shabuwas having several meanings. It is the feast of weeks(pentacosts) or shavuots. It is also as you point out a heptad meaning seven years as found in Leviticus chapter 23.
            Yes Marriane let’s watch and see.
            Bless you.
          • Marianne,
            your math is terrible. Jesus was cut off in the midst of the week. That left 3-1/2 years in the prophecy.
            But most people don’t even understand the purpose of the prophecy. In fact, most people don’t even realize that the 70 weeks is not so much a prophecy than it is an ultimatum from God to the Jews to repent their sins, rebuild the temple and welcome the messiah. It does say the messiah will die halfway thru the last week, but beyond that point it predicts nothing! God gave the Jews 70 weeks to do these things and now Christians are giving them an extra 2000 years not authorized by God.
            So what exactly does the “prophecy” say will happen after Jesus died that hasn’t happened yet? How will we know when these things have been completed? Are you trying to combine a bunch of other unrelated prophecies into the 70 weeks? Why would you do that? Are you adding the seals of Revelation and Armageddon to it? What gives you the right to combine prophecies together? What’s next, changing the commandments? Oh wait, that’s already been done.
            Anyway, you do God a disservice when you add or take away from His word, and I would think twice before messing with an ultimatum from God to His people.
            Just sayin’
            • all prophecy is “related”
              re- read your bible
              25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks:
              that is 69 (..first .7…..then + 20×3=60 ….69 total) weeks to messiah
              26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off,
              that is after, the 20 x 3 =60 (69 total)
              it does not say after 69 and 1/2 weeks messiah will be cut off…..which means any time christ spent on earth was inside the 60 weeks because he was cut off at the end of them
              there is plenty jesus still has to fulfill…
              look around you
              do you see a world of peace?
              Is there universal knowledge of one G-d? (Jeremiah 31:33, Zechariah 8:23, 14:9, 14:16, Isaiah 11:9, Isaiah 40:5, Zephaniah 3:9)
              Were all Jews returned to Israel? (Isaiah 43:5-6, Isaiah 11:12, Isaiah 27:12-13)
              Did he bring physical restoration to all who are sick or disabled in any way? (Isaiah 35:5-6)
              Is the Egyptian river dry yet? (Isaiah 11:15)
              Do trees in Israel yield new fruit every month? (Ezekiel 47:12)
              Did each tribe receive it’s inheritance? (Ezekiel 47:13-14)
              Are the dead resurrected? (Isaiah 26:19, Daniel 12:2, Ezekiel 37:12-13)
              • Marianne
                You say
                Were all Jews returned to Israel? (Isaiah 43:5-6, Isaiah 11:12, Isaiah 27:12-13)
                I am stubborn on this. It does not say Jews. It says G-d children and it is the Hebrews. I still say that this verses includes Christian hebrews as well.
        • Here are a few notes on your rebuttal:
          First of all, Newton calculated around 20600 as the Second Coming date. Even you don’t agree with that time, so it doesn’t matter how smart you are or how many biblical numbers you crunch it doesn’t make you right.
          As for the covenant in question, if it was a minor covenant God would have specified it. Also, it is technically the NEW covenant, not just a regurgitating of the Old covenant. It is issued by the Messiah, so we automatically should understand that it is the New Covenant.
          Nowhere in this prophecy does it mention an antichrist, a man of sin, or a man of intrigue. Only the Messiah. And nowhere does it mention “in the latter days” or at the time of the end” or anything else to indicate that this prophecy is an end-time event. Everywhere else in Daniel there are references to end-time events, but NOT in the 70 weeks.
          Finally, you make another very common mistake when you claim, “The man of Intrigue, the man of Sin, the Son of perdition must be the leader of the most powerful nation on earth.”
          This man is not in control of just a kingdom (the 2nd beast of Revelation, but the most powerful apostate church (the woman that rides the beast). These entities are the Vatican and the pope. They control the majority of the Christian world. They are richer than any country and are worldwide in scope. God does not care about countries in particular. He cares about His people, now the Catholic church primarily, and will punish them just as He did the Jews when He sent them to Babylon for 70 years.
          And riddle me this, why would God wait 2,500 years to test the repentance of the ancient Jews and to anoint the messiah who was already anointed 2000 years ago? Your whole concept is so flawed that there is no sense in responding to anything else but the truth of the 70 weeks. If your initial premise is wrong, then anything else you say is of little use. So there is no need for me to write my own 100 page rebuttal to your premise. It would be faster to just wait until you are proven false.
          And so we wait…
          • not all the prophecy is in one chapter of daniel…look at other chapters…we know things came to a stop after christ…..and jacob’s trouble has not happened yet.
            jesus was only baptised when he was here…. he was not anointed king…so that still has to happen
            • His baptism WAS the anointing. “Christ” means the “anointed one” so are you saying Jesus was not the Christ? He was anointed by John the Baptist in the presence of the Holy Spirit and God the father.
              He is yet to be appointed to rule the new kingdom on earth and while the two words sound similar (in English) they don’t mean the same thing biblically.
              Also, how do you explain that if Jesus is anointed in the future, he must be cut off halfway thru the week. And if the week starts before the Second Coming how can He take His throne 7 years before He returns?
              The 70 weeks is not related to the statue or the beasts. Neither is the lions den or the furnace. You just can’t mix and match verses from different chapters and try to come up with some sort of hybrid prophecy.
              You also can’t go around changing God’s time frames. 70 weeks is 70 weeks. 3 days and 3 nights is what it says, not 36 hours. 3-1/2 years is just that as is 40 years and 70 years. Why is it that nobody tries to change all the other time periods in the bible yet they freely ignore the 70 weeks and extend it indefinitely?
              And what is the point? There is no further prophecy mentioned in the 70 weeks. It is all based on other prophecies which ARE end-time events. The only thing you can get out of it is a 7-year time frame so you can hopefully predict the Second Coming 7 years before it happens. And yet all attempts to do this to date have failed.
              When it comes to predicting the return of Christ over the last 200 years the score is atheists: 500, Christians: 0. How come atheists know more about the Second Coming than bible reading Christians? We need to think about that before we commit to dates here. Otherwise we become just one more of the False Prophets Jesus spoke of and warned against.
              None of us want to be one of the foolish virgins who are unprepared for the Second Coming, but how much more foolish are we if we are preparing for something that is never going to happen?
              People are waiting for a One-World Government, One world Currency, chips in the hands, a peace treaty, and Islamic world dictator and a magical rapture to take us all away. These people are in for a big shock and utter disappointment. They will make the fools look like rocket scientists.
              I am just cautioning people to look before they leap. Jumping into the latest popular theories without scrutinizing them completely and logically (use your mind and not your emotions) is generally a fools errand.
              Time will tell.
              • James
                You are wrong when you say that Yochanan the tevilah anoited Yehoshua. He used water and you can not be anoited with water. Magdalena emtied a bottle of oil over Yehoshuas head so it Was Magdalena who anoited Yehoshua.
              • jim
                anointing is always done with oil, not water.
                the Father will anoint his Son as King for the Messianic kingdom.
                I already explained this….jesus was cut off at the END of the 69th week, in line with Daniel…..he was NOT supposed to be cut of in the middle of any week…..re read my comment and Daniel
                there is one last week (7 years), and the 3 1/2 years is part of that week …a preliminary period, then tribulation, followed by wrath of god
  43. Annointing does not require oil. Even though the practice was common in the Old Testament.
    Below are excerpts from several bible study web sites:
    …………………………………….
    Another meaning for the word anointed is “chosen one.” The Bible says that Jesus Christ was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit to spread the Good News and free those who have been held captive by sin (Luke 4:18-19; Acts 10:38). After Christ left the earth, He gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit (John 14:16). Now all Christians are anointed, chosen for a specific purpose in furthering God’s Kingdom (1 John 2:20). “Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee” (2 Corinthians 1:21-22).
    Jesus, reading from another Messianic prophecy in Isaiah, said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me….” What had the Spirit anointed Him to do? “To preach the gospel to the poor…heal the brokenhearted…preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind…set at liberty them that are bruised…” (see Luke 4:18-19). Jesus had the burden-removing, yoke-destroying power of Almighty God all over Him.
    The anointing is God’s presence by the Holy Spirit. The anointing on Jesus was by the Holy Spirit (see Luke 4:18; Acts 10:38). The anointing we have received from Jesus is by the Holy Spirit. (Compare I John 2:20, 26-27; John 14:26.) The anointing is God’s Spirit and power for service in this earth. Jesus has provided the same presence of the Holy Spirit for us in our earthly ministries that He had in His earthly ministry!
    If you’re “in Christ,” there’s an anointing for everything you’re called to do, no matter how small or how great the task. That’s what the Apostle Paul meant when he said, “I can do all things through Christ (the Anointed and His Anointing) which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13). Notice that he didn’t say “who strengtheneth me” but “which strengtheneth me.” He was talking about the anointing. The same anointing that enabled you to be born again will heal your body, help you succeed in business, and empower you to prosper spirit, soul, body and in every aspect of your life. (See Luke 5:20-24.)
    ……………………………………….
    So,
    The anointing is God’s presence by the Holy Spirit. The anointing on Jesus was by the Holy Spirit (see Luke 4:18; Acts 10:38). Clearly it was John the Baptist and not Mary Magdalen and the time frame is the ens of the 69th week/start of the 70th week and Jesus’ 7-year ministry which was cut off halfway thru.
    Otherwise what dos “in the midst of” refer to? The middle of the 69th week or the middle of the 70th? Either way there is week you have left unaccounted for.
    Dan 9:27 ;And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease…”
    Confirming the covenant means teach the gospel, starting with his baptism or confirmation as rabbi. This week is not parts of two other weeks but a separate week unto itself. If you do the math, the 70th week starts in 27 AD – the year of His baptism and when He turned 30. It clearly states “in the midst of the week“ not the end of a week. It was His death that caused the sacrifices to cease, and that happened in 31AD – 3-1/2 years from His anointing.
    So confirm to me that you don’t believe Jesus was ever anointed as the messiah and that his confirmation as the “Most Holy” won’t happen until He takes His throne some time in the near future.
    If so you are in effect rejecting Jesus just as the Jews did in the 70th week. All in order to try to prop up a false prophecy dreamed up by a modern day writer and spread by people who read popular books rather than the bible, then try to make the bible fit the books.
    Add to that creating prophecy from YouTube videos that are completely false and you end up with a ridiculous end-time scenario that will simply never happen.
    You know, I believed in the “Left Behind” scenario for many years. Most all of the things you talk about here. I figured it war so commonly believed that it must be true, then I read about 100 books on prophecy from a variety of sources and slowly but surely I realized the story did not align with scripture. A verse here and there maybe, but the rest was built on illogical assumptions and some stuff that was simply made up out of thin air.
    Thankfully I kept an open mind and analyzed all claims carefully and logically and weighed the pros and cons of every theory until I was able to reject everything that was not perfectly supported by history and the bible.
    But today many people are stiff-necked and refuse to consider anything other than that which they already believe. No amount of proof will ever change their minds. Only time will prove them wrong.
    So lets all wait a while and see what happens…
    • ok but he obviously is coming back to take care of unfinished business
      • Marianne and all,
        His unfinished business is what He did not read from Isaiah on that Sabbath day in the synagogue. The words that He read from Isaiah were fulfilled their hearing (Luke 4:18-20).
        “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
        because the Lord has anointed me
        to bring good news to the poor;
        he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
        to proclaim liberty to the captives,
        and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
        to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor,”
        He left off the reading of that particular passage (Isaiah 61:1-2) in mid-sentence because the next words would not be fulfilled until His return.
        The unfinished business, which is yet to be fulfilled is this – “and the time when our God will punish evil people [day of vengeance of our God]” (Isaiah 61:2).
        His business after God punishes evil people (aka, The Great Day of the LORD) includes:
        “to comfort all who mourn;
        to grant to those who mourn in Zion—
        to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
        the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
        the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
        that they may be called oaks of righteousness,
        the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
        They shall build up the ancient ruins;
        they shall raise up the former devastations;
        they shall repair the ruined cities,
        the devastations of many generations” (Isaiah 61: 3-4, ESV).
        There is going to be a lot of work to do under His leadership as King of kings and Lord of lords.
        Blessings
        Rev. 12:11
      Ok. We dont know if Yochanan had oil when he baptised Yehoshua but for doubters that requires proof, Magdalena emptied a bottle of oil over his head. The Church that the disciples started in Acts, gave info that when you baptize you must have oil in the water because the oil symbolizes Yehoshuas blod and his blood is holy because he was concieved from the Holy Spirit. Yehoshua is also the last lamb sacrifice and only lamb blood on the altar forgives sins acording to the Bible until the Church started with confession. Water can not forgive sins but oil forgives because it symbolizes his blood and his blood is holy. The disciples left over info to the Church that we shall baptize with oil otherwise you are not baptized. The Orthodox and Catholic Church baptizes with oil but protestants do not because protestants are the devils work and he wants to decieve people. You are walking around and think you are a Cristhian but you are not until you are baptized in a Church that is created by the disciples. Protestants are not from the disciples but from an antisemetic german evil racist.
  44. Remember Jim love never fails! People are never false, their assumptions and theories maybe. I’m sure that was your assertion.
    Newton couldn’t understand it because it is as the word says : sealed up till the time of the end. He would have had to see the correlation between Matt 24 and Daniel 9 and 11,12 to count the numerous statements made by The Lord in His Word concerning the end.
    I’m sure you learned nothing from what I wrote.
    • There is a difference between believing in false prophesy and being a false prophet. If you create your own interpretation, publish it and distribute it to others then technically you are a false prophet, but not intentionally. Jesus said there would be many false prophets before His return but He never specified whether they were evil people trying to deceive the faithful or people who were misinformed and simply passed the information on to others. So the term “False Prophet” does not necessarily indicate malice. In fact most faithful and devoted Christians do not understand prophecy. But will that matter to God? Actually it may. As we know, the world will follow the beast and most Christians will take the mark of the beast. Only a small remnant of the true church will avoid it.
      So if false prophecy leads people to a false mark and they fail to recognize the real mark, then they will be punished by the 7 last plagues.
      The only thing I learned from your treatise is that you have a wild imagination. I did not learn any new truths about the bible of its prophecy.
      Just curious… exactly what do you predict the mark of the beast to be? After all it is the one piece of prophecy that we must understand or be cursed by the plagues.
      Just curious…
  45. I don’t understand much of your science but am a Watchman and have a strong inclination to significance both personal and national 2016 in the 4th month. I am rarely on these talk blogs and came across yours trying to get light on my own personal appointed time of mercy and restoration that seems to need to take place soon or I have really missed God’d trail of breadcrumbs and word which is not a light thing to me. You have my email and permission to communicate if led to do so. Shalom. Craig
      I think one thing science shows here is that it cannot calculate God. 🙂
      We strive to know and understand the times, yet we still fail.
      we know things are bad, but we cannot predict a breaking point where all is changed.
      God is on the throne, and he still rules.
      so we do our best, and keep watching and thinking.
    • Craig,
      Thank you for your reply/comment. It is an encouragement to me because I can relate.
      I’m expecting the appointment time to be the month of Abib (Nisan) when reading James 5:7-8 and Joel 2:21-24.
      The bread crumbs along my path that includes the Word, dreams/visions in 2010 through 2011 and some Devine appointments led me to think “the appointed time” was to begin a few years ago. Patients was an issue for me.
      In Abib (Nisan) 2013, I had very high expectations the appointed time would occur.
      During the weeks before Abib 2014 and 2015 – I was much more quiet and reflective.
      Hebrew year 5776 seems to be the year. 5776 begins September 15th.
      When the appointed time does occur – it looks to be an urgent and a very efficient use of time and talents (Joel 2:1-11).
      Blessings
      Psalm 33
