Holiness unto the Lord. Let us return !

The current lack of holiness:

Sometimes I am grieved by the apostasy, uncleanness of thought, and unrepentant sinfulness demonstrated by those who falsely call themselves Christians. Have we completely lost awareness of the holiness of God? Do we dare to assume that He will accept us when we have chosen our will and ways over His? Many people are fooling themselves, to think God will just have to deal with us. This is rebellion. And scripture says that rebellion is akin to witchcraft:

1Sam 15:23For rebellion [is as] the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness [is as] iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from [being] king.

What makes people think they can get away with this? I feel they have lost the fear of the Lord, the ability to stand in awe of who He is, out of pride and rebellion. There is no humility, and earnest desire to truly know Him and please Him.

Unless we humble ourselves, and turn from our wicked ways, and seek His face, we will not only face personal rejection by Him, we will also face the consequences of a failed nation. Once the nation fails, the enemy will flood in, and we will lose our chance to witness for the Lord. It will be difficult enough to stand in judgment some day before the Lord, and confess how we have failed personally, but how will we confess how we have failed an entire nation, leading to the eternal destruction of souls, rather than their salvation? We will have to answer for every person that ended up in hell due to our rebellion, apathy, and pride.

It is time to step up to God’s standards of Holiness, and let His truth shine through us, to give Him the glory due Him. We should strive for only the very best, and have the heart to be concerned over others who live in spiritual darkness. If we strive for holiness, then other problems we see in the body of Christ will start to disappear.

Let us return to the beauty of holiness, in love and honor and worship! Let us ONLY want His will on earth, and not ours! Let us lose ourselves in who He is, and forget our own ways! Let us fall in adoration of the Most Holy, the Most Beautiful, the Most Sovereign, the Most Pure, the Most Powerful, and the Most Worthy of our praises.!!!!!

God’s will about holiness is reflected in these scriptures:

Exd 15:11 Who [is] like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who [is] like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful [in] praises, doing wonders?

1Ch 16:29 Give unto the LORD the glory [due] unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Psa 93:5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.

Psa 96:9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

Isa 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it [shall be] for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err [therein].

Oba 1:17 But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

2Cr 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Hbr 12:14 Follow peace with all [men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
