God, who is Gawd, who is Gad

clip_image002

-

Is “God” a name?

-

The original text indicates the word for our Creator is Elohim or Yahweh (Jehovah, depending on the pronunciation).

Those in the middle east still keep the “el” or “al” sounds as the word for the Creator.

-

-

Where did the English word “God” come from?

One unsettling explanation is here:

Isaiah 65:11

But you are those who forsake the Lord,

Who forget my holy mountain,

Who prepare table for Gad.

And who furnish a drink offering for Meni.

The words God (English) and Gad (Hebrew) are pronounced exactly the same way: “Gawd”

God / Gawd / Gad was a pagan deity, so why do we call the Father in heaven by this pagan name?

Scripture says we should not defile his name, or even speak the name of another god, which would give it recognition and possible merit.

Exd 23:13 And in all [things] that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

So, why are we pronouncing the name of God / Gawd / Gad?

Deut 12:3-4 says that we should, instead, destroy the images and names of false gods:

And you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars, and burn their wooden images with fire: you shall cut down their carved images of the gods and destroy their names from that place.

The Lord indicates that only by his name are we saved.

I am wondering how many useless prayers are made to “God / Gawd / Gad.”

This word has no power, no redemption. There may be no answer to these prayers as well.

-

Conclusion:

In our prayers, we should be using the proper names Yahweh / Jehovah to indicate the correct deity to whom we are praying.

In our conversation, we should not use the term “God,” but the proper name of Yahweh, or Jehovah, instead.

Otherwise, we appear to be corrupting the name of Yahweh, or making reference to a different deity.

*** When in doubt, address the Father, in Jesus name. Not even the Jews know how to pronounce the name of the Creator, so they just call Him “Hashem,” or “The Name.”

Gad – etymology, a form of God

…………………………………………………………………

“Gad is another ordinary common noun in Hebrew. It means ‘good luck’. We all want as much of it as we can get. So it is not surprising that it became a proper noun, the name of some people, a tribe of Israel, and a god. The god Gad was not ordinarily identified with Baal. But the identities of ancient Mediterranean gods were quite fluid, so it wouldn’t be surprising if the two deities were identified with each other somewhere at some time.”

The Correction Definition Of The Word God:
Gad is a Syrian or Canaanite deity of good luck or fortune. In Hebrew, it is written GD, but with Massoretic vowel-pointing, it is “Gad.” Other Scriptural references to a similar deity, also written GD, have a vowel-pointing giving us “Gawd” or “God.” Gad, or Gawd is identified with Jupiter, the Sky-deity or the Sun-deity. “

  1. Jesus said to address god as FATHER..

  2. I’ve known Yahweh as G-d since I was 6……

    • I feel strongly that G-d/Yahweh/Creator knows our heart and knows who is genuinely calling out to him and who isn’t. I have NEVER called on Satan for anything, period, and this prophet guy from this link http://www.illuminati-news.com/god-is-satan.htm
is really stretching it. I have always called on the Name of G-d my entire life in Jesus name and He has always kept me safe and heard my prayers, always.

  3. I have just received news of your latest post at http://heavenawaits.wordpress.com/god-who-is-gawd-who-is-gad/

The names Yahweh or Jah or Jehova are ALSO false namess and should never be used. Jesus is God, He is no separate person but the fleshly manifestation of the Father whom is Spirit.

Call Him Jesus or call Him Father but never one of those other names. Jesus is no substitute for our Father, He is just another format for the purpose of bearing the sins of Adam.

Please also look at Pastor Reckart’s website which is enormously educational and insightful. By yesterday morning, I became very frustrated by the eleven or so Bible translations that contradict each other and I once again asked Jesus to lead me to the truth about the TRUTH. His page is the only one of hundreds that make perfect sense in line with how Jesus revealed Himself to me.

    http://jesus-messiah.com/

Very insightful, to say the least.

    • Umlungu,

Could I please ask for clarification as to what you are trying to say here?
      Above you say…
“The names Yahweh or Jah or Jehovah are ALSO false names and should never be used. Jesus is God, He is no separate person but the fleshly manifestation of the Father whom is Spirit.”

Are you saying that you don’t believe in the Trinity?

Then you contradict what you have just said by saying the following, with…

“Call Him Jesus or call Him Father but never one of those other names. Jesus is no substitute for our Father, He is just another format for the purpose of bearing the sins of Adam.”

First you say that Jesus is God,(a name you group with Yahweh,
Jah,and Jehovah, as being ALSO a false name) Then you say that Jesus is no substitute for the Father? What’s up with that?

Also, as far as Jesus being,”just another format for the purpose of bearing the sins of Adam”, as you say, to me just sounds sort of flippant. Or have you just forgotten about Colossians 1:16?

Sorry dude, but you’re not making any sense to me.

        Dear Buck

        Assumptions:

        1. For the sake of his discussion, I still use the name GOD when meaning El Shaddai or Adonai, just as I did before. It is easier for you to understand.

        2. Old Testament is in Hebrew whilst the New Testament is in Greek. You will see that I grab original language and insert it here and there, from Strong’s Greek. (Strong’s is quite accurate yet not perfect.)

The Bible has many translation errors in it, some even intentional. Also, the English language falls short of certain ways of expression simply because the English culture do not have those aspects and does not need “more language.” Already therein lies a problem of interpretation. My own mother tongue is Afrikaans, which is mostly Germanic whereas English is Romanic. (Afrikaans is a native African language born of settlers from the Netherlands, Germany and France, mainly but also with minor influences such as Malay, Nguni and Pedi languages. It is fairly similar to Flemish today,)

Also, I am not contradicting myself – I think it is more a matter of you possibly not comprehending what I am saying. Culture shock – for decades, I had made the very same mistake, don’t worry.

        TRINITY

We get the trinity idea through our mother’s milk, we cut our teeth on it. We see nativity plays with three wise men (in fact, we don’t know how many they were) as they had brought three gifts. See how easy it is to fool millions?

The trinity does not exist in the Bible and also not in Colossians 1:16-16, I have tried 7 translations, even with Strong’s Hebrew and Greek. Of course, you can find it in there if you want to, or if your preconceived ideas lead you to believe so. Don’t worry, we all do that, as did I for decades.

Just as we are essentially spiritual beings “made lesser than the angels for a brief period” we see that Jesus in human manifestation also regards Himself lesser than our Father. Don’t get confused with personalities, see it in the light of majestical roles to play.

I am schooled and experienced in reading financial and tax law, also in reading and writing computer instructions. My approach to reading is clinical and I look out for punctuation, etc., as a comma can change a nation. I once inherited money that should have gone to someone else, it came to me thirty years after the death of a great-uncle, when his widow died. A lawyer placing a comma in the wrong place around 1960 made me an heir in 1995.

In reading the Bible, we need to also understand that Adonai El Shaddai is free to manifest or appear according to the functional need of any situation. He can burn in the bush without burning the bush if He so prefers. In the format of Iesous (Jesus) He also appears as a slaughtered Lamb standing upright and with seven eyes, which are the Spirits of God.”

It is all screenplay with a function as every symbol and metaphor represents something. El Shaddai is named Elohim = plural = many different majesties in one person, for different functions.

Trinity: John 1 verses 1-14 solve the riddle. Even here, I can interpolate a trinity concept if I wanted to. If I have to start creating new gods from every different appearance of Him, I will end up having a colourful bouquet in my hand. Let us underline what is important:

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with the God, and the Word was God. (Logos was Theos.) 2 The same was in the beginning with the God. 3 All things were made by him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness apprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name [was] John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all [men] through him might believe. 8 He was not the Light, but [was sent] to bear witness of the Light. (Phos) 9 [That Word] was the true Light, which lightens every man that comes into this world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name, 13 who are not born of blood, nor of the will of flesh (sarx) , nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth. John 1:1-14 (English Jubilee 2000 Bible)

In short, Word/Logos was first and was Theos/God. He was made flesh (no, not a new person created but the same was made flesh) so that we could see the Father by looking at Iesous/Jesus.

Where do you see the trinity in here? The body count just increased to 9 or was reduced to 2, depending upon whether the seven as seven spirits are seen as a) separate entities or b) part of the Lamb.

6 I saw a Lamb standing in front of the throne and the four living beings, and in front of the leaders. It looked as if it had been killed. It had seven horns and seven eyes. They are the seven Spirits of God who are sent out all over the earth. Revelation 5:6 (Bible in Worldwide English)

It becomes interesting now. Apparently juggling randomly with names, or not even an intelligible one, He appears to have an “identity crisis” to the uninitiated. Note the functional application of names down below, in keeping with His functional manifestation.

11 Then I saw heaven open, and I saw a white horse! The One who rode him is called ‘One who can be Trusted’ and ‘The True One’. Now He has a name…. He punishes and makes war in the right way. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire. On his head were many crowns. He had a name written on him, but no man knew what it was but he himself. ….and now He “doesn’t” 13 He wore clothes that had been dipped in blood. His name is ‘The Word of God’. 14 The armies of heaven followed him on white horses and they were dressed in fine linen, shining and clean. 15 A long knife or sword comes from his mouth. With it he will punish and control the people of the nations. He will rule them with an iron stick. He is like the winepress that presses the water out of the fruit. It is the place where God, who has all power, shows his great anger. 16 A name is written on his clothes and on his leg: it is King of kings, and Lord of lords. 17 I saw an angel standing in the sun. He called in a loud voice to all the birds that fly across the sky. He said, ‘Come, gather for God’s big feast. Revelation 19:11-17 (Bible in Worldwide English)

It is evident that we have traditionally based our trinity concept upon partial understanding. If computers and a plethora of Bible translations with concordances and dictionaries were available back then, the riddle may have been solved earlier. Here I am with a basic computer and CLICK! A whole new world opens up to me by only using my pointer digit :)

        NAMES

        Link: The Sacred Name

Yahweh is NOT a Hebrew name.

The following are the correct or true names:

        1. Adonai – as used by Abraham

        2. El Shaddai – also as used by Abraham

        3. Jesus (the) Christ (Note that the use of the Greek Iesous is also disputed by some)

        4. Father – as suggested by Jesus. http://www.whyapostolic.com/html/jesus.html

Use the links as above, quite interesting.

In Genesis, “Elohim” is attributed the role of creator. The word is in the plural to depict various majesties vested in Him.

How we represent and depict “God” or El Shaddai, may influence Jews and Muslims in their decision to get saved or not. Perhaps to us true believers, how we call God may not be that important to either him or us, but it could mean the difference between “heaven or hell” for them. I grew up in a Jewish neighbourhood from ages 12 – 18. I also now live in between a Jewish and a Muslim neighbourhood and I deal with them on a daily basis. Jews and Muslims get along quite well, it is Christianity with its many fallacies and inconsistencies that keeps them away from Jesus.

We have found that, when we explain Jesus to be God, they readily accept Him. Saving up souls is our duty here on earth, as these are the only luggage allowed in. Do not let an unfounded and unproven trinity theory keep others in the Smokin’ section of heaven, called Hell.

And maybe we should try not to call God bad nicknames given by evil men. “How to win friends and influence people” may be good reading material on this subject.

Have a blessed day in Christ Jesus!

*1 John 5:7 is taken out of most of the newer translations. It is found, however, in the King James Version which is first translation from Hebrew to English. The KJV is the most accurate translation we have…notice it mentions the TRINITY.

              Dear Marianne, Buck & Lindsey

I really don’t mind if you nudge me into the right direction if I have it wrong. Perhaps if you understand where I come from, the open persecution that we have been subjected to over the past 12 years, no less severe than Christians experienced in the Soviet Union . This is South Africa , a supposedly democratic country BUT the brethren will see you dead if you do ANYTHING that does not FULLY comply with them. Marianne knows my background, it really is way different from what you may be experiencing.

12 years and 25+ churches later, we left church altogether because, while in a very compromised position, we were being unfairly exploited, abused, intimidated, threatened, even assaulted, ridiculed in public……….by people and pastors whom:

              1. refuse to worship with other races.

              2. persecute and oust those having the believers’ baptism

              3. deny the deity of Jesus

              4. follow harlot spirits like Toronto Blessing

              5. reject the old testament entirely

              6. oust or shun those whom in their opinion do not have the Holy Spirit

              7. reject the need for being reborn

              8. split up families

              9. take accommodation away from poor people

              10. slander and gossip

              11. divide the congregation

              12. have indecent affairs

              13. allow a convicted child molester to present youth camps even AFTER he was sentenced NOT to ever be in contact with children again. so they condone his erroneous conduct and are accessories to the crime of being in contempt of the court.

The list is endless. If their teaching and ethics are wrong even on the most basic of things, why will they suddenly be right about the Trinity? ALL of their other teaching AND their conduct says the opposite of what Jesus had taught.

OK, so I challenge you – prove me wrong with FACTS.

**** Message sent to me to be posted by Umlungu for Buck

              • Look Umlungu,

I am so sorry that you happen to live in a country where you are persecuted for your faith.
Really, I have no idea as to what that would be like.
To not only have to go through the trials of life that we all experience, but to also be persecuted in my desire to practice my faith, is something that I simply can’t comprehend.

My heart sincerely goes out to you regarding that, and I will throw up a prayer for you tonight.

However, I have to say that at the same time, some of your posts come across as if you believe you are the “be all and end all” of knowledge, here to feed us poor little lost sheep.

You don’t present your Theology, or
Hermeneutics as being potentially a possibility.
Instead you present them as being factually conclusive, whether they may be possibly in error, or not.

Which I find, if I were to be honest, an attempt to be controlling and domineering. Sort of the same as you accuse others in your country as being towards you.

Though you state in the beginning of this post that I am responding to,”I really don’t mind if you nudge me into the right direction if I have it wrong.” I see no heartfelt sincerity in that statement. Simply because of the verbal gauntlet that you close with,”OK, so I challenge you – prove me wrong with FACTS.”

You simply appear to have this big chip on your shoulder.

The same as you state that we know little about you, you as well, know little of us.
                (Or more specifically, me.)

You have no idea as to how long I have been born again, the depth of my relationship with the Lord, or the time that has been spent in my attempt to understand what I hope to be His truth.

Now please don’t misunderstand me here, I don’t pretend to have all the answers. I have no problem admitting that I don’t possess the capacity to comprehend God.
Even after all of the years that I have invested in trying to understand Him, and His ways, the only thing that I really know for sure is, “That the more you learn, the more you realize how little you know.”
                And perhaps also that,
“You shouldn’t necessarily believe everything that you believe.”
Simply because in doing that, you can inadvertently end up placing God within the “box” of that belief system.

                Anyways, regarding your challenge.
After some prayer, the Lord has not laid it on my heart to be the one to enlighten you about this.
                Sorry.
Perhaps, as you seek the truth for yourself, it is something He will reveal to you in His own timing.

I would suggest that instead of utilizing the computer, and allowing others to sway your thought process one way or the other, that you go directly to the source, and inquire to Him about the matter.

If you won’t accept 1 John 5:7 KJV,
which was translated from the original Greek manuscripts, there isn’t much that I could say, that would possibly change your mind.

Good Luck, and may Christ be with you.

      • Isaiah 9;6-7 and John 1:1 says a lot about who Jesus is. He is defined as Everlasting Father.

  4. None of us would be too chuffed when we are called bad names, we won’t like to do favours for those using unsuited monikers for us…..why should our Father be overflowing with joy when we call Him “satan” or “pig??”

    • No Christian or Jew or any G-d believing person has ever called G-d the above. Your insane!!

      • **** Comment sent by Umlungu to Marianne to post:

Perhaps I have seen and experienced more than you did. Calling me insane is a personal attack and not discussing the issue. Play the ball, not the man. In my country it is a criminal offence to even say what you did.

You have NO background of where I am from, what I have seen, what hell on earth I had been through with my precious family yet you are quick to judge.

As for the names God is called, you did not even for a moment research the material and the links that I have presented.

But thanks – you have just confirmed a very strongly reinforced view that Christians are unloving – one day you may end up in a position akin to what I am in, then remember what you have said.

        • We are not unloving-just not tolerant of attacks of our G-D and His precious Name AND the TRINITY as a whole. I will rephrase my comment to “your comment is insane”…this whole topic is insane. G-D is G-d…we, as Christians know who He is and only call upon HIM-not Satan, of whose name is not worth mentioning-ever.

      • lyndsey

That is not what he meant. He was saying to call the Father by a pagan name is the same as calling the Father an evil name.

  5. I have heard this, and wondered, there are many :Gods” but I will call him Abba . it is hard to break the cycle that we were taught from the very beginning, so what about Yeshua? some call him “Jesus” that did not come from the Bible, well todays Bible has it..The Bible also teaches us that we will KNOW his name…

  6. To everyone.

Yahweh or Jehovah is the best attempt to pronounce Yud- heh – vav- heh.

When in doubt, address the Father, in Jesus name.

  7. The English word God comes from an Indo-European root meaning “He who is worshipped”. It can be seen in the German “Gott” and Hindi and Persian “Khoda”.Whether there is any connection to the Hebrew “Gad” is unknown. To Christians, the true God is best known as “Father” although OT names such as Yahweh, Elohim and El Shaddai are certainly acceptable. The English term “God” is also acceptable providing we distinguish Him from other gods by indicating He is the Father of Jesus Christ. This is the reason we are instructed to always pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

  8. Another note: Besides being many gods, there are also many Jesuses. Yeshua, translierates “Iesous” in Greek, was a common Hebrew name. Joshua in the Old Testament had the same name. In the Hispanic culture today, there are many people named Jesus. Therefore it is important, when we pray that we indicate which Jesus we are talking about. Therefore note that all prayer recorded in the Book of Acts and in the Pauline epistles is always in the name of Jesus Christ.

  9. Whoa Brothers and Sisters,

I think that there is the possibility, that we can all get carried away with this subject. As I have stated before in a previous post to Lyndsey,…
We as Christians seem to place too much emphasis on “ourselves”.

    It isn’t “us”.

We were first drawn to the Father by the Holy Spirit. We were then Saved by our belief in Lord Yeshua. And with that we became His sheep, and children of the Most High. We hear His voice, and He most certainly hears ours, simply because we have established a relationship as being one of family.

I don’t believe what name we choose to utilize,to call out to, and worship,is more important than the motivation and sincerity of our heart.
I think that is our ultimate responsibility here.
To be open, and pure with the intentions of our heart.

To suggest that this or that name is right or wrong,or that we have to do things this way,and not that way, sounds a little too close to the churchanity, and legalism that we all appear to have a problem with.

When we pray humbly, and with reverence through the Spirit that indwells us all,He,no matter how we refer to Him personally, knows exactly through our hearts desire, who we wish to share communion with.

    Just my opionion,
    Shalom,

    • Agree! And this is also another reason to have the Holy Spirit indwelling us-living inside of us as Jesus promised. The Holy Spirit knows what name to use and so when we PRAY IN THE SPIRIT we have most often called upon the name that is a mystery-needless to say, we have direct contact with G-d/Yahweh/Creator/Elohim/Abba Father….period!

  10. Ben,

You are right that God looks on the heart rather than the words we use. However, the reason for choosing accurate words is as an example to others that they can be led to accurate Biblical doctrine.

    • Thank you for your comment Richard,

I agree that the accuracy of words are important. Hence one should utilize Hebrew, and Greek lexicons during their Biblical study,to receive through inspired revelation, the correct context as to what is being said.

However, the subject here appears to be what the correct terminology is to be utilized when we call out to God, and whether or not He will hear us, or even acknowledge us if we use the wrong name?

      Shalom

BTW, Ben-Ha’or is transliterated Hebrew for “Son of light”

  11. I think His name is very important,I think it is important to know he is Yahweh, the Great I am, he was and always has been, Yeshua said that if you see him you see the Father. He is Yahweh, Read Isaiah 43:7-8. Yahweh says that I am He,I am the only savior. Why are we being deceived? why is this Not taught at churches?

    • Deb

Words are meaningful and powerful, so yes, names are important. The young mothers of nowadays whom are making up these awkward composite names are raising a new type of identity crisis.

I am nowhere leagilstic but liberalism also has its boundaries, common sense goes no further than that. My guess is that you will be as astonished as I was when I learnt that the names YAHWE and Jah and Jeshua are also wrong.

Check this out – wear a seatbelt.

      http://www.yahwehism.com/html/sacred-name.html

      • EHYEH is the future tense of the verb “to be”

The person on that link does not understand Hebrew or Aramaic. And you cannot pull words apart, drop letters, and create new meanings from what was intended.

No one knows how to pronounce YHVH so they make an attempt and say Yahweh. It is not done out of a twisted intention.

At the bush, the Lord actually said…..I shall be that I shall be.”

So the I AM translation is wrong…that is present tense, not future tense.

I am or I shall be are verbs, not nouns…..so neither are the names of the Lord.

Although the page is long, with lots of strange interpretations, I do not find it correct.

  13. Dear Lindsey

I am a disabled man with bad health, at the hand of Christians had been arrested and had to sit in police custody three times now, lost all I ever owned, saw my son arrested on a Christmas day……ridiculed, intimidates, assaulted, abused…..finally got assaulted by racist black police on Good Friday, 2009 and got my coccyx damaged so that I cannot even SIT any more, I can just lie down or walk, but not sit or stand (for a different reason.)

My family and I had to move at as little as a few minutes’ notice THIRTY SIX TIMES WITH NOWHERE TO GO AND NO TRANSPORT, KICKED OUT ON THE PAVEMENT EVEN PAST MIDNIGHT by own family, Christians and especially pastors. Even the name PASTOR has become a SWEAR WORD in my house.

On the Internet, where I had been helping American teens when the horrors of high school became too much and they mutilated themselves, a PARENT ousted me because I said something about SMOKING. The damned parent wants to fix the American government, is vocal about how wrong all others are and DEFENDS HER SIN OF ADDICTION seemingly with her last drop of blood.

That her children had to take ice cold showers and went hungry during a Minnesota winter seemed to have escaped her. Her constitutional right is to SMOKE and kill with her bare hands anyone whom even (as I did) inadvertently step on her toes!

I see that supposedly spirit-filled Christians get to run after all sorts of spiritual witchcraft in churches, running after gold dust falling from the skies or gold in teeth, etc.

In all things – be SOBER.

As for going to my Father to ask HIM about trinity, that is EXACTLY what I did and, over a period of THREE YEARS, that was the very clear answer HE had given me! That He is ONE GOD and that Jesus and the Father are ONE, that the Holy Spirit is HIM.

We are also a “trinity” yet each of us is ONE person! I am spirit, I have a soul and I live in a body. Even that is Biblical!

As I am desperately needy and poor and EVERY day is a fight for survival, not to get out on the street…….as the RESULT of how I was treated over 25 years in CHURCH, I became a very hard man as that is what is needed for SURVIVAL.

When dealing with Muslims, New Agers, animists, etc., I don’t need to be because, unlike 99% Christians, they have LOVE.

I live in a 7 bedroomed, dilapidated house where my wife and my 18-years old son lives with me. We pay PER DAY and cannot move because we cannot afford to. My wealthy cousin drives PAST my house and spends over a thousand US$ per night in Africa’s best hotel…..that is 5 week’s rent for me! he is a CHRISTIAN but I am not allowed to contact him.

My entire life is spent absolutely obeying God and remaining true to my calling, regardless. Unlike the vast majority of Christians who, instead of following their calling, are just doing their own thing!

This is my ONLY contact with the world out there…..and I cannot even afford this! That is why I emailed Marianne and asked her to post for me! Browsing takes 1 – 2 MB per click, so I rather use POP mail and use a few KB at a time.

From my tiny room, there is no view. I have to be in here always and listen to sounds from adjoining rooms that get rented out by the HOUR. Women screaming in ecstasy, we inhale the marijuana smoked by others, we live in a brothel but we are blood-washed Spirit-filled and very obedient disciples.

And very compromised. We live here partly because of God testing those around us – Jeremiah 6:27.

I see christians in witchcraft, Christians blaspheming (unknowingly) in tongues because they do not know to SHUT UP in church when there is no interpretation. On more than one occasion, witchdoctors could interpret “prayers in tongues” from Christians and it was blasphemy.

Talk about calling God bad names…….

I am EXPERIENCED to what you in your wildest dreams may not be able to imagine. Not hearsay, own experience, seasoned. And He knows how weary we as a family are….had to deal with pastors whom were fraudsters, stole money, extorted, even attending “worship in a coven” yet being a celebrity on a Cape Town Christian radio station!

And, even after he was exposed, the Christian radio station STILL has him on air – THREE YEARS later!

Put yourself in my shoes…..to see that, when we lived in freakin’ TOY TENTS in a pool of water with howling winds from the antarctic trying to blow us over…dark nights fighting to remain rooted to earth…even THEN they come in the name of Jesus and want to PROFIT from me!

Christianity is a false, very false religion whose followers follow their OWN MINDS and their religion, but NOT their very own misunderstood God!

I am signing OFF here, and won’t post any more.

Do you expect from me to be the “reasonable man” which is a test in court? Christians are quick to help others but FAIL THEIR OWN, with the exception of a precious FEW.

  15. False Christians give us a bad name don’t they? That is why he says what we follow our own minds. I’ve heard this for over 20 years from everyone. I know exactly what he’s talking about seeing all the withccraft, adultery, hate and sin in the Church.

But one thing is sure, there is a remant that has continued serving God, and they make up the true Church. They are not the ones who we see on television, or seen abusing the unsaved, but are found reaching out a hand to the poor and on their knee’s in prayer, and our Father knows them.

  16. Rev Williams, people whom wanted the gift of tongues for instance, to enhance their own ego’s, did get such a “gift” but were eventually blaspheming in the vilest way imaginable. Another wanted to show off in front of a Zulu witchdoctor and kept saying some unknown words, until the witchdoctor asked the other missionaries why this one kept saying “close the door” as a Zulu hut has no door.

Gideon could use 300 out of 32,000. That is less than one per cent. I am nor convinced the situation has improved as humans still wants our Father to adapt to them. His names has meaning and that is why we should call Him upon them. Even the word Amen! is an affirmation.

  17. 23 May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    In Jesaja 65: 11

the Gawd of ‘good luck’ is mentioned,
    but translated with ‘troop’

click in the link on the word ‘troop’

and you can see the original meaning:

    http://www.apostolic-churches.net/bible/strongs/isaiah_65.shtml

In this chapter of Jesaja (65)
YHWH is telling why He will punish Jacob
(this is Juda ánd EfraÏm- all tribes !)
    for not obeying Him !

    shalom

  19. Jehovah is not a proper man for Yahweh. J has no meaning. Hovah #1943 another form of 1942; means Ruin:- Mischief.

  20. The invocation by accuracy the Name of God may be the duty of the High Priest, but not Christians. There is no other name given to us except Jesus, or in the Hebrew Yeshua, but Jesus works fine, And the Name is singular for the Father, for the Son, for the Holy Ghost. Jesus, is like Eve the Rib taken out of Adam, God from God, proceeding out, as the Branch, and the Rib, that Jesus is fully God, and there is no divorce when God is married to Himself. Whatever we thought was the Invisible Father has fully come into the flesh as Jesus and from that Marriage of God with God, forever inseparable when you call on Jesus Christ, you are calling on the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost, They now all have the same Name, All the other names were by earlier works of God, now come to assembly in the Conception of Jesus. The Trinity is about how Invisible God proceeded from Himself, out of the Void to become seen, and finally appeared in Jesus, as Hebrews one says. So Jesus is the only Name of God. Jehovah or Yahweh, and all else is inadequate now to describe fully the Works of God to the Finish now seen in Jesus Christ.

  21. Mark Biltz: Ancient Hebrew Picture Language At The Time Of Moses

  22. The problem about above is: the TRANSLATORS. Linguists but not Apostle-trained, nor ‘true-blue’ Jews. I find sooo
many mistranslations, e.g. “wilderness, waste land, desolation means really “WATERLESS REGION”. I could not live without WATER,..just think about it !
But coming back to above: “in Gen.17:1 (I’m not game to use the word G.. anymore. HE introduced himself to Abram as “ALMIGHTY”.. God …and Moses said in Nu.32:27 “But thy servant will passover every man armed for war, before the LORD (should be Lord) to battle, as my lord (should be consistently Lord) saith. etc. etc. just to demonstrate.
(the Father never spoke to a physical, lower creation, for this reason HE appointed & anointed his general Executive Christ Jesus as LOGOS to communicate with earthlings.
In Ex.6:2= “I am the LORD (be Lord) (LORD is Father,- Son is Lord !)a distinction. V.3= “I appeared unto Isaac, Jacob by my name of G.. ALMIGHTY,..but by my name (inserted) Jeh….. was I – or I was NOT KNOWN. WE must use more common sense, grammar and Holy Spirit than the 70 Jews and other un/ill-trained translators.
((god or God seems more a title like chief, leader than a personal description, see 1Cor.8:5-6 says Paul: “there be that are called gods wether in heaven or earth, (as there be many gods and lords” work the rest out yourselves, it is sickening to follow the ‘translators’….Excuse the ‘lecture’ – I stand corrected by any if you please !!

  23. truly the three are one was meaning of one purpose not are one person behold you have been revealed all look into proverbs 3:13-18 to realize the holy spirit is wisdom and is feminine indicating the mother who becomes the mother of harlots as described in revelation…

  24. thy son’s name in hebrew is pronounced “ee” “eh” “ow” “sh” “oo” “ai” spelt by some as Yehoshuah which is the most correct considering John when stated I have come in my father’s name this name means in fuller “he is the last salvation and the first” since u in Hebrew at times means “and”

  25. You are very close….except the name is not Jehovah and even the name Jesus is a pagan God.

  26. Jesus is also a pagan deity the mashiach is YAHUWSHUA

  27. Test your Faith! Read entire link. You may never believe in God again! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAURq_ouYLc

  28. Have you considered that “Jehovah” is not correct? I have a blog entry that I believe explains just why this name is not correct. Besides, there is no “j” in Hebrew, and what I have studied shows that Yahusha (or Yahushua) is from the tribe of Yahudah, and is the Son of Father YAHUAH, which those Two together make up ‘Elohim.’ What say you?

  29. his name isn’t “the lord” either……………….
