The Garden of Eden and the “Pit” – Tioran land drift theory

Where was the Garden of Eden? Where is the “Pit” many people consider the entrance to hell? An alternative view based on continental drift and fault lines.

Every discussion we seem to hear about the Garden of Eden follows similar logic. People assume the land masses and formations we see today are the same ones as those at creation. They are not taking into consideration the movement of tectonic plates and continental drift.

If we examine the fault lines and patterns of shifts for land masses, we can put together a puzzle that is worthy of study. Also, we need to look past just the Genesis account to find further clues as to where the garden was. There are several scriptures to piece together:

Genesis- before its destruction- where most people stop

Gen 2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

Gen 2:11 The name of the first [is] Pison: that [is] it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where [there is] gold;

Gen 2:12 And the gold of that land [is] good: there [is] bdellium and the onyx stone.

Gen 2:13 And the name of the second river [is] Gihon: the same [is] it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

Gen 2:14 And the name of the third river [is] Hiddekel: that [is] it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river [is] Euphrates.

*** Hiddekel matches the description for the Tigris.

Gen 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

**** note: only the east side of the garden is guarded. This means entrance from any other direction is not possible. Other entrances are gone, or the other areas are just missing. So what happened to the west side?

Many Christians have assumed that the entire original garden was located somewhere in the Mesopotamian region (around present day Iraq) where the modern Tigris (Hiddekel) and Euphrates rivers flow. But this is only the eastern side of the garden. If we want to find the rest of Eden, mainly the west side, we do NOT look at where the rivers ended up flowing, or where they ended (current Persian Gulf region). We have to look at where the rivers ORIGINATED. As the rivers flowed out, other areas were certainly included in the general garden area, but the source of the rivers is the point of interest here.

On a modern map, these 2 remaining rivers appear to originate in Turkey. But between the scientifically proven massive land upheaval and breakup, evidenced by known giant tectonic plates and fault lines, and continental drift, the real question is where was modern Turkey ORIGINALLY located at the time of creation? We know now that a great deal of continental drift has occurred since the beginning of the earth, and locations we see now are a result of movements of large masses of land. And if 2 rivers survived, why didn’t all 4 survive?

Because of Noah’s flood, the modern Tigris and Euphrates rivers are sometimes assumed named after the original pre-Flood rivers, but are not considered the original rivers. The Bible speaks of one river breaking into four. This is not what is found in the Middle East today. But is this assumption correct? Could God have allowed 2 of the 4 rivers to survive, to give us clues to the Garden’s original location? And are there other clues right in front of us as well? If He left us clues, was there a divine reason?

People also assume the Garden was destroyed by the Flood, and its actual location on the globe can never be established. Is this assumption correct? The Bible says God sent rain. When Noah got off the boat, he seemed to know where he was. If Mount Ararat was preserved, why not other places?

Ezechiel – the “best part” of Eden falls into a pit (hole) after God shakes the earth

What really happened to the Garden? We will go to Ezechiel to find more clues. This is talking about Assyria, enemy of Egypt, but it is also commenting on the fate of Eden, its relationship, or identity with Assyria, and drawing comparisons:

Eze 31:3 Behold, Assyria [was] a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of and high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.

** note – Assyria here is located inside Lebanon. This area today is located east of Lebanon. This is important to remember.

Eze 31:4 The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.

**Assyria (east side) being watered by waters of Lebanon (west side).

Eze 31:5 Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.

**Assyria seems to get the main benefit of the waters.

Eze 31:8 The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chesnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

*** garden of God mentioned in association with Assyria, not Babylon (Iraq). The most beautiful trees are TOWARD the east side, not ON the east side. In Genesis 2:8 it says that “the Lord planted a garden “eastward” in Eden, and there He put the man whom he had formed. However, the Bible also clarifies that both the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and the tree of life, was located “in the midst of the garden.” (Gen 2:9) If we look at a map of the middle east, we will see that midway between Lebanon and Iraq is Syria. So the special trees were actually located there, not in Iraq. Syria is still “eastward” of Lebanon.

It would also be logical to assume that the rivers flowed toward the east, since that was the most beautiful, most watered area. This would mean the rivers started in the west, and flowed eastward. On today’s map, we see water flowing from north to south. !! God never says anything about the north to south direction. How did the river origins shift in location? Did continental drifts contribute toward this, and what were the shifts?

Eze 31:9 I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that [were] in the garden of God, envied him.

*** Assyria (modern day Syria) is part of Eden. It is almost synonymous with Eden. We also have to understand how extensive the Assyrian empire was at times. At times, it included the entire middle east, including Lebanon and Turkey.

Eze 31:14 To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.

*** the trees were destroyed and sent to the “pit” along with men. This pit is mentioned a lot in scripture. It means a “hole” in Hebrew, and represents not just death, but a physical location in or on the earth. Where is the “pit” located?

Eze 31:15 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

*** Lebanon mourns loss of Assyria, or some part of it. Water supply is cut off. This means there were water beds that dried up as the water supply was cut off. Where are these dried up water beds today? That would give a clue as to where the original waters flowed, and from where, since they could be traced back to the origin. The origin of the rivers is gone, but there may be evidence as to the direction in which they flowed.

Eze 31:16 I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

***West Eden was originally in Lebanon. The nations were shaken as West Eden shakes, a pit or hole is created, and its trees fall and go down to the nether parts of the earth. This does not mean just under water. It means deep into the earth. There was an earthquake. And the nations were moved out of place. So there are a lot of buried dead trees, deep in the nether parts of the earth, and the “best part” of Eden (best part of Lebanon) went with the trees. It says the best part went down into the “pit.” Pit here means hole. Where is the hole? How did Lebanon divide and sink?

Eze 31:18 To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shall you be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth:

** the “best part” of Eden is buried deep in the earth. So when the earthquake happened, where did it happen, and where was the pit (hole) that swallowed the best part of Eden up.?

So far, there is a west Eden, a middle, an east Eden and a “best part” of Eden.

Finding the hole, and finding what is left- the “Tioran sliding land flap theory”

Look at the direction of the arrows on the map below. This is the sliding direction of the plates that the current land sits on.

The land mass where Turkey is located slides like this:

The land mass where Israel and Lebanon is located slides like this:

Imagine the slide continuing until the portion that is Turkey today slides south and down against what is Israel/Lebanon today. It is like a flap that was originally pulled up, and is now returning to its original position. The entire flap of land would then advance to the left (west) and down (south). This would put the land bridge (area of Georgia, Armenia, Azerbalian, Russia) closer to Europe and closer to the black sea.

From its current position, to return to its original position, the land bridge would shift to the west (left) and south, as the entire land mass shifted.

In the original position, it shifted the opposite direction. (first north ↑, then east →)

Below is a depiction with arrows, the movement of the land mass back to the original position. Everything moves along the fault lines shown in the other figure above. The 2 blue lines represent the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

If this movement is correct, then the map below depicts the original land mass at the time of Creation. Turkey was, in this theory, originally part of Lebanon, and tore away, when God shook the earth. This would also explain why 2 of the rivers continue to be on this land mass, which has moved northward, and then east. It also explains how such a source of 4 rivers could have one river end up in Ethiopia (Cush).

Other scriptures discussing what happened to the Garden of Eden:

Eze 36:35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities [are become] fenced, [and] are inhabited.

Joe 2:3 A fire devours before them; and behind them a flame burns: the land [is] as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

After the splitting of Eden, the east side is cut off from the source of waters in the west, so it becomes desolate. Fire is mentioned, possibly a volcano along with the earthquake that split the land along its fault line. So whatever trees did not fall into the hole, was burned up.

Where then are the dried up river beds, and volcanoes, to show this theory may be correct?

Satellite pictures taken from google earth:

Volcano (black circle) in Syria with burnt area – below that, Jordan, with dried up river bed. There are a total of 6 volcanoes in Syria. – 4 are near Damascus. One is near the Golan Heights.

Dried up river bed near volcano in Syria

Next photo is satellite picture of dried up water bed in the Sinai peninsula.

Dried up water beds appear light colored. Lava beds appear dark in color. Lava beds also have a denser, less delicate appearance. See below:

Volcano zones around the middle east – Eden area

Marked in orange. Notice that the middle zone in Turkey matches up with the one on Syria, if they were aligned side by side as pictured above in the theoretical sketch of East-West Eden. In the same way, the zone – that is most east- in Turkey lines up with the dried up water bed in the Sinai peninsula.

Where is the “pit?”

Apparently, there are spots on the earth which can just “open up” and swallow what is there, then close. One is described as being in the desert and one in Israel. God uses it to punish the local people when they disobey:

Num 16:30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that [appertain] unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.

Num 16:33 They, and all that [appertained] to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

***you do not have to be dead to go there !!!

Isa 24:18 And it shall come to pass, [that] he who flees from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

***earthquakes and the pit seem to work together

Isa 24:19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

Isa 24:20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

**** this is more than just an earthquake. The earth as we would know it is broken into pieces, and dissolved, the entire earth is affected. This suggests a force so strong that massive pieces of land are breaking up into pieces

Eze 26:20 When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;

*** indicates a repeated long history of going down to the pit

Num 26:10 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.

*** people swallowed alive – they go down into the pit

Deu 11:6 And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that [was] in their possession, in the midst of all Israel:

*** people swallowed alive – they go down into the pit

Psa 106:17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram.

*** people swallowed alive – they go down into the pit

So where is the “Pit?”

I propose that this “pit” is the Syrian – African rift. See below. Notice one can see Turkey in the distance as well. One can also see not only the fault going north- south but also east-west at the top of the picture, where Turkey is. The fault lines are shaped like a T:

Look how the above rift lines up with the recorded journey of the Israelites while in the Sinai desert:

There were times when they journeyed very close to the rift and could have fallen in if there was an earthquake. The Israelites would have stayed close to the sea to have a water supply.

The Pit in the future is intended for the wicked:

Rev 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

Rev 17:8 The beast that you saw was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

How will this Pit be opened?

Zec 14:4 And his [the Messiah Prince] feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Isa 24:22 And they shall be gathered together, [as] prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

*** these people in the pit are still alive when they go in.

Isa 24:23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

*** When the Messiah -Lord comes to Zion, during a blood moon and solar eclipse, the sign of the end times.

2 conclusions:

1. A theory is proposed, with reasons, that the modern day Turkey used to be the western part of the Garden of Eden. It split off when God initiated a massive earthquake and the land mass split along the fault lines. The land mass also drifted north, then east, sliding into its current position. The middle or “best part” of Eden fell into the Pit. The eastern part of Eden was destroyed by the cutting off of the water supply, making it desolate, and destroyed by volcanic activity as well. Today, much of this area is desert. Turkey appears to have retained 1-2 rivers which still feed the middle east. The other two are lost, or have become less or non-functional.

2. When the Messiah comes, he will activate the Syrian-African rift by the power of God, and the wicked will fall into it. This will occur when Israel’s enemies attack her in an attempt to “wipe her off the map.” Those that come to destroy Israel in this final war will be completely destroyed.

The scriptures accurately describe the movement of the tectonic plates and fault lines.

For those contemplating the destruction of Israel, and God’s people there:

You will not win. You will die and face the judgment of God. So think about what is written here, and stay out of it. When this occurs, it will prove that the God of Israel is above all over earthly gods, and unless you repent of the evil you have done, you will face eternal destruction.

  2. Thanks Marianne for inviting me to read this. It is interesting.

I am going to hold to my position as stated on Sightedmoon.com as explained in the article at http://www.sightedmoon.com/?page_id=26

I have been to Eastern Turkey and the Western portion of the Garden of Eden. I am trying to get to the Eastern portion before the next war breaks out.

I hope you take the time to read the article and see how the names of the rivers are changed in our most recent history.

Again thanks and I am glad to have come to your site.

WHen I get there I expect to find a huge altar east of the eastern gate. I am not to sure how Iran will react to me wondering around there exploring.

  3. When one views a topographical map of modern Israel you will notice the presence of large river bed that forms a valley from the North and tracking south into the Red Sea. I believe this is evidence of the river that was in the midst of the Garden which broke out into the four heads, watering Havillah (Egypt) where there is much gold and onyx stone. I also believe the Tree of Life exists today however it is hidden in a cavern under the present day Mount of Olives, this being in the midst of the Garden. The Tree of Life again is mentioned in the book of Revelation, that her roots will extend over a river flowing from the throne of the Lord coming from the Temple in Jerusalem. This river will flow eastward through the eastern gate and through the split created by the coming of Yeshua in which the Mount of Olives will be divided from a great earthquake when his feet make contact with the mount. Scripture also indicate that the Cedars of Lebanon was also in the midst of the Garden of God. Is it possible that the Garden compasses the original borders of Israel?

  4. Hi Rodney,

It is most likely that Israel was somehow in the center of the Garden. The source river may have run north to south, and others coming from it may have extended eastward. The current boundaries we see today were not in place then. The land that God originally gave the Jews extends all the way from the Nile River to the Tigris/Euphrates area. So, maybe this was the original garden area and it would be restored under the Messianic kingdom.

If God is going to restore all things back to how pure it was at creation, he would also have to restore the garden. Somehow, Israel has been picked to be the center of this activity.

    • “Israel was somehow in the center of the Garden…”
How can a criminal terrorist state be related or given by God!?
And did not Jesus Christ Himself reveal that the Jews are of the Synagogue of Satan? (Revelations 2). Jesus Christ also revealed that the Jews are not true Jews when He said to the Christians of Asia Minor, “I will make them who say they are Jews but are not, but do lie, to come and worship before thy feet.” (Revelations 3).

How then can the so-called Jews who are now the enemies of the Cross and of the Synagogue of Satan, and who must worship at the feet of Christians, be the “Chosen People?”

Hated, persecuted, censured, (rightly so), wandering from nation to nation when expelled from their host nations, and wreaking havoc wherever they go in their hatred of Christianity, the Jews have indeed experienced the curses predicted of them by Moses and the desolation that Jesus Christ predicted of the Jews for rejecting Him.

JEWS ARE NOT THE “Chosen People.” Christians are the “Chosen People.” God said to Abraham, “I will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee. And in thy seed all of the nations shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12,26).

What “blessings” have the Jews brought to the world since 33 A.D.? Just read today’s headlines and one can clearly see that “curses” have been brought upon society by the Jews.

The War in Iraq serves only the interests of the Jews and their promotion of the Christ-hating State of Israel. The tragedy of the World Trade Center was a result of the Jewish Zionist agenda.

The secularization of Western society is caused by the Jews, which has debased the morals of once Christian nations, now rife with the abominations of anal sex of homosexuals and the perverse sexual conduct of lesbians. Jews are on the forefront of promoting these perverse “alternate life-styles.” Are all of these things “blessings” from the so-called, “seed of Abraham,” the Jews? No. These are all “curses” brought upon us by the “seed of the devil,” the Jews.

Christians Are God’s “Chosen People” Not Jews. Christians are the “seed of Abraham.” This is what St Paul the Hebrew of Hebrews said over and over again. Here is one instance of St Paul’s many assertions regarding Christians being the seed of Abraham: “If ye be Christ’s then are ye Abraham’s seed.” (Galatians 3:29).

      • Ehden

Your commentary is classic antisemitism, which blames all the problems in the world on Jews. The problems were always there, if the Jews were present or not.

You are also wrong. And you do not have the heart of spirit of Christ, to be talking this way.

The Israelis are not terrorists. The Palestinians are. They blow themselves up, blow up their children, and then blame Israel. Israel has a right to protect itself against crazy evil people.

They are not the source of all the evils you mention. TO blame them is evil. There are more former Christians and atheists behind these activities than Jews, who are less than .1 % of the world population. The fallen world is due to man’s individual choice to reject God and his Word.

Jesus did not call all Jews the Synagogue of Satan. Remember that the very early church was all Jewish, and

Jesus was addressing the Church, not the unsaved Jewish population. The synagogue of Satan was a reference to those in the church who professed to belong to Christ, but were hypocrites and evil, twisting the scriptures, doing harm to others.

The remarks you just made indicate you belong in this category, unless you repent, and wake up to the deception
you are under. Your remarks reflect Satanic influence.

The call of God is without repentance. Once we are chosen, we are chosen forever. God does not change his mind.

        • Marianne,

In response to Ehden’s comment, I would like to point out a few scriptural points, not out of context but fully within the realm of solid exegetical practice.

Before I do, I will state a few things firmly. I am no hatemonger, I believe in no “master race” ideology, and at no point does my doctrine divert from the gospel of Christ, Co-equal, eternal Son of God, bodily crucified and ressurected for the remission of sin so that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him may not die but have everlasting life. Understand, I deny no one salvation, nor justify evil done against anyone, regardless of any justifications of men.

With that in mind, I have spend the last three years of my life considering, with great skepticism initially, the evidence behind the modern identity of the lost tribes of Israel (the northern 10 tribes), and the end time mystery of the prophecies of Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Jeremiah…(among many others).

In the course of this study, there has been much reason to question the biblical/historical definition of the term “Jew” (derived from a Babylonian term to describe men of the tribe of Judah, and their countrymen in the southern kingdom…specifically Judahites, Benjamites, and a portion of the Levites). I have found that scripture supports this claim. This term was never biblically mandated to apply to the followers of Judaism, which traces it’s beginnings during the exile, hence the Babylonian Talmud being the nearly concensus primary scripture of Judaism…not the Torah.

I realize, given the traditions we have been raised on, this is difficult to accept, and all emotion would immediately drive one to brand me a radical…however, again, I have no hatred of any man.

The modern usage of the term “Jew” has become representative of any, regardless of ancestry, who worship according to the Judaic principals and laws.

Jesus was a Jew (of the tribe of Judah), Paul was a Jew (of the tribe of Benjamin). The house of Israel, the lost 10 tribes of the north, were never referred to as Jews, but are referred to as Israelites, Omrides (for Omri, their leader), but never as Jews.

With this in mind, I will further clarify. Israel (sans “house of”) is used, in prophecy, to refer to all descended from Israel.

I do not claim to understand all of this mystery, nor am I beyond correction and reproof. I have literally spent the vast majority of my time seeking, in prayer and supplication, trying these claims by the word. In the process, as with all things, I’ve encountered differing views, incomplete understandings, and downright deceptive agendas of supremecy…but the core observations, minus any antichrist spirit, hold up to testing, better than the dismissive modern traditions that imply that God gave us flawed prophecies, only partially true.

The final point, that required my deeper study and the search for understanding, hinges upon this simple fact. As emotionally observed by the previous poster, Christ had no use for the religion of the Pharisees (Judaism). At no point did He condone, authorize, or otherwise justify their practices. He did not come to clean up Judaism, but at every turn did He reject it, correct it, and point out how it was vain. He was ultimately killed by the laws of Judaism.

Those who heard Him came out of the traditions of men, free from the law of sin and death. None that were of His flock stayed. Hence, we must reject any inherent connection between Judaism and the true God of Israel. Isaiah speaks much of the destined removal of the House of Israel…and their ultimate fate, to forget and be forgotten of God…but that He, through grace, would redeem Israel…they would be called by a new name, they would be given a new place, in the Isles…north and west of Palestine. (neat experiment: go to google maps, start at the location of Samaria and draw a line…due northwest of the capital of the northern kingdom, and observe the first island that line intersects.)

Judah, having the scepter of rulership until Christ returns, was also taken…as prophesied by Jeremiah, Isaiah, and Ezekiel…it did not remain in Jerusalem.

Ultimately, though oppression, hatred, or racism is not condoned by Christ, if we truly believe what Christ said, we cannot espouse ANY religion that proclaims to be God’s people who deny Christ. Christ said it plainly, “no man cometh to the father but through me.”

Let God be true and all men liars. In closing, Israel was sanctified, chosen of God to perform a specific task. They did nothing to deserve this…NO ONE deserves anything short of death. Sanctification does not deny the need for Christ’s salvation. But in order to be established to be Israel…TRUE Israel, not a piece of land, but those descendent of Jacob/Israel…the inheritors of the Covenants…the people in question MUST reflect those covenants.

          Israel’s children would:

          1. Outnumber the sands of the sea and the stars of the sky.
          2. Be found, when redeemed as prophesied, in Isles “afar off” “north and west of Palestine”.
          3. They would be prosperous, commanding great wealth and bounty
          4. They would (after redeemed) be given a new name, and bring the light of God to all the nations of the earth.
          5. They would be without a king (Hosea), for a time…but then the rightful king would be restored to them. (look into the only culture/country that claims…without fail, that Jeremiah brought the daughters of the king Zedekiah, to their shores, thus preserving the “eternal” throne of David. There’s only one who has never waivered in this claim.)

          6. They would borrow from no one, but many would borrow from them.

          7. They would stretch out and rule over the world, carrying with them the light of God. (look up Campbell Island, and note the settlement of it, and the only noteworthy distinction it has…being the farthest point on the world from a specific capital.)

I assure you, there are far too many of these signs….but as God is true, and His profits speak truly…we must test any claim to the prophecy of Israel by these standards. I ask you, does the state of Israel (for more aha-worthy insight, ask yourself what people were possessed of the right and legal authority to establish the state of Israel), and the majority of it’s inhabitants fit these descriptions? If not they, who then does? (hint: every last one of the prophetic signs of redeemed Israel is fulfilled by a single group of people…and my study was doubting, skeptical, and yet it was made clear when I dismissed the nonesense that God’s view of authority makes the sinful, carnal view of supremacy null and void. By the world’s eyes, authority is used to oppress and subjegate….(also, being human…Israel would not lead in perfection), but Christ’s example shows the, truth of godly authority. Just as Christ was servitor the “lost sheep of the HOUSE OF ISRAEL…there’s that term again, His bride is to be servitor to all nations of the earth, that through her, all nations might be blessed.

Ok, enough dancing around it…last question…what people have taken the gospel to the entire world, retains a monarchy even bold enough to claim Davidic lineage, has spread the gospel to all nations and commonwealths it has established…(do not fall into the belief that one can justify the sins and faults of ANY people, Israel or no Israel…salvation is by grace alone and no man, or group is free of the flesh just yet.)

Who, I ask you, has been blessed greatly, fulfills the prophecy, (even though the enemy of Christ would seek to make the claim repugnant, using all manner of false pretense, horrible tragedy, and weaknesses of men, and guilt by association to make deaf the ears and blind the eyes.)

I have come to see, against all my own suspicions and a constant prayer that the Spirit condemn false teachings in my heart. I spent two full years devoted to the study of historical accounts (denied by the same secular empiricism that denies God entirely), the literal and figurative MOUNTAINS of archaeological evidence…overlooked entirely in modernity by those who would deny truth, and deny God and His Christ, and most importantly, I have consumed my life with refining these claims by the Word itself, which confirmed to a degree I could never have imagined.

I espouse no religion, for faith in Christ is not one. Religion is, by the strictest definition, a set of laws and rituals enacted for the purpose of making man acceptable unto God. There are many “religions”, there is only one Christ. I am no new Ager, and all paths do not lead to salvation. I know that all “religions” put stumblingblocks before man, for they are carnal…if they were not carnal, they would be of one mind. They replace grace with ritual and sacrament…all. I share fellowship with all believers, and I respect and take counsel with elders who show the fruits of the Spirit. I am not all wise, nor am I free, from the struggles of the flesh…yet, as He lives, so shall I live. I am called to speak, and to serve my,brothers….to honor all men, and to share the light…I am unworthy, yet I am called and given this service…and in this, I have performed that service unto you all.

I pray that I may I see your smiling faces, everyone of you, at the the marriage feast of the Lamb. May the once deaf hear, and may the once blind see…Amen.

      • Unfortunately Jesus was a new and that would make the jews chosen because they are of his natural kin. And also I could care less about someone who calls himself God. The Greek mythology is a more likely way we should have went due to the connection We ppl follow more without realizing it. We praise the God of Sun and at night we pray to the God of the moon. When we eat we pray to all of our gods. See the pattern yet? Yall think that one person did all of this to our planet but none of yall think about the reality of it all. We are crossing back and forth from sleep to awake because our gods in Olympus wish that of us. And another thing, I don’t care of ice pisses anyone off. I’m pagan and worship my gods and goddesses who watch over us day and night

  5. Hi Joseph,

Mine is just a theory. I would love to see the real garden be proven and re-established. I got to your site late, after you had written a lot. I will spend some time there reading your posts as well.

What makes me awestruck is that God has left clues behind for us to ponder, and know that his word is true…that there really is a garden.!!

    marianne

  6. Have you considered that areas have been “re named”?
Or “named after”? Such as Georgia in the Southern United States and Georgia in Russia? “New York” as opposed to the “York” in England?. Etc. The rivers may have changed names. Therefore changing the location we now believe to be the origin of life.
Which is the Middle East. When the North and South American Continents were “connected” (they fit together like a jig saw puzzle,,,,,,,,,when Cain moved “East” of Eden he could conceivably gone east of the Mississippi River and wound up in what we know as the Middle East, today.

    cassandra

  7. Hi Cassandra,

Yes, I have heard the view of the more modern names. This might be true, and I may be wrong.

One thing that bothered me is that God put an angel at the entrance to the garden….for some reason…only on the east side, leaving the rest exposed?…..with the intent that man not go in there again.

Since then, in recent times, men have claimed they have visited Eden and they have been to all 4 rivers. I have a problem making that match scripture.

I definitely think that Turkey was at least part of Eden….Scripture mentions Lebanon as well. and then says that the “best part” of Eden fell into the pit…..so the question is….if the “best part” of Eden fell into the pit, why is it still in Turkey?

there is another site you can visit which thinks that all of Eden is in Turkey, and they give their reasons:

You can go there too, and see what you think. You have to look at the menu.

  9. Hello Dr. Tioran,
Very interesting theory. Awesome graphics,…you must be some kind of genius? Whether you are right or not, it really causes people to think about the wonders of God’s awesome creation. I commend you for this work well done!

  10. Hello Dr. CJ,

Thanks for the kind words. Only God knows if I am right. He also knows I love to unravel the fascinating mysteries He left behind, after dealing with humankind over the ages. May we all be fascinated with His Word !

  11. Interesting article and suggestions. I am not very familiar with Middle Eastern topography, but have you considered the town of Ehden (with an h) in Lebanon as a possible site? There is a document in the Vatican which considers this town to be the garden of Eden and the people who live there to be the descendants of Sam, Noah’s son. Ehden also has apple trees, which coincides with the story of Adam and Eve.

  12. Hi Jean,

I had not considered this city as Eden, but from what scriptures say, Lebanon was part of west Eden.

  13. Thanks for your response Marianne. I’m really not sure if Ehden is the location of the garden. It could be a similarity in spelling… I still think your arguments are compelling.

  14. Marianne, this is an interesting article.
I would like to point out the statement that in the days of Peleg the earth was divided. I thought that it may refer to the continental drift. Under the flood waters God could have done major landscape redesign without anyone noticing.
Also fossils in the US suggest that there were huge quantities of mud moved. The garden Eden may just have been buried under a thick layer of mud.

    • Hi GYOD.

I wonder if, during all the earthquakes, tribulation, wrath of god, etc the land masses will redistribute again, to create the “new earth.”

I would like to see the Garden of Eden restored, just to see what it looked like.

      • The worldly geology believes in a original one continent “Pangea”. They also speculate that one day there will be a new continent “Pangea2”.
There is a film, where they fantasize about creatures like flishes, which are flying fishes in forests and something like a crossbreed between an alephant and a calamar, really weird stuff.
Anyway, the demons that inspire this kind of science, may know more that we do.
If we are to come to the feasts of the Lord and I assume that the ordinary man or woman will not be able to fly, it may make more sense, if there is only one continent of moderate size, so all can come.

    • Hello Marianne,

Though dismissed by most modern Bible expositors, fearful of ridicule, I have studied the etymology of the name Peleg. The word translated divided in the KJV is the same word root as Peleg itself.

Fearful of their reputations within secular scientific circles, many modern expositors have espoused a view that this word, Peleg, describes the process of dividing the land among the different peoples established by God’s confusion of languages at the, tower of Babel.

The problem with this view is the ancient Hebrew has a word, specifically used for “apportion” or “divide a possession/inheritance”, nachal (nawchal). The instances of peleg’s use, corrrsponding with the chaldee palak (if I recall correctly), is most adequately perceived as “rivening”, or the widening between land masses, perceived as caused powerful flows of water.

Unless I find reason to believe otherwise, it seems likely that continental drift began, or increased in earnest during the days of Peleg.

First, the scripture never idly makes a point of noting something. Second, it is likely…given the pattern of Hebrew naming, that this event was quite universally known. This matches modern conventions somewhat, on a lesser scalem I named my daughter, Coraline, after a fairly well recognized film.

Subsequently, this also would clear up one of the larger questions regarding Noah. Often, I had questioned, and had no pastor willing to give ear to my request, how Noah could get land animals TO the ark. Of course, God doesn’t need permission…He may move them using superpowers…but, I have come to find, when we are not fettered by secular conclusions that God’s word is not true because “that’s impossible”, we can frequently see quite clearly His hand at work.

Remember, sounding smart does not deny someone, being a fool, (who in his heart has saidm “there is no God.”

We cannot allow ourselves to give heed to the counsel of fools, but neither should we rail against them.

While I have not read all presented here, much of it is in line with what God has prompted me to see. Keep seeking Him…Marianne!

  15. It would not surprise me if the hole Jesus’ cross was placed in, was once the very spot the tree of knowledge, good and evil once was. DavWms

  16. Marianne,
This site will provide much needed information to substantiate what I have already believed for many years concerning the location of the Garden of Eden: http://www.kjvbible.org/rivers_of_the_garden_of_eden.html, The Temple Mount was the foundation stone of the earth, the Tree of Life located where the Lord was crucified upon the Mt. of Olives outside the gate of the city and would have witnessed the veil being torn giving entrance to the Most Holy Place. From this view thru the Eastern Gate one runs into the Mount of Olives.

    • Hi Rodney,

It seems like they came to similar conclusions, that the garden was in the holy land, except their reasoning is different, but still compatible with what I was thinking.

  17. In the Bible it states that the Gihon river flows threw Ethiopia…. yet on any maps of then and now I don’t see it please explain by email tonyaosburn@yahoo.com sub. Bible

    • hi Tonya

Due to the flood and continental drift, the land masses have shifted, so you will not see this Gihon river on a modern map.

If you look at about the 7th picture down on the page, where turkey is turned sideways, and blue lines come out, you will see one river flowing south. It is going toward Ethiopia (Cush).

If you look at Saudi arabia and Egypt, you can see they fit together, but have split apart. the Red Sea is a result.

I personally think that the Red Sea is the Gihon river, but it widened greatly when the Arabian plate and the African plate pulled apart from each other, due to movement of the land masses. If you follow the Red Sea, it leads straight to Ethiopia.

  18. we love the picture of the Garden of Eden! Can you tell us about it? (We are high school students doing a project and found it on google.)

  19. I’d like to remind us all of a few things:
In Genesis 6 & 7 we’re told that God destroyed the earth because of the wickedness of Mankind, not because of the Nephilim. However, the Nephilim perished in the flood; none survived. These same scriptures tell us that all life on the earth, except Noah and his family, perished in the flood. Nobody else survived.

About the four rivers of Eden, and of Eden’s location. I do not think God has intentionally left us any clues of where Eden is/was. The Tree of Life is in Eden, guarded by the cherub with the flaming sword. I believe the whole reason the cherubim are there is to guard the Tree, not the entire Garden, which is probably long destroyed. I tend to believe the Tree is still there, wherever “there” is. And someday, according to Revelation, the redeemed children of God will be given access to the Tree. The Garden itself is apparently irrelevant. The only important thing about it now is the Tree. Thus, it doesn’t matter where the Garden was, as it has nothing to do with anything except to spark curiosity (and distract us).

    • hi Jim

There is certainly much truth to what you say. My intent is to show how fascinating biblical mysteries can be, so people will enjoy reading the bible with new curiosity and fervor. Details such as where the Garden is are not crucial to salvation, but it is rewarding to reflect upon all of the word, and enjoy and absorb the contents.

  20. Hi I just listened to a fellow who said that Yahew’s name is written in the topography of the Jerusalem mountains, I am assuming this would be ancient hebrew letters. Do you know anything about this, he said you can see it on satellite maps in the topography, I want to verify what he is saying but not sure where to look or how to recognize it.

    • hi shelly

I have heard that too. There is nothing really to see. There is supposed to be 3 mountains and 3 valleys in between them – to make the letter shin.

  21. Marianne,
Deep stuff, but am so grateful for your God-given genius finding the hard knowledge for us/me. Enjoy it and look for more, thank you.

  22. Marianne
I wonder about Noah having to feed, clean-up so many animals. In ancient history, the servants are rarely mentioned. Could this also have been the case. I see Noah run-down with work, wonder if it would be enough, IF the kids/boys helped?
Some Flood accounts reckon that when the waters receded, some of those ‘passengers’ left the ark..in South America and settled there ???

  24. I have some additional research regarding the tectonic plate movement theory you use here. In the last 6000 years the plates in question have moved approximately 1000 feet.
Anything much more than that would have to have been done by purely supernatural means, not geological. Hope this fits your theory OK. Otherwise you may have to recalculate some stuff.

    What do you think?

    • gavriel

This makes no sense to me at all.

They think you can fall through a hole in the earth and arrive at another Jerusalem and another Israel? Where is the proof of such a duplicate environment?

Are they saying that when Jesus went to heaven, he actually only went to Chile?

  27. wow i am amazed i never knew all of that stuff and i am shocked it was very helpful.

  35. 5th mar 2012:the pishon & gihon rivers may have originated in kuwait or egypt.

    • hi br

I would agree with that. somewhat.

The rivers originated in the Lebanon / north Israel area, and then flowed to Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Egypt.

The Garden of Eden and the “Pit” – Tioran land drift theory

Originally before the continental drift and rearrangement took place, there is evidence that Turkey used to be west of Israel and Lebanon.

With the movement of tectonic plates north, then east ward, the land masses shifted, and Turkey moved to the north of Israel.

Since the origin of the 4 rivers was actually in Turkey, at least 2 of the rivers were still able to flow, but now from the north, and down into Iraq and Syria once more.

  38. I think that all of this is fascinating! I also kind of agree with the guy who said the Garden itself is irrelevant; it is the Tree of Life which is now guarded. Truly, the whole brand-new world itself could have been considered The Eden if it is true that it was all one continent to begin with right?

    • hi catseye

There is a theory about a pangea where all the land masses were one big one….and later parted into continents after the flood.

I think it is a fascinating possibility also.

  39. I have always been curious…when Cain killed Abel he was sent into the world, but marked as not to be killed by others. He also married into tribes of others. How, if they were only the first humans. On the other hand, Eve is told after sinning that childbirth would now be painful…how would she have known it was painful if she hadn’t already given birth? And, furthermore, wouldn’t any children she had before her fall be perfect children?

    • hi catseye

You ask a good question, one that others have asked. Who was this other race of people? There are theories of a pre-adamic race of people.

      They appear to be either

      1. related to the fallen angels that were cast down prior to the creation of man.
      2. beings who were “visitors” from other planets. this is related to the theory that aliens came here to do creative work as well, and started a colony of people. if true, their DNA should be different from ours.

If cain married into either race, the result would have been a hybrid race. they would have all been destroyed in Noah’s flood, but as some theories indicate, future attempts to re-establish the hybrids continued.

It seems Eve only got pregnant after the fall in the garden.

It would be significant if she bore children before the sin, because they would be more pure than the other ones, and the Messiah would have come from them instead.. But, the Messiah came from Seth, not anyone who preceded him.

    • Adam,

Is that why the world has gone bananas!!!

You ‘ad ’em in stitches again Adam I like your style..you are good for a heavy heart! Blessings to you ! 🙂

      • Hi catseyevision72,

I believe that God’s statement to Eve regarding pain in childbirth was a direct reminder to her, and for the benefit of women for all generations as a reminder of the magnitude and consequences sin…and with regard to any other beings on earth before Adam and Eve, that would be impossible as God marveled at the goodness of His creation, so there would have been nothing untoward on earth to at that time that would have detracted from his perfect work. All thing were pure before sin entered the world. My thoughts.

        Blessings

      • Although many things are possible with interbreeding, God being Sovereign has not allowed Satan the scope to do what many, disturbingly, are claiming. But Satan being what he is, will do anything
to have us believe he has the power he covets, with the purpose of making God appear anything less than Sovereign…and so the lies are kept alive because many do not yet understand the velocity of his intent to deceive.

  40. Why must the Messiah come from the more “pure” race, if put here to witness to the wounded and weary? Why would he need to provide hope to the pure line?

Also, if one entertains the notions of angels and demons as physical beings then the thought of “aliens” isn’t so strange and vice versa. I read today about remains found that are different from our own. There are many articles, I just picked this particular one:

    http://www.history.com/news/did-a-new-human-species-thrive-in-stone-age-china

And also, Noah is the only one that received any award for his job. He was allowed to save his family (I am assuming because of his favor with the God or gods) and two of each animal (innocent enough creatures) to repopulate. As we all know, just because one is family does not always mean they will see eye to eye. I don’t believe that all of Cain’s lineage was killed out, simply because Evil still walks this planet, and it was Cain who performed the first truly Evil act.

I don’t mean to sound like I am debating; I have talked to many pastors, and they can not come up with half of what you have already answered to me. Thank you! I just have sooooo sooooo sooooo many unanswered questions. I guess for me it just boils down to plain ole Good and Evil, because when you start talking about angels, demons, aliens, and pre-human creatures they call the doctor.

    • catseye

If you look in the old testament, the animals used then had to be without spot or blemish. they had to be male, and young, and not have any sickness or disease in them. they had to be perfect, with no visible problems.

Messiah had to be perfect also.

Messiah had to come from a pure lineage because he had to be a pure sacrifice for sins.

There could be nothing wrong, no sin connected to him or his family.

this way, the self sacrifice of Jesus would be acceptable to the father in heaven.

  41. I don’t understand how there was to be no sin connected to Him or His family. Was Seth’s line, then, perfect? His sacrifice does not seem to mean much if the family He came from was perfect. That would mean that there is potential to be without sin without accepting Him? Which, the 7th Day Adventist seems to believe.

Does this also mean that Noah and his family was without sin, also?

Also, if the animals brought had to be male then how did they repopulate?

    • “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Rom 3:23

      • Hi Richard,

I agree with the above, yet many had been imputed with, or ascribed with “righteousness” too, based upon Faith, and obedience to Gods Voice.

        Praise Yeshua our Precious Savior.
        Amen.

        • I agree Alienated…. my response was to the claim of a sinless lineage, hence the verse I quoted. Righteousness by faith, does not negate the inherent sinful condition.

    • A pure human DNA line that G-d created. Not the Nephilim that the fallen Angels created. Noah was pure in his generations. Which means he was fully human.

Notice how there are UFO abduction stories about seeing Alien hybred children. It is happening again with the 10% of fallen Angels that were given respite until Judgement day. The time is short.

      • Leatherneck,

I pray that you are well my brother, and I agree.

I’m not sure if you read this or not when I posted it on another page.
I was woken up at 3:00 am with it all running through my mind, and when I woke up, complied and posted it.

The Days of Noah, and the interpretation of Daniels dream to Nebuchadnezzar, (in Biblical chronological order), and what it all might suggest.

        Genesis 6: 1-4.

        Numbers 13: 22-33.
(This was the cause, due to a lack of obedience and Faith in the LORD our God, for Israel to walk 40 years in the wilderness, where all of those 20 and older were not allowed to enter the promised land, except for Joshua and Caleb.) I believe that this is a foreshadowing of an event yet to come. (For we as followers of Yeshua are also warned not to harden our hearts. Hebrews 3:8-12. for just one of many examples.) As is Genesis 18: 16-33., and Genesis 19: 1-29., also a foreshadowing of the rapture of the Ekklēsia.

        Deuteronomy 2:10,11., & 20,21.

        Deuteronomy 3:1-13.

        Joshua 12:4.

        Joshua 13:12,13.

        Joshua 15:8-14.

        Joshua 17:12-15.

        Joshua 18:16.

        Judges 1:19,20.,
(Though they were told by the LORD to destroy everything that they encountered within the cities that they overtook, they disobeyed and didn’t, (verses 21-36). The “seed of the Nephilim” remained.)

        1 Samuel 17: 4-51.
(David here is a type and foreshadowing of Yeshua. When King, he establishes the city of Jerusalem as the focal point of worship. When Yeshua returns as the conquering KING, He establishes His Millennial Kingdom in New Jerusalem, as High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.)

        2 Samuel 21:15-22.

        1 Chronicles 20:4-8.

        DANIEL 2:43.
(After the flood, Ham begat Cush, and Cush begat Nimrod, and Nimrod established the kingdom of Babel. In taking into account its variants, Nimrod is rendered in Hebrew as “נִמְרֹד”, (a proper masculine noun), transliterated as “Nimrowd”, (Strong’s 5248), and its primary definition is “rebellion”. Babylon, (or Babel), in Hebrew is “בָּבֶל”, (a proper locative noun), transliterated as “Babel”, (Strong’s 894), is defined as “confusion, (by mixing)”.

Now pay particular attention here, because I believe that the following explains Daniels interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, which is a prophecy regarding “end times”.
This, “confusion by mixing”, can be understood to encompass that of “language”, (as was the first instance in Genesis 11:1-7.) or “also” that of “people” as this would be the case within Revelation when the beast, (satan), ascends from the bottomless pit and infiltrates the world with his minions.
This “confusion of MIXING” is what is meant and described within Daniels interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. Read Daniel chapter 2, and specifically that of verses 36 to 45 within this context, and it should become as plain as day. Verse 43 is “And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.”)

        MATTHEW 13:18-30. AND 36-43.
(This is Yeshua foretelling the disciples what had occurred within the past, (all of the above), and what will occur “again” within the future.)

        MATTHEW 24:37-51.
(After that of the experience that I have just gone through, I believe that I was shown how duplicity of meaning was utilized within scripture. (I can’t prove this at all, it is just with what I was left with.) The “One Taken One Left” that is described here within Matthew 24:40,41., (due to the following verses of the chapter), are describing that of the “gathering of the Ekklēsia”, whereas the verses that say the same thing, more or less, in Luke 17:34-37., are describing a different event altogether. The narrative in Luke is referring to the “Tares” that will be taken in Matthew 13:18-30., and 36-43., when Yeshua comes to establish His Millennial Kingdom.)

Nebuchadrezzar, (where it is recorded within Jeremiah 25:9-16.) is the King of Babylon, and these verses are a foreshadowing of this end time event.
Nebuchadrezzar in Hebrew is “נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּר”, transliterated as “Nĕbuwkadne’tstsar”, (Strong’s 5019) and it is defined as “may Nebo protect the crown”.
God denounces this Nebo within Isaiah 46:1. after telling the people again through Isaiah within the preceding chapter, that He is their God and not to worship another. Within chapter 45, God also makes reference to a people of a future time. In verse 16 He states, “They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together [that are] makers of idols.”

Also, satan is the true king of confusion, deceit, and hates for people to personally know God through Yeshua. Consequently then, as stated within scripture, (Isaiah 14:4.) he is the true king of Babylon as well. (Verses 5 and 6 of Isaiah 14 there, are described in in Revelation 17 and 18. And the following verses of Isaiah 7 through 17 describe what will occur “after” this takes place and Yeshua returns at His true “second coming”.

Therefore Babylon, (though at one time was an actual city), is expressed within the Tanakh, by its Hebraic definitions, “as describing any city that is confused and lacks the true understanding of the One Triune God, and is also mixed with satan and his seed, and has fallen totally into idolatry.” And though the “end times” will indeed be a worldwide horrible situation, Jerusalem being established by King David as Gods Holy city, has many times in the past, provoked God to be angry and jealous by falling into idolatry.

Therefore scripture would suggest that the “Days of Noah” not only consist of the world itself carrying on as normal etc., but also that “the Nephilim, (the “they” in Daniel 2:43.) are the “seed of satan” that shall “mix” again with the “seed of man” in the end times. I also believe now that with the beast and false prophet establishing a counterfeit Messiah ship, claiming to be God, that this will be centrally focused in Jerusalem as well.

        Just my thoughts.
Praise be unto Yeshua our Precious Savior. Our Glorious KING of kings and LORD of lords.
        Amen.

      • The time is short and the deception is increasing.
There is nothing in scripture to suggest that Noah was not fully human. So where would any doubt originate from? Stay with scripture….it is infallible! Go beyond, and who knows what you will end up believing!

        • Hi Richard,

I am not attempting to deceive anyone?

If all of the human race, and nephilim were killed during the flood, (other than Noah and those that were on the Ark), then “how” did they end up appearing on the earth again?

I believe that all of the above commentary, would coincide with the correlating scripture that is provided above regarding the seed of satan.
Yeshua Himself states in Matthew 13, that they will indeed co-exist with man again on earth, during end times, as does Daniel 2:43.

Yes, scripture is infallible. How would you interpret the above then?
When you can get the opportunity I would appreciate hearing what it is that you think personally.
          Thanks.

Be Blessed in Yeshua our Precious Savior and KING of kings.
          Amen.

          • satan does not give up. The fallen angels had sex with human women initially, and they did it again after the flood. they are probably still doing it.

            • Hi Alienated,

Of course you aren’t trying to deceive anyone. You posted your comment while I was writing mine…it should have appeared above yours. My reference to deception was a matter of fact statement, not a personal one 🙂 (Just a side note: the book of Enoch was not inspired, so is not included in the Word of God, and therefore is not credible. This is adding to God’s Word and can lead to deception and the consequences we are warned about)

I do not dispute the existence of nephilim; neither do I underestimate God’s providence with regard to the scope and restrictions he affords Satan to work his evil; and neither am I concerned, for God is bigger than any Goliath…These peripheral things have never really caught my attention, but I do agree there is a case for unease…Just imagine waking up one morning to find that your wife’s legs are extended an extra 2 feet from the bed…as if 5’6″ of grief is not enough to deal with; so these are worrying times brother..worrying times!………;)

(No not really, we all know you ladies are angels really!)

              Blessings.

              • A few things to think about if you wish.

The Book of Enoch was wide read in the 2ed, and 1st centry BC. Enoch is written about in the Bible, and Jesus stated as it was in the time of Noah. The Book of Enoch has a lot of powerful Angels.

We would not want all those pagans who can not read, or write start praying to Angels now would we? I mean, they are parying to all kinds of gods right now. Back when the Bible was being put together.

The Book of Enoch was not inspired? Yet, what Enoch wrote was placed as the reason for the flood in the Bible. Don’t you think that is strange? I have read the Book of Enoch. It appears to me it was left out for fear many would worship Angels. Kind of like they worship Mary, and pray to the dead these days.

                • Leatherneck,

If it is not inspired then it has no place amongst the other 66 inspired little books and therefore is irrelevant….2 Tim 3:16….Key word “inspired”

Beware, it could contain untruth and distortion of truth. The choice is yours of course.

                  Blessings.

                • The Book of Enoich could only be inspired to even write of the coming of the Son of Man that would rule with His Father in the end of the age and would save many. Maybe Richard you have not read all the books of Enoch? If you did I suspect you would question why someone so long ago would tell about Jesus over and over again without being inspired of His Father in Heavan?

Those questions cannot be ignored that Enoch confessed the Deity of the Son of Man.

              • For the thousand year rule of the Papal whores, no matter what Catholicism teaches and I have been well versed in their trashing of Jewery and Protestant churches, the Bible and the Book of Enoch which were widely read and free to read before, were outlawed to all people except the Catholic clergy or the ruling elites. This was a fact for the Jews as well. Think of why Satan would want and win such a victory over reading either book and why God would keep them in Ethiopia as well as Dead Sea Caves to prove both the Bible and the books of Enoch were not so easily destroyed by the Papal degeneration that brought about the vile dark and Medieval ages to the earth. While the Catholic Church kept the Words of G-d in their Latin darkness with their Papal whores God was busy bringing the right to read for all mankind and the right to print out and read the Word of God to mankind as well as restoring real history of the earth He has been restoring Judea, Israel to the Jews. So much is restoring and returning to our knowledge of that which was wiped out in an attempt to blind mankind to the voice of our Father in Heavan. No Richard your words do not list the facts as much as typical doctrines that refute history at every turn.

I do not claim to understand it all but I will not believe lies any more and do seek out why the book of Enoch is quoted so many times in scripture if it was not ordained of God. I continue to ask these questions but I go to the Jews and the Lord for the deeper understanding and give scorn its place away from the Seekers of God and HIs wonderful story of salvation of Yeshua the Son of Man for the sins of man, that is the heart stone of the Books of Enoch. He that confesses that Jesus is the Son of God is of the Lord is what Jesus told His disciples. And that is all that Enoch talks about throughout His books.

                • Hi Marie Jean,

I pray that you and your husband are well.

Yes I believe that the Book of Enoch was inspired too.

Just the fact that within the New Testament scriptures, (which are surely inspired), Enoch is mentioned as being a prophet within Jude and that he was “caught up” to God because of his faith in Hebrews, should be evidence enough to substantiate the validity of his writings.

The book itself is a wonderful and amazing read and testimony.

Be Blessed in Yeshua our Precious Savior, and Glorious KING of kings.
                  Amen.

                  a.

                  • hello alienated, and I am so glad to hear your thoughts on Enochs books. The one thing I have always noticed is the wonderful love that Enoch bears to Jesus and the fact that He is mostly what he talks about. He saw the Son of Man with the Father and I was amazed when I read the books the first time, how much he speaks about the Jews and our wonderful Saviour, the Son of God. For books found in the Dead Sea Scroll and confirming the Ethiopic texts I am amazed how old they are and how they were recovered with the other wonderful books of scripture, restored for man to read again, as a confirmation as it were. I do not wonder why the Papacy tried to stop their being translated for the world for whom they were meant since it is was they who removed them from the earth. The original translator in charge was a Catholic patsey who refused to allow the Dead Sea scrolls released. I have many books written about this archaeologist crime.I understand why Jewery did not mind their removal because all Enoch seems to do is talk about our wonderful Saviour but, what is amazing is how could anyone speak with such clarity of Yeshua so long before He arrived unless he was bidden of God to reveal the secret and hope of the Son of God to mankind before the flood and after the flood. A wonderful gift of God’s faithfullness passed down to mankind and I thank our Gracious Lord and His Hebrew children for their faithfullness in the keeping of these oracles for which so many of us are so blessed daily in knowing how much God loved the world since so long ago.

                    • Hi Marie Jean,

Yes, I agree with everything you say above.
For those that haven’t read it yet, I would highly recommend it.

Be Blessed in Yeshua our Precious Savior and Heavenly KING of kings.
                      Amen.

          • Hi alienated,

I believe I read some of your above post before. I agreed with it then, and I agree you may be correct . The Holy Spirit appears to be guiding you in your understanding of the Bible, and in so doing, you are reaching many with a more true truth.

Richard, I never wrote Noah was anything other than fully human.

            alienated,

I read in Jubulies, or the Book of Enoch that the people who believe in what Noah was preaching was made to go to sleep right before the flood. I thought that that was like the rapture before the wrath of G-d comes on the earth. Also, known as the last 3.5 years of the Tribulation. Thoughts?

It seems to me, a lot of pagan religions point to gods that interacted, and will come back to their human worshipers. As Lucifer knows the end is near, and it knows the Bible better than anyone, it will decieve as best as it can. Perhaps, a UFO landing with the Nephilim interacting with humans as space brothers. A lie, but the New Age is ready for a big lie. Anything other than repenting to G-d the Father in Christ’s name.

One last thing to you. I believe it is time you stop worrying what others think about what you write, or what they think of you. Do what G-d has placed in you to do with power of the Holy Ghost. Christ is watching. Also, be nice even when folks mock you.

            • Bless you brother.

That is the attitude that I am more or less taking.
Your last sentence though is easier said then done. lol.

(It’s this being “flesh” stuff again, that makes that difficult.)

Be Blessed in Yeshua our Precious Savior, and KING of kings.
              Amen.

              Love,
              a.

            • Leatherneck,

Yes I know you did not say Noah was anything
less than fully human, but my point is, that comparison with another life form is not necessary to affirm Noah’s humanity, as we know he could not be anything else, but we are going one step too far in assuming that Noah’s
DNA was father to a sinless lineage, if that’s what you meant by pure DNA.

              Sorry, for any misunderstanding! 🙂

              Blessings.

              • I don’t think I wrote about pure DNA, just fully human DNA. Also, I agree we do not have to compare Noah with other life forms.

    • about seth:

What I mean is he did not live a lifestyle of sin, although on a daily basis he may have made mistakes.

God had a choice between Seth and Cain, and he chose Seth as the ancestor for Messiah.

god also had a choice between Noah and other people. Noah was a good man, who feared and obeyed God.

his family was not contaminated with nephilim DNA either, so god chose him to live, and kill everyone else. and everyone else was contaminated or in deep sin.

      • Hi Marianne,

I saw your note on Noahs family not being contaminated by nephilim. His sons where not but there is evidence of Ham’s wife being so. If you follow all the geneologys of the giants to Goliath they are all decendant from Ham. That’s how we had giants after the flood. You can also see God destroying these tribes through the Old Testament. It appears God was erasing the nephilim DNA again, after the flood.

  42. very interesting work.. however trying to interpret the scriptures that way is a fall into the pit of its own..

please watch this.. and you shall understand.. the entrance to heaven.. and the botomless pit.. and why the people were still alive.. when they fell down it..

    thank you.. blessings to all

  43. Dear Marianne,

Thanks for the information you have presented here. Indeed I must agree your presentations are wonderful, and again you do admit that it is purely theoretical on various fronts, especially that the world has been drastically changed since its creation.

Yet recall that at the finalizing of creation, it was said that everything was good, presumably according to a particular plan. At the fall of Adam and Eve, none of the curses for any of the parties entailed a drastic re-configuration of the earth, except for the basic flora and productivity. Also the flood may have covered much land, but at its end, nothing is said to have changed much, for indeed as you state, Mt Ararat was still where it ought to have been.

I believe the major unresolved issue has been the parting of one river into four heads. This is what I also believe has been resolved by the Elders of the south key (Crux), and the land typified by it. For it is indeed true that its region of influence clearly along the Gatundu line, which extends from the peaks of the Mt Kenya and Ngong Hills does indeed pass through the Mt Ararat, which I now learn from your maps that this was the Head of the Euphrates, and that does include the Tigris. Southward, the line touches all the rest of the major Heads of the rivers of South Africa, including the Orange River. Westward, it begins with the head waters of the Nile, which is at Lake Victoria at Jinja in Uganda and annexes all the head waters of the West of Africa, then passes the Atlantic and joins all the head waters of the North America. Eastward it does get to the Head waters of Australia, including the Alice springs and on to New Zealand, and across the Indian ocean, as well as the Atlantic, the lines (Gatundu line, and Thiririka lines) do touch on the origins of the winds that really feed the various springs of Asia and Europe, as well as God knows where else.

The one center is at the Gatundu/thiririka in Kenya, the other intersect must be some place in the Pacific, that I have not had resources to work on. As such, I theorize as follows, that Eden essentially has been the typification of both the Amazon and Congo equatorial jungles. The garden of Eden however is to be found east of where the four head waters are accounted from. Thus this only corresponds to the land of the great fig, the Gikuyu land that is between the MT Kenya and the Ngong hills, south of the Gatundu line. Incidentally, the rivers of this land flow eastward, and they are they that form the Sabaki, and the Thagana. This Sabaki is it that constitutes the Fourteen falls at the Kilima Mbogo annex.

I visited the falls only yesterday, and indeed it is true, that this Eden has fallen into a pit over the last century or so. For the smell of the falls is purely sewerage that flows through the city of Nairobi, and all the river is completely polluted. Tears welled into my eyes when I observed the locals haveing to have their water first treated in a desewering plant, or whatever they call such a contraption, and I could only marvel at the blindness of the world, for Kenya’s woes stem not only with its local leadership, but also with the rest of the world. In fact, it was an American who once occupied this land next to the Mountain of God, and the waterfall monument (cherubims), and at one time the great Roosevelt spent several months on holiday in debauchery at these locations.

Recall that Adam was cast out of Eden and thereby could not partake of the tree of life and live eternally in sin. The cherubim likewise keep the way of the tree of life, and not the way to< for the tree of life is a way of life, rather than a mere physical manifestation. This way of life was it that the entire scriptures throughout the way and journey of redemption has been re-establishing, for at the fall, such did humanity through its ancestry reject the way of the tree of life, and rather opted for the way of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, whose attribute is the death of the earth itself ultimately. Thus the physical Eden was of no use to anyone, nor the trees of life, for man had rejected by his actions this way, and opted for another. The battle therefore must first be worn in the spirit/mind, and thereafter shall the way of the tree of life be manifest, in Christ Jesus, and when we study our history as men, our achievement in the knowledge of good and evil, we shall certainly realize that that is the way of death. Most of human civilization is as such, for as long as one law is disobeyed, the resultant is usually chaos and death. In all our contraptions of modern science, we are each day learning that none is that bears no instructions of use, with the do-nots. If you run your petrol engine with water, or diesel, it will certainly fail. Thus it was at creation, that man was given the simple rules, Do not pass beyond the Gatundu line in all your endeavors. Thus simply put, do not eat of the forbidden fruit, and do not cultivate in the natural water courses not establish your dwellings there. But they just had to ignore great advise, and to this day, this component of Eden that I behold daily, likewise speaks of the four heads that are the entire world water springs and river valleys, and you only have to visit your nearest stream that crosses a city and human occupied land, and you will realize what certainly ails the earth.

I do not claim this theory on Edens location to be it, and it only, for all I can do is to speak up the insights provided to me of the Lord. I believe there is a purpose and an end to all these inspirations that I've been lately endowed with, and in that my sphere of influence remains as constricted as has been for some years, all I can do is to await on the Land, as I quest for as much wisdom from Him as He will to share. You cannot imagine how excited I've been in all these discoveries. I'm almost done with identifying the ten species of the tree of life, but the way of the tree of life that I can already tell, which is obedience to each and every edict of the Lord, for it was granted in the great wisdom and for the sustenance of life, whether it be in the flesh or in any other form. The Law of God is good and supreme, His word is the light of the world.

Blessings and thanks for your page. I'm certain the post I sent you likewise does fulfill the edict of communion.

  45. alexander the great wanted to enter to garden of eden but the angels didnt let him pass trough they gave him a human eye that symbols all of the human desires when he got back with the eye they brought a scale and puted the eye on one side and tons of gold on the other side and the scale didnt move they put some dirt on the eye and the scale moved it means that all human desires end in the dirt and become dirt after a man passed away!!!

  46. I read the article, it was interesting, however, the geography is wrong. I have studied the scriptures my entire life and the conclusions I have reached concerning the original location for eden are as follows. Based on my research: the main river from which the four rivers flowed from was the nile river, however, the nile river begins in the interior of the African continent and flows from south to north ending up in the Mediterranean sea. The garden of eden was and still is in Kenya in east Africa. In fact when looking at a land like Egypt which is Misraim, the land mass for that country is really suposed to stretch from one end of the nile to the other. The land of Israel (Yasharal) according to scripture is inside Africa, the land know as Israel today is palestian land and not the acient homeland of the israelites. Maps have been changed and distorted to hide the accurate locations of many of the lands mentioned in the scriptures, which in reality were much more massive than the tiny little lands of today. It is written that the river that flowed “east of eden” went into Assyria meaning that the garden of eden was west of what is today known as the midle east, and if you travel west than you end up back in Africa, plus the flaming sword mentioned in the scriptures was lava from a volcano that blocked off the opening to the garden of eden. Kenya has 22 active volcanos right now. The garden of eden was not in the so called middle east at all.

    • dwaine

any changes in the land masses occurred before Israel was established thousands of years ago, and before they left egypt to go there. it was canaan then…

modern archaeology proves the ancient israelites lived in modern day Israel…

as to where the garden of eden was, that is a different story, and you might be right about the nile river.

      • What it is that I am trying to say is that entire maps and text books have been distorted in order to cut off Africa from the so called middle east. The term middle east did not exist before the 1700 – 1800s. It would have been impossible to fit 12 tribes of people until such a small strip of land that they had to sure with 11 Canaanite tribes, as well as Edomites, Ishmaelites, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, etc. What is now called the middle east was originally the border land mass that separated Africa and Asia Babylon/Persia. In Genesis 15:18 it is prophesied that the land of Israel would stretch from the Mizraim to the Euprates, however, in Joshua 1:4, its says that the land of Israel would be expanded unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun. Now where is the great sea that is mentioned in this verse? The great sea mentioned is not the Mediterranean sea which is not a great vast sea at all. As well the verse the stated that the great sea would be towards the going down of the sun. This is where geography works, the sun rises in the east over the sea of Japan and the sun sets in the west over the Atlantic ocean, therefore Africa is the land of Israel, as well Africa and Canaan are one in the same, throughout the scriptures what is now called Africa is called Canaan and the land of Ham, Cham, Kham, Khan, Han. Psalm 105 is a perfect example where is says that Israel dwealt in the land of Ham.

  47. notes from genesis and isaiah – the dead sea?

  48. The Bible does not say Noah landed on Mount Ararat.

    It says mountains of Ararat.
